I’ve been coming here for the past two months and all I can tell you is, Good luck booking an appointment and having Moe show up on time. The guy tells you when he will show up and never show up. Very unprofessional and unreliable. I strongly consider you using a different barbershop that’s close by like International Hair Salon, at least they will have there business open on time and are professional.

Yo my man moe hook me up . In nj hole in the wall .like we say but he point check him out right behind planet fitness in clifton. Humble is the word.

I used to love going to this shop until I had my experience with Moe. I came in and asked him to simply trim the ends of the long hair as I got into a burn and had a lot of my hair singed off. Moe proceeded to chop down my hair by inches on the back of my head and give me a whole different haircut. It took me about 5-6 months to get my curls on the back of my head to go down to my shoulders but now I am left with barely any hair. My hair was very curly but now it will take me months to get it back. Moe was also very unprofessional as he was on the phone for sometime as he was cutting my hair. He had his motorcycle in the shop and the shop smelled very badly of gasoline. Moe was cursing a lot while talking to me. I would not recommend getting your hair cut by Moe if you want to walk out with something other than what you were asking for.

The guy who stating start year a go this shop terrible. I felt like sheep cutting my hair without pro service. The guy gave me terrible hair cut, he was always on the phone and speaking another guy very loudly. He was hitting my head with trimming machine. The owner of that saloon doing great job. If you have a patient, just take a service from owner. not the new guy. I never give a chance new guy again. He was trying to sell hair gel and insisted too much. End of the service put my hair without asking. This is a great place, some of guy doing great job but that one made a terrible job. I will go that shop again but never get a service from same guy.

Great barber shop. Tried out a lot of barbershops in the area but this is the best place with the most valid line up. Very consistent and they take their time with every customer. After the cut they make great product recommendations based on your hair and style. Worth the drive out of town because I know I’m going to leave looking fresh unlike some other places where it’s a hit or miss depending on who you get.

I used to go there for Mousa cuts. I went back for a different harbor cuz Mousa was on vacation. I’m never going back. And will forever stick to Mousa.

Before very good, now the new administration or new barbers not very professional, bad service, lost time and they ask you for a tip.

I would Highly recommend this Baber shop they did a great job at cutting my hair and shaping it up. Each and everyone one of these barbers are super patient and they do a great job at making sure that they cut your hair right. The person that cuts my hair often is Moe and he cut my hair exactly how I wanted it.

Asked for a skin fade I got my sides done and the back was left half done. I asked to have it fixed and was told next time and still charged 40 dollars. The original owners never left my head like this and wouldn’t have a problem making it look correct.

Went there for the first time and at first I thought it was a valid cut, but when I got home and gave my son a bath there was literally a bald spot on the left side of his head. Very disappointing, especially the fact that I tipped the guy too. Not the type to even write reviews but this is ridiculous, was told $15 on the phone for a 4y/o kid haircut, when I get there they say prices changed to $20, how did it change in a matter of 2 hours cause I called the same day! ... Never again.

Went to plenty of barbershops before and nothing tops the work done in this one. Sam is an excellent barber and it shows with his cuts. He also cares for his customer to make sure they are satisfied. Excellent barbershop.

It was my first time in this shop tonight. I was greeted by Sam moments after walking in the door. Sam took the time to understand my expectations and stopped often throughout the cut to make sure he didn’t take it too far. He understood what I asked for and delivered! The shop overall is very neat and clean with comfortable sofas for you to enjoy while you wait. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a good cut.

The barber Alex that works here is the best of the best. He gives the best fades, and shapes the beards amazingly. Also does great threading and waxes. Definitely ask for him when you come to this place.

Up & Up has provides amazing professional barber services. I have been coming here for over 2 years now with Alex who is very experienced. His work speaks for itself. Give Alex a chance if you haven’t done so. He provides exceptional service. I never had to wait more then 5 mins for haircut. I message him earlier and get the time estimate for my haircut!

Been coming here for years. In my time in NJ, I’ve been refused service at 5 different hair dressers. As a trans guy, it makes getting my hair cut unnecessarily difficult and stressful. These guys have never failed to treat me right and make me feel fresh. Thank you guys. I hope I can find a place as welcoming as this when I move back west.

Used to be a really good spot to go, very good haircuts and professional guys who know what they’re doing. Problem is they become popular, when I used to go to their old place they would spend 40 min taking there time making sure it was perfect, when they opened this place I went almost every 2 weeks bc they were good and it was a fun place to be. Over time they would start to rush things and spend no more than 10 min on a haircut, send me to new barbers, ask me to come back, it became about getting as many customers and making new ones happy, but in the process the increased their prices and left their old customers to dry. Can’t support that anymore

Ask for “BIDDIES” the best barber in New Jersey he’s off Wednesday’s though, he also sells the best beard oil and hair/beard balm made with organic and natural ingredients! It’s called Habibi Oil(beard oil) and Habibi Balm I don’t use gel no more I use the organic and natural Habibi Balm, that is benefiting my hair like thickening it, curing my psoairis, and making me go from ugly to cute! Hahha :D
