The Clinton Center is very nice, clean and convenient with great equipment and opened 24/7! The Staff is very courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. The trainer Cameron is one of the best trainers I’ve worked with. He is very knowledgeable, patient, encouraging and professional! He conducts great classes and instructions are clear! I LOVE this center!

Great environment, always clean, and excellent staff. This Planet Fitness is one of the best ones Ive visited. The staff is very warm and helpful. The environment is peaceful and there are always machines open. If youre looking for a gym in the area, this is the one to become a member of!!

Great and friendly staff that keep the facility extremely clean. Plenty of equipment and machines are rarely out of order. The only issue is with some of the members. Some of the members will sit on machines and do nothing for extended periods of time and some people refuse to return equipment after they use it. Great gym for general fitness!

Clean, spacious, newer facility w/ample machines and large stretching/rope area. Staff cordial and helpful. Adequate cool A.C.Tanning beds, infrared therapy, hydro massage beds, and chair massages for Black Card Members. No hydro massage lounge chairs.Ample storage lockers both in the restrooms and outside near stretching area.Masks recommended. Times Ive visited, approx 80% of patrons were wearing them. Machines pretty close together (especially stationary bikes) and noticing fewer Social Fitnessing placards. But strong machine cleaning protocols. Everyone seems cordial and focused. Good vibes.

I workout early mornings (5-8). Club is kept clean and the employees are responsive to issues. Any damaged equipment is normally fixed in a reasonable amount of time.

I forget the one brothers name every time I come hes so helpful nice but hes always there during the daytime in the mornings mid-afternoon you ladies to very nice never had an issue if I needed something the one but the one brother that Im talkin about I wish I knew his name but hes good dude

This planet fitness is very clean, the staff is very helpful and professional. I love the classes and there are plenty of machines.

What I like about planet fitness is the accessibility and overall cleanliness. Im a black card holder, its convenient to be able to go to any PF location. The staff here are a mixed batch. Some are very respectful and knowledgeable. Others, I think, are too new and are unable to articulate why being a PF member is a great choice.Side Note to Consider:Im a pretty busy person and I like to structure my schedule around non crowded times. Monday through Saturday the cleaning staff comes at 11. Sunday they come in early at 9 and rotate what machines they are cleaning.I didnt know this when I came Sunday. A spot I generally choose was unavailable for the rest of the night. When I asked the staff an appropriate of when the cleaning staff would be done, she instantly got defensive and spoke to me about COVID cleanliness concerns. I respected her and let her finished talking. I let her know that as a paying member, cleaning times should be listed so customers can avoid coming at those times.

The picture they have posted indicates they’re using a cleanser that resembles Lysol but I’ve never seen it in the facility I only see some watered down pink solution. I don’t trust that they actually clean the equipment so I always carry my own lysol in a small spray bottled container to disinfect before using the machine.

Its clean and not too crowded when I arrive. The guests seem to also clean behind themselves as well as the staff making sure thing are sanitized. Right now during this pandemic that is the most important thing for me and my family to feel comfortable.

The minute I walked in I could tell & feel the cleanliness also on top of fact I could see staff periodically walking around wiping down equipment & machines. And at the time i was there it wasn’t bombarded with members so I was able to allow my required distance from other members. Way to go Clinton. PF Landover need to take notes from PF Clinton. Awesome!!!

Its okay Planet Fitness the need to update their machines the really old compared to the other Planet Fitness that Ive been to around the area and then none of the massage machines except for one works in the black car spa need to do better at the Clinton location

Hard work and good eating.

I dont really like working out but this place was a very good place for the 1st time that I went on a Saturday. I went at 10 a.m. and it wasnt that crowded yet and I was able to get a good workout in. The only thing is- I need to learn how to use the machines and what all these buttons do, lol!! I played around with a few buttons and almost like a comedy movie fell off the machine🤣🤣 until I hurriedly switch the buttons to a slower pace.

Good gym. Staff cleans bathrooms daily. Always smells fresh. Front desk attendant not always too attentive to members when walking up could be better.

Ive just recently returned to fitness, so I wasnt sure how the crowd control would be upon my return. I was pleased to see that the cardio area was always available. The app lets me know how crowded the facility is, and I love that I can track my fitness activities as well.

The communication is poor, not professional. I spoke with the guy numerous times. They have been over charging my account since I was a member. If there was an issue I should have been informed from the beginning. Now they are coming up with Bogus lies about why it happened. Pay attention to your account, And contact your bank with inappropriate charges.

I go late like 11pm or so on weekday nights or Friday night and its perfect. No wait for anything. Just a few regulars and anything I want to use is available with no wait.

Planet fitness is excellent, outstanding, divine extraordinarily, exceptionally perfect.

The staff are always very nice and professional. The only thing that really turns me off about coming to Planet Fitness is how the trash is not kept up around the business. This is your business and should take pride of it inside and out!

The staff are always welcoming and pleasant from the moment I walk into the door. The gym is constantly maintained and cleaned throughout to ensure a clean environment. The staff also makes sure members are wearing masks while they are exercising. I’ve considered switching to home workouts due to the pandemic, but will remain with PF Clinton because of the hard work of the staff and the excellent work they do to provide a safe, welcoming area to work out in.

What makes this Planet Fitness better than the rest is their personal trainer, Cameron! I’m new to fitness and the one-on-one personal training has made me comfortable trying new things. Cameron genuinely cares about his clients and wants to ensure they meet their fitness goals. He is patient, attentive, and makes working out rewarding. Not only does he challenge you, but he motivates you along the way. I’m so glad I joined PF!

The water fountain has been broken for weeks now and the only option for refreshments is having to buy it from the employees. A gym without water, crazy!!!

I have just cancelled my membership to this gym. It is incredibly unsanitary and the staff is very uneducated and rude. I would not recommended signing up, it is not worth it.

Don’t believe the hype with the (5) star ratings for this PF location. I heard great things about this location. Today was my first visit at this location and sadly it will be my last. The equipment is outdated compared to some of the other locations and there wasn’t a variety of channels on the TVs while working out, just Entertainment and Sports channels, no news stations were on to keep members informed of what’s going on out here in the world, as the cases continue to rise during the COVID-19 pandemic. The staff came across ghetto and unprofessional, barely greet or speak to members, even when you greet and speak to them. I was there between 4AM-7AM today (12/31/2020). Overall, I give this location (3) stars because the facility was clean and the members came across friendly and focused on their workouts, seems like a nice atmosphere to workout in but the staff brings this location down with their lackluster customer service.

I joined Planet Fitness because I heard great things about the Personal Trainer Eddie. I have been participating in Eddie’s group classes for about 1 year and have not been disappointed. His classes are sometimes challenging, however he still makes it fun and totally worth it. Attending Eddie’s group classes keeps me on track with my workouts and I’ve seen positive results. When you find a great trainer like Eddie you stick with him.

I like the the great customer service, the effort they put into following Covid procedures, the quality and quantity of the exercise equipment, and the cleanliness of the facility.

Having entered a gym in along time, since COVID19 took over, as well as my first time in this facility, I must say, I was very impressed with how clean and neat this gym is. I will definitely be going back!!!!! Thank you for a safe experience!!!

O-K experience but the machines that arent off for social distancing are still broken and dont work. Like we already have less machines and then with the ones that are still broken makes the experience even less helpful. Uugghhh!

The staff is professional. Regulations are being enforced and staff and members are constantly cleaning equipment before and after every use. WellDone. Signed not just a member but an investor in shares.

First time gym goer it was a great experience

I have been a member at this gym since 2018. At that time, I had lost my confidence; and coming to the gym was difficult. The group fitness atmosphere under the leadership of Eddie, the trainer, has helped me tremendously. His patience, commitment to hard work, and encouragement keeps me and so many others coming back. He really knows what he is doing!! I watch how he differentiates the workout so that every member, male and female, is able to be successful. In my years at gyms (over 18 years), I have never seen this. Eddie is a gem to the Clinton location. He makes coming to the gym an enjoyable experience while helping me put in the necessary work to achieve my fitness goals. I tell my family and friends about him and the gym all of the time.

Really nice establishment, staff are friendly, great communication, professional. My entire family comes here either as a member or as my guest.

I have been going to this gym for about 2 years now and I really enjoy going because of Eddie my personal trainer. I love his interactions with the entire class he has helped me get stronger and he pushes me to do better. He has met mother and she loves him. Also, I have referred my coworkers and friends to him. Eddie is the bomb and if it wasn’t for him I probably would not go to the gym everyday like I do now. If he was to Ever leave, I would be crushed!!! I mean my gym experiences wouldn’t be the same without him.

Staff is always nice & gym is clean. Plenty of parking & machines available. Not 5 stars because my stuff always get stuck in locker & have to get someone with a key to open it. I use the same code every time so its not me. Otherwise I love this PF location!

Due to Covid-19, I want to cancel my Planet Fitness membership. I called the club twice, today and appox. 4 to 6 weeks ago. I also called ABC servicing in response to their email requesting payment of $20.00 and was told they were unable to cancel plan and to call club. I called the club again and was given the same HOSTAGE HOLDING message. You must come in person to club and/or send certified letter to cancel. I AM IN THE HIGH RISK CATEGORY FOR COVID-19. I am BLACK and OLD and do not plan to risk contracting the virus by going to public locations which include the club and Post Office. Making it difficult to cancel allows Planet Fitness to continue billing and making money off of a hostage.You would think during these trying times that Planet Fitness would try to be more accommodating. I stopped payment on the account and do not plan to change status.

Overall the gym atmosphere here is amazing. Outside of its rush hour period from about 5-7ish I love this gym. The staff is great especially Trainer Eddie. He keeps me on my toes every time he sees me, and always makes sure Im sticking to my workout plan. You dont find trainers like him just anywhere.

The bathrooms are always in a disarray. It has a odd smell. I dont use the showers, its not the cleanest. See pics. Should be a whole lot cleaner. If you are planning to use the showers, wear shower shoes or something or shower at home. Lol

Good location. Morning staff is very courteous and for the most part the gym provides everything you need to get in a great workout. The bathrooms are clean. My only complaints are 1) cleanliness of the floors: the floors are always full of dust. I see them vacuum the carpets in the lobby but I never see anyone cleaning the main floors. And as someone who loves burpees, I have to switch to use a mat, so my clothes dont get full of dust bunnies when Im done. Which can be inconvenient at times, depending on where I am in the gym when I want to do them. I have to stop and go get a mat/ or deal with all the dirt on the floor. 2) equipment not working: They have equipment not working far too long. Some have been out of service for months at a time, which to me seems a bit unreasonable, especially when you only have 1 or 2 pieces of that particular equipment. Overall, I like the gym, the convenience of the location and the fact its not too crowded in the mornings, so there isnt a lot of waiting for equipment. It gets the job done.

People are on their New Year resolution it looks like because it is packed. If u have a specific machine u might normally use, you may have to wait and try something new because of the social distancing rules not enough machines are available.

Good training classes for the $$, I only go if Eddie B. is there teaching the class. His flexible workouts really helps the diversity of the individuals in the class. He has changed many of folks minds of PF classes.

I switched from the Silver Hill to Clinton location because I was not getting the usage I wanted. I started going to classes/training with the trainer Eddie, who was very personal with the members. I felt as if he created a family environment and held us and had us hold each other accountable. He learned each members name and would even reach out if we missed time at the gym. He gave feedback and allowed input on our health needs and I looked forward to working out. Being in service industry for years, I know that this was clearly above and beyond what he was required to do. I was at the gym on Monday in which a sign was placed on the door that stated classes canceled. I’m sorry, what, no explanation, just a tacky, unprofessional sign. I called to get the number to corporate and was told I had to go through Clinton management. I asked why would I need to do that? The lady stated because it’s going to come back to us anyway. This location really need work in customer service and professionalism. I’m now being told that Eddie was “let go”. Is there a choice I 0 stars, because, that didn’t appear to be an option. Ending this, I would like to say that there are blurry good front desk attendants, however, management itself need to be “let go”.

Absolutely love this gym, everyone is extremely nice and makes sure their members come first. I’ve been working out with the trainer Cameron and let me tell you! He’s amazing! He’s very patient, understanding and truly listens to what you’re concerned about and gives awesome advice of ways to get things done. He’ll pushes you to your limits, but it is sooooo extremely worth it! Don’t be intimidated, give this gym a try and find Cam. You won’t regret it!

This place is the worst gym I have ever been to. Most of the perks they give are unavailable 95% of the time. The people at the front talk down to you and because they use maam ,sir, please, and have a nice day that you wont pick up on the sarcastic tone in there voice. Dont let me get started on management I have never run across a women in management that leaving out for lunch is more important than our concerns. Long story short dont go to this gym there are so many other gyms and they are respectful.

I love the friendly customer service, 24 hour schedule, the option to use any PF location although my home based facility is in walking distance of my home. The only concern and hope this is an idea for the future is to add a sauna or preferably hot steam room. I would even pay extra for that luxury. Then PF would definitely get 5 stars from me.

Lolita and Albert R- the day crew are amazing here! They helped me with my key tag not working and set me up with the planet fitness app! They are the nicest people, they have excellent customer service skills and genuine people skills. They make coming to the gym a better experience with their warm welcoming smile!

I think planet fitness is a clean and friendly environment for all. My one desire is to see my Clinton Maryland location implement free weight Barbell bench press. The benchpress machine makes it difficult to center the bench and ensure you are doing correct form. Having a free weight barbell bench press would also allow one to perform other big compound exercises necessary for foundational strength and size gains.Other than that, I love my gym!

The management in this place is extremely UNPROFESSIONAL! I am a manager at my job and have been in management for over 8 years. I KNOW that customer satisfaction should be your FIRST priority as a manager. I explained to this lady how nasty the shower is in the mens locker room and how they arent like that at any other gym that Ive ever seen. She obviously didnt like me comparing the gym to other gyms that I visit and suggested that if I had a black card I could go somewhere else. I was a guest. My aunt frequents this gym all the time and is considering cancelling her membership because of the way I explained my encounter with the lady manager here. I do NOT recommend using the mens locker room in Clinton as a matter of fact I dont recommend this particular gym at all considering how disrespectful the management is

Very clean and good covid procedures

Very disappointed with the management. I was visiting the area for a weekend and just because i have standard membership they did not allow me to work out unless i pay extra. Its stupid because at the end of the day i am a member and one day of me using the facility which i pay in monthly would not make a big difference. I wouuld not recommend.

I wish this was my local PF. Very clean, spacious, updated machines, set up of machines makes sense, friendly and professional staff, well maintained ladies room. The atmosphere made my workout so easy! So much better then my Waldorf location. Waiting on the upgrade....

Out of all the gyms I have visited , I loved this one. Even though I am not a member, I would like to say that, while I was there everyone was very helpful and I love the staff there. There was one young lady Afiesha who was very helpful, and I appreciate her for how thorough she explained all of the terms and conditions, and information that I needed to know. I do not have a membership yet, because I only wanted information, but this gym is great. keep up the great work.

Its a big club. I am used to using my own lock, but their locks are different. They are re-usable self scramble locks. Neat concept. The Black card Spa club, has more beds, its isolated and its clean and peaceful. Very nice.

Friendly staff! Great experience every time!

The staffs commitment to the members various fitness levels is astonishing to me. They will help and motivate you to accomplish your fitness goals as needed. Coming from a generation where your feelings and emotions were not taken into consideration and if you are willing to put forth the effort then you would be appreciative of any progress made. This is speaks volumes of the company itself. Outside of so many people just babysitting the machines and other equipment ( glued to their electrical devices) I have no complaints whatsoever.

This location stays crowded and the staff does not clean as often as the Planet fitness on Central Ave.

Clean, friendly, and equipment is always free to use it the mornings, never too crowded .The customer service at this location is top notch. Everyone is friendly. My trainer, Cameron, is always there providing the best advice and providing excellent workouts for anyone who wants them. What ever your needs are he has a plan that can work for you.

Great staff!

After a long hiatus of not going to the gym (8 months) my father would come back from the gym raving and ranting how great the new instructor Eddie was. I started attending in late January, and since look foreword to the classes Ed instructs. As a result I have lost 15lbs!Definitely would recommend coming and checking it out!
