I don’t want to write anything bad but I guess the picture should just speak for itself. First time going here. Came out with duck nails. I didn’t know how to tell the nail lady because she was very nice and accommodating. I paid $70 for these nails.

It was my first visit this time at Plaza Nail & Shop and I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH! Staffs are very nice and the atmosphere is very warm and safe even in this pandemic. This place was SO CLEAN!!! I had to keep changing my mind to choose the right color but the staff was very patient and helping me to choose the best color. :D And the owner lady was very cute too! Will definitely recommend this place to my friends.

I’m so disappointed bc it was so crowded I thought it was going to be awesome. I have been moisturizing and not cleaning or washing dishes which usually accounts for the peeling. My cousin got her nails done that day too and hers started peeling that day 🤦‍♀️

I had booked my appointment at 5 pm today, I was running a little late so I called and told them. When I got there no one said greeted or attended me. About 10 minutes pass and someone comes in and they get greeted while I am ignored. Few minutes later another lady walks in and gets greeted. I did not feel very welcomed at this place. Not sure why I received this treatment. I waited 25 minutes and no one told me to sit down and wait till someone is free. In the time I spend standing and waiting I managed to find another salon who had an opening so left from here. Very unprofessional behavior. Why even make appointments if you dont even follow them. I will never come here again and make sure to tell everyone to avoid this salon too.

From the second I walked into the door, I was greeted by many friendly smiles! The store is very well prepared and organized in a way that follows the COVID-19 guidelines. I was offered hand sanitizer as they also checked my temperature to ensure that I did not have a fever. Im extremely happy with my acrylic nail set that I got done today as the nail technician did her very best to make sure that I left satisfied today. She was very pleasant and paid attention to small details. The employees all displayed a positive and professional attitude as well. There are so many different colors to choose from here that it took me quite some time to select a color. The store is extremely clean and offers a pleasant and relaxing vibe. Many of my friends recommended this place for me to check out and Im so glad that I did! I will definitely be coming here more often :)

I will not be back for my nails!!! After a week my white gel color turned dark and dirty, 2 nails popped off and a few are lifting. Took literally 2 hours for them to do my nails and just horrible. I asked for coffin shape and got square. Wish I could post pictures. Not to discriminate but you guys need younger ladies working on doing nails. Not happy with my $60 spent - down the drain.

I just went here for the first time on Monday. I really enjoyed the manicure. The salon was very clean, efficient, and the staff were all very nice and the price was awesome. But I’m so sad because my SNS manicure is already starting to chip and peel and it’s only been two days :(

I suggest you ask for prices before you sit down and be very specific on what is that you need and want , unlike me I only ask for a filing , they did the UV Filing, which was taking to long and I had to leave without being finish I was charge $55 !!! , for a service I didn’t ask , what I got from this place is that if you’re new they’ll try to take advantage of you . I called the next morning to find out prices and was told there are 3 types of filing that go from $35, $45, $55 and they did the highest one on me why? , very bad experience but is also on me for not asking

I got gel manicure done last week and I will not go back there ever again! I had a Groupon and the reviews looked good so thought Id give it a try. The lady I had was an older Asian woman and she was so rough. She cut me so bad on the cuticles (see pictures). The quality of the manicure was not good either. Looked like they were a week old since some of them the polish didnt cover the whole nail. Lasted about 3 days before it lifted.

My new go to. Clean, bright and well put together salon. Sarah was lovely. The ladies who did my paraffin pedi and gel mani were thorough and efficient. I will be going back even though I have to drive a little further. Its worth it for good service.... unfortunately, only 4 days later, my thumb polish has chipped on the gel mani. Removing 1 star.

Went here with my daughter because we was told they do great nails. Wronggggg only pedicure was great but the owners and the services were horrible. Tried to do something I didn’t ask for them tried to over charge me then was speaking their language talking about me. Horrible horrible ppl and services never again will I come here . The only ppl tht were nice are the 2 Mexican ladies that did my pedicures 👎

Worst gel manicure I ever had. Didnt even last 4 days. The nail polish discolored and chipped after 4 days. Atmosphere is weird as they talk among themselves in a different language, laughing the whole time I was there. Not a customer friendly environment. Picture: manicure should not look like this after one week.

I went for dip powder manicured i was attended by mia. Very clean nice people but my nails didnt last long on the second day my top coat chip on 2 nails then day 4 . 4 of my nail dip powder crack. Called they wanted to recharge i said no and went somewhere else.! (Cheap )poor nail quality. Two stars mia was really nice and gentle but not again that was my second time and same problem even with gel manicured. Dont last!

Wonderful to get my hands and feet done again! They were very responsible in keeping things sterilized. Mia did a great job on my new gel set. Not sure of my pedicurists name, but she was fabulous also. Will be going back for sure!

Its very hard to find a good nail salon. I heard this place was under new management and decided to give it a shot and Im so happy I did. Their pedicures here are amazing, $20 for a regular pedicure and they add in hot wax on the heels and a hot stone massage. The girls who do the pedicures are so sweet and they take their time and always do an excellent job. For manicures I always go to Sara, I have not tried anyone else but I love Sara. She sticks to her appointment times and is always so thorough, you can tell she is very dedicated to her work. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a new salon in the area.

This is a good place to go for your nails!

I went there to get my nails done gel manicure. The place was so crowded no social distance. The quality of the manicure was really bad from the second day it started to chip and it usually last with me for more than 2 weeks. I am so disappointed.

I love this nail salon. I always go to Sarah, she is the best and is the nicest person always. Place is always clean and the pedicure girls are all very nice.

Staff is AMAZING!! I have been following this shop since Lydia and Daniel were in Hackensack. I live in Paramus and the 20 minute drive is beyond worth it. My girl T.K. is the best but really everyone is welcoming and do a great job.

Stumbled this new nail salon because a month ago i needed a nail salon close by and that opened earlier than most and got a gel manicure and it went great, following state guidelines with covid. went in couple days ago for the gel fill and 3 hours later, polish started chipping and one of my nails broke a bit. Definitely won’t be going back, very disappointing. Called back to get them fixed and they said they would charge me, other salons i’ve been to would fix acrylics if broken. Will be going to another nail salon from now on.

I went in to get a gel refill and the woman that did my nails botched them. As I was leaving, the owner looked at them and told the woman to fix them. As I was leaving the second time, the owner looked at them again and told me to come back the next day and she would fix them. I ended up going back and the owner was not there so the same woman did them again and they turned out even worse the second time! This place is absolutely terrible. Do not recommend at all, I will never go back.

I got the gel manicure and 5 nails chipped within the first week. I went to fix my nails and the lady said she would redo all of them for 15 dollars. I said no and asked them to just fix the nails that are messed up.... two of my nails chipped the NEXT DAY. TERRIBLE I wouldn’t recommend this place

Been here several times and I love this place. Salon is very clean and the staff is very pleasant. Cant get enough of their pedicures with the hot stones, and the massage. Anyone looking for a updated salon with friendly place with skilled nail techs give them a try. They dont over charge either.

Dirty nasty place very bad service

Just got a fill in here for the first time. Great experience. Nails look great. The place is spotless. There is always someone cleaning. The owner sat me down right away to start filing the old polish off while I waited for a tech to be ready. I went to Sonny and she did a wonderful job. There’s no reason not to get your nails done here! 😃

Stumbled upon this place at 6 PM on a Saturday night. Got a gel fill-in from the owner Lydia. She was so sweet to me and took me right away when i walked in. Didn’t try and rush me to pick a color. As it was getting closer to closing, Mia came over and finished my fill and she was just as amazing as Lydia. So pleasant and friendly and reasonably priced $40. Will be going back as a regular customer now

The nail.and spa salon is up and ready! Their place follows the cdc guideline for covid : they install in between chairs a clear like cubicle for each customers, technicians are wearing mask, they check your temperature upon checking in, guest in waiting can wait on their waiting or you can wait inside your car and they will call you and they strictly implement no mask no entry. This salon is my fave spot, their technicians are polite even the owner.

So my nails looked bumpy but i thought it was me so i kept looking at them. The lady kept saying “no no look it fine” and shows me. She did so much layer in the powder. And then i was telling her the lady didn’t paint my toes with gel. She didnt want to listen. Yet again she did the gel layer on top of layer like 5 times. This is not even coffin. Literally looks a lipstick. Never again.

Love this nail salon- it’s a convenient location and one of the few places that don’t overprice for gel manicures. I usually get a combo regular pedicure and gel pedicure and never had a poor experience. The pedicure is well worth the money- they put the hot wax on your heels and use hot stones after the massage- it’s lovely! The staff is always willing to please and they genuinely care about their customers. The salon is super clean and I enjoy coming here for some pampering!

After having a horrible experience at Top Style Nails on Route 3 I came here to see if they could fix it. They treated me so well. They calmed me down they fixed the lumpy mess, reshaped the nails, and put on a beautiful color. The owner gave me a shoulder rub and my technician did an amazing job. I found a new nail home.

Best place for pedicure and manicure

I went there on my day off for a fill. While filing my nails the lady cut my many times. She didnt seem to care about my bleeding or pain. She didnt seem to care about the shape or what I wanted. Please dont waste your money and time.

Gel Manicure was above average. Cuticle removal, polish application, polish selection were good and so far no chipping.Pedicure was another story. Im a Pedicure expert. I have my favorite salon but always looking for another back up. First time in nearly 30 years of pedicures that the technician took my polish off and filed my nails BEFORE putting them in water. Scrubbing/callus removal was nearly non-existent to the point I had to go home and RE-scrub them. Only positive thing was the tub guard they use.Even with the discount price I would never go back.Quick Update: Gel manicure lasted 4 days before two chipped/lifted.

Wow I was blown away by this place and had 2 amazing experiences. I got a gel manicure and they really took their time, cleaned my cuticles, and just did an overall great job. I also got the pedicure and girll the massage was on point. And my nails lasted a while!

Located next to my hot bagels shop I go regularly and several blocks from the high school. Looks like the old owner sold the store and new management did some major updates and so much more colors now to choose from. Place doesnt look like what it used to be including the sign, almost thought I walked into a different store. New owner seems very nice and the prices are still the same! As far as service, was attentive and very content with what I got at the old prices. I might be visiting a little more often now, new setting is quite relaxing.

This place is EXTREMELY unprofessional. They claim to close at 7:30, however, that apparently isn’t true. I came to get a mani and pedi here and finished around 7:15 and wanted 5 minutes to dry my nails- which to me seemed reasonable because I should have been able to stay till 7:30 if I wanted to. But NO. A Lady came over to me saying they close at 7:30, mind you it was 7:15. I asked for 5 minutes to dry my nails and she told me NO. Then another came over with quick dry spray and grabbed my hand out from under the drying fan.Then, as I proceeded to walk out, clearly mad and upset and telling them how rude they were and that I was never coming back- one of the ladies proceeded to pull my shirt to try and pull me back into the store ! I told her to get her hands off me!Horrible experience. Please, DO NOT go here.

I believe in second chances, but this is the 3rd or 4th time I’ve been here where my gel manicure has lifted almost immediately. The pedicures are done ok, but I won’t be going back. I shouldn’t be able to peel each gel off 4 days after I’ve got them done.

People that work there are very nice and the manicure and pedicure are okay. The last time I went there, I went for the promotion of $30 mani and pedi. I’m not sure if it was the owner, but a male person came when I was about to leave, so I went to the front to pay and I took a $50 bill out of my purse. He when told me that mani & pedi were $50. I was like no, even in the wall, where they have the prices, it says mani $20 pedi $20. So I told him that I got the promotion. Then he said ok $40. I said No again. The lady that did my pedicure talked to him in mandarin I believe and then he was like ok ok $30. It was a little mad that he was charging me $50 after he saw me taking $50 bill from my purse. Make sure to know the prices and let them know before mani and pedi because he would charge you more.

This is the most amazing place to get a gel manicure and pedicure! First off the pedicures are heavenly and they use hot stones and paraffin for your heels ! Also their price is so afforadbale.

I went there yesterday for a gel manicure with my friend after work. I am unhappy with my results as is my friend. Theres dull spots on parts of my nails that should have shiny top coat and she rushed to finish. She extended my two thumbs and theyre extremely crooked and uneven. The color doesnt even cover my nails on many spots. I know the woman doing my nails was older, her hands were really shaky too, but my friends nails also came out bad and she had another woman work on her nails and shes also unhappy. For paying $40 for gels I expected and deserved better. Probably never coming back here, I can do a better job myself.

Only went here because I had a Groupon that gave me a gel manicure and a pedicure for 18 dollars, but I would never go back. Although their service isn’t terrie, the employees are very very very rude and ruined the whole experience for me. First off, when I called, they told me not to buy the Groupon and that they would give me the same price as the Groupon. When I got there, I showed the guy that was sitting at the front the Groupon, and showed him that I had a 50 percent off coupon with Groupon and he told me that was a “mistake” and that he could only give it to me for 35. So I told him I would just buy it myself since he wouldn’t honor it, and went ahead and bought the Groupon myself. After I sat down, the lady that did my gel manicure was extremely rude. She wouldn’t listen to how I wanted my nails shaped, and when I told her I like the edges to be neat, she started talking about me to her co-workers in another language. I felt very disrespected and uncomfortable. The lady who did my toe nails was very nice, and did a very good job. For 18 dollars I would go there, but I would never pay the full price to be treated like that.
