On Monday march 1st I went to this post office with my mother around 3-330ish and had the worst experience. I had an extra large box full of gifts for two little girls in our family that I havent seen since the pandemic. When it was our turn to be helped the woman working told me to bring my large box over to the counter to the right and when I did she immediately took the box and flipped in down onto its side like it was nothing. Meanwhile the box had fragile written all over and I began to ask her if the box could stay right side up and she rudely cut me off and said aint gonna happen we dont do that. I would have appreciated to know this information before she flipped my box over but I let it go. She then says absolutely nothing and walks 3 counters over to the left and starts yelling to my mom and I saying hello!? HELLO!? The gentlemen working politely told us to go to her counter. We then went up to her counter with the large box blocking the view of the woman and she again says to us HELLO!? And my mom spoke up and said yes what are we supposed to do seeing as the woman said nothing to us and the woman said for us to follow the screen on the desk. After all the confusion and rudeness the woman then tells us we cant ship our package its to big to take it to UPS and she throws our package on a cart again on another side and wheels it to us and says nothing else. We left feeling uncared about, neglected, and extremely frustrated that we got absolutely no help. We understand the box was too big but the woman offered us no options besides going somewhere else as if we werent wanted or something. We did bring the box home open it up to find broken bathbombs and a cracked glass. Dont expect a hi how are you or a how may I help you from this place.

Do NOT drop any packages off in the drop boxes or mailbox. They will not scan them. So basically, it’s free items for their incompetent employees to steal.

This is a very nice Post office. The employees are always helpful. I was trying to find out who is responsible for the landscaping. Im still not sure but the sidewalk going to the Post Office from the main sidewalk has bushes covering it and this is unsafe. I have witness 3 near misses as cars went out the one way entrance and trucks almost ran into them. We need to get the bushes trimmed so the pedestrians and students can enter when walking safely.

Just check on package which was slated for delivery to our business today and was surprised to learn that no one was available to accept delivery @ 5:10 today. Funny thing, were an auto dealership with staff everywhere. Delivery was not even attempted, that much is apparent. Lets see if they deliver our package tomorrow morning or if no one will be available again.

I live in saddlebrooke apartments, over the last maybe 2 years Ive had settlement checks, replacement bank cards, unemployment info, gift cards, irs information.....etc never get delivered to my address that is scanned by informed delivery and it never makes it to my mailbox so either this post office is garbage or someone is stealing my stuff

Ive never been to this post office in person, but my package intended for California, was misaddressed by a CPU here in Colorado and shipped to their post office in Maryland. (I still have NO IDEA how the clerk at the desk got this address to send it to MD) The Cockeysville USPS customer service was very quick to locate and correctly ship my package to CA. VERY thankful for the kind actions of these workers. 10/10 for these folks. THANK YOU!

Editing my review...I was orginally upset about missing packages. I went in person to the post office and they were incredibly helpful and fixed my issues (a mistake with my appt not labeling my mailbox). On another visit, a postal worker helped me determine the best option to mail a package.So overall, great service, very helpful workers, and efficient!

This busy Post Office has the nicest and most helpful personnel. They have always been friendly- keep the lines moving and make each customer feel like they are the only person in the room. Bravo to the Wight Avenue PO!

I go there early every morning and it’s normally dirty and the stamp machine is usually not working. I’ve noticed the passport camera has not been working for over three months now. If you don’t go early good luck, parking is horrible and it takes forever to park and longer to get out of there. Most post offices are busy, but your better off at the one off Greenspring drive. More parking and easier to get in and out of.

Not happy at all with this post office. I should have had 2 packages delivered over the weekend. I checked tracking and it said “unable to access location.” I have 2 easily accessible doors they can put the packages by! On Monday it said “Out for delivery.” I actually had 8 packages to be delivered on Monday. I only received 3. The rest read “Put on hold per customers request.” Whatttt so now they are lying so they don’t have to do their job?!?! I don’t get it. Why would I accept 3 boxes and tell them to hold the rest. Doesn’t even make sense! I wish I knew how to report the lies.

I will never come back to this post office! The line is always out the door and the staff are extremely slow. I shipped a package through them on August 16, 2018 with no receipt given to me. I have been checking with the receiver of the package for the past 3weeks wondering why they have not received my package. Then, I find out that the post office had never sent it out immediately. It is just now in York, PA after 3 weeks! I WOULD LOVE TO GIVE A -5 STAR RATING

No complaint from me. I recently tried to buy USPS Tracking for some 1st Class letter items (this product doesnt exist), here. She stated that tracking was possible but I didnt understand that she meant via Certified Mail. The clerk allowed me to back out the entire transaction and revert to just paying postage and was totally polite about it. 5 Stars for awesome customer service, even in the face of dude who was clueless. Would post again.

The only reason this location gets any stars at all is because of the help I received from two lovely women who assisted me with getting my sons passport. If I wrote a separate review for their services they would have gotten 5 starts... However, that isnt going to happen today. I am completely miffed that I have to walk up and down and around my neighborhood looking for my packages because the mail carrier cant seem to get the addresses straight. I was told my the supervisor that people make mistakes, human error happens, maam...but three times in a row? Uh uh, I dont think so. Then I was told to call the sending company (Amazon) to request a replacement...SMH. Sigh. Breathe. Compose. Repeat. Thanks for nothing.

I moved, put in an address change. 5 months later, Package was left by carrier at old address, a mailbox that no longer had my name attached to it. Will not locate my package, return my calls or refund the money.. FOR THIER MISTAKE. SERVICE NOT RENDERED! Use Ups, fedex, much better customer support!

For counter service they are great. Delivery of even Certified and Registered mail is DISMAL. We sent first class mail from Lutherville to Odenton MD on Tuesday November 12 and that piece of mail just arrived today on November 27... 15 days Later!!!!!!!!!I stopped doing ALL BUSINESS with the USPS after their web site FAILED AGAIN for the umpteenth time. In addition, I received an email from the USPS saying that they were no longer supporting the Regional A type of Priority Mail box. They did this without warning or justification. At this point I contacted UPS to revive my account with UPS. Based on my frequency of shipping I managed to have my Tier-Based rating upgraded to a higher level and I now receive a bonus reduction in my fees based on my frequent business shipping. That when combined with the fact that when I buy something online, I can often have the seller use MY UPS shipping number so I receive a shipping charge that is LOWER than the USPS. I will NEVER return to the USPS for any of my business shipping. Its their loss and not mine.

Never delivers packages on time if at all. I come and try to pick up the package and they claim its already been sent back only to find out from the company that I ordered it from that they never got a notice it was returned. One month later, they tell me that it was finally returned. This place is employed by a bunch of liars who cant be bothered to do their job.

I really hate it when my packages come through USPS when ordering from Amazon. They literally never get here when they are supposed to. And they won’t let you pick it up either. I NEED MY STUFF!It’s usually expensive stuff that seems to come through here for some reason instead of UPS or FedEX. And the employees for the most part kinda suck. I don’t even feel comfortable with them handling items that are worth more than they make in a month.Btw, the some of the staff is rude. I know your job sucks, but no need to take it out on me because your 50+ years of life all came down to you handling envelopes all day.

I had a package being delivered to an old address, so I called this USPS to try and hold it for me. Supposedly, they did because they printed out a sheet of paper stating to hold the package. I was also told to call in the morning to confirm to have the package held. Well, called again, someone else answered and told me I could intercept the package, which I was confused why the person the day before did not mention it. The guy who told me about how to intercept the package was not very friendly and could not even tell me how to get to the webpage that would allow me to do so, just told me to click intercept package. It was not hard but most places would tell you go to this tab and its located at the bottom; not hard..Well, the package was delivered to the wrong address anyway, so I wasted my time. It costs $12.55 to intercept the package. It says it will not charge if unsuccessful, so I hope thats true.. Still expensive to do so.I guess I just feel like no one really made any effort to help. So, to sum it up, I was disappointed and I hope I do not have to do any business here again. Its also quite sad how the USPS in the area have such low ratings and also how these employees get paid very well, even more then me ^_^

My packages continue to go missing or delivered extremely late. I watch the young girls delivering the mail and they could care less about the careful handling of mail, theyre usually too busy on the phone talking to their friends to pay attention. I often times get my neighbors mail and have to hand deliver it to them. Ridiculous. Worst experiences ever.

Would love to give negative starts but that isnt possible unfortunately! Went in to see why the business I work hasnt been getting our mail and the 3 people I had contact with were beyond rude. The last man I encountered was the worst at 11 am on a Tuesday I clearly was a thorn in his side and had the nerve to ask me well can you guarantee that someone will check the mail, like seriously isnt that why Im here? Im no punk kid and am being very nice about our mail service. I cant speak on behalf the other businesses in the shopping center just the one I work for so dont be mad at me for all the other businesses. Way to start my day!! Pray I NEVER have to come to this post again.

I am surprised at the negative reviews. I have had nothing but good experience with the personnel at Cockeysville post office. I have found the counter personnel to be friendly, efficient and courteous, and I have had every issue, such as a mis-delivered package, to be promptly and successfully resolved.

Anto Deepaks unsubstantiated claim of racism is pathetic and racist itself. Ive never encountered a problem here, and people such as Mona have been helpful in the 25 years I have used this post office. Mr. Deepaks claim of racism due to a perceived (or legitimate) lack of customer service shows that he himself is racist, because he levels a claim of racism against a white person (I know who she is) because he was dissatisfied. That is worse than institutional racism because he is being deliberate and intentional. Ignore his review as there is no racism against anyone there, I have seen them provide good service to people of all races and ethnicities.

Unfortunately I have to give one star!! If google have provided a option to say 0 worth rating , I should have gone for that!! Pathetic customer service and response ... not at all helpful.. worst behavior !! Not open on time .. but very eager to close on time ...Today I got service from Karen at the counter and the way she replied shows that she showing racism ....I had to borrow a pen from other officer at USPS and when I requsted Karen to handover to that officer (because I couldnt find that officer there) her reply was its not my business or job ....scrap lady ... so pathetic behavior in whole service Karen provided today ...Unfortunately this is the only USPS office close to me and still I have to go there ...Upon all these ...Mentioned collection time as 9 am in the note and they opened by 10 am

This post office is the WORST!! Nothing Ive ever sent from this location has been delivered on time. It doesnt matter if I pay for next day delivery or any form of expedited delivery for that matter, because it always takes atleast 7-10 days for the recipient to receive it. To make matters worse they dont ever send anything out from the post office like their collection times say they do. I paid for two day shipping on Monday and its now Friday and it still hasnt left the facility yet... They are awful!!!

I would like to thank Tim for outstanding service at the Cockeysville P.O. I had the misfortune to mail a pkg to CA, somehow the label was damaged, and after 2 weeks was returned back to Cockeysville. Tim was very helpful, and the pkg is now on its way back to CA....

Seriously upset with our carrier. The tracking numbers for the past 3 packages that Ive ordered have randomly updated to Notice Left, No one available, yet someone was home and there were no notices left. If you dont like your job, find another... Its so inconvenient, especially being 9 mos pregnant and having to go pick up my packages at the office.
