I booked a 15 box truck a MONTH before I was meant to move. When I showed up to pick up my rental, I was told that U-Haul had overbooked and the person who had my van hadnt returned it yet. They had nothing within 20 miles to give me, meanwhile everyone around me was being given keys to their rentals. I had people waiting at my house for me to move and all they had to offer me was a $50 voucher. Luckily for me, one of my friends has a truck with a hitch. The ONLY trailer that they had available was a tiny OPEN trailer and I had to buy their specific connector thing to make the lights work for an additional $15. Instead of the truck I had booked a month in advance and showed up on time to pick up, I had to take multiple trips with a trailer that left a lot of my furniture dirty and scratched up from the ratchet straps (it looked like oil or something had been spilled into the back of the trailer and never cleaned). The employees there were trying to help me but their managers didnt care even a little bit about solving the way that they had screwed me over. Absolute worst moving experience of my life, itd be worth the extra money to drive to a further away U-Haul location, though intentionally overbooking on the first day of the month on a SATURDAY is absurd. 0/10

I was very nervous about my move from Cleveland to Denver, CO and had to visit this location several times to consider options and making appts etc. The men who assisted me were always very kind, helpful and cheery. Thank you to Randy, John, Brandon and Michael for all your assistance. From ensuring I found the right parts and suggesting the best fitting items to keep me safe. Thank you all!

Is 12:48 I been waiting for 30 min to get gas propane workers at the tes doing nothin and I he’s owner now and doing nothing they need to be fayer don’t work well

I love this place they always are easy and accessible for whatever I needI would recommend this place to whoever needs a trailer or a truck they even have Vans and pickup trucks

Every time i rent a truck mileage is wrong. Or gas. When i tell them they get a attitude. Here today. Trying to get propane filled. And four people are inside sitting. And three people are with me waiting in the rain. Everyone has asked to be helped more than once... this location has went down hill. What happened scott?

Not a lot of parking there is handicap parking available. Understaffed, the salespersonnel was very friendly and tried to be helpful and ask questions to make sure that they could help you before you got to the counter. Quick easy access plenty of shopping in the local area. Quick access to the highway. Plenty of gas stations mom and pop stores in the area.

Wont let you pay cash at all . Makes you use your bank card, while their system is terrible. Still havent got two refunds in over a week and they charged my card a week later for another 100$. When I call they say its a system error to wait a couple of days for my money . Never using uhaul again. And still havent got my money, no one knows anything over there

Great experience, quick in/out, no bs. This is hands down the best U-haul location.Kieth came out, thumped my tires, gave the truck an all around thorough inspection. He handled my return professionally and in a timely manner.Til next time.

These folks took care of me. I rented a 5x8 trailer from this location. I installed my own trailer hitch the day before, but before I installed the wiring harness I wanted to be certain it would hook up to the trailer and that U-Haul didnt provide their own. It turned out I needed to install it myself. Rather than make me go all the way back home to get my tools and install it, Mike from the garage let me borrow theirs so I could do it on the spot. He pointed out the areas I needed to disassemble to hook it up. Saved me $60+ in labor, and was genuinely happy to help me out. Thank you again!

I wish all Uhauls were this friendly/efficient. Kieth is a cool guy. The van was clean and everything we needed.

They cancelled my truck reservation the morning of my move— I was supposed to pick up at 9am and I was trying to pick up at 1025 because I was waiting for my movers to be ready.It did not say anywhere that they only hold a truck for one hour on weekends (that’s what they told me the reason was). Called Penske and they got me a truck right away.

Worse customer service skills i have ever experienced. Horrible communication skills amongst the staff.

The clerk at the front desk was horrible, and I mean horrible! I’ve never experienced such bad customer service. She left me standing waiting to be served for a long time without acknowledging me , I was the only person in there . When I asked her if she was going to help me, she was very rude telling me that it was supposed to be her day off and she shouldn’t even be there..she also invited me to wait five minutes until her quitting time to fight! I have never experienced anything like that in my life! Needless to say I took my business elsewhere and was treated with respect and excellent customer service

Another move with Clark U-haul, another great experience. This is by far the best U-haul in the Cleveland area. Their customer service is excellent and they go above and beyond to ensure your moving day and the days leading up to it are easy. Thank you! I will be back.

I had no problems with renting or equipment. It was fast and I was done in 5 minutes for both pickup and drop off. But the service I received from the staff was horrible. They were rude and disrespectful. They didnt acknowledge or talk to me. Had no sense of customer service or hospitality

Service was terrible. Had a student from out of town wanting to retrieve his items from summer break. he was told they offer no assistance. I helped him get his belongings while the workers sat around. make sure you bring help when you do come for inside storage.

Terrible service, Emily Snyder was very rude and unhelpful. Her colleagues were no better. I would not recommend this place to anyone who values customer service and wants to be treated respectfully

THIS LOCATION WILL TRICK YOU INTO GETTING MORE MONEY OUT OF YOU. I was called before my scheduled pickup time for this location, being told that I can come pickup my reservation early. Returned the trailer at the original scheduled drop off time. The employee failed to inform me that picking up early moved my drop off time earlier and when I called to get the double charge fixed they stated their is nothing they can do and its not their fault.

Waited 20+ minutes to even get truck. Once I finally did receive vehicle it did not have the furniture pads in it that I ordered. They never got them to me. Once I got my bill it still had the pads as being charged. Poorly run!

We arrived to find that our reservation had been cancelled & the truck we “rented” given away. When we reserved our rental I reserved it for 8 hours under the impression that as long as we had it back by the return time it was fine. The confirmation receipt I received didn’t state that our reservation would be cancelled if it wasn’t picked up at the reservation time.Honestly that wasn’t even the upsetting part. The woman behind the counter looked absolutely miserable to be there. She was not polite nor pleasant and honestly quite rude. This was all before she even told us our reservation had been cancelled and once she explained that to us I asked for her assistance to find another rental and she said there was nothing she could do. She only provided us with the 1800 U-Haul number.Then she walked away from the counter and proceeded to laugh and joke with a co-worker.I understand that it wasn’t her “problem” but her attitude made an irritating situation and ultimately a miscommunication even worse.

Company didnt update my address. They threw out my stuff after I paid them for years.

Staff is lazy and untrained on filling propane bottles. One week they fill it then the next week they don’t, stating the bottle is expired. Brand new fittings on a tank must be a clear sign that it’s no good. Please train your employees so the service you offer isn’t a waste of someone’s time.

This place, by far, is the only place in Cleveland worth using. Gary was really helpful. He went above and beyond. True professional and a nice guy. Highly recommended.

Emily Snyder was very rude to my fiance and I the day of pick up and drop off. She had a nasty attitude when asking for help when we picked up our reservation and an even worse attitude when we came to drop off the van. We wasnt told exact directions from when we picked up the van that if we bring it back before they opened, what we should do. We saw her coming out the building and tried to asked and she was very snippy and gave us serious attitude. She never informed us prior of directions and want to get smart when we ask. She shouldnt ne working customer service at all! I will never do business there again!

It’s says your usually not busy around this time(1pm) but I was on hold for 30mins just to be transferred to a customer representative at a call center who was little to no help she couldn’t even find me in the system, so when it’s time to pay my monthly fee for my storage I would like to hear that same reply. Terrible customer services I guess I just have to drive 40 miles just to ask a question.

This is my first 1 star review. This U-haul gave a completely awful experience. My friend scheduled a truck and after everyone showed up for the move, Clark U-haul failed to provide the truck or any alternatives. Meanwhile, many trucks were waiting outside to get returned. It looked like they were under staffed and incompetent. We never got a truck which wasted everyones time and was a big problem for moving.

Today is 1/11/2018 Guilma/wilma or however you spell it was very rude back in December, told me to clear everything out in 24 hours because a settlement was made I paid my $154.00 and w.e was left in storage will be taken to auction so I said okay, I left a t.v there that I could not carry because I am 3 month pregnant, a huge problem became of this because I left the t.v when it was clearly told to me in person and on the paperwork that w.e was left will be taken to auction I get a call from April about 3 days later saying that Guilma/Wilma said that she called me and I said I would be back to remove the t.v which I never said that and even offered to show proof of my call log and how I have not received any call since i signed the settlement and payed the money I owe, I send my aunt that same day I got the call from April to remove the t.v and they told her no i need to remove my own t.v while she is telling them i am pregnant and i cant remove the plasma they obviously didnt care. This was back in December, I check my email today to find out I had an email from uhaul saying I owe a balance and it was due before the 15th of January 2018, I go on my lunch break today to resolve the misunderstanding and she tells me pregnant or not I can carry the t.v because she was 7 month pregnant doing her move in, it was extremely disrespectful to tell me that when I have lost 2 babies before because of high risk!!! crazy thing is while she called April to come grab me to take the t.v down because my aunt came to help me she is making hand gestures saying please just take her away I dont want to deal with her anymore how disrespectful is that? while I am right in her face... and more was said but I do not want to stress myself writing this review all I know is I will not be back!!! you are welcome Guilma! dream come true !

FIRST, THE MANAGER APRIL IS A JOKE. SHE IS NEVER AT WORK OR AROUND TO RESOLVE CUSTOMER ISSUES. AND THESE PEOPLE CHANGED MY DATES ON MY UNIT THAT I HAD OVER 3 YEARS . OH AND LAST THURSDAY, I ARRIVED BEFORE THEY OPENED AND WHEN I WENT TO MY UNIT I SEEN A MAN AND WOMAN GETTING WASHED UP IN THE BATHROOM AND SAW THE MAN COMING OFF AN ELEVATOR IN HIS BOXERS. CLEARLY PEOPLE ARE LIVING HERE.!!!! I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE IN THIS MANNER. I REFUSE TO RENT HERE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3/31/19 @ 12:00pm we were ignored by a very rude woman. She was probably understaff and dealing with weather issues, but that is still no excuse for her behavior. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Honestly I will never return there just to not risk encountering her again.
