You get what you pay for. I addressed some of my concerns about my issues with this place via email along with my move out notice. Thank youBelow are the issues I had with this apartment and what I sent to Montlack:I was satisfied with the grounds and walks. My repairs have been taken care of promptly. I am moving because I want something more updated. This particular apartment needs repairing. The windows are very old. Air slips through easily and it gets very cold in here. I had plastic on my windows the whole winter. The bathroom, mainly the tub was an issue. Theres mold around the edge and instead of replacing it, you all use plaster. The kitchen needs work as well. The floor is terribly stained. Under the cabinets, below the sink, its damaged and it smells. The whole place can use a paint job. The stove, which I hardly used, has food inside of it. I thank you for allowing me to stay here, but its time for me to move on. Warm regards!Again, you get what you pay for. I dont recommend Montlack at all.

Very Affordable. But its a you get what you pay for type of deal. Ive been calling for no heat for a month. Had to escalate to calling the Bldg Dept. They only solve the problem when you explain that they are violating your tenants rights.

I requested a showing for apartments on Van Aken Blvd. Upon meeting the showing agent Kathern I asked did the real estate company she works for own all of the apartments on the Van Aken strip because I was interested in viewing the other apartment communities? Kathern informed me the company did own all of the apartment buildings on the left and right side of Van Aken Blvd. and they did not have any vacancies on the upper Lee Rd. area by Van Aken and Warrensville Center Rd. I am online searching apartments in Shaker Heights and the buildings I was inquiring about are online and are not all owned by MONTLACK REALTY and the buildings do have vacancies. Honesty and integrity are important for a business to strive not lies.
