Nice gym, many machines, squat racks, two power racks, bunch of benches and cardio stuff. Staff (Michell) is upfront about all fees and stuff. $25/month is a good deal for this place.

I just want to warn those who want to start working out at 5 am. Gym are often close because of sleeping employees like today. It is 5:20 there is about 20 people waiting and door are still closed I hope that employee responsible for opening the gym has a great dream

Treadmills are constantly out of service 5 at a time by the end of the week they are still out of order! The free weights are scattered all over the place and most times at locations where injuries may occur. Only when the ball headed guy come to visit do I see the staff running around picking up stuff and making sure everything is running smoothly, He’s probably head manager! Most people sit in the workout equipment chatting or playing with their phones! Frustrating when you need to workout and go about your business or to work! Needs on site management that pays attention to detail and reminds the staff to get on their job! If someone trips and gets injured it will be negligence on their part😞

I’ve come into this gym (Esporta Fitness) a couple of times and I’m always impressed with the aesthetics. I went in today and had a “small” big ask about their towels and they were so accommodating. Pepe’s customer service prowess is UNMATCHED! Thank you Pepe for your help, this place is the complete package in my book! They get 5 stars from me🤙🏾….

The folks here are quite nice.I have two gripes which I hope they can address.1. While there are plenty of weights and treadmills, there are just two leg extension machines. For many other types there’s just one machine, where one has to always wait.Adding to the aggravation are folks use the machines to sit and and relax while texting while others wait. But this is more of an etiquette issue than a reflection on Esporta.Having said that, perhaps they can promote awareness around this issue.2. The place is unevenly air-conditioned. It’s perpetually too warm with too little air movement.The bike area has no fans and is suffocatingly hot without them.If you can address the above, I’ll be back in here to up the stars and review.Thank you Esporta hope your listening…

Personal Training Program is a scam...They charge 280 a month for just two days a week. The trainer I was given made many misogynistic remarks to me about my body. Remarks like wow your boyfriend is happy with your body, skinny or thicker? he must really love you. very unprofessional. He would excuse these types of comments by saying he was just trying to motivate me. On top of this it was such a hassle to cancel the Program. There were many excuses made when I tried to cancel the program, and it was hard to get into contact with them to cancel it. On top of all that, the cancelation fee was 700$ even after I told them my reason for canceling was because I was moving into college and had no transportation to get the nearest Esporta from my school. Not worth it at all, save your money.

I love working out at this place! Great equipment, lot of variety, and beautiful gym! Most importantly, they have 3 guys, Jean, Karin & Kenny, who ALWAYS WORK hard to keep this place clean and safe! Every time I come in for a workout, they smile and ask me how I am doing. They always make me feel appreciated and welcomed. Awesome guys, and they are very hardworking! I’ve worked out at many LA Fitness facilities, but I’ve never seen janitorial staff who take so much pride in what they do! The rest of the staff is awesome, too! Definitely a great place for a good and SAFE WORKOUT!!! 👍🏻

This gym is literally the WORST. The employees have ZERO communication, pick and choose who to bother when it comes to “training people” They’re constantly interrupting gym sessions while on the turf although you pay a membership to use the turf? Since the FIRST day I started training at this gym it’s been non stop bother and negativity. If I can give a negative 5 i really would. Do you know how unprofessional and unnecessary to come into your workout session having an employee bother you, tracking you down just to say “ they’re watching you” what they need to watch is the dumbbells all over the Turfs and near the machines. Maybe if their front desks wouldn’t be on their phone so often the facility would be much cleaner. I hate this gym and have never encountered such HORRID customer service.

The gym was closed today as no one was there to open the doors. People waited for sometime and started leaving. I myself waited till 6.50 and left. Called the Parsippany location but there was no way to get in touch with any personnel for the clifton location. This is something I never could have imagined. Crazy!

I like it. Its a smaller LA fitness which is more relaxed then theyre huge other one in Clifton. Usually not busy. Fairly quiet. Nice warm pool.

It is a very clean gym Ive been with LA fitness now Esporta Fitness for 10 years. It was always clean before Covid19 and is still very clean. I love it there.

Do not sign up for personal training, it is an absolute scam. I signed up, let the person doing my consultation (head of training department) that I had health issues, and needed a tailored approach. This consultation was one hour, where they preached and glorified the fitness training and had me go into all my fitness goals. When the time came for my first session, I was assigned a trainer, and the trainer didnt even check my consultation/goals/weight anything. Instead, strolled in casually, and just pushed me. Due to this, I fell off a jumping Box (gym equipment) and broke my wrist (on the first session!). Ive incurred 10,000 in medical bills (had to go to the ER when my wrist first broke) and even have a doctors note to cancel, but have experienced nothing but bad customer service, pushy salesmanship, inauthentic trainers, and frustration in cancelling. If you actually care about your health, and want someone who cares about yours as well, (you are not just a sales target ) please sign up for training somewhere else. Also never sign up for personal training, that makes you sign a one year contract, or only provides 30 minute sessions (can you believe with the high prices you still need to warm up and cool down on your own).With more research I realized this is unheard of in the personal coaching industry, a contract means scam.

Very rude staff honestly I would rather pay new gym dues and drive farther I understand times are different and coronavirus has changed but customer service should always be a priority and honestly the staff needs to be trained on how to be polite to customers who are paying for services not yelling at people because the scanned into the wrong scanner educate your customers politely and say hey you can’t scan in on that one but it’s ok I can help you instead of yelling seriously save your money for a gymThat deserves you I have been a member almost 2 years and I am canceling today there’s a lot of struggling people out there that could use these jobs instead of the staff the currently have honestly wish I could give them lower the 1 star

Everything about this gym is unorganized. Staff is unfriendly. Dumbbells are all out of order and on the floor, not with their matches. All the equipment is super cramped. Music is blasting too loud. Every other esporta location I’ve been too is up to standard. This one needs some serious work.

Beautiful gym, inexpensive, clean and it’s a safe environment to workout in. If you choose the 25.00 monthly pass you’re able to bring up to 4 other individuals to workout with you and you will have all access.

Dirty floors, bathrooms, and weights all over the place meanwhile the cleaning staff member is watching TV eating lunch during the whole shift or hiding in the storage room. They were better earlier on but lately it is getting worse.

Gym is good, machines work, they are cleaned periodically etc. What they lack is security and safety. I have gotten things stolen twice in the place. DO NOT LEAVE things on the lockers. I had pretty strong locks too and they still broke into it. Management says they are not liable but wouldn’t give a damn ether. I suggest you drive 15min to the one in Clifton rt3 and save the headache.

This gym is a beautiful gym! Friendly staffs! I love the yoga classes! They have organized machines! Manny is such a great manager at this club! I love this gym more than any other La Fitness clubs around here, so for those who are reading this review, please don’t hesitate to call or go there to pay a visit because this gym is a great place to be at!

Ive been coming here for like a year!! This gym is such a very nice gym along with the people who work there are very polite!! The Membership Manager Manny is such a GREAT guy who will be able to help you out with ANYTHING you need for him to do!! Hes been helpful with me and all!! Manny, Lenny, and Daly really make me feel like this gym is a home to me which it is!! I am very comfortable with them as they are with me!! Manny is the best Membership Manager around!! I hope he doesnt leave this club!! This gym has what you need like Kids Club, Bicycles, Classroom, nice weight floor, and they have a lot of cable machines!! Believe me when I say this, this is like one of my favorite gyms I have ever been to!! I cant complain about anything at this gym!! I love this gym!! They have great flexible hours, (5AM-11PM)!! I will always come here!! I love this gym very much!! This gym may be very packed but thats not only because people live close there, its because its such a great environment to be at!! This gym is incredible. I went with my cousins and had the best compliment from the cleaning to the sales department. Pepe was really helpful look for him to get you started.

This location is great. I recently signed up and the general manager Manny did a phenomenal job. My friends and I had a million questions and he had a lot of patience with us. He has exceptional customer service skills and made the signing up process fun and easy. The cycling instructor Kevin is beyond amazing. He makes his cycling class super fun and is very motivating. He really pushes you to your max and helps you achieve a great workout!

Clean gym, hospitable atmosphere. Workers are very helpful, especially the sales manager Chris, who answered all my questions prior to me joining. They also rarely have people crowding the equipment either, which is preferable when you want a quick workout and don’t want to wait on a machine to become available.

General Manager Manny was phenomenal. He assisted me in a kind professional manner. He helped me sign up and offered me the specials that were available. Gym is very clean and spacious. Very Friendly staff, and extremely clean Gym! Opened long hours! A+ I joined to use the pool . Haven’t taken any water aerobics class yet, but I am enjoying the facility very much. Highly recommend.I love that your not locked into any contract, and I can use ANY LA Fitness anywhere! So glad there isn’t tootsie rolls and pizza parties here when the goal is to eat healthy and get fit!

Overall very clean gym. But not many people are wearing swimming caps while they’re in the pool. I often see floating hairs in the water, disgusting!

Recently signed up here. Chris was VERY helpful! Went over the policy with me thoroughly. Also, was very friendly and enthusiastic about his job.

I like it here. better than the other kearny location. less packed which is always good. I definitely like the smaller feel of this gym. definitely has great potential especially with the two empty rooms they have. staff is changing all the time but for the most part, pretty great. only thing is I wish they had a sauna :( other than that, super thumbs up

So I decided to check out the LA fitness for the first time ever and I will have to admit, I was extremely disappointed. Being an active person in the gym, I was really looking forward towards a good experience, however the gym felt very short. I stopped by to see if I can sign up for a guest pass before committing from Blink and they completely wasted my time. After I was shown around the gym, the sales pitch started. I mentioned from the beginning I was not interested in signing up yet, until I get a feel for the gym. The sales person offered to assist me in a work out in order to get me to decide, however, I told them that a person cannot determine whether or not a gym is for them based on bench pressing. After mentioning this, they took a pause and stated that the only way I can use their gym is by paying $21 for the day.I questioned the charge and mentioned how the website states about the Guest pass. They went ahead and said, that particular branch of LA Fitness does not offer guest passes. I excused myself and finished my workout routine at Blink. I only came to this gym out of convenience, not necessity. With this way of doing business though, I can totally see why this gym always seem a little empty. Blink has done me well for the past 5 years for almost 1/3 of the cost. Guess Blink will continue having my membership/business for now.

Good location and very clean. This LA’s staff, are all helpful and friendly. From the front desk, to the membership counselors, to the managers. All outgoing and motivating! The manager Moe especially is such a great guy and very genuine. Vivian the assistant manager is a bright and cheerful girl as well as the rest. This location has a kids club and the staff is hands on and good with the kids. The pool is always available. Just great

“No commitment cancellation” sounds great until you realize the only time you can go in person to cancel are business hours, which can make it difficult if you also work between the hours of 9-5 Mon-friday like me. Your second option of mailing a cancellation form may sound like a good resolution except i would not trust that. I went in person to cancel my membership, for the simple fact I did not trust mailing a form that had the chance of never being received, but my exact fear with mailing a form in, happened after cancelling in person during the “correct” hours and my membership was left open and active and of course charged another month that was never supposed to be billed to my account, and when called in to correct the issue nothing was noted or done to my account except for a note of my first attempt to cancel “after hours” a few days earlier. So i have wasted my time and now have to possibly return a third time to resolute this issue.

Ive been to many gyms and I must say this one is a great location. Its very clean. Machines are never broken. But one thing that stands out is how the staff really cares about your experience. The Sales Manager, Chris, signed me up when he was just a membership salesman. It is great to see he got promoted but still walks the gym floor to say hi and give high fives to members he signed up!!! Always asking them if they are ok or if they need anything. That is rare. Great personal service!

Cant say enough about this LA Fitness. I was able to get a great deal when the gym opened a few months ago. The GM is very friendly and the gym is very clean. I would recommend this gym to anyone looking for a bang for your buck. The weights are heavy and the water is wet. What are you waiting for? Nothing better than a new gym.

Very disappointed. Although the gym is clean & new - they advertise themselves as a signature facility . Therefore, they charge a $5.00 service fee to outside members. However , they do not offer, towels, sauna, steam sauna, or juice bar. Very basic and overpriced! When I mentioned this to the rep at the front desk ,his reply was Welcome to the North lame and disrespectful response. As if to say thats how the north is. This should not be a signature facility! Very small & not impressive. Other employees working didnt even say goodbye when I was leaving. Save your money & find a better La fitness .Your paying for their interior design, thats it! No special service , equipment or employees !

Manny the general manager was very helpful in getting my friend a VIP pass for 2 weeks.I love taking kick boxing and power circuit with Carlos.I also love Tiffany’s Zumba classesI enjoy going to this gym and would recommend it to anyone

I asked my friends to join the gym with me I have an offer that there was no initial fees if I bring somebody we first get there and they said the promotion Wason bow late even though it’s half or is wise in the time period of the promotion they could charge that the $200 I just paid a month $32 but when they join it was $50 each it was a couple so they had to pay $100 a month after two months they get charged $100 more for an annual fee dad I have been paid in the street years that I was there which I don’t understand why they charged them that. Unfortunately this location is still lacking in competent staff. how are you gonna close early and kick everyone out when your closing time states 10 pm??? its getting ridiculous everytime i am told we are closed when its only five minutes. please be more punctual. and i also have to see equipment everywhere and no one is notifying the club members they cannot bring outside weights into the aerobics room. i rlly want to keep my membership here but i might as well go elsewhere soon.

I went as a guest with my friend and he introduced me to the manager, Chris. I couldn’t believe how awesome this guy was. He gave me a warming welcome and some workout tips. Love the gym! Girls bathrooms are so clean and everyone is so nice! Vivian took care of me and my daughter and shes so sweet and nice =) make me feel like home. I left my daughter in the kids klub to see if she would adapt to it and Leslie the babysitter took great care of them and is so patient with kids! This gym is great in general

Absolutely the worst LA fitness location. Somebody stole my jacket from the locker room hangers but thankfully nothing was in it. Weights are never re racked. Shows you what kind of people come here and how strictly management enforces the rules. Avoid at all costs. Will be moving to Lodi location.

I love this gym so much and I cannot day enough nice things about it. I used to weight 210.4 pounds and I was so depressed. I to this gym as a way of bettering myself and that is exactly what happened. I lost 50 pounds in 6 months after long hours of dedication. The staff here is so lovely And so helpful. Their facility is also always clean and always has the best quality machinery. Whenever I needed something or asked for help they were so informative and it is the reason why I continue to strive in my fitness journey.
