This management company is very difficult to contact. Questions go unanswered, no email, no return phone call, even after submitting a rental application it was impossible to find out if there were wait lists or if my application had been received at all. About a year went by before I received any form of communication from them. They had an available unit and my name had came to the top of a wait list, I was never made aware that I was on a list. The rental process seemed very rushed as if they expected me to drop everything, move out of the apartment I had found, and sign the lease immediately. I decided to not rent with them due to the way they treat people. They did contact me one final time, by letter, to inform me that the unit was rented and my name would be removed from their wait list. They did thank me for my interest in their closing remarks. It was first respectful and professional response I got from D.W. Jones. It would be great if they could respond to prospective tenants in a timely manner and to give people plenty of prior notice if they are going to be the next person offered an apartment.
