We really like this place!! The coach is awesome and cares about his kids. All the coaches are great. And they start classes at age 4. Boys and girls. My grandson has been going for almost three years now, and really enjoys it.

Fantastic school with great instructors that take time with each one of their students. These past few months have helped me come so far in such a little amount of time. I feel like I take something away from every class. An extremely welcoming environment for everyone!

Great place to train Brazilian JiuJitsu for the day one practitioner to the session competitor. Great environment to train and top instructors. I highly recommend training if your in the area.

This gym and the people in it are the reason I started (and have continued training) Jiu Jitsu.We got our oldest son signed up first, then I decided to check out the womens class and was hooked from the first night. Our youngest son ended up wanting to sign up as well. We ended up training there for a year.I wish I had found this place and group of people when we first moved to Clovis. The gym is clean, the coaches are great and the sense of community is unmatched. Your kids will learn about respect, humility, and persistence. Coach Daniel knows how to push students to challenge themselves and motivate them. After having to move to another area and checking out some other gyms, there is truly no place like Silverback. Dont pass up the opportunity to meet some amazing people and learn an art that makes you a better person.

Started training here about 4 years ago and been satisfied since. Good training great people great environment and great for learning how to defend yourself on the streets.

I started Jiu Jitsu at this gym, and was hooked immediately! Everyone is really friendly, and we are all family now. I love the training, the camaraderie, and the skill here. It really is a top notch gym, and mats are kept very clean. If you havent tried it, definitely start your journey here.

Very family and team oriented.The instructor is top notch and thorough when explaining small details.Every question is answered and each students personal journey is never taken lightly.The actual facility is new and the state-of-the-art mats made it my first and only choice.Honestly couldnt find a better place to continue my journey in the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Stopped in from out of town. This was, first off, a really clean academy. No funky smells or dirty floors. Secondly, Fantastic facility with top notch instructors. Not only do they have real world experience using the martial art they teach but the have enough understanding to teach regular men, women and children Jiu Jitsu. Top notch in eastern New Mexico.

Ive trained jiujitsu for over 8 years all over the world in the Air Force stationed at multiple overseas and stateside assignments. Silverback facilities and instruction is an outstanding place for beginners as well as seasoned grapplers. The guys there pushed me to become the 2017 Pan American champion in my division... I have recently retired and moved away but I would highly recommend Dan and all the coaches that teach there to anyone.

My family had a terrible experience here. I reached out via the Facebook page to find out when classes were and how much. I was given the information. I couldnt wait to take my daughter. We get there and the instructor was late, so we were rushed during the sign up process. Not explained how to put the belt or uniform on my daughter. And then it was Awards night. Not a normal practice. So it was a waste of an hour because no demonstrations or practice was given. My daughter felt so out of place. My daughter gets anxiety and it started to creep up. I did my best to calm her down, not knowing the instructor was ease dropping on my private conversation with my daughter. After practice we were not approached or asked if we would be back. We were ignored.After 2 days I wrote the instructor of our disappointing experience and the response I got was it was my fault for not checking their Facebook page to see what was happening that day. Even though he had every opportunity to tell us in person. And then he began to recall my private conversation with my daughter to use against me.This business practice is poor and doesnt seem like they want new students. It was very angering and disappointing that this happened. and because of this my daughter refuses to go back or try again. So sad this happened. I wouldnt reccomend this instructor or place to anyone.

Silverback Jiu-Jitsu is my familys home away from home. We all train at the gym. My husband introduced my family to the sport over 9 years ago. My oldest kids started a few years ago and then finally I started about 17 months ago. Now, even our younger children roll.There are many reasons why I love Jiu-Jitsu thanks to Silverback Jiu-Jitsu, but here are my 5 top reasons:1. The main reason we all do jiu-jitsu now is because of how amazing Silverback has been to us. As a female I was very intimidated at first, but Daniel has been patient and welcoming. Daniel and the other coaches really take their time explaining everything. Everyone is very nice and have become like a second family.2. Jiu-Jitsu has really helped me get comfortable when being in uncomfortable situations. I have noticed I do not have as much anxiety as I use to before doing Jiu-Jitsu. I can stay more calm in everyday stressful situations. I have also lost weight and have built muscle that I did not have before.3. One of the best thing about having our family train at Silverback is watching our children compete in jiu-jitsu tournaments. Watching my oldest daughter who is 15 become so strong and confident is an amazing feeling. Silverback has helped her win over 18 medals with over half of them being gold medals. She has competed international and has placed well. Our youngest son also competes and he loves going to tournaments, he has so much fun even if he doesnt get first place.4. Jiu-Jitsu has made our family closer. We train together, travel to tournaments together, and bond more thanks to Jiu-Jitsu. No matter what is going on we always encourage each other when we are training.5. Silverback Jiu-Jitsu is a very clean school. They make sure their mats are sanitized and the school is kept very clean.I could continue to write good things, but the bottom line is I highly recommend Silverback Jiu-Jitsu. You should give it a try, because Jiu-Jitsu will change your life with the right coaches.Thank you Silverback for all you do for us, I am very grateful!
