Always been 100% happy with Windsor. My first purchase was a Howard Miller mantle clock in 93, and Ive purchase two additional Millers since. Purchased a few watch bands through the years, as well as many batteries replaced. Service is always quick and friendly. Purchased my first (Citizen) watch last week and extremely happy with the price. It was $50 less than Citizens own site. I could have got it for $40 less on Amazon, but Id rather support a local business, as well as have someone local who cares if I have a problem.

Has anyone ever needed to take a link out of a watch they own? I visited multiple locations between the malls and jewelry stores with no luck. However I was finally sent to go visit Phil at Windsor Clock & Watch. It was an awesome experience! He was quick with the links and couldn’t be a friendlier guy to have a chat with. Definitely would recommend this as the go-to place for any watch maintenance/upkeep needed on your pieces.Thanks Phil for being my new watch guy!!

Very friendly and professional. The dynamic of Customer dedication is awesome and appreciated. I searched several places to have a link added to my designer wood watch and failed to find someone that could do the job. Windsor Clock & Watch, added the link in no time. Their website says they repair Citizen watches, but I took mine in and the person working said he wasnt very familiar with the brand, and the person who is wasnt in. I was also told they wouldnt repair mine because it is a perpetual calendar model; apparently, these have a circuit board and that makes the a pain (their words) to fix.They suggested I just send the watch in to Citizen for repairs instead. This is what Id hoped to avoid, as the turn around for that is several weeks. Why say you can repair this brand if thats not true?

My mom had recommended Windsor Clock & Watch to me previously as an outstanding local Des Moines business. So when my trusty Timex watch broke, I decided to check them out and am very thankful that I did! The customer service is phenomenal, and the shop itself is so much fun to explore (the grandfather clocks on display are gorgeous). Had an old grandmother clock that my dad made when he was in high school in the 70s that hasnt worked for years. I was recently given the clock and had the guys at Windsor take a look. They were able to get it running again and it is working great. I would highly recommend this company!!

Wonderful people and service. I know the shop because i bought my Citizen watch there. The service was excellent and very competent, yet friendly and honest. Today I went in get a pin for my Polar sport watch and wanted to pay for it. The owner said “you don’t owe me anything. If it doesn’t fit just come back with the buckle and we’ll get it fixed for you. That’s why I prefer to buy local instead of shopping online. Thanks and I highly recommend the place.

My father and I took a mantel clock and a wall clock with parts and the knowledge of what needed to be repaired. The woman that wrote down the information and took the parts was very knowledgeable but also very short with us and wouldnt listen to what my father was telling her was broke, she knew everything and said they would take care of it and that was about it. The clocks came back and run beautifully, but the mantel clock which had the parts that attach to a broken shaft can now only be fine tuned from the pendulum in the back of the clock instead of from the front, and the parts for the front adjustment werent returned nor found. When I talked to the initial lady, the parts arent needed you can adjust it from the back. Not quite expected when told what was broke and parts given. They did do a great job cleaning and getting the clocks running.

Great Service. Went in to get some batteries changed out in a couple of watches and ended up buying a new one. You could always try and shop on line but nothing compares to the personal shopping experience. I would rather give my money to a great local business who cares about the customer experience and do business with someone who will take care of you service wise after the sale without hesitation.

Trisha is amazing to work with. You can tell she understands her stuff when it comes to coo coo clocks and grandfather/grandmother clocks by a brief conversation. I grew up with a grandpa who made these clocks! She also saved me and my vehicle today- my battery died and she had jumper cables handy and knew just want to do! This place is truly a hidden gem.

I stopped by the store with a clock that had a loose hour hand. I was greeted by a very pleasant lady who fixed my clock in a just few minutes. When I offered to pay her for the repair she waved me off and thanked me for stopping in. Great service!

Took my dads watch in have the battery replaced saw that they would clean it tune it for just a little more. I am so pleased!! I have a few Citizen watches from this place that I really like. Great quality watch brand with the echo drive feature (no batteries required!) at a midrange price point. My favorite purchase from Windsor Clock and Watch, however, is my contemporary Grandfather Clock. It is sleek and beautiful. Love it!

The fellow that works here is just wonderful! He is helpful and has great customer service. He has helped me with my watch a couple times and I know I will not take it any place else if I ever need anything repaired or a battery replaced! Prices are also very reasonable

My watch, a Victorianox Chronograph, had its stopwatch function out of calibration, and one of my straps had fallen off. Windsor clock got me fixed up quick.Windsor Clock has my business, and I’m sure I will continue to return.

I had recently replaced a battery on my Skagen watch at another jewelry store. The store and multiple others could not get their press to get the back on again on my watch. The gentleman here was able to do it in minutes. Very pleased with his customer service!

I always get my watch batteries done here and they are fast and affordable. Last week I dropped my watch on the floor taking it off and the band pins popped out. I stopped in and they fixed it for NO CHARGE! Great customer service, appreciate it.

One of the best store I have ever worked with. I took my clock in there, and she(tish) had it working in nothing flat. I took it home and called back and she walked me through how to set it up. For free!! I felt kinda guilty i even bought a small clock, just as a way of saying thanks. If I was a young man, I would learn the business -just to get a job there. I took my Herman Miller wall clock in for repair. The staff was professional, timely, and courteous. Price was very fair. In addition I got the battery in my watch replaced. The store also has a nice selection of clocks and watches if you are in the market for a new one. Highly recommend.

I just stopped in over lunch to see if they could tell me how to get my Carvelle watch working again. The back doesnt come off and all stores in the area that sell the watch couldnt help. The employee took the watch, used a specific tool to open it, replaced the battery, reset it and I was out of there with a working watch for $10 in 7 minutes!!! Great, fast, friendly service!

This is a beautiful store with a range of clocks and watches. Many Grandfather and wall clocks to pick from. The staff is very friendly. They were able to track down original parts for and fix an old wall clock found at a garage sale. Nice work, would definitely recommend for any repair work you need done.

Horrible experience the younger surfer looking dude I had him service my watch batteries he said theres 2 batteries I said ok is it the same price for each? He says yes . I replied well let me ask you this would it bother you if I said just do one and when you got done to go ahead and do the other ? He handed me my watch and said just take it some place else . I was making a point and your only as good as your customer service (get a sense of humor)Ill be taking my watches to park jewelers on se 9th st from now on.

I took my grandmothers Linden mantle clock in for repair. It had been years since anyone had looked at the clock. The clock was running but not consistently. Phil (Windsor Clocks) advised over the phone it probably just needed a good cleaning and gears oiled, however, he would like to see it first before he would feel comfortable giving that information out. He also let me know that the there would be no cost for him to look at the clock. I took the clock in and he let me know that it would be about 10 days before he would get to the clock and I said that was fine. 8-10 days later, he called to let me know that it does need cleaning and some repair and provided me with an estimate. I gave him the approval to go ahead and clean/fix the clock. He let me know that it would be 3-4 weeks to complete the work. I agree that it was fine. He called to let me know that he had ran into some issues with the repair and he would have to order parts from Germany and the cost would increase, however, he had cleaned and oiled the clock and the clock was still not running consistently. I said at this time, I needed to wait on the repairs as they were a little more than I wanted to spend right now. To my surprise, Phil told me that he honors his estimates for a year and also he was not charging me for the work he had put into the clock. I offered to pay for the work that he had done, he insisted that he hadnt completed the work and he would not accept payment. In this day, that type of customer service is rare and greatly appreciated. As this is a family clock, I appreciated him handling it as if it was his own clock. When I picked my clock up, I noticed a sign that indicated that they were moving as there current location may have some possible changes. Their new location is going to be even closer to my home at the corner of 100th and Swanson under the clock at the strip mall across from Willis. I was pleased with the customer service and when promised a time, they were professional and followed up with me every step of the way! Good luck on your move!
