The service itself was excellent, but the phone chat to get it scheduled was not. The lady said the computer was having issues, and I had to repeat my answer three or four times on every question she asked me. Still, I plan to call back next week to schedule a quote on a new furnace. Let’s hope the computer is fixed…

Mike, Keith and Nakota were very professional, courteous and prompt. I have not worked with a more kind and professional group. We had them install a gas line for a new gas stove. The price they quoted was easily the best quote we received from several plumbing companies. We were very impressed and highly recommend them for any job!

On very short notice, Airstream Plumbing & Heating had a representative estimate the cost of replacing a nonfunctional swamp cooler with a newer larger one, plus add two new drops in our unit , add a new dual directional cover on the existing drop , as well as install a new wall mounted dual control thermostat. This was from start to finish completed in a matter of a couple days.. Thank you Airstream Plumbing & Heating. Well Done.

When the techs came out they were an hour early. I was not home and they didnt call me before they came. They looked at my hot water heater and told me I probably need a new one, which would cost $2,200. They narrowed it down to needing a new burner unit, which apparently I was supposed to call whirlpool and order (I used a different company to fix my fridge and when a part needed to be ordered they did it for me..go figure). They also told me it would cost $337 to install the unit when it came in. And that they are scheduled out another month anyway so basically they were sorry they couldnt do more, that I would have to have another company do it. Fine. The part arrived the next day and my husband installed it. I also had mentioned I had a drain that was clogged. I was told they couldnt do it because they dont have a snake..WHAT!!! Anyway, my husband was able to repair that as well after we had hot water. My husband works out of state and thankfully he came home in time to take care of all of this. This makes me question whether or not to use this company again.

Air conditioner quit right in the middle of the first heat wave for Grand Junction on June 8th. Stephanie was able to have a technician out later that morning and Mark had us back up and cooling off within an hour. Excellent service and wonderful people to deal with. I have had their service plan for the past two years and the technicians are always friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The technicians always take the time to answer and explain any questions I have. Mark returned on July 6th to do the annual air conditioner maintenance from the service plan so I am set until the Fall when they will perform the furnace maintenance. Highly recommend Airstream Plumbing and Heating!

I highly recommend Airstream. They are very professional. I called and spoke to Robin and she was very attentive and helpful. I have a remote property that they were happy to go to. I sent them pictures and they were able to see what they needed before coming. Robin was great at returning calls and responding with helpful information. The technicians were very clean prompt and professional. This company is really good and I highly recommend them. I spoke to four different companies and these guys won my business and I am so pleased with their work.

Mark installed and has maintained our central AC/heating systems for three years. He is knowledgeable, professional, punctual, thorough, and friendly. If he was not sure of a problem or solution, he would return to his office to research and get back to us promptly. He always explained to us the technical issues patiently and thoroughly and in language a layman can understand. He has great people skills. He is one of the best technicians we have ever dealt with anywhere.

Jim replaced my evaporative cooler and was very professional and had the old cooler off and new one installed and up and running in a relatively short time. We have used Airstream Plumbing and Heating about four times now. I am elderly and I trust these guys implicitly. One time our AC broke during our 100+ days and they were here in a short time to fix it. I am so pleased I found this company. They fix what is needed, come on time, and always explain what they are doing. I enrolled in their service contact for a nominal fee which gives me a break on the cost. The last employee they sent was Jake. He seemed young to me but he really knew his stuff! Explained what he was doing and what needed to be checked. Before, when I needed to call a repair person, I would hold my breath and pray they would be honest and fix the problem. With Airstream, I know they are honest and fix the problem.

I am so glad we had Airstream clean our Breezair Evap cooler. The smoke from the fires left a thick residue on the inside of the cooler that Larry and his apprentice cleaned by taking the whole cooler apart. They provided the before and after pictures and it is now ready to start up in the Spring. Thank you so much, it was a bargain, especially considering the consequences of leaving it dirty.

We really appreciate all the time and effort Mike and Larry and another guy (I can’t remember his name I’m sorry!) put into helping fix our broken AC unit. Update: They called me and the issue was resolved. The customer service is amazing.This company is really nice and professional. However, they charged me almost $250 just to diagnose the issue. They quoted me $3,500 to fix the problem. I got a second opinion and the second company charged my $0 to diagnose and $350 to fix the issue. Ac works great. I am glad I did not have airstream plumbing and heating do the $3500 repair.

Your receptionist is extremely rude and in my opinion you should hire someone who lets a customed finish a sentence before cutting them off. I called to say that I chose to go with a different company who was available sooner and was free of charge for a quote and that my fiance forgot to cancel the service call and i didnt even get to complete my sentence before being read the riot act about your policy and procedures for the 68 dollar turn away fee and how my time slot could have been used to help 4 other people who she had to turn away. Soo grateful I chose to go with a different company. Your service man was very nice when he showed up and was understanding. Please hire a new receptionist who isnt rude. I know all calls are recorded.

The short answer, for anyone not wanting to read a novella, is I am very happy.Three technicians actually dealt with our issue. Mike, Kyle, and Josh. Our issue started the night before Thanksgiving, so we waited to call until Thanksgiving day. We had a call back within an hour, and an appointment the next day. A lot sooner than I would ever have expected. Every one was kind and understanding, even when we had odd e-mail issues, dealing with my plethora of questions, and my general ignorance on the topic. If they tired of any of it, no one ever showed it. I will continue to use them in the future. In the past, I had a different plumber, and had to use an alternate plumbing company here and there due to time and availability. Every appointment with Airstream has been at an earlier date then what I had come to expect was reasonable for a plumber. I requested estimates for a few options, and received very complete and detailed line item estimates. The work came in just under the estimate, making me feel much more confident in the value. Like I said on the outset, I am very happy with their work.

Airstream was able to quickly schedule a maintenance visit for us. Kyle showed up on time and had everything to do midsummer maintenance on our cooler. We were so impressed we signed up for a maintenance plan.

Outstanding and personalized service! When our baseboard heater failed one very cold morning, they offered to loan electric cube heaters in case a technician was unavailable that day. However Cory appeared within a couple hours, and immediately fixed the issue. He was very courteous and left no trace of his effort except a better functioning boiler. He pointed out other neglected boiler service items, cleaned and adjusted everything at a reasonable cost for the time and materials spent. The office manager also checked in to ensure we were warm and happy. They also allow online payment for services - great for landlords!

I called Airstream on a Friday and they were able to service my swamp cooler the following Friday. I’ve had Airstream service my swamp cooler quite a few times. They always do great work and are very courteous. It’s their busy time of year getting everyone’s swamp cooler going. They double check everything before they leave your house. We were struggling with another plumbing company that had bled us dry with awful service charging us with parts that were not needed and pretty much knew nothing about our boiler. We just bought our new home a day ago, and moving from an apartment to your own home,we didnt know how to turn on the pilot on this new model water heater. The previous owner told us tha Airstream Plumbing & heating did the installation for the water heater of the house. I asked how much money for coming over our house to help us with our problem, very nicely and professionally, he said I will walk you through it. I was amazed!! They were earlier than the the appointed time and called to say who was coming .once george and bill arrived they inspected the water heater and explained my options. I told george if they wanted they could get started the same day on installing a new water heater. Two hrs later the new heater was installed with new expansion tank new stainless steel water lines and a new gas line. They cleaned up hauled off the old heater and was done in about another 30 min. Never had a contractor that got things done so quickly

Great Service

High winds blew out the pilot light on our furnace and even though we could light it, it would not stay lit. I found Airstream online and submitted a request on their website. They called me back in about four hours and we scheduled someone to come out the next day. They let me know upfront that there is a $78 dispatch fee and that they would let me know what was wrong and the cost to fix it before repairing anything. Larry and Eric came out and confirmed that the pilot light would not stay lit, so we needed to change the thermocouple. I agreed to the repair and they used a camera to make sure there werent any cracks before continuing. Everything looked good, so they cleaned my entire furnace and replaced the thermocouple. After the repairs were complete, they waited and made sure that the furnace was running appropriately. I enjoyed talking with them while they were here. They even wore the little booties over their shoes to keep my house clean... I appreciated that. :-)

Mike, Airstreams owner, and his son, Neil, went the extra mile to figure out why our American Standard heating and cooling unit wasnt producing the expected airflow. When the problem proved difficult for their staff on the first couple of appointments, Mike and Neil showed up in person, found the hard to spot piece of insulation, which was blocking the return air vent, and soon set everything to rights. Better yet, they made certain my family wasnt charged for previous visits. Mike stated that he and his son were in this business for the long haul. They wanted to do right by their customers, build long term relationships. This is an HONEST, locally owned and operated business, the kind you can depend on to be fair and to make sure they stick with it until they get things right.

Mike came out on a weekend to fix a leak in our attic and he was able to successfully trouble-shoot an issue that had stymied another plumber. A short time later, my water heater gave out, and even though his estimate was not the cheapest one, I hired him. He and his crew did a beautiful job installing a tankless water heater -- and while he was here he also crafted a solution to get my ailing boiler working again, and didnt even charge me for it! This was after a couple of other guys had been out to look at the boiler without success. Mike is not the cheapest plumber/HVAC guy around, but he is exceptionally talented, thorough, and hard-working. I will definitely hire him again.

I will start off by saying they came by when they said. Then after that their was nothing. I need my bathtub replaced. Estimated at 3600. Was told I would get a call back or an email with more info. Never received a call or an email. Called back the next day to see if I should just look for someone else or what was going on. Was told Mike was out of the office she would give him the message. Still nothing. If you dont want to do the job just say so. Dont tell your customers you will check into some things and get back to me when you have no intentions of doing so. Lol then after I lost this I get my estimate and its a thousand more than quoted while here. Why would I pay 1400 for a run when i can get one for 200 at lowes?? Thanks for absolutely nothing airstream!!!
