I purchased a zero turn from here a few years ago. I sent it there to get a tune up and have a tire fixed. They didnt call me or give me any heads up as to what the cost would be, and I specifically asked them to. They just brought it back and handed me a bill for over $380.00! When I spoke to the service manager he said well thats what we charge . Terrible service. They didnt even fix the tire I asked them to.

Worst customer service ever! When l ordered parts on July 21, l was told could be up to 7 days, no problem there. I called to check in on July 26, was told my parts had not arrived. Again, no problem, hadnt been 7 days. Called back on Aug 5, as it was over 2 weeks, was told it STILL was not in. I was understandably upset, let them know l would pick up the parts when they came in, but would not be doing business with them in the future. Got a message 5 minutes later saying the parts had been in since July 23, saying that had called be then(my phone logs show no calls that day, none.) So they never called me, and the 2 times l called, they erroneously told me both times the parts were not in. Went on to pick up the parts, was treated rudely by JJ, so l asked another member of the team what had happened. He argued with me for over a minute until l showed him my phone logs, and then he FINALLY apoligized(all l was looking for.) Bottom line, my parts sat in the store on the shelf for 13 days after they came in, they never called, and the 2 times l called they couldnt even find them. And they didnt even seem to care. Will never be back.

I really appreciate the crew at Clive Power Equipment. I had a truck mounted air compressor fail in the middle of a job. They had it torn down and inspected in an hour. New parts were shipped in next day. I will be sending all of my small engine business over here. Thanks folks!

December 12 of this year (2020) we had one of those wet heavy snow storms that I dread. I was over my old snowblower. Started researching and decided that Toro was the brand that I needed. I was set on a two stage 24 beast. Monday morning I called and spoke to Clive Power, explained that Im in my mid 50s and while I need something that will do the end of the driveway when the city plows go by - I dont want something thats dragging me around the driveway. They immediately said that they had a better option. Lighter and $150 cheaper. I went in, looked at the one I wanted and the one they suggested. I quickly realized that they were right! Its a single stage but its powerful. This past Monday I was able to put it to use on 7 of snow. It works great! The slide bar is slick to control the speed that I need, and the joystick - while it takes a middle aged chick some time to get used to - is awesome to move the shute around. It throws the snow as far as I need (with a 3 card driveway) and it chewed threw the 20 of snow that was left at the end of my driveway. These guys did a great job. I highly recommend Clive Power (Will) and this Toro blower (pictures attached)!.

Horrible Customer service especially from there service department. When I picked up my mower from them I walk in the door and I immediately get a attitude from an employee checking me out. After I left the store I called to ask some questions about my repairs that I didn’t ask while I was there, and the same guy answered. he began to blame me for the issues on my mower instead of answering my questions and then hung up on me! If you need service work done I would avoid this place, very unprofessional people who don’t care about the customer.

I needed a chainsaw, and Ive heard Stihl was one of the best. So I Googled Stihl, and it gave me Clive Power Equipment. My phone connection was a man named Will - so I asked for him when I got there. He remembered me and took me directly to the chain saws. He was very good on the usage directions, but left out one VERY important fact ... this chain saw LEAKS OIL!!!! He told me this after I had paid for it ($300.00+), and we were loading it into my trunk. That item of interest left me very disappointed! However, Stihl is a well known name in power tools, so I think Ill hold onto it. I hope its as good as its reputation.

So far so good. Visited 3 times so far in the last year. Started with helping me order parts for my tractor. Currently operating on my tractor, confident he is in good hands. Pricing out snowblower. . Yep in June. Associate was awesome and answered all questions.

Very frustrating as they have been great in the past. Made a new chain for a snowblower in Feb 2020, now said they couldnt make one. They said they couldnt do a repair that they had done just 2 weeks before. Acted like they never had added a link to a chain when they had just 2 weeks ago.

Walked in to buy a Toro snowblower and the sales guy was extremely helpful. Also, got to love the fact that they put it together, tune and test, and even deliver it to you! Sure beats the big box stores where you are on your own.

Im a new home owner and just purchased my first riding lawn mower a couple weeks ago and am very inexperience with the maintenance and repairs. When I went to mow my lawn the other day, to my surprise the mower would start up, but wouldnt drive. Being a millennial, I had no idea what the issue was. I called them that day and they had someone out very quickly and made the repairs at my house, all at a VERY FAIR AND REASONABLE PRICE. Lawn mower had gas coming out of the bottom of the engine and air filter. I took it into Clive Power Equipment for repair. They suggested they would need to fix the carburetor and it’d take around five days which I thought was fair. They called me 24 hours later that the mower was done. The mower needed a new carburetor and they also replaced the air filter for $106 which seemed rather high but I just wanted to mower to work. Got home and the mower wouldn’t start, I thought maybe the drive home shook it up so I tried again in the morning and it still wouldn’t start. Took it back in on a Saturday and they said they’d get to it first thing Monday morning. They called Monday afternoon and the employee told me that the reason the mower wouldn’t start was because the bag wasn’t on it. Huh? I repeated it and the employee confirmed that the bag needs to be on the mower in order for the mower to start. I told him that I don’t even have the bag for the mower and have never used it. Anyway, I go into pick it up and I ask again what was wrong with it and they said the same thing that the mower needed to have the bag on it in order for it to start which really confused me since I’ve never used the bag. Anyway I was ready to leave and they said I owed $9 because they needed to replace the spark plug. I asked why it wasn’t found the first time I had it in but they didn’t know. I’m on the fence with this company. At first I was highly impressed with the turnaround time of 24 hours and was prepared to bring in my backup mower and snow blower for maintenance but I’m not sure I trust them. They were pretty friendly and maybe they could have explained the whole bag on the mower.

I was looking for a part to an older piece of equipment (snow blower) and they didnt have it. But the service people gave helpful suggestions on dealing with the problem. They are a good resource.

Took my snowblower in to get repaired as my engine was backfiring. The man who assisted me when I brought in my snowblower said if the cost to repair would be anything higher than $140, we will call you to approve the charges. If not, we automatically fix the item. First, it took 3 months to order a new carburetor. The bill was $191 when I came to pick it up. I told the guy what the service specialist told me when I brought it in, and he said no the notes say we told you $175. They reduced the bill $7.00 for me. This business is a bunch of CROOKS that nickel and dime you. I will never bring any equipment in here again and would NOT recommend them to anyone. Unless you want to get screwed over and deal with a bunch of liars.

There always seems to be quite a few folks in and out of this place. The staff his friendly. They always have the parts that I need or get them in rather quickly. Have been utilizing their service for the past two years.

Maxed out my estimate. made unauthorized repairs. had to re-repair theirs. failed to repair my requests. I found part in seconds they said could not be found. will never return.brought in older lawn tractor. needed 1 tire repair, replace throttle cable, replace all fluids and filters, replace pin in mower deck lift arm. we decided $500 as max estimate. came back and bill was $505. tire repair: done. replaced throttle cable but did not route it as original. every time I lift hood it fell out and I had to tuck it back in to lower hood so I had to redo the cable. fluids and filters done. pin for mower deck lift arm not done. excuse was could not find one. I found several on several different websites inside of 2 minutes. not repaired. finally for some reason they purchased and installed new mower blades. I did not need nor asked for them. I have 3 sets. gave me some lame and entertaining reason for their replacement. unauthorized repair. still all this should not have cost $505. again, I will never return.

I broke the pull cord (pull starter) on my 3 year old push mower. When I dropped it off at their store (5/8) I agreed with their advisor it was probably due for a service (oil change, sharpen blades, spark plug). They told me they were 7-10 days out, which worked for my schedule as I would be out of town the next week.I called on the 17th, they were short with me. No its done yet, no we dont know when it will be. Figured Id give them another day before I call back.Similar story when I called back on day 10, but this time they told me they are now scheduling 3 weeks out, do to a high volume of Commercial customers coming in. He explained they get those through quicker because they need them for their jobs. I get that, but I got really frustrated when I told him Well... I need mine to which he replied- its not going to be done for awhile, you need to swallow your pride and go borrow one.Called back on the two other times with no urgency to move it forward. Keep in mind, its for a pull cord and a service... its not an engine rebuilt, no major mechanical issues. Finally on day 17 I got it back after getting a manager on the phone... he called me back a few hours later and it was done.The icing on the cake was when the cashier candidly said by the way your quote is higher now because the pull starter was more expensive than I initially thought... it just is what it isSlow. Rude. Unprofessional.

Just bought a MS 251 CB-E. The entire experience could not have gone better. My wife and I were shown all of the features, and when we decided well take it, it was topped off with fuel and bar oil, we were shown the proper way to adjust the chain, start it, and then our bar and chain was broken in for us with a short break-in process. At the counter we got half off a new replacement chain, our warranty doubled, and because I am a veteran, they took $15 off the price of the saw.I will be giving this place all of my future business, and will recommend them to everyone in the market for anything Stihl.

Used to patron for years. They do have a knowledgeable staff and good selection. Love Toro,Exmark, Stihl brands. However been told one too many times one thing on the phone and when I get there it would be something else. The thing that threw me over the edge was when I had a piece of equipment I bought from them and it broke and it was down for more than 5 days. The no downtime garuantee didnt apply however and they told me I could rent a mower from them. Ive given them chances to make it right and them have yet to earn my business again.

Unfortunately the service was lengthy. The low rating is not because the repair took 4 weeks. The low rating is because I was told I would be called the same day with info about the problem. Well, no calls and when I called a week later, the employee said we dont call with updates So, I had to call every 5 days to see if there was any progress. Pretty poor customer service.

They were able to diagnose and repair one of my yard care machines quickly (2-3 days including the weekend) and well below the worst case price quoted at the time of drop off.
