I started off getting crunch at my first gym membership and not once have they let me down. They always kept up with me and my goals along with being consistent in reaching out to me. The environment it truly amazing and they make me feel like family. All but great vibes and motivational individuals all around in the gym especially the workers there. The gym is always organized and clean.

Stay away from this gym. Horrendous customer service. Attempted to cancel membership and was told to wait until a certain point so that I dont get charged. Long story short I was charged for another year membership without resigning any contracts and they refuse to refund me. I was NEVER advised that my membership was going to expire and need to renew my membership or anything like that. Thankfully I am no longer a member there but unfortunately lost money. STAY AWAY!!!UPDATE: I sent an email to the owner since they replied to my review but they never responded to the email I sent which was me just asking what they wanted. Their reply says WE would love to chat further so that WE can deliver a better experience. Silence is all I have received. My original review still stands true. STAY AWAY!!

Joined since it started...their base membership is great and affordable. Plenty of equipment and good ambience.

Definitely gets packed early and equipment is new. The outside portions is kinda depressing tho. I understand it’s old equipment but still not maintained or monitored well. Other than that it’s still nice to go to

The music isnt bad and theres a decent amount of windows, and red bull tv.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and there is plenty of room to have your own space. The have track upstairs and bike room plus more more! Strongly recommend premium package for the extra benefits are worth it. Only downfall I was told you can use bluetooth speakers and after signing up was told that I cant.

They make it incredibly difficult to cancel a membership and become hostile in the process also becoming irate over false charges they try to deny and refuse to legitimize. Certainly unprofessional with the money of other people they play with and the sneaky reinstatement of membership fees that cause overdrawn charges to my bank and honestly not a good gym overall seemingly on a tight budget and scavenging up any little amount for their gain. Absolutely horrible experience and I hope this review is seen before making the same mistake of trusting this ‘I wouldn’t even call it a gym’ that I did. Good luck

Decided to visit and see if it was worth rejoining Crunch. Honestly left after 20 minutes. This place is not... up to par. I went at 7:30 pm and the place was crowded (understandable). However, 90% of the gym members did not have masks on. The bathrooms were dirty. And no one was wiping down equipment. I went to use the dip machine and there was a layer of some liquid on the seat. Im glad I cancelled my membership and I am not rejoining. I have been to other clubs though so this review is for this one club only and not a reflection of other Crunch gyms.

This is probably the best affordable gym Ive gotten to. Its pretty clean and they have an outside area. I like that they have punching bags.

I’m not staying in Clovis anymore and had limited experience at this gym. But the gentleman named Mehrdad had exceptional customer service. He was very friendly and still treated me with respect even though I was canceling my membership. Good equipment, respectful staff and they moved they’re gym indoors now. Worth a look around.

I have love my experience here at crunch. Staff is really cool. They are always available to help you when you have a question. If something is broken or not working the manager will go out there and fix the equipment. Love working out here

First time to this particular gym and compared to the crunch fitness gyms in the more southern part of California, crunch Shaw was clean with good customer service. With no questions asked the employees greeted me with hospitality and explained the layout in a simple manner which helped me get in my ideal workout. - thanks Crunch Shaw ✊🏾

Just joined Crunch after other gyms were closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Very thankful that their outdoor area is still open. Really good value for the monthly membership fee. Good equipment and never have to wait to use a machine. Friendly staff too. Thanks for my free T-shirt!

I’ve had a positive experience at this gym. Staff is super helping and accommodating!! The gym has an outdoor and indoor area, which is good for when it gets busy and a pretty day.

This gym is definitely better than working at home since the virus is still out. When they open the inside, it’s very clean, they make sure guests wear their mask and have little cleaning stations to make sure we wipe down equipment after use. But since it’s outside as of now, guests are not required to wear masks so that’s a downfall, for the most part I see that they try to keep it clean. The staff is very friendly, if they enforce masks it would definitely be a 5 star ((:

This gym has a large variety of equipment, friendly staff, and the best classes. Tiff’s dance class on Mondays and Wednesdays is so much fun and a great workout! I also feel like this gym is a little less intimidating than most because everyone is super friendly.

To be able to workout outdoor is very great. Since everything closed, this the only place where i can get my workout in. Staff is friendly and this place is nice and clean. I would recommend you guys to try it out.

I’ve been going here for about a year and so far I really like it! They thought ahead and made sure to include an outdoor area due to Covid, which is useful as regulations keep changing and I havent really seen other gyms do the same. I love the amenities indoor so I will continue to go here once we are able to go inside.

I’m not from Clovis. But I highly recommend if you are or dont have a membership to check the facility out. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff an the gentleman that helped me out named Mehrdad. The gym has everything you need and some.Thanks again for the hospitality

The gym Itself was nice when it was open, but since the pandemic it has really gone down in quality. The charged me for the yearly fee even though I have had my account on hold since September because, just a heads up if this matters to you, they don’t require people to wear masks, and they don’t limit the number of people allowed inside the gates. When crunch was open fully it was a great gym, but their lack of empathy in that they will not refund me for the yearly fee even after explaining to them the fact that I cannot afford it any more due to my hours being cut low at work makes me want to not ever want to return. I know gyms are notoriously skeevy but I really thought this place was different. They got their money I guess, the thing they seem to care about most.

My new gym. They have all I need, price is decent gym size is more than enough. Free weights to machines as well as a cross fit section.

This gym deserves 5 stars. The employees are well trained && respectful.

This place has been my saving grace during quarantine! the outdoor setting is perfect and the atmosphere is positive. the staff have been nothing but professional and friendly. Mehrdad signed me up and was super helpful, and Kristina has been a happy face checking me in first thing in the mornings. I can’t wait for the new location to open, or for covid precautions to be lifted so I can take advantage of all the gym has to offer!

I wrote another review about over a week ago wanting to cancel my appointment over the phone because my husband and I got covid and are not fully recovered and dont want to spread it if we are carriers and they reply saying to email them and I did and NO REPLY WHAT SO EVER! Itdbeen over a week now if I can give them 0 stars I would, they are so cold hearted about peoples safety! Dont go here save urself and go somewhere else!

Perfect spot for an outdoor workout!! Signed up as soon as I heard they would be opening up. Kristina and the dude with the sleeve are very helpful, check in is quick! It does get packed, but this is a gold mine.. you can get a good workout in at any time just gotta be patient. Thanks for the management for making this available to us. I have been trying to cancel my membership since last year because of COVID-19, I am too scared to go outside and I have emailed Crunch and called but no one answers/replies. I am not going in person to cancel, I do not care if they say everything is cleaned! I already got Covid in December and I am still recovering. So we are quarantining until we fully heal! The management here is ridiculous I do not recommend this gym. Some of my friends and family have already cancelled or are trying to cancel their membership too because of the problems they have gotten here!!!

Staff is helpful and friendly. However, since it’s the only gym open it’s very crowded. Equipment is decent. They definitely can work on the cleanliness of the bathroom and work out areas.

Nathan really hooked me up on 12 October. I called in to freeze because I’m TDY Active Duty Army. The San Jose Crunch tried to make me re enroll and pay almost $30. After hearing that Nathan informed me that for just $10 more I could use their gym and not have to remember to cancel at San Jose. Saved me a lot of hassle and money and was very professional in the way he assisted me. Can’t remember the last time anyone was that professional in their conduct. Gym itself is awesome, equipment is well kept and the staff is very customer focused. For the price this place is a steal.

Worst experience if you sign a contract. Beware contract is never explained which is illegal. Currently awaiting collection so it can be resolved in small claims since they have no customer service or resolution skills.

The only place open in town. All new equipment, friendly staff and a good assortment of machines. It can get crowded, but during these times, thats expected. Overall, the monthly cost and fees are more than fair. Even after everything opens back up I may just stay here. Good job guys.

Went one day before they closed again cool gym. Id encourage the owners to consider defying Newsome and hire private militia or security to protect his business. Enough is enough. Everyone was social distancing, machines were being cleaned by staff non stop etc.
