Nice easy day of river rafting. Same comparison as skiing in MN Vs out west :) Guides were great and very helpful. Owner helped with our Scout who experienced a seizure while waiting to get started and got paramedics there quickly. Bus ride back was little cramped as there is no way you are getting 3 adults per seat in the short bus so 7 of us opted to stand for 13 min drive.

This trip was awesome! Minnesota Whitewater is a small family-owned and operated company and our whole experience was great from start to finish. The owner and river guides were so friendly, safety-oriented, and knowledgeable. For $48/person, it was dirt cheap for the amount of fun we had, and well worth every cent. Our group of four did the Lower St. Louis (river levels are lower this summer) over 2 hours and it was some serious whitewater fun. Giant swells, big drops, tons of rapids, and a great break for some swimming and relaxing on a calm stretch of river! I would recommend this trip for anyone looking for a scenic, action-packed whitewater adventure.

We went rafting for a friends birthday this past weekend. We had a group of (12) people so (2) boats. We had a fabulous time. The guides made the experience unique, personable and fun!The river is beautiful, and you get a good mix of being able to enjoy the scenery while floating along and a sense of thrill down the rapids. :)I would HIGHLY recommend Minnesota Whitewater Rafting!!!

They have added a rope course and they allowed my daughter to go as part of a field trip! She had an awesome time!! They paid attention to what was going on and were ready to help as needed.Lilly had NEVER done anything like this before! So proud of her! They have three tiers you can climb and different ways to get down. Fun way to spend an afternoon!Would put up a video but cant here.

Very fun!! Whitewater rafting is definitely an experience I won’t soon forget. My girlfriend and I went with a group of about 18 other individuals. Definitely enjoyed the rapids and it made me wish I stretched alittle bit more before embarking on the St. Louis river.

FAST IS FUN - WHITEWATER RAFTING!Friday afternoon Kathy and I checked Whitewater Rafting off our bucket lists! And we didnt fall out of the boat! 🤣WE LOVED the 3-hour trip - through 6 sets of rapids - down the St. Louis River, starting at Scanlon, MN - Just south of Duluth - It was outstanding! The weather was beautiful and the water was 72 degrees! WILL DO IT AGAIN!

Loved this experience and cant wait to go back! I would recommend this company to anyone. The staff is professional and friendly and safety is their number one concern. We had whitewater rafted in Colorado and got thrown from our raft twice. We were leery to try it again but read the reviews and decided to give it a try with MN Whitewater Rafting. We are so glad we did! Our guide, Craig, did an excellent job of instructing us and the rapids were impressive. It was just right for our family!

Watch out for that waterfall, its a doosie! Had a great time on the river. Much harder rapids then when we rafted in Montana. Great Minnesota rafting, would highly recommend.

They made everyone feel pretty comfortable and I loved that they gave us heads ups about everything we were doing and about to be doing. The staff here is incredible!!! They know the rover inside and out and are always willing to answer any questions you may have. The trip was fun and everyone had a smile on their face the entire time. If you are looking for something to do and support a local company at the same time, this is the place for you!

Great guides! The whole operation is well run and organized. It was fun to see the young guides interact with the crusty old river dog in the kayak (Blu). I highly recommend doing this. Its tons of fun.

I was able to be lucky enough to partake in the first voyage of the season down the river. Water was a bit cold, but the wetsuits and gear most definitely helped out.The staff was AWESOME!! I would highly recommend taking a day to experience what this business has to offer Minnesota!

Very friendly family that loves the St Louis River! Awesome time, a couple intense rapids, and tons of fun! I will be going back.. Maybe next time when its warmer! Make reservations in advance because it can be busy during peak season.

I had no idea there was a place like this in MN. It was a great way to try it out for future trips out west. A lot of fun and a great experience.

I had one of the best times of my life, enjoying the day at Minnesota Whitewater Rafting. The instructor taught us everything we needed to know and we felt safe the entire time! We were at the DECC for Human and Health Service Conference, and my small team of 5 people thought whitewater rafting would be a great exercise for the team. The owners were SO friendly! We were a group of Muslim girls that went, and they were very accommadating to what we were wearing and Staph (one of the owners) get us situated with our life-jackets, helmets, and warm jackets. Erin and Chris were amazing out in the water with us. They answered all our questions, and guided us SO well. We cant wait to do this again. My team and I had a really good time.

I contacted four different Whitewater Outfitters before getting in touch with Blu at MWR. I am an avid whitewater Kayaker but was not able to travel with my boat, or paddle from Ohio. Three of the Outfitters didnt have boats or paddles to rent for Whitewater and the one outfitter that did, I thankfully did not end up using because I was late to show up. I found out a few days later that I could have gotten killed if I had actually made it on time that day. I asked the owner of that particular Whitewater Outfitter about undercut rocks, sieves or entrapment hazards on the river and he told me there were none and I didnt need a guide to steer me through danger spots. I later found out from Blu that there were three very deadly hazards on that particular River. Who knows what would have happened had I not ran out of gas that morning and made it on time to navigate the River by myself.After the first couple of minutes on the phone with Blu Bong at MWR I knew that this was the man I had been looking for and we ended up meeting that evening and makeing a stellar run down the Saint Louis. He is seasoned whitewater guide with a impeccable safety record, and hes a really cool cucumber. If theyre not the best Whitewater Outfitters in Minnesota they are definitely one of the best.You cant go wrong if you hit up Blu Bong at MWR for a trip down the St Louis in Northern Minnesota. Much love Blu...
