The lady’s do a great job

I went here a few days ago. It took forever to do my nails. I wanted medium length white acrylic nails with a pink design. He cut them to short and he didn’t file them all the way to there square shape .He put the wrong sized nail on my thumb and middle finger. He also did a poor job with the design.DONT GO HERE.

This place is disgusting. They charged me $20 to remove dip powder. They didn’t even file down my nails or shape them all they did was remove it. Very overpriced for the service and quality of the salon. I do not recommend and I will never be going back again!

Not only can I get an appt when I need to but they are virtuous, kind, efficient and professional! They have been doing my nails and my family’s services for over 20 years. I appreciate them greatly!

The woman who did my nails came off a bit rude, but I get everyone has off days so it didn’t bother me much, I still tried to be friendly. I said very specifically I wanted stiletto nails, even showed a photo. She starts shaping my nails ROUNDED. I sheepishly say “umm I’m sorry but can they can be pointier?” So she fixed that, but she ended up cutting them down much shorter than I asked for. Then I go to pay and it was $70!! I told her but when I called and asked I was told it would be $35, and she claimed because I asked for ‘pointy nails’ it was more. I usually pay $30-$50 for this same exact nail shape and color, so I was floored that it was this expensive. The next day my gel was already starting to peel off the acrylic. Definitely not worth the extra money I spent, and won’t be making the same mistake again.

Decided to go here instead of my normal studio because I was in the area and John Roberts didnt have any openings for a few hours. Pedicure was decent, not great, not bad. When it was time for my manicure my nail artist cut my fingers in three different places while trying to cut my cuticles and ended up gluing my wounds together with NAIL GLUE to stop the bleeding and told me to come back tomorrow for him to fix them. After this experience I didnt particularly want to go back there so I just pulled the dry blood off myself and now have three partially done nails (corner of my pointer finger). At this point I wasnt going to go back but wasnt planning on writing a negative review. Today, two days later, my thumbs both turned yellow??? Not sure why this happened but havent experienced this before at any other salon...

Best experience at nail place ever!!!!

I am visiting from Boston and I made a Gel appointment. The cleaning went fine but the nails looked like I did them. Paint all over my hands and just felt rushed. My friend got dip and they didn’t even clean her nails prior he just started to dip.The prices were outrageous for the quality.I would never go back and I am not picky person.

The nail techs here simply just cannot do nails! Lady did my pedicure good, but the polish application was BAD! Male that did my gel manicure cannot shape natural nails properly and I left the salon with polish on my skin!Should be shut down honestly. Just is in a convenient location

I asked to get my cuticles cut. The guy who I think is the owner was going to charge me 18.00. I walked out. He is the middle aged Chinese man who sits at the front desk. I told him but you charge 19.00 for a full manicure. You are basically charging the wrong prices for a simple quick service and they arent even good. It is always a long wait and I hate when they start applying polish in the middle of the nail and not the sides. They need to be corrected. Save yourself the trip and aggravation and skip this place. Rude owner, and unfriendly manicurists, and horrible customer service. I wish there was a review for no stars.

Do NOT go to this place! I had the worst manicure of my life here . The lady filed my one nail so poorly that she filed a cut right into my finger from sawing back and forth! And, to make matters worse, she didnt even have any disinfectant to put on my cut. She used some blue liquid that has salicylic acid in it which although probably did the job, is not what she is supposed to do. It is a health regulation that they keep some sort of disinfectant at the stations for just this thing. I also am willing to bet that she did not disinfect the emery board she used on me even though after cutting me with it, it had blood on it. (I wish I would have watched what she did with it afterwards) She didnt even acknowledge what she had done to me, just kept working. No apology or anything! Additionally, the 2 women working there only spoke in a foreign language (not sure if it was Mandarin or what) but they didnt speak to their customers, just to each other. I know this is typical of oriental-owned nail salons but its so rude. Im more worried about the health violations (the ones I saw and the ones Im sure I didnt see) than the customer service issues. I paid for my polish change but I did not tip the woman. I will never be back and I am considering filing a report with the Ohio Board of Cosmetology.

I was very pleased with my service here! I normally dont leave reviews but this place deserves 5 stars. I went to just have my nails removed from a different salon, the guy talked me into getting a new set put on. After telling him i had sensitive fingers, he was so careful and gentle throughout the whole thing. I got a plain square acrylic set with purple polish and he shaped them PERFECTLY. Theyre so even and natural looking. He did the perfect length for me as I work in healthcare and asked for them to be short. This is the best experience Ive ever had with any nail tech. Will DEFINITELY be coming back next time!

This location is convenient, so I’ve been here before and had an okay experience. This past time was awful. Despite an opening time of 10am, no one arrived for nearly 10 minutes, and then that employee didn’t say a word to me as she walked by to open the door. My nails also look VERY sloppy. I could have done better by myself at home. I’d suggest going elsewhere.

The worst! My sister and I was desperate on a Saturday, we both had manicures. The manicure was good but she struggled putting on my nail polish, it looked as if my 5 year old did it. I could live with it because I can fix it at home but the big problem was by the next day both of our polishes were basically gone.Fast forward to Friday. We come in to get them corrected and they made us feel so uncomfortable. I will never step foot in this place again.They also tried to say a mani only last 3 days. I’ve been getting my nails professionally done for 10 yrs, before gel even hit the market. If a mani only lasted 3 days I guarantee you I would not have spent my hard earned money over the years.

RUN will never go here again!!! As soon as I got into the door they said ,,(WE DONT DO POINT NAILS) like that’s what I was asking for (THEY LOOKED At The COLOR OF MY SKIN) instead of saying hi,,, what would u like done today!!!!!????(VERY RUDE To assume what I wanted do before I even open my mouth) I would never go here again!!! I’m in town visiting relatives and wanted a spur of the moment pedi. I was hesitant to come here based on previous reviews but am glad I did. Two other places I had gone to in the area before had waits longer than an hour. I walked in and was taken right away. The salon was clean and they used disposable liners in the pedicure tubs which I really liked. The staff was friendly and they did an excellent job and took their time on my gel pedicure, and the price was not bad either. Definitely give this place a chance!

Pretty good. In the last 3 years I might have had 1 time that I wasnt happy with the way they did my polish on my toes. I recommend them.

Customer service was terrible! Not one time did the younger looking lady make me feel comfortable. I know what it’s like have good Customer Service when getting a pedicure and this was not it. Pedicure was rushed not paying attention, on her phone plus the maintenance of the store is disgusting

I got a mani/pedi. Gel on my finger nails, regular polish on my toe nails. The polish was laid to perfection on both.

Went for the 1st time today and I am not pleased with my nails at all! I was too annoyed to sit and have them fixed, uneven polish, uneven shaping and the nails are bumpy looking. I just want to scream😫🤯😠

I made an account JUST to give a review of this horrible place. **this place deserves and have earned NEGATIVE STARS** No one greets you upon entering. I was shocked when I sat down I said hello to the nail tech and she did not respond giving a very non chalant gesture as if providing the service that people are paying their money for was a burden upon interrupting an empty shop. Rolled her eyes a few times and I politely told her I would not be spending any money with their establishment and should really work on her customer service kills. BEYOND RUDE! Completely shocking the kind of atmosphere they are providing PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SPEND WITH A SHOP THAT APPRECIATES YOUR BUSINESS. Everyone women deserves that while not only paying your hard earned money but also wanting a friendly experience. They. Are. Awful!!

This place is asking for a lawsuit the way they choose to operate and lack of basic human rights. If you dont want to be disrespected and injured by someone with the skillset of a toddler then stay far far away. Seriously. Save your money and time. All the 1 star reviews were right. Smh.

I walked in to check pricing for a basic manicure. I was greeted by a woman in the first chair to the right who asked what I needed, I replied by stating manicure, but i was going to check your brochure for prices real quick. My comment was recieved with a comment between 2 staff and then every employee in the shop started laughing at me with full eye contact from everyone... as they continued to laugh. I then put the brochure on the counter and turned around... quite shocked to be honest.They laughed even harder and said things amongst themselves that I did not understand due to a language barrier...I could understand the laughing if theyd seen my feet, but we hadnt even gotten that far and didnt even plan to have that service done today....Never ever going back... I will not spend self care money in an establishment that prefers to belittle people.Maybe they wanted to go home early on a Friday? Just tell me that... I wouldve understood completely.Also, the shop looks filthy- so... jokes on them.

Yep, reviews are correct. It was a terrible experience all around. The nail tech took about 30 minutes total to remove gel polish and do a gel manicure. She rushed so much that she roughly scraped my old gel off, peeling the top layers of my nails completely off, got polish all over the place, and even made my cuticles bleed. The whole thing was so messy that I had to file off some of the mess once I got home. Spoke the entire time to the other nail tech very loudly. I made the mistake of coming here because my normal nail place was closed - never again.

WOW! I live up the street, and decided I would try this place out for a fill in and pedicure. Before I could even write my name down an EXTREMELY rude guy says to me we dont do that nail here. So without even asking what Im here to be serviced for your telling me you wont service me. I guess the coffin shape of my nails is what he was referring to. I would have stayed and gotten my pedicure but they obviously didnt want me here so I left and will NEVER be back. Sad because Mayfield has no good nail salons.

Came here with my daughter in-law for both of us to get a manicure and a pedicure. Everything was okay until I asked to see their maintenance cleaning log due to me being diabetic. All of a sudden they were full and a log was never produced. People beware.

THE WORST. Cant just point one thing but everything in there is not even worth single star- the service, the cleanliness, the way the manicure is done, applying the polish, literally everything. would never plan to go back.

Worst place! Got a simple gel polish change and it was so sloppy and rushed. No one was even in there and she rushed through them like it was such an inconvenience . And a few of the nails are still sticky and not set right. Terrible!

If I could leave ZERO stars I would! It was my first time going to this nail salon. The techs were NOT friendly. Ithink the manager did my gel polish. It was all over my fingers because she rushed and was VERY messy. I would NEVER go back or recomend this place to anyone. I wanted a more expensive service but Im glad I listened to my first mind and did a trial run by getting the gel polish. There will be NO next time at this place for me.

I had a full set done, and the guy burned my fingertips while using the electric file. its supposed to feel pampering, not painful....

Proceeded to use a Brillo like sponge to scrub my feet and caused the blister to bleed and burn and no discount was offered. Had to pay full price to get injured during a pedicure!

Had me sit down in the pedicure chair like they were about to start. 45 minutes later I’m still waiting. Meanwhile some other people come in for a manicure and they get started right away. Terrible and a waste of my time.
