Ive been using JDs for multiple years now. They are such a reliable auction house and I have had no issues or complaints. The staff are always friendly and helpful! They are prepared for you ahead of time and they make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible. Big thanks to Team Jelly AKA Jennifer and Kelly for being a great team to work with at our most recent pickup! I will definitely continue to do business with JDs in the future.

I had a very good experience with JDs. It was my first time and I participated in an online-only auction. There were many good photos of the items items I bid on which were mostly consistent with the items in person; there was a slight stain on a rug I purchased that wasnt noticeable in the photos, but its not so bad that Im disappointed. Pick up went quick and smooth as Team Jelly had the item ready for me during my selected pick up time. It would be good if IDs were checked upon pickup, because when you sign up for a time slot all other names of the purchasers are visible along with the time they are coming for pick up. It would be easy to claim to be someone on the list and walk away with their items. Nonetheless, I would use them again and would relish the opportunity to attend an in-person event.

Jennifer, Maggie and Kelly were awesome. Pulled right up to the house and they had my winning bids waiting for me! Super efficient and friendly! They are one of my favorite teams! Great job ladies! A+++++

JD Auctions is my favorite Auction in Knoxville. Though I purchase through many others, I make most of my purchases through JD. As an online reseller, I have to find great prices on items. They always have big lots of stuff I can purchase an go through for amazing prices. I do donate a lot of what I get. But I’m never in the profit hole or disappointed. Their scheduling makes pick up very fast. One time I got a lot of dishes for $3. There was one dish I sold for $50. Wow! Everyone who works at the auctions are so pleasant to talk to. I just love them and they are my main source for sourcing. Keep up the great work.

The entire experience from beginning to end was easy and every person we worked with was incredibly nice, friendly & accommodating. This service was a lifesaver and helped us deal with a difficult situation expeditiously. Ryan was great in getting set up and Kim & Brad were beyond wonderful to work with! Kim kept in touch and was really great about checking in if they found something that looked liked the heirs might want to keep. At the end of the auction, the house is empty which is bittersweet but our ultimate goal. Kim even sent pictures of all the rooms! We could not have asked for a better experience and so appreciate this service and the kind people! I would use JD Auction and Kim & Brad again!

It’s been a BLAST participating in three recent online auctions with JD’s and Team Jelly. Their seamless system of bidding, invoicing and pick-up methods is first class and I do believe I’m hopelessly hooked…. this coming from an avid garage sale/estate sale junkie. Why drive around when I can stay home and bid online?? Team Jelly is professional, friendly and extremely organized! They make pick-up a breeze and are so very accommodating. Over a period of several years, I have participated in many online auctions run by JD Auctions. The pictures posted of the auction items are clear and the descriptions are accurate, the auctions are run transparently and honestly.What I like best about JD Auctions is the teams of people I have met and gotten to know when picking up the items for which I was the successful bidder. In particular, Jolene and Kim are unfailingly helpful, and the customer service they provide often goes way above and beyond even the highest expectations.

I like the fact that once a bid is placed you get an almost instant email and once out bid you do as well. Ive only purchased once through JDs, but I will be watching the auctions more closely now even though their buyers premium is a little higher than some others I feel they try to be honest with the post

Wow! I can not say enough about Kim and Brad with JD Auctions. I was a little apprehensive at first having folks come into our home but Kim and Brad almost immediately became like family. I’ve had the pleasure to speaking with both Jennifer and Natalie who have been very hospitable when I needed additional information in the upmost professional manner. I do appreciate the fact that JD auctions have a actual phone number and it gets answered! Recently, my package was returned to them and they immediately reached out to me. This was the fault of a delivery person who did not attempt to reach me nor leave a notice. Regardless, Natalie was gracious and understood the situation without having an attitude about resending it back to me. I freely admit that I have an auction problem; thus, I’ve dealt with just about every one of the auction company’s in Knoxville. I’ve had great experiences with each, but mine with JD’s are usually the best. I seem to always have the easiest and most pleasant experiences due to their organization and planning, especially when I’ve gotten to deal with Kim, Jolene or Brad. This company is a leader in any type of auction and any item: big, small, old, new, antique, vintage, expensive, inexpensive, not to mention one of a kind items. I always find wonderful treasures- things I need, and things I didn’t even know I need. The business is local and veteran run, giving it that small town family feel, yet they are knowledgeable in their field. Sign up is easy, pick ups are COVID- safe and streamlined by appointment, and there is pretty much always an upcoming auction. I have found the descriptions of the items particularly useful, but you can sign up to preview auctions before you bid as well. All of the staff is friendly and professional, and I especially enjoy Kim’s assistance. Definitely get on the mailing list and in the habit of checking their website, which is always being updated.

Absolutely the worst run auction process I have seen in 30 years of living in East TN. First, horrible process - left people standing in the 90 degree heat for a long period of time because the owner had parked himself blocking the hallway. The owner was hateful to customers - everyone was complaining. Insisted on a process that required one of the helpers get your items - because and I quote you cant just come in and steal things. He literally said that as did one of the helpers - this is to customers that have already paid for their items!! Very defensive and rude group of individuals. Items that said all good had broken pieces, etc. Just felt like a dishonest group from the beginning. I normally love to buy through auctions - and do almost weekly - the pick up process is normally very organized and easy. I can tell you I will certainly stay away from this company in the future. I believe the owner has forgotten who his customers are.

This was my first experience in online bidding and it was enjoyable to say the least. Setting up my account, bidding on the things I wanted, setting up my pickup time and then having all my things brought to me by friendly folks made everything easy. JD’s Auctions are a cut above the usual estate auctions that I have used in the past. Sales are posted on their website days or weeks in advance. Pictures and item descriptions are always spot on. Pick up times are scheduled well and location directions are always accurate. JD’s will even mail your purchases for coin auctions if you live out of the area. I haveNothing but praise for JD and his team!

JD’s Auctions is by far the best online auctions companies I have every used. Their bidding system is great. If you have every had your bid, outbid in the last few seconds, you know what I am talking about. There system will add about 2 minutes to the clock even if there is only 1 second on the clock when your bid is outbid. Their staff has always been helpful, polite and professional to work with. I most definitely give JD’s Auctions a 10 score because they deserve it.

What they show and offer is what you receive. timely, courteous customer relations with help with whatever you need. I participate in 200 + auctions weekly and rate JD auction in the top 3

Like the auction ...I feel the commutations could be better. They have chat on their web site but know ever chats back

The people at the auction site delivered the pieces or showed you where the item was and in some cases helped get them to your truck or trailer. I found the help the best part of the auction. Small items were in boxes or well protected for packing into your are or trailer. in pone case I was getting a very expensive Lab microscope... it was in a cardboard box with packing along with a kids version of a microscope. I added some additional soft packing but it really wasnt necessary.

The only thing that I had was a semi bad experience with one item that I won. It may have been my fault, but the double barrel shotgun that I won I didnt see anything on the web site that said it was a wall hanger. I only realized that when I pick the weapon up and it had a tag on it stating that it was a wall hanger. Like I said it may have been on the web site but if it was I didnt see it, and probably wouldnt have placed a bid.LLoyd
