I went there for a very specific balloon purchase and decorations, and found most of it. Try to avoid getting there 15 minutes before they close, otherwise, you will be reminded every two minutes.

The best place for party supplies. They pretty much have everything you need from balloons, fog machines, candy melts, decorative plates and items and gift bag stuffers.

We have gotten balloons here twice, and both time they did a wonderful job! Special thanks to Jay for helping us figure out the best way to transport them in the car. You made these events easy.

Not recommended. You buy one balloon and you have to wait an hour to get it filled ? I usually go to my local shop where you buy more than 40 and fill it on the spot and no wait.

Came here today for coupe of balloons. Cashier said that they running behind the orders and will not sell any balloons for today. Party store having not enough and helium! Shame Shame Shame! Change your manager and take care of basic supplies! Will not return!

So I go all around the north Jersey area rating different businesses retail stores food and shopping establishments. Today my review is store 710!!! Unfortunately i am giving this store a 1 star rating.. I have been in party city multiple times for the past 2 months. This store CURRENTLY HAS NO AIR CONDITIONING AND HAS NOT HAD ONE FOR A MONTH NOW AND STILL CONTIUES!! They have 4 portable air conditioning units inside the store one in each corner of the building and all it does is recirculate the hot air and does not blow out cold air. The air conditioners are plugged into extension cords which is a tripping hazard and a fire hazard. The store is so hot that the one day I went into the store it was 91 degrees in the store. Just this week another portable air conditioning unit was added to the candy chocolate section of the store. I went to pick up chocolate and a snickers bar and instantly squished in my hand due to the heat in the store everything is melting already. When I went to the register to check out I told the cashier that all the chocolate was melting and was not good. I looked around and noticed that all the cashiers behind the counter were dripping of sweat and looked overly exhausted which is completely gross and unhealthy I was in the store for approximately 45 minutes and By the time I checked out I was soaked in sweat and so were other customers. I heard more people complain to the cashiers about the heat then I could imagine. Party city is not doing anything for not only the customers but employees...this store should not be opened until the air is fixed. A friend of mine went into the store on a Saturday and waited 3 hours to have 5 balloons filled for his sons birthday. He waited in line for 18 minutes just to check out. At one point they stopped taking walk-in balloon orders and said that they were running low on helium just because they were so backed up with inflations. This store is so under staffed its not even funny... the aisle right outside the bathrooms were completely crowed with boxes and inventory that it is extremely tight to look at items in the baby section. It feels like closterfobic. last but not least the mens room bathroom smells like something either died in the drain pipe or raw sewage. Especially with the heat it was horrible. hopefully all these problems are resolved and something is done!!!

Nice staff, but I purchased a number 4 balloon on Friday night to surprise my son on his birthday, and by the next morning the balloon was deflated - less than 12 hours later! Save your cash and get your balloons elsewhere. Such a disappointment.

Everyone was very polite and helpful. We were able to get everything we were looking for. We even found some nice party favors that were nicer than what we wanted. They had a nice variety of items for a lot of different characters. The prices were reasonable for what you get.

Was there this past Sunday. Greeter was at the door saying welcome to the party . They are now definitely ready for Halloween. Was there earlier in the day so it was not real busy. Picked up a few things along with a witch mask. So hard to find a witch mask for some reason. Mask was $20 but I had 20% coupon so price came to $16. Bought mask for display Im planning on doing. Should work , but I dont think this mask would be good for a person to wear. Inside of mask is not really contoured to fit a persons face. Does have elastic in back & some hair but not much to cover back of head. Will try to add picture. Its not Party Citys fault All in all the store is definitely ready. BOO!

Its not a party! Workers are nice and are doing their best but check out needs major improvement. There should be a speedy check out line for customers who arent interested in balloons.

They help blowup the balloons for free and the balloons did not loose air for almost a month which is fantastic. I was able to find everything I needed for my sons first birthday :-)

Never ever order from this place for delivery. Projected delivery for a surprise party before 9 AM, stated on order form and in subsequent email confirmations. Here I am at 10:37 and the order still has not arrived. Calling the store led to being placed on hold for many minutes and eventually told my order had not yet been picked up. Surprise ruined. Thanks a lot, guys.

Love this place. Always have what I need. I try to go during the week when it is not too busy. Did you know you could order on line and have it delivered?The only thing is lines are long on the weekend. Should have bigger staff and have a better system when it comes to paying and receiving the balloons.

Never use their balloon delivery. Scheduled to come between 1 and 2. Called around 2:30 asking where it was. Staff was unaware the delivery never left the store. Their delivery service never picked up the order. Finally received delivery at 3:45. Never again

This place is so wonderfull but the Ballon section is the worse just because, if you have costumer OF YOU, the common sense is to star the order! instead to prepare 2 orders of costumer that IS NOT ON FRON OF YOU!!!.

Do not place balloon delivery orders. I did same day, wanted them for my sons bday (when he woke up). They delivered $60 worth of balloons , not filled in a plastic bag. It was too late by time I went downstairs to get them. Called the next day. They admitted I paid for inflated balloons. They were delivering them between 3-4. I never got them. And my sons Birthday day is now over. I wish they worked out bc I definitely would have been sending as gifts These days. Still have to call and get a refund but very disappointed my son didn’t have balloons on his birthday - he’s a toddler who loves his balloons.

The employees are doing the best they can under these circumstances! Please be patient with them and leave your attitudes at home ! They have a system that they HAVE TO abide by ! They don’t deserve your attitudes or recommendations on how to run their business!That being said I think they are doing a fantastic job !

2 years in a row Ive placed online orders for items for my sons birthday, and 2 years in a row theres been screw ups and inconvenience. Waiting over 40 minutes both times for items that should have been ready (the first time) or delivered to my home (the second time). No type of apologies or customer care. They wouldnt even answer the phone! I called Party City customer service and they couldnt even get thru to the store, even tho they were open. I cant say Ill never purchase from party city again but Ill avoid this particular one as much as possible.

Thought I would find all my birthday theme decor and was a bit disappointed when I didnt.

Incredibly long lines, babies crying and parents yelling but the line went quickly. There were 30 people in front of me on line.

Despite the long wait I was able to get what I needed. One particular employee was very helpful in letting customers know the process for getting balloons. The staff maintained a right attitude even though they were very busy.

The absolute worst customer service I’ve ever seen. The line for online orders and balloon pickup is insane. They have one person working the line and he is busy fulfilling online orders that were not completed. When you ask another employee to help they say he is the only one that can help. Completely unacceptable, I waited half an hour in line and nobody was being helped in front of me.

Not only is service slow and disorganized, Party City balloons deflate almost immediately. You’re better off getting balloons from Dollar Tree.

I ordered balloons for delivery yesterday. I called to check in at the store towards the end of my delivery window and was assured they were on the truck for delivery. They never showed up. Now, today, no one is answering the phone. The one thing my kids wanted to make this birthday seem a little more normal, was to decorate our house....now they are very sad and disappointed.

My daughter was going to have a belated birthday celebration at her school (her birthday is during the holiday break) so I needed to buy birthday gift bag items for her classmates. I went to this particular Party City in Clifton because I happened to be in the area. The store has a great variety of products for every occasion. The birthday section was very organized and had a great selection of items. Im not the most patient shopper but before I could become overwhelmed I was approached by a excellent, very cordial and professional party planner named Sheena. She gave me great ideas of what to shop for, she walked me through the store to find what I needed based on all of my answers to her questions and she listened. The cashier sales associates were also very friendly and fast. I had shopped and purchased everything within 10 minutes. It was a great, quick and reasonably priced shopping experience. I will definitely shop there for future events.

Always go here without a problem. This time they were rushing everyone out! We had 30 mins til closing and they were announcing and pushing customers. I could see doing that at 10 mins til closing. Not 30

I love this party city. The employees are such hard workers to keep the customer happy. And much cleaner than other Party citys. Great deals for birthday cards, balloons, and candy. Would and always come here again!

June 27, 2020 I had set a delivery for balloons for my daughters birthday and there was a huge mess up with the delivery person. The assistant manager went above and beyond to correct the problem. He even delivered the order himself.

If you ever need any party stuff party city is the place to go. The staff at this one was very helpful and nice.

Bought balloons on May 22 to make sure we have the Mario theme before they sold out. So i didnt have them filled up. And associate td me to come back they will fill them up. I go back and they dont want to fill them up. The worst store ever. Have no heart for my 4 year old. They worried about covid19 and then they tell they behind. Make up your mind.

Never delivered my daughters birthday balloons. Cant even get anyone on the phone to get my refund. Then they send an email the day after her birthday sayin that I picked up my items. What a mess

I ordered $60 worth of party supplies for next day delivery from this store...my card was charged and what I received was $14 worth of balloons and one order of party plates. It has now been a month and After calling once every week I have yet to receive my refund for these items and I keep being told “it’s processing” smh when or if I ever receive my money I will gladly change this review.

This place is the best, they have great quality and selections. I would recommend coming here. The staff is amazing and they are super friendly and there is always something for you to pick based off what you want; great selection.

I got a few outfits for myself which was a little pricey. However, love the outfits I got since they do have what you need though it is first come first serve so my advice is get there 1mon. ahead cause they will run out of things you maybe looking for when its in hot demand.

Unbelievable. I ordered to have the items delivered and they never arrived and I still received an email saying I picked them up??? How?? The worst part is I called the day they were supposed to be delivered and no body knew anything about the order.

This is a busy busy store and the employees work very hard. I’ve had to speak to two different managers Tony and Jimmy about something not customer service related and they were both very kind and accommodating. Every other employee who has helped me has been professional and efficient. This team deserves recognition. I was in there some time last month and there was a customer being so rude and nasty to the staff of very young employees who were working so hard at handling the line. Not once did any of the employees lose their cool. They worked through it and did a great job at that. Kudos to the team at Clifton Commons! You guys are great!

Order balloons for mother day never got them they told me they weren’t doing curbside pick up nomore so I ask for a refund it’s June almost Father’s Day and still wanting for my refund

Nice store at good location for all kind of parties. The store is busy in weekends and there will be line for inflating balloons. It is better to order the Balloons in advance and schedule the pickup.

Worst party city, they are clueless about what they are doing no one in the store to assist customers, you need to go find something by yourself for hours and no one would want to help you. You place orders online and they can cancel your orders as they wish and no explanation because they are clueless, they don’t know how their own system function I guess. Total mess and no order in the store. 100 customers 2-3 workers go figure how long you will have to wait after spending hours to find couple pieces stuff from giant isles loaded tons of stuff. Their isles are also unorganized as their staff. No proper signage.

When you go to pick up your stuff you have to call them but no one is answering at all and when you are waiting they randomly picking people instead of the people coming and people can come in and get their stuff before people who already there and waiting inside there cars following the rules while other didnt and get their stuff. They are not organize and they did everything so wrong would not go back until they fix everything immediately it is terrible at the moment. Save yourself from the time waiting and go somewhere else.

I stopped by to stock up on St. Patrick’s day festivities. Shanna helped me pick out everything I needed and signed me up for a business account for future holiday parties. Additionally, Aneesa (cashier) was very nice.

A great store stocked with products for kids parties. This store has great pricing on the decors you might need and the people here act professional. Not a bad place to stop by if you are planing or help plan a childrens party.

I had to run out for last minute wig to Party City on Halloween and from the moment I walked in the store an employee came up and ask if I needed any help the store was very clean and organized and I found exactly what I needed right away I was in-and-out within like 20 minutes so I have to give 5 stars for the effort in making their store a better experience.

They have a great selection but why every time I walk in here is there an enormous line?! Especially on the weekends where everyones trying to pick up balloon orders and buy things theres one person on the register!!!!

We bought balloons to decorate a birthday party, even paid extra to keep them up for 24 hrs. These balloons started bursting just even as we started to leave from the parking lot and those that did last lost air within the next couple of hrs!! Total fail! Even the ones from 99¢ stores last longer than that WITHOUT the EXTRA money. Smh.

Brightly displayed Party City, with all the trimmings! Like most Party City stores, this has bright, colorful, eye-popping displays; large; and well laid out. They are mostly the same in terms of layout and it works. Lots of options. We were there about a week or two ago and there were a few costumes, but not yet the full on Halloween displays/costumes. Waiting for that! Though, they are probably in stores now... But, we did go there for some girl costumes and trimmings, which they had. Party City stores are great for costumes, candies, decor, goodies, everything party! ; )

This is a pretty decent Party City location. The products I go for are always stocked for the most part. The staff here are bad with maintaining large groups (or any size, at that) of customers within the store. More than twice Ive waited on an extremely long line while there was one employee at a cash register ringing everyone up and like four other employees in the balloon area filling up balloons while having meaningless conversation.. Just be prepared to wait 10+ minutes on a line when clearly they have enough staff to assist at the registers to avoid prolonging their costumers stay there.

There were instructions on the email that were not adhered to, most people got out of their cars and were waiting in front of the store.

I hate all the stuff they sell, but thats just me. Service was good and if you like this kind of party supplies I guess there is no place better
