My 10 year old loved running grandentry flags

I arrived at Clovis Rodeo grounds very early to find a good location to take photos. I was not there long before people started to arrive. I had a gentleman stand just in front of me. I had to tell him that he was in front of my camera which I had on my tripod. If he could not see this , he wasnt paying attention. I expected to see more ballons. I didnt stay long after the first two ballons lifted off.

This is the location of one of the more interesting events held in the Clovis area. For most of the year, its easy to forget that it is here

The Clovis Rodeo was amazing. The food was great. The garlic fries where amazing. Most of all the people that were they where so friendly. I would like to Thank Everyone that took the time to make sure everyone that went had a great time. Clovis Thank you God Bless everyone that helped put it on it was just what we needed. Great experience. We will go every year from now on. Even with a pandemic going on they were so organized and all the employees were helpful. The food venders were very affordable and delicious. The cowboys put on an exciting show.

Clovis put up such a great show along with PBR as usual. The best local getaway in the valley. Great for the kids and family orientated. The barrel of a clown kept the fans entertained throughout the show. The kids loved him. It was time, thank you CLOVIS.

I try to go every year. Always a good crowd and good competitors. This year being Covid made it smaller with less kiosks but the beer was still cold and there was still whiskey.

I would of wish that the HOT AIR BALLOONS WOULD BE LATER ON NOT THAT EARLY I WANTED TO GO SEE THEM SO BAD

Awesome place, a lot of fun. Unfortunately the hot airballoons didnt went up do to the weather forecast. They test just one but it was taken down due to safety reasons. We will go next year! I recommend you to go on the first day on the launch.

Went to see the Hot Air Balloons go up. Been going for 5 yrs. This year we got there be for 6am and couldnt find parking. So many people and very few Balloons.😞

I dont k know what I was expecting. I came for a Step Up for Down Syndrome event since my daughter has Down Syndrome. I expected information to be available to special needs parents about different disabilities. There was only one booth. I really didnt see a great crowd. I hardly am able to attend functions with special needs because I work. Usually everything that is held is during my working hours. I was excited to attend to show my daughter I dont know what. I guess my expectations were to high and I imagined something else in my mind. But I do appreciate functions like this to be held in the weekends or in the evenings. This one was on a weekend.

Awesome rodeo!

They charges us for tickets and then said we needed to be CV tested but the tent they had set up for that ran out of test and my children never got to see the show.

It was a surprisingly fun event even though Im not into bull riding.A friend invited me out and we had a good time watching the bull riders. I suggest if youre going to be on the concrete seats to bring a blanket to sit on.Great event for a date, kinda loud but still just enough pauses in the event to have a good conversation.Great event for a family as well as there is beer sold on site but no harsh language and good entertainment and interaction for the kidsIf you get there early enough you can find parking in old Town Clovis.

My family and I attended a Boy Scout Eagle Court of Honor at this venue. If you like a simple, roomy location for a large gathering, this is one of those places! Parking? No worries! There is TONS of parking space! Room itself is large enough to have dinner and dancing. There is a nice bar, kitchen, and restroom facilities. Certainly worth checking out for your next gathering!

Ive never been to the actual rodeo, but I go when they have events. The area is nice and they have all kinds of vendors. If you just want a soda or water tho, just go inside, its cheaper than getting it from one of the trucks. A lot of the vendors use that Square payment thing, or some equivalent, so you dont dont always have to have cash on you. There are always events in Old Town Clovis, and the ones they have here are just as nice as the ones they have on the street.

Fun place to take your family. Always love the concerts and the rodeo grounds albeit it is small, it is still entertaining to walk around. The crowd gets a little rowdy as the sun goes down but, that is sometimes the best part of the whole experience.

This was My wife and I, first time ever coming to Clovis Rodeo and we are planning to come every year now. Count us in for that !!!We both had a wonderful and fun time, you have to come.Lots things happen for the family AWESOME 😍😍

One of my favorite places for me to hide from my kids. People are always down to earth and really respectful.

What can I say? I live in Northern California and havent missed the Clovis Rodeo in 18 years! Plus the tri tip sandwiches are the best.

Smelly, dusty, urban cowboys and cowgirls annual hangout excuse for drinking more of the same cheap beer.Not much to do or see if youre not into ranching, riding horses, teasing bulls for fun, listening to country music, or drinking beer to get drunk for no good reason in a broad day light.We went to support a great cause (wearing pink!) but the venue seemed to have lost the idea in attempt to highlight its sponsor/advertiser Coors and other happy hour drinking stocks suppliers. A timidly staged country music band trying to cover some familiar tunes was cutting it; no one seemed to care or stopped to look at them playing live.The venue can use some better management, upgraded benches, and paved parking lots without all that dirt laced in with scattered horse manure.

Amazing experience! A must-go event! My kids also had a blast!

First time going to the rodeo, and certainly not my last time. It was fun and amazing. We watched the bull riding and saw a concert. I will be there every year from now on, definitely worth the money.

Born and raised in Clovis and the Clovis Rodeo is a great tradition I will continue until the day I die. Its a weekend of fun for all ages. Thursday - Sunday

Very clean and nice area people were friendly.

The banquet hall is very basic but can meet the needs of a huge gathering. This is also true of the outside party area. Many possibilities are available with this site. Restrooms are in a separate building but not far away

The Clovis Rodeo is such a special place for my kiddo. He loves to pretend hes a cowboy so dressing up as one and going the rodeo is a great past time of his.

Open ground for local event. My girlfriend and I were there on Nov 6, which was a flea market event. The event gathers a body of local, talented DIY artists/vendors. Beautiful to see, relaxing and family friendly atmosphere.

So much fun my first rodeo it was great very family friendly!

Balloon Festival was awesome. Was my first time and I will definitely make it next year.

It is so fun but if you want the animals to win sometimes it is just sad. It is also really really hot mainly so that really is super annoying.

Clovis is a nice little town I had a great time at the high school rodeo I have a old cowboy friend who won Clovis Rodeo back in the days he was a bull rider his name is Charlie Sampson 1982 World Champion bull rider

Pumpkin patch event was great and fun for families to get together and enjoy it with their kids.

Parking was good and local police did an excellent job of directing traffic around the 5k walk/run

It is what it needs to be. Grounds are pretty well upkept and it always feels comfortable and safe. It is a bit outdated but over all very nice.

This space is nothing exceptional. Some stands, some parking area, some concession areas, and some back office areas.
