I have started coming to Euro Tans and Spa since May, and my experience here has been great! Nice staff, clean rooms, awesome tanning beds, and affordable. I only come here for the tanning, but have heard only good things about the waxing. Tim was super helpful, giving great advice and knowledge on all the beds. I used the KBL 7000 tanning bed throughout the past few months, and I had beautiful deep color all summer long! I take a break from tanning in the fall/winter—but I will certainly be back in spring 2022!

I been a member for over a year now and I recommend this place to all my friends and family. The service is amazing, fast and painless wax. I used to try many waxing places but this one is the best one in the area. Stop scrolling and give them a try!

Updating my review to reflect the frustration that this business does not have their employees wear masks- an unmasked unvaccinated esthetician working so closely on your body with no ventilation, no protection is pretty serious. Good place to come if you’re anti mask though.I’ve been coming here for year for waxing services. I have a monthly membership which is a great price for waxing. They have pretty high turnover for waters but everyone seems to know what they’re doing. It’s worth the price and drive!

I have been going to Euro Tans and spa for years and I love it! I started going here for tanning then I signed up to be a member and received a great rate for Brazilian waxing. I live in Montclair so its so close and convenient! its only a 10 minute drive. All of the wax technicians are great and always do an amazing job. The front desk staff is super friendly, the hours are flexible and the prices are so competitive and affordable. It’s only $29 A month for a Brazilian wax. I’d definitely recommend going here for any tan or waxing service, I’ve always had a very pleasant experience.

I had a brazilian waxing here for the first time and I am extremely happy with the service!! I am from Paterson NJ and have been looking for a place to get waxing and gave this place a try and definitely loved it, its only about 10-15 mins away. Their prices are awesome, they have great deals, the place is super clean, the staff is really nice. Totally recommended!!

Love this place! I have been coming here for about 6 years now. I started off tanning in their beds which gave me amazing color. The staff is so friendly and always make me feel so welcomed. I eventually started using their waxing services and i am very satisfied with it and their waxers!! Very convenient drive from elmwood park so nice and close. Recommend 1000%!

This is a great place to go for waxing. The membership makes it affordable as well and its a great value for the cost. The salon is clean and my experience with all but one of the waxers has been fantastic, and theyre open to feedback in the rare cases if you dont have a great experience. Their hours and appointment availability are also wonderful. Theyre on time with the appointments as well. Im happy to have found this place.

I LOVE EURO TANS AND SPA! I have been going here for almost a year now, I have a higher level tanning membership and find the pricing to be very reasonable compared to other local salons. I live in South Paterson and find the commute to Euro Tans quick and easy! It’s less than 10 minutes! The salon is always so clean, literally super super clean, they handled COVID protocols very well and are continuing to take precautions. The girls at the front desk are all very nice and friendly to the customers and always ready to help. They have a good selection of lotions ... my favorite is IBlack :) try it ... and they overall satisfy me every time I stop in, I always get a warm greeting and very rarely have to wait to tan. They are prompt and efficient with cleaning the rooms in between use between clients. Can’t wait to tan today! I like tanning when it’s cold out and generally just cause I feel better when tan, I’m sure most can agree :) and euro tans is my favorite place to do that at!

I found this place on a Groupon. I have been to a lot of waxing spas and this one is my favorite so far. The girls are quick and effective (for me fast hands is less painful...lol). If you wax regularly make sure you do the membership regular wax cost $49. With the membership its $27. Check them out

I have been getting waxed here for over 5 years and I absolutely love it! The receptionists and waxers are so lovely. The place has a very relaxing calming feel to it and is very professional. I highly recommend getting waxed/tanning here!

This is a great place to go for waxing. With their membership package, the cost is very reasonable. The staff is helpful and efficient and I have had great experiences with all but one of the estheticians. They keep the place clean and are on time with appointments.

The esthetician’s and front desk girls are all so nice and do a great job! I’ve never had a problem and they have great prices and I always have gotten good results with my waxes :) janelle is awesome

Very bad customer service. I am new was 5 minutes late due to traffic for my appointment the lady at the front desk told me its in their website about 5 min late policy which i checked and there is no mention of 5 mins late policy. The lady at the front desk was on the phone whole time and when i asked her to speak to manager she said we have multiple managers. She even said that whenever anyone calls for appoiment they let them know about 5 mins late policy and no body told me i called to make appoiment twice .came to this place with my frn recommendation but very disappointed.

I had a Brazilian wax and went to Janelle she is so nice and does a great and painless job.

The ladies at the front desk are always nice and helpful especially Gina and Gyllian.

01/02/2021I got waxed here today it wasn’t what I expected it hurt the technique I’m used to it to you pull off all at once, the lady pull like three times to get wax off girl it hurt but for $19 is just nope I still tipped but it hurt too muchThree weeks 01/27/2021 later all I have is ingrown hair what I said was right she didn’t pull the wax of correctly! I’m annoyed now this hurts. I wish I never step foot in here I think the wax lady name was janelle not sure but your service isn’t that great

Clean place and well kept

Kim was very nice and quick. Best wax experience. Most hairs gone and it hardly hurt and there was no after pain. Also they are have great discounts if you just go to them I think you will be pleasantly surprised. I plan on taking my mom here for mothers day gift.

Ive been coming here for almost a year for waxing and I love it. The staff is professional, I get my reminder calls and the young lady that waxes always does a great job.Update 2017, most of the staff now are completely new. I had a new esthetician this week and I dont like the way she waxed me. They need a solid crew. Hopefully their staffing gets better.

I purchased a Groupon and came in for a Brazilian and upper leg. The girl was really nice but it was the service was uncomfortable. Her gloves were too big for her hands so they kept getting stuck to my wax and she kept having to pull her gloves off of me. The extra tugging was painful in my private area especially. I came home to find patches of hair all over, especially my legs and intimate areas in my Brazilian that are the main reason I get it waxed. What led me to write this review though, was that she burnt my lips. The girl was really nice but put me through too much pain, left so much hair on me and really burnt me bad down there.

This is the best waxing experience I ever had! Great quality of service, very time efficient staff, not painful procedures and, just like mentioned by others, the service and price was amaze balls !!!! I Recommend Ladawn (Hope I Spelled her name correctly) her customer service and personable skills were great cause I was nervous. Also not really painful which was also a plus.

They told me over the phone first customers get 50% off Any tanning bed I asked can I get 50% off the spray tan They said yes I said your 100% on this and they said yes went in And the girl told me u can’t get 50% on. Spray tan Only beds so it was like 28$ and it sucked!!!!!!!! I didn’t get anything from it this place is horrible

The thing I like best about this salon is how clean it is, it makes me feel comfortable to continue to go there. Their beds are great and I always get nice color. The staff is welcoming and helpful, which also makes the experience a positive one.

First time ever getting waxed. I’m not sure if I will ever do it again or if I will just try a different facility.I will admit I was a slight bit jumpy in the very beginning (again this was my first time ever) but I eventually settled into it & was able to breathe through it with a slight yelp.Personally I felt like she was rushing which I can understand if there was a full lobby but the place was empty and there are several spots I need to still shave so ehh not impressed.I’m glad I had a Groupon for this & didn’t pay full price.

I bought a Groupon and went for an upper leg and Brazilian waxing once. I didnt have to wait for my appointment and I was surprised that the space was really clean. Ladown applied a little bit of pressure after each waxing so it didnt hurt that much. I appreciated her care. Really nice technique!

Ive been coming here for about six months. Every time I come, the waxer is always running late! Theres never a time that I get in at the scheduled time! Ive asked for a manager to call me more then 3 times, and still havent heard from them. Also the register never has any cash change! Very nice place, but it really needs some organizations and better customer service!

Went recently and I can compare it to the european wax center. it’s less expensive with the same outcome. love the pricing, the people are nice, the wax rooms are cute and spacious, highly recommended. I got a brazilian and they reached my full expectations

Im not sure if I just went on a bad day but this was my first bad experience at a tanning salon. I had a free trial which was on Level 3 (thats actually pretty awesome, most free trials are on level 1). So the girl working there was pretty rude and it took 20 minutes from when I walked in to when I entered the tanning bed. Anyways, on level 3 the max time is 8 minutes. I asked to go in for 5. 2 minutes after being in the bed, I could tell I was getting burned. Just a side note, I have not gotten burnt in 5 years. The bulbs were very strong and probably new but I was not warned of this. I even got out after 3 minutes and was burnt. Would not go back or recommend to anyone.

Just realizing this review posted through my husbands account, Haha. He was going for a brazillion wax, I was! Lol. Im giving this 1 star because 0 isnt an option. I purchased a Brazilian wax on Groupon, figuring I would try a new place near my parents so they can watch my son while I am at my appointment. Im 7 months pregnant and had arranged for my parents to watch my 2 year old. Arrived 11 min late due to traffic and dropping my son off, unknowing of their 10 min late policy. This policy is fine had it been told to me upon making the appointment. Unfortunately sometimes its just not possible as a parent to pull everything off with perfection...especially at 7 months pregnant. I walked in and the receptionist was very snub. She said as per their policy they would not take me. I arrived at 1:11 and I was 1 min past their policy allowance. I said will you please ask again for me as this appointment was not the easiest for me to pull off. The waxer came out and was so evil. She said, Im not taking you and when I questioned about this policy I wasnt aware of she said, Did you really have to be informed to be on time for an appointment. She proceeded to tell me that she didnt want to wax me at all and to cancel my groupon. The gave me a phone number to a recording at Groupon and said it was my problem to figure out how to cancel it. The receptionist initially suggested a later appointment at 5:15pm, but by the time our conversation was over they said they gave that appointment away anyway. I have to be honest, Im glad the waxer came out because with the attitude and freshness she had, I would not have been comfortable having her wax me anyway. Being a business owner myself I felt so embarrassed for the poor owner of establishment and the representation they have while they are not there. So many places you can go get waxed. I recommend avoiding this one!

Ive been coming here on and off since 2012 and Ive had mostly positive, 5 star experiences.Until this morning, when they took my cash and stuffed me in a filthy stand-up booth that had hair all over the place, candy wrappers and two bulbs with burn outs.Management lost touch and the lunatics are running the asylum.

Save your time and money and go somewhere else. Their waxing quality is an average one but they still charge you way more than what yd get it for elsewhere. Also, be careful if they tell you to buy a second coupon for their waxing services from Groupon or any other website. They do that and then tell you when you present it that you could only benefit from their offer once and that youll have to pay the difference to meet the full -over- price.Good luck! :-)

I have been coming to this salon for a few years now and everytime I come I always have a great experience! The staff is very friendly and helpful with any questions you may have. The beds are excellent and always leave me with a tan for weeks. I also love there spray tanning and constanlty get compliments asking me if I just got back vacation as the tan looks so natural. I would highly recommend this place and they also offer some great deals!

I got a Groupon for two Brazilians for this place. Showed up 2 mins late after the 10 mins grace period, the front desk girl had a terrible attitude about it, although I was annoyed, it was my fault so I sat down and waited a minute or two for her to let me know the waxer would see me.Sarah did my wax. She was great. She and the pain convinced me that I need to wax consistently because I definitely don’t want to go thru that again lol. This is why I purchased the groupon for two. They even offer a monthly member price with discounts on other waves as well which I was very interested in and would like to sign up for to keep myself consistent.When my Brazilian was coming to an end, I noticed Sarah wasn’t aware that I was getting underarms and full legs waxed too. She said she would double check the schedule and I reviewed my phone calls to make sure I came to the right location. Sarah made me aware the girl at the front only works Tuesdays, and it turns out I did call and make my appointment on a Tuesday afternoon. Whoever I spoke to gave me a 510 appt for a Brazilian and when I told her I needed legs and under arms as well, she changed the appt to 550 to accommodate all I needed done. When I went to the front after my Brazilian to let her know my appt wasn’t correct, she had not a single care in the world. She simply shrugged her shoulders and said I didn’t make the appt and never made eye contact once with me. There was a few seconds of me just staring at her stunned that she was that disrespectful without remorse.The old me would’ve probably gotten belligerent with her at this point because from the time I walked in the door her attitude wasn’t welcoming at all. But I’ve matured too much to let someone like this take me out of my element. However I’ve worked in customer service, I’ve worked as a receptionist, and I currently run my own business. Ive learned that attitude is the reason why customers go elsewhere despite how great the business itself is. As the first person customers deal with, she needs to leave a better impression. I could pull the race card and say that’s her reason for dismissing me so carelessly, but I’d like to believe that in 2019 people are better than that. I changed my mind completely about signing up to be a member. I couldn’t even bring myself to leave a tip for Sarah who was great, however my tips are always based on overall experience and this one really got under my skin. If I do return to redeem my second voucher, it will absolutely not be at this location.My suggestion - better vibes at the front please.

ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!!!!!!!This is the worst staff I have ever dealt with.After signing up for a membership I was charged two times within a span of three days. Upon calling to resolve this issue I dealt with a string of incompetent employees and managers which all gave me different answers.Among my favorite answers were: The owners are in Nashville we can not help you now. and You can keep the membership or cancel it.I have never in my life dealt with such a lack of respect, professionalism, and intelligence.They take no responsibility for their employees actions at all.Their customer service is non-existent.
