We took a quick get away night up to Cocoa Beach to do a bucket list adventure-bioluminescence algae kayaking! We last minute booked at this hotel! Upon arrival, we had another party who had booked earlier on and wanted to be close to them. They kindly accommodated our request. We enjoyed all pool the next day and quickly left. Once home, my 6 year old could not find her beloved stuffed pig. After days of looking through the bags...the car....and retracing all of our steps, the only conclusion was the restaurant at the hotel. I called and even though 5 days had passed-they had held on to her. They were gracious to ups her back to us and save my daughter from more tears. Not many companies go the extra mile and this location has exceeded all customer service I could even hope for. They truly do care for the people who come to stay.

Old and abandoned place. Tiki only open 2 days a week.. facility need full remodeling.The only good thing is the walking distant to the beach..

Took a last minute trip to cocoa beach for the weekend and the front desk was super helpful in getting us a room and letting us check in a little early since we were traveling early in the day. A very cute place, especially if you have kids. It was right in the middle of everything so there were plenty of options to keep the whole family busy. The room was very clean. The hotel is quite old though and you can tell but everything seems clean and well-maintained. Would definitely stay again

The room telephone is non working, the door hatche is completely rusted, the tub is peeling out. I have stayed at other hotels less expensive, and in much, much better quality. I would never stay here again.

Didn’t stay! Drove from Orlando for Mambos (Website clearly sates it is Open today until 11pm!). Arrived to find it Totally CLOSED! Front desk said it was closed for the season, I believe this is the last day of Summer? Sorry snowbirds hope you don’t want to eat either? ? What Season, this is Florida! Won’t be back EVER! Totally unacceptable! Poor Management!

Over all we had a great stay. In total 2 adults 2 kids. Only down side to the place was around 2am our friendly neighbors next door to us in room 224 wanted to yell and scream all night after getting drunk and the door that connects room doesn’t remove any sound. So we heard everything till they finally decided to sleep. Luckily kids was already in bed by that time and i didn’t wanna ruin their night by complaining. Wasn’t their fault just a little down fall in hotel. Room was actually nice. Don’t know if other reviews just get a different type of room but ours was pretty updated. Ac was a little loud but not as bad as some reviews make them seem. For $120 a night i feel as the water area for the kids , pool for us and the beach was perfect. Down side pool kept running out of clean towels but I’m sure if you went up front you could obtain some. All and all it has it’s pros and cons but we enjoyed it.

Positive: Excellent location and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I arrived a few hours early and they were courteous enough to let me check in a bit early and everyone around was pleasant and welcoming. Negative: The hotel really needs to be remodeled, the bathroom is border line gross and the big bulky furniture in the small room not only make the room look smaller and cluttered but take up so much space.

Hotel didnt look nearly as nice as in pics. Our floor was sandy upon check in. The sink clogged up first night but got fixed right away. We had called for extra towels (only 3 for 4 people) I called, I spoke to housekeeping and still never received them. Had to call again the next day. Finally received them around noon the next day. Beds were so uncomfortable. The guy at the front desk was very polite. One suggestion though, since Im from the hospitality industry myself, the employees should be trained not to say out the guests room number out loud. Especially with other people present in the lobby. For security and safety reasons. Simply pointing to the room number saying this is your room number is enough. We made the best of it but wouldnt return

We had an accessible room with an awesome bathroom. The only thing to make the bathroom perfect would have been a roll in shower. The room was accessible enough, but was tight.Ramps to places werent well marked, but you can get everywhere.There were a few issues with the room, but the hotel helped fix them.The kids pool was great for the toddlers we brought with us. The swimming pool is gigantic and theres a hot tub. The beach is right there too.

Ill say this first and foremost, the palms is an old resort that was built in the 50s so its gonna be old and pretty rundown compared to the up an up hotels around it. Our room was not too bad at first but there was water leakage so we had to get a newer room. The staff was satisfactory and accommodating at the resort, however the receptionist was new and accidentally charged my card twice. (I had booked a room online from the resorts site). Turns out the system had a odd way to show the online reserve that she didnt see so no hate to her. While I was in the first room I found out I was in the negative from the double charge. I immediately went to go sort it out and she was able to troubleshoot and fix the inconvenience. Her manager was able to email my bank and cancel the second charge so that I luckily wasnt charged for over drafting. Besides the crazy time of money problems it was a very nice three day stay. The short walk to the beach and the pool as well as the view was worth the (first) charge. Although, what Im looking forward to is after they finish the renovations that will start in August. Soon itll be just as new and running as it can be with the other hotels and resorts around.**note: even while I was worried about the bouncing checks I wish they did send me a condolence voucher or some credit but being as what they did do to fix the issue it wasnt too bad**

Amenities are really awesome! The kids loved the kids area with the pirate ship which was a plus. Only reason why Im not giving a 5 star is because it is time for an update on your TV for the rainy days. Most places have smart TVs so you can use your cable provider. This does not offer that. Some channels were fuzzy. And also the dang cards for the rooms. Cannot have your phone close to the card or it will deactivate it. You do realize most people carry their phones and room card together especiallygoing to the beach? Its 2021. Time to improve on the prehistoric cards and TV people.

I guess I will start on a positive note. The location and beach access are fantastic. My kids enjoyed the water play area with the pirate ship and the pool. They were unfazed by the floating chunks of hair, fingernails, and other random debris floating in it (for the number of people using it they definitely could stand to step up the cleaning). Our room smelled like cigarette smoke despite it allegedly being a nonsmoking room but there was so much cigarette smoking going on throughout the resort, the designated smoking areas were irrelevant. To each his own I guess. Also only one light in our room worked and that was never resolved while we were there. I think I had much higher expectations based on the price and very good marketing on their part. The place was a total let down.

This is a cheap hotel, not a nice hotel. If your looking for a cheap place to crash near the beach, this might do it for you.This hotel is not being maintained. Locals kept telling us its for sale or recently bought, and will probably be torn down soon. The paint is faded, the sagging roof is supported by a temporary beam. There were firepits on the map, one of the maintenance guys told us they had been removed. The jacuzzi was hot but the dial was missing to start the bubbles and it had graffiti on the walls.Our room was nice inside, mini fridge, coffee maker, TV, bathroom worked. But the door was missing weather stripping or something. You could see light around the door when closed and hear people walking by. It had such a gap that it freaked out my wife and we asked for another room, which had the same problem. Our neighbors had their doors stuck, and the maintenance guy blamed it on the ocean air. I killed two roaches in my room. A local guy told us he used to get rooms where everything was broken.We came on Labor day and stayed until Friday. We were told the bar by the pool and restaurant by the beach would only be open for Labor day, and closed the remainder of the week. The remaining weekdays, it was a ghost town. They charged us a resort fee of $11 per day, which we werent expecting.

This place sucks. The room I stayed in is dirty. There’s mold and dirt in the bathroom, the furniture is old, the beds are hard, there’s no streaming services on the TV’s, there’s a hole in the wall, one of the lamps was unplugged, the phone doesn’t work, the coffee maker in the kitchen area doesn’t work, there’s no carpet and the internet is sloppy as hell. The fitness room is trashed, the game room has no good games, the pool and hot tub looked filthy, there’s hardly any service here and there’s criminals staying in these rooms. This place is a big mess and it needs to be shut down.

While we had a fun day there at a pirate event (dont ask, lol) it was pretty obvious that its past its prime. We didnt stay there but while walking around I could see lots of wood rot around windows and even mold on some of the window seals. I understand that its been sold and is being razed anyway so most of this is moot now.The event room was sufficient and a good time was had by all. The staff worked their tales off and we appreciate them. Good luck with whatever comes next for you all. The pool was fantastic! It was by the beach, not on the beach. There are 2 holes in the wall semi-patched. The shower knob is broken...but the shower does work. The beach access & pool made the trip great though.

The staff was not friendly. The rooms were clean and the pool area and the kiddie area was very clean. They need to get their employees to be more courteous and friendly towards their guest. I loved the fact the beach was about a three minute walk.

The room was acceptable. Im sure it was really nice a few decades ago. I think theyre slowly working on updating everything. Dont bother with the breakfast at Mambos. $30 plus tip for orange juice and a buffet style breakfast mediocre food. We did love the view and the proximity to the beach.

It was like a college room. It was rough! Toilet didn’t flush, tub didn’t drain, phone didn’t work. The best place was Mambas! The service was fantastic. Our room was ROUGH. If the beach wasn’t so close, we wouldn’t have stayed.

We had a confirmation for an overnight stay in the oceanside loft room. When we arrived at 4:00 check in time, we were told our room wasnt ready for another hour and they would call when it was ready. (Good customer servicewould have contacted us before we arrived and ended up having to sit in the hot parking lot with a chocolate birthday cake.) After an hour passes with no call, we decide to walk in to front desk. She says, Oh, yesyour room is ready. We open the door and the musty smell was strong, holes in the walls in both bathrooms, missing closet door, broken ceiling fan, and nasty dirty floors. I realize this place is older, but for what we paid,it should have been in a much nicer condition. Will never stay here again.

Its walking distance from a great spot at the beach. The pool and play area are pretty nice. The only critique Id have is that there dont seem to be any outdoor showers by the beach so you end up bringing a lot of sand home and towels seem to be in short supply

Positive: Staff was great! Location was great! The room was good overall. It appeared clean and was roomy. Mambos restaurant/bar was pleasant and conveniently located. Negative: As they are tearing down the hotel soon, maintenance is at a bare minimum it appears. We had a puddle of water in our room. Every time we took a shower the tub backed up & we walked out to a giant puddle on the floor in the other room.

This place was a disappointment. The doors/locks were corroded, the whole room had a musty smell and the floor was damp from the moment we walked in. The shower had zero water pressure (my husband ended up washing his hair in the sink). The walls are literally paper thin, too. This place is not cared for, and it’s a shame because their pirate ship pool is really cool. But the owners need to take better care of the entire facility.

Stayed in a Oceanfront room. Very nasty room! Tub was gross! Water in the bathroom run all night. Air conditioner leaked. Jacuzzi was broke. Room smelled like mold. Owner doesnt care and neither do the employees! No Refunds!!!

Large resort w/plenty of rooms, however extremely overpriced considering quality of service and poor housekeeping during pandemic. Mambos was closed. The kids water park and pool were ok. The only enjoyable part was ocean view and the beach itself. Would not return even with a discount.

The first room we had 1082 had bedbugs in both beds. They moved us to another room (we checked it no bugs) but no silverware either. We had a kitchen everything but spoons. Nothing to clean the dishes. Asked for spoons never got them. Rooms are not cleaned on a regular basis. Spilled water on the floor went to clean it up with a white towel it came out black.

Oh where to start. We got there the first night and the air wouldnt work, the lock on the door was broken so we moved room. Not awful. The second room was in working order but not the cleanest. They had checked in someone with 3 dogs next to us. They barked relentlessly through the night even after asking them to quiet the dogs. The next day the dogs barked and scratched at the door all that morning. (Joining room door unfortunately) we finally called the desk who had no idea the dogs were there. We moved again. The 3rd room had roaches in the nightstand. We went to the restaurant the night they had live music the bartender was so drunk he couldnt count anyones change and ended up being sent home after many complaints. We requested towels 3 nights, ended up having to go get them, trash was never picked up. The next night my car was broken into I called the desk to see if there were cameras, she said Ill call you right back and never heard from them. According to the responding officers this place is known to be this way and theyd suggest anywhere but here. I have to agree. We will not be back. Save yourself the trouble.

10/10 would not recommend. This place is basically a hyped up run down motel. We waited in line to check in for almost an hour. Then we get to our room and it isn’t clean : two half eaten bags on chips and drinks beside the bed. The paint was chipped in various places. Our shower was lukewarm at best. It seems there used to be a mirror on the back of the bathroom door that was ripped off and no attempt to repair the door. Not to mention the bathroom door would not close at all. The AC unit was super loud. Only perk is how close it is to the beach but there has to be better options than this place. And while there is a restaurant on site, the food was below mediocre.

It was OK. The hotel was definitely antiquated but pretty clean. However there was no nighttime security and the property was overrun with teens from the neighborhood hustling people for weed and cigarettes. I was shocked when one of them asked me for a dab pen. Im also skeptical of the room key card entry. The locks are old and my wifes card never worked. Even after we had it recorded. Bit it worked for the pool. Posing yet another problem. The people from the mainland who have stayed here once before continue to come back and use the pool and kiddie splash pad reserved for guests. Their key still works. One guy goes in outs a rock in the gate to keep it open and they creep in 2 or 3 at a time. Need security guard to control all the hype. But the room was clean and no bed bugs.

My family checked in late in the evening. The room, a king suit with ocean view, appears to have not be cleaned prior to our arrival. Sand all over the floor. The toilet was not even completely bolted to the floor properly and rocked when it was used. Paint chipping from walls. Very has-biny looking place from the outside. Trash all over the stairs and walkways. Oh, and yes, the the one elevator did smell like urine. How is this place still operating??

Im giving them a 1 star review for location. Conveniently located right on the beach (offers ocean front rooms). Also, very close to restaurants and shops. However, we had to switch rooms due to no hot water (and I did not include the fact that both adjacent rooms had extremely rough guest; I kept that comment to myself at the front desk.) Including the room we were upgraded to, the room is falling apart. I do NOT feel comfortable staying here!

Positive: The front desk staff was extremely helpful and accommodating to our special needs. Pool was very nice. Our grandson loved the toddler pool play area. Negative: Rooms seemed in desperate need of maintenance and updating. Restaurant/poolside bar did not open.

Very run down, I would imagine this place was incredible back when someone took care of it. I heard they are closing in July so it seems as if they gave up on fixing anything. I hope they keep all the employees at the new place because customer service here was Fantastic!!! Shout out to Matt the front desk guy who promptly put us in a upgraded room when we had a bathroom leak. Bartenders and staff rock at this place.

The only decent thing about this place was the location.The room wasnt just a little dirty it was filthy. Coffee in the pot, sand in the sheets, floor and tub. The dressers draws had more food and dirt in then logans has peanut shells in the floor on a busy Sunday. The microwave was dirty inside and out. The fridge was also nasty.I went to the front desk they apologized and gave us another upgraded room. It was worse with black mold and just as nasty.At this point we was after the 14 hour drive and 2 hours waiting on a clean room. I decided to clean it myself.. they gave us 20%. Which is nothing .Tried to make the best of it anyways. I WOULD NOT stay again.Also to add its not a family environment. Pool was not clean.Pictures look nice but they have to be tooken 20 years back because its nothing like that nowclean it for my self. The was ZERO

This location needs some serious renovations. Ive worked in the hotel industry for 5 years and have never seen something like this at this price. They ask for a $50 deposit for damages but every room is damaged in one way or another. The first room had paint coming off the wall and a broken bathtub. They upgraded our room to an ocean view and at first glance it seemed nice but the bathtub had mold and the paint from the bathtub was also comming off in several places. Thats only the rooms. The entire property is in need of service. Paint coming off the railings. No lights in the stairs. The elevator is broken and has been for what appears to be several months or more since they did not put the initial out of service date. The parking lot is starting to form holes in the ground. This location needs to put a large amount of rooms out of order. They should renovate their buildings and parking lot one block at a time making inctimental improvements. As it stands this is NOT a resort. It is lacking in too many areas. Who ever owns this property should seriously consider hiring a property manager and allocate their budget accordingly. The maintenance this place needs is urgent.

Very dated and run down room. Asked for a king bed, got 2 doubles. I guess that counts as a king. Really not sure how this resort has more than 1 star. The pictures advertising this place are very deceiving. For $152 a night, I expected much better.

We enjoyed our stay and really enjoyed the pirate festival. The bar at the pool was very enjoyable and the bar tender was amazing. The only problem we had was our air-conditioning in our room didnt work that good.

Just to be perfectly clear there are no ocean view rooms so you might need to lower your expectations of where you will be staying. - But you do have convenient beach access from the hotel. - We probably wont be staying here again its not worth the money.

Location Location Location. The whole complex could use a massive rehab. There is paint peeling, concrete is starting to crumble here and there, and the furniture is pretty beat up. But you dont come to the beach for the hotel room. The beach is only a short walk past the restaurant attached to the resort. We stayed in a second floor room looking out at the ocean and were not disappointed by the view. Overall, even with its flaws, I would come back here and recommend it to others.

Terrible experience! We booked because we heard it was a great family friendly and affordable hotel on the beach. When we arrived we waited about a half an hour in line to check-in. When we finally got to our room we drove all around the property looking for our room number. When we were driving past buildings we notice some of the rooms (all exterior) had the handles and locks off; which looked super shady. We found our building which looked better but still run down. Tried our keys multiple times and couldn’t get in. Finally one worked. We got inside and 1 lamp didn’t work at all and the other flickered like it was out of a horror film. That left us with one light other than the bathroom light. The door to the adjoining room was open when we arrived which to me looked sketchy, but the other side was shut. Someone didn’t lock it after the last visitors? The tub was gross. The lamp shades all had dirt on them. The room was just dingy and outdated by several decades. We left and came back and couldn’t get in our room because our keys didn’t work (no, they weren’t against our phones because we were specifically told not to do this at checkin). We checked the beds and didn’t see any bugs, etc (PTL). I complained to the front desk, because for the amount of money I paid for this room it should not have been this way, and it was suggested that we have the engineers come look at our lights. Not a new room or anything else to help remedy the situation. The ONLY good thing about this place is that it’s steps from the beach and there’s a pirate ship themed pool for the kiddos. If you’re someone looking for a good time, lots of booze, close to the beach, and don’t care about being sanitary then you’re golden here. I’ll never return to this resort, even if my kid likes the pool.

I stayed here with my family to celebrate my baby boy finishing first grade. I was woke up in the morning to my son telling me there was a roach in the bathroom. I go in there and next thing I know there was 3, one inside the toilet bowl, 2 on the floor then I go to try to lay down but then I noticed one in his bed and I wanted to puke. So disgusted, we packed all our belongings and left. We left behind tooth brushes and my personal body scrubber and just replaced them. But I was truly disguised. Idk how they are getting over 200 a night for rooms. With that many roaches in a short amount of time they have to know. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Stayed here for 6 weeks. Had a blast. Management team is top notch. Made me feel at home as much as possible. Everything worked in the room. Nice beds.Thanks everyone.!!

Very disappointed in our time there. There was no toilet paper in the bathrooms. The drinks from the bar were watered down. The servers were nothing to write home about. Do not have a wedding here! The planning and coordination were horrible. Very disappointed. Would not recommend.

Positive: Proximity to the ocean Negative: The hotel looked like a garbage dumb. Very dirty and old. The paint was peeling and the bathroom sick was damaged.

A bit gritty and dingy in some areas, but thats to be expected with a bustling beach area like this. Just dont forget to wear some sort of footwear. The sand is murder once it gets hot, learned this the hard way myself.

Well, the beach is nice. The rooms are in dire need of a complete overhaul. Staff does the best they can.

IT WAS NASTY AND AWFUL.The hotel is run down. You can see crack on walls outside my room and the door was hard to open. The floor had sand when we first walked In. The bathroom was super small. What kills me the MOST is the pool had mildew all over the corners and the water started turning green. It was not worth my $179 a night at all. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE THIS HOTEL SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.

The first room we were given smelled so badly of mold/mildew it was choking us. We moved to a second room which was tolerable. The bathroom had black mold on the ceiling and the painted tub was disgusting. I was embarassed that I had booked this hotel for my family. Would not recommend.The ONLY good thing was the close access to the beach.

It’s a TRAP!! This place is run down, definitely NOT what you see in the pictures. The pool heaters were not working, the room was disgusting. Kiddie pool slides are chipped and look like a hazard. People smoking everywhere. You have to walk through a cloud of smoke to get to the pool area. Toilet ran constantly, shower didn’t drain properly. Mambos food was extremely expensive and gross. It was like gas station food. Waitress told us they were bull dozing the entire property Sept or Oct and I can definitely see why. It has so much potential. Maybe an actual “Resort” will build there. We paid for 2 nights and only stayed one.

The place is in very bad shape, we paid for a cabana and got half of one. The restaurant was ridiculous. Over priced fast food on paper plates and out server was not nice at all. What a disappointment

Place is in desperate need of repairs, new paint, mold removal, new tubs, and pool needs a cleaning too. No breakfast available on premises. Not as nice as my last stay by far. Jane the lobby receptionist was friendly and accommodating

This place needs an overhaul.Were local to the area, and decided a last minute staycation at a hotel stay with a pool, etc.My wife booked the room and I only found out how expensive it was after we were there. ($200+/1 night)Ive stayed in $30-40/night motels that were cleaner.The pool was a cloudy, yellowing soupy mess. The room had ONE good thing, and that was the a/c unit...it blew nice and cold.The rooms are dilapidated, outlets didnt work, water damage, the TV was snowy, phone in room didnt work, etc.As mentioned before, Ive stayed in suspect motels, as nice or even nicer than this is now. Sadly, a shell of itself, when it was a Holiday Inn back in the day.

This is the worst hotel I have stayed in. The rooms were really dirty. There are human hair all over the place. The bathroom plumbing was not working. And looks like the owner does not have any interest in renovating this. This is a complete rundown. I would not recommend it to anyone. The only good part was it is next to the beach, but we did not get a ocean facing room so it did not make any difference .

Very dated. Thankfully we got our room changed by Wanda. It was better than the original room in the 100 block of rooms. Tub wouldnt drain & was peeling. From what I was told the hotel is being leveled at the end of season. It would have been nice to be informed by hotel of local events going on at or around hotel while staying there. Lack of towels at pool was always a challenge. Thankfully we got our own drinks n food outside of hotel. Mambos was basic bar food & pricey (13$^) Mixed Drinks at bar were 10$ each. Beach was easy access & very close, seaweed wasnt bad either. Lots of lil shells to collect- watch out for jelly fish! The pirate ship was ok- in rough condition.

Perfect location and well maintained, I liked it. You can swim, work out, or enjoy the restaurant dining then a drink around the tiki bar after and enjoy the music to. You should visit here.

Ive stayed here three or four times so I know what to expect. Rooms are pretty run down and not super clean. For example for my stay tonight, the tv doesnt work and the fridge wont get cold. Took a shower and the water wouldnt drain. The reason I chose to still stay here is because of the price a d direct access to the beach. Kinda bummed the bar is only open on weekends now I was looking forward to sipping a beer by the beach.

I was skeptical because of so many bad reviews. Yes the rooms are worn down but they are right on the beach and the resort is older. We had a blast with basketball courts open til 10pm and live music. The pool and bar was a good time. This hotel is very lively and easy to have a good time. Would definitely come back.

Positive: Room was very small, bed was uncomfortable, lots of crackheads in the area it was scary, very old building.. very unhappy:-( Negative: Room was too small uncomfortable, people were walking and talking near my window I couldn¿t sleep. Very unhappy:-(

Honestly, the room wasnt the best, we got a 2 double bed room and it just wasnt very aesthetically pleasing with blemishes here and there. Also when we first arrived for check-in there was 25$ owed besides what I had paid to book a room and 50$ as well for holding during my stay even though I booked with a credit card. So I had to pay 75$ on top of my room fees but the women at the front desk was helpful and explained I could use the 50$ at their restaurant and it can be charged to my room and within a week whatever money I didnt use would be put back on my card and it was with no issues.NOW ONTO THE POSITIVE... :)The beach is right there and their amenities are awesome! They had a DJ down at the pool on Saturday night, with a tiki bar there as well as the bar off the beach! Im giving this hotel 4 stars because honestly we had a blast at the beach and the pool party. Its a great location!The pictures Ive attached are from the restaurant/bar thats right on the beach one is the bottom floor during breakfast and the other is the top floor in the evening.

1.The bathroom was small.. The tub had been coated with a material that was peeling off.. The door opened inward and nearly struck the toilet making it difficult to get in a d out of the room.2. The ocean view I paid for was of vegitation / hedge and not the sand and surf.3. There were hundreds of cigarette butts outside my door.4. The font was off of the ice machine... Exposing it to all of the elements that passed by.5. Poor quality towels... No maid service... Very run down...6. Pass this one by!!!

Overpriced by the quality of rooms.Positive point is just the location.Beds no good; smells mold, bending are dirty.I don’t like it; next time I will look to another place! ☹️

Worst experience Ive ever had at a hotel. Room was dirty when we entered, air conditioner had 2 inches of dust on coils and would not keep up, toilet backed up and flooded room. Room smelt like mold. Room #2 was dirty as well, smelled moldy. Ran out of T.P. Called guest service. Was told staff would bring. 4.5 hours later at 2:30 am had to walk to office for T.P. Never would I consider staying at this place again and if you or your families health is important to you at all I would advise staying clear of this place. Mold is nothing to take lightly. This place needs a serious cleaning. There is no way these rooms are cleaned properly. Not worth the risk.

Rooms were old and over priced, tv was full of static. Drunk people outside in the parking lot yelling and screaming..motel receptionist was very nice and helpfull

Absolutely disgusting and the staff doesn’t care at all. This place is falling apart literally. Mold and water damage in the rooms. Plumbing doesn’t work and bathtub fill up. The tub paint is chipping and floats when trying to take a show since the tub doesn’t drain. This place needs a wrecking ball. We never stayed the night. There was no way.

Rooms are ok...the restort needs major renovations...painting, structural, etc etc.Some staff is nice...others are not as nice. Dirty towels, roaches. Our room door was broken...maintenance never showed up, had to fix it myself to feel safe. Never again. Only pro...the resort is on the beach.

First room we got was pretty bad but we requested a new room and it was actually good! The outdoor pool was awesome for the kids though and the bar was pretty nice. We had a great time.

Positive: Some of the staff were helpful and pleasant, however one of the staff member were squatting in the room next to us after someone left. He was clearly on some sort of drugs, he was outside the room talking at nothing/himself. Tried to break in our room. Negative: Our room had a horrible leak coming from the shower that filled our floor with water , and as stated above we had a crackhead try to break in our room while my wife and 2 year old daughter were trying to get in from the keycard not working on Day 1

Your website has not been updating since the place was built, it,s all very rundown. Bathroom shower had hair stuck to the wall, and you say you have a Continental breakfast, coffee place , it,s not open on Monday morning. Feel like we were ripped off.

I wouldn’t even give a one star! What a disappointment. Pictures on their site do not represent what is actually there. We switched rooms because the first room was musty smelling, the 2nd room had blood on the pillow, sand in the bed which is suppose to be freshly made???and was filthy. Our feet were black from walking on the floor. Rooms need some major revamping. Outlets in the room will not hold anything. I couldn’t even charge my cell phone or use my curling iron because they wouldn’t stay in any plugs . There was no housekeeping, the restaurant and bar on premises were not open, they didn’t offer towels by the pool. They offer basketball and volleyball but no balls because the lady at the desk said they don’t have a pump to blow them up. The pool was ok but water was hot and not worth the $12 resort fee to use. Save yourself a lot of money and disappointment!! After they charged my card plus the deposit I didn’t have the extra money to spend on another so called resort because my credit wouldn’t come thru for 4-5 business days. We did end up leaving early because we couldn’t take another day.

Good hotel clean, good customer service and most of the staff are great but the barr Near the beach, horrible,. The people that work there walk by you no greetings or you need anything I was at the bar for 8 minutes before I walk away back to the beach and purchase my drinks from the other hotel to the left side I give the Barr zero stars

Nothing about this place feels like a resort. Had to wait well past 4 to get in or room bc staff was several hours behind cleaning. When we got it the toilet was broken, tub didn’t drain and had missing tiles. The pirate pool was fun for the kids but was filthy. Rooms 500 Thur 700 were closest to the beach- sounds great except the bar is attached to it playing loud music till after midnight which is terrible for small kids

Positive: I love the location great for families with children beach walking distance pool had food and bar menus and a game room there is also alot to do around the hotel Negative: The room was horrible beds were not attached 2 the headboard the beds were every where 1 bed was smaller then the other & after only 2hours of checking in we had killed 5 big old roaches the floor was nasty and black. Room was changed to cleaner & bigger

Love this place! Tiki bar for drinks pool or Oceanside, huge pool for adults and splash pirate park with slides for the kiddos. Walk to the beach, chill in the pool or hot tub, arcade and gym open with shuffle board and basketball court. Doesn’t break the bank either. Try the Villas if you have a family.

Most disgusting place Ive ever stayed at. This is a 1970s motel. It should be bulldozed and something new put it. The only reason we stayed the one night is because we didnt get there until late in the evening and were tired. I would feel bad for someone traveling for vacation and booking this for a week with nowhere to go.

Only thing good walking to beach. Bathroom the handle fell off. Cleaned up blood on the toilet when we checked in. Rust everywhere as well and the bed had a huge dip in the middle. They did refund deposit ( which would have happened anyway). Asked for a call from management. Never heard a thing. If you have a choice go else where.

Quick inexpensive stay. Room was good.Bar and restaurant was closed. Staff said it was due to low occupancy. Nice beach access.

This Place has seen one too many spring breaks 😳The rooms and Grounds are in need of some real TLC . However, the staff there was extremely nice and accommodating. The beach access is nice. Lesson learned- dont be enticed by just the name of the venue. Do some solid research on where you want to stay.

Been going here for about 8 years, this is the last! Rooms very warm, trash all over, mombos service was great wed. night, Thursday was like no one could be bothered! Done here!! No more....Good bye!!!

Positive: Staff was nice Negative: Pictures were very misleading mostly you think your like right in the beach with a beach view. There was mold in our bathroom, their laundry facility was moldy, I kept smelling weed. I did not feel safe. The beds however were clean. Would not stay again.

Spent well over $400 here for two nights. One of the bathtubs leaked, the toilet in the same bathroom was clogged, the curtains had food or something all over them and the floors were dirty. Was DEFINITELY NOT worth what I paid. Even asked to get maintenance to fix the tub nobody showed. I loved the place and the people but not worth it.

Dont let the pictures fool you. This place is very dirty, all the outside and the inside my room was smelly the furniture is extremely old door knobs falling off just super trashy sorry to say, horrible and they were charging me 320.$ a night...I walked out went to the lobby cancelled refund money back. Do not recommend it at all specially if you are traveling with family for an awesome vacation. But Drove a few down and ended up staying at the Double tree by Hilton in Melbourne Fl. Beachfront top floor gorgeous place. For the same amount of money my family and I super enjoyed it.

We have loved going to the pirate festivals there. The staff is always great. Its a shame this was the last one. We will always hold fond memories of International Palms.

Understaffed and outdated rooms. Broken faucet. But the room was just to sleep in. Good band and drinks. Nice tiki and cool crowd

Somewhat dated but everything was functional and felt relatively safe especially traveling alone with 2 children that is always a huge plus to me only reason I gave 4 stars was the beach shower and the kids water park really need some work only 1 shower works and no foot clean off nozzle. The water paks slides are rough half the water features dont work and the adult pool was very dirty.

Im not sure how this place has a 3 star rating. It wasnt bad enough for 1 star, but I would go 1.5. Unfortunately, I think it is a has-been resort. It is very run down.

The rooms were good, the door knobs ify in the bathroom and entrance. The food was great. The oceanfront was noteworthy. The best part was the bartenders, Nelson and Josh (bald head.) They were fantastic and made the stay incredible. Go to the bar and kick back on island time with those two, they know how to make you feel welcome. Hats off. The live music with the bulletband was exceptional too.

Pictures online are deceiving. Has a motel feel to it as most of all the room was dirty, stained, smelled, etc. The phones have not worked in over 3 days now. When you try to call, it does not go through. The fitness centers equipment was completely trash and unsafe. Rusted out ellipticals and you can tell that they have never been maintained. Do not recommend this to anyone.

Great room with a view of the ocean.This is an older resort that probably wont be here for much longer. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Positive: Right next to the beach Negative: Roaches. Clogged sinks, running toilet. I was totally dissatisfied

Positive: Close to the beach and pool was nice. Negative: The room was very out dated. Air conditioner didn¿t work very well and the bathroom tub was chipping and paint was all in the tub. All the ice makers where broke.

This place seems like it was awesome about 20 yrs ago. Its very run down now. The room did not seem like it was cleaned at all. There was a childs toy under the bed and baby food in the mini fridge. Hot tub was broken, pool heater broken, doors to get into game room and pool broken. Basketball hoop broken. Shower didnt drain properly, and the toilet handle would get stuck and never stop running. Etc.But. If you put only dimes in the coke vending machine in the lobby, you get credit for it and the dime comes out in the change dispenser. So, basically could get free bottles of soda if you are patient enough to put dimes in repeatedly!

Pet friendly after 4th street. Water is fresh, not hot or cold. There was a high tide so we didnt get in but it was nice relaxing just watching waves rolls in and having feet in water.

Please let me share the worst experience I have ever come encounter with a hotel. I would not even give it any stars. From the uncleanness. To the horrible staff. Not to mention the door handles that come off dirty sheets.... over price the worst!!!! Never would go back or refer anyone good luck
