Was grateful to hear from my insurance that they were sending me to Hertz. Great team at this location! Very courteous and excellent customer service.

Didnt even get to see how the rental experience would be as getting a rental with them is very difficult if you dont have or want to use a credit card, you can use a debit card but reservation has to be made 24 hrs. In advance and you have to be over 25 both not too big a deal, but they also do a soft credit check and you have to have a corporate referral or number or something along those lines and have a ridiculous deposit of 500$ that they hold for the duration of the rental

Made a reservation over 24 hours ago. I showed up to pick up the reserved vehicle and was told by another customer, who made reservations several days in advance that hey had no vehicles. I asked the counter gentleman and he had no remorse and an attitude and stated he was trying track down the vehicles to see when they will be here. Another woman showed up that had a reservation and she was told the same. No apologies, nothing was said. I said thank you but I won’t be returning and still they said nothing. I got an Uber here and literally I am now stranded and had several appointments today and now late to my first.

We travel quite a bit and have rented many cars in the past with other companies without issue. This was our first time renting from this company in Clovis. Bad mistake. First time and will be our last time with this office. I will try to make this short and straight to the point. Employees have no customer service skills. The guy at counter seemed to be irritated because I didnt take 1 of the 2 extra coverage he was offering. He took us to car and when we pointed out the first scratch and dent on the car to him he got irritated and said his car wash guy already took pictures of everything and walked back into office leaving us there. We havent even opened the car door to look inside yet. The car was not detailed thoroughly, especially with Covid-19 they should do a better job. Stains everywhere, steering wheel dirty, the car had lots of scratches and dents, smelled bad. We had to wipe everything down. The engine maintenance service now light came on.Office doesnt answer phone calls, 1-800 number on contract you cant reach a live person. Tech support will text you but takes forever to get back to you or dont get back to you at all.. Car smelled so bad of cigarettes gave us bad reactions. No other Hertz will exchange the car for us. Hertz tech on 1-800 number said they would help us with this but stopped texting us and didnt help us. When we returned car and told employee our experience he didnt even apologize or anything as if this was all normal. I would not recommend renting from this office to anyone ever.

As I’m writing this I have been stranded for 5 days without a vehicle (the rental broke down with electrical issue), over 6 hours total of waiting on hold for roadside service, and have been told by two different people that a supervisor will be contacting me. Which has not happened. I can’t believe they do this to their customers. Luckily I know some people in the area who have given me a ride around a couple times. Horribly unacceptable customer service.

Great place to rent a car fast friendly staff & not to costly.. The drivers are great & very safe drivers. I honestly believe. My mother is the best driver in the world & she works everyday for them...

This office is the reason Hertz was in trouble, prior to the pandemic. Unprepared and unprofessional. Just a complete lazy atmosphere.

Reservation was made for Monday at 8am. The car was given to me at 10am! I waited for 2hrs, then it was a different class than reserved. My reservation was for a Malibu or similar and they gave me a Corolla. I asked to be given what my reservation was for and both the lady at the front and the manager said this is what we have you can take it or come back tomorrow and maybe we will have something. She stated a reservation doesnt mean youll get a car. Called customer service and they said they couldnt do anything. So my question is why reserve a car if it doesnt guarantee a car??? Horrible place. Maybe service would be better if you were having your car repaired by the owners body shop.

Horrible place to deal with and the woman works there is rude and not professional, I came in the morning and she told me if you dont have reservation there is no car available, I made a reservation online afternoon and got confirmation email. I went there and there was a customer(couple) on front of me, that she gave them a car, when I show her my reservation letter she informed me she doesnt have a car and she just left and got out of the office while I was talking, she is rude and that was disrespectful.It was wast of time and money. I recommend trying somewhere else.

Extremely unfortunate experience. I had a reservation and it still took 40 minutes for the staff to get our rental out to us. Not sure why this happened….?

Everything went smoothly with my reservation. Demary(?) was very helpful and friendly. She apologized that they werd short on inventory, so I couldnt get the same model as my car, but was given a comparable alternate.

This place was awsome, the absolute best staff ever. I highly recommend hertz

We had great service here!All the employees are very helpful. They got us the rental very promptly, the car was clean and they were entirely professional with the process.We asked to swap the rental car out for another comparable vehicle because we had to take a trip and we wanted cruise control. Miranda told us to call back, she got us a 2019 model, and we were able to switch the cars out by the end of the week!We were very satisfied with this location.

Been renting here for years....🙂 The staff has always been great. Everyone from Irene, Pisces, Jason, John and earlier staff Swat & Chris.Im sure Ive missed a few whove helped me... Never had a bad experience... they will always try to do whats best for you.If you need a ride...they got you. My first choice for a rental. 🙂

They didnt have a corolla for me but was nice enough of the manager to try and look for one. Really nice staffs. Recommended.

The staff is horrible i reserved a midsizeand they dropped off a gas guzzling van. The staff is very rude when I called the gal on phone was rude trying to over talk me than started crying when I wanted to know how I can reserve a midsized and it not being available than ut continues all the way to when they delivered the vehicle pass poor service never will use this location again

I searched everywhere for the best rate and found it here! I was able to pick up my rental on my lunch break, the staff was fast, friendly and offered me the best rate available. This is the only place I’ll go now!

Drove 30 minutes for a car reservation I had made. Once I got there they informed me they had no cars available. They were all reserved for insurance claims. Waste of time and money. Next time call before making someone drive out there. Dont waste your time here.

Irene goes above and beyond! Not only am I a AAA member, I am also a Hertz Gold member (free with being a AAA membership). After the first initial booking signing up with Hertz Gold, my vehicle is ready and she waiting for me with key in hand. To me its a VIP experience, no wait, even if there was a line...you just mention youre a Hertz Gold and before you know it, your vehicle is ready! Thank you CLOVIS Hertz! Great team to work with!

Rented a car from Hertz and was pleased with how easy the rental process was and Impressed with the staffs professionalism.

I walked all the way there to pick up a rental. They wouldnt accept my credit card because it was not updated to say credit on there. I tried to show the woman proof it was credit, she would not accept nor help me find a solution. Couldnt fight tears as this was my only means of transportation while my car is in the shop. Only got a half assed sorry and no other help. I cried the whole 45 minute walk home. Dont give your business to a place that makes people cry.
