SPECTRUM SUCKS! Internet always had issues and they didnt cancel my account when I called to have it canceled. Got a bill 1 month after I thought it was closed and disputed it. Was told account was credited and closed. I then received another bill 1 month after the dispute. Seems my account was prorated and rep never told me. DONT TRUST SHADY SPECTRUM.

From my experience, your wifi will go out for about 24-72 hours at least 2 times a month and there will be no updates when you call. They will day the solution is to send a technician to look at the problem, and one will. After the technician comes you will be good for a few days and then your wifi will not work again. I live in a major metropolitan area and buy their most expensive package. They have told me on the phone before my internet speed is slower than they would expect for a customer who pays what I pay after I used their internet reading tool. The first tech they ever sent out about 6 months ago, when we started having issues was shocked no tech ever came out to our property before him. I have called their hotline before only speak to someone who says they cannot help me. It is very frustrating to basically lose money to keep their internet product in Cleveland, Ohio. I am writing this to warn future customers, do not buy this product. We are currently on hour 15 of no internet here and there has been no resolution or even an attempt at one by Spectrum even after calling them. I just want to use the product I paid for.

Aviod this ISP as much as possible. Ive heard they have decent service if they are forced to compete within your building, but since they have been my only option, internet speeds vary from okay to non-existant. The VPN I need to use to do work (to pay them in the first place) has no connection regularly through them, and the internet speeds vary wildly enough that playing games online is torture on the best of days. I swear I had a better internet connection when it was 20x (5mbps vs. Spectrums 100mbps) slower in another state just because you could actually rely on the speed, rather than this trash.

Went to the Spectrum store toA. Return the modem they installed @ the Transition House I had previously lived in &B. Pay my last bill with them.I was greeted by a very polite, professional & beautiful black woman named Monique who helped me w/ paying my bill, then she introduced me to her colleague, another white, polite & professional young man named Christian who helped me in the return of the Spectrum modem I still had from my previous home.Monique then escorted me to the entrance / exit door & wished me a good rest of the day. I told her ditto.A very positive experience!

Worse ever. When I signed up I got the highest speed. They said my bill would be around 80 a month but if I purchased box for local channels ( not cable) then my bill would only be around 60 a month. Why is my bill 100 every month? And it gets better .. when they came I paid cash for the installation. I was also wondering why there was a additional 115 on my bill, they said I never paid the installation fee, I said yes I did. How do you think I got your service turned on? So she took it off the bill, well its been a year later and that is still on my bill. I keep telling them what happened and that the woman was supposed to take it off never did and they still cant tell me why Im paying 40 dollars more than what I signed up for and the internet sucks. And they told me I have to pay the 115 that I already paid for. I told them to go to hell.

Absolutely the worst customer service ever have I experienced in my life at this store. I have been without internet and the spectrum call center said to go to the store to swap out the modem. I walked into the store they had none. I asked if another store might and they said great northern was out and I could try Beachwood. I asked for a phone number or if they could call for me so I dont have to drive out there and they said the stores dont have phones. I have never felt so mistreated at a retail store in my life.

Signed up 4 months ago. They offered me a wifi package that included Spectrum Mobile and specifically told me my ENTIRE bill would be 49.99 every month. And it was......for one month. The next month, they started taking out an extra $20 every month. Is that the worst? Nope its far from over. Today I went to go pay my bill thats due on the 23rd of every month because I always pay my bills early......my bill was suddenly $110 because they claim I didnt pay it last month. I remember paying it and I went and checked my bank account....sure enough, the monthly bill had been taken out along with the extra 20. Now they want me to pay an EXTRA $110 for something I ALREADY PAID FOR? No. Im cancelling NOW. I will NOT spend ANY more of my money on this business. And the more people that refuse to do business with them, the more itll hurt them. Yall better learn to stop giving these businesses your money when they treat you like this.

Literally the WORST internet provider I’ve ever had. Surprise fees, hardly any notice when the monthly subscription increases, no prorating for canceling mid month even if it s 3 days within the cycle. The best part is their customer rep will tell you that the bill is prorated until you get the bill a few weeks later.These guys are crooks and their employees get bonuses for ripping people off.

Spectrum told us to go to the west side of Cleveland across from the West Side Market to drop off equipment. Cleveland Heights would have been much closer and faster. It would have been in a better neighborhood with much less traffic. The service at the store was okay.

Spectrum is the only option in my building, and they really treat it as such. If you can’t switch to someone else, they don’t care about you. Their speeds were slow enough to convince me to upgrade, and my connection has actually gotten worse, even after a tech visit. Add in the fact that outages plague this company. If you’re looking for somewhere to live and see that spectrum is your only option, find somewhere else.

The first year price was fair. After that...the price continued to increase each month. To top it off the internet speed decreased but price increased. Called to discuss price and customer service wanted to give me less channels and slow internet but at a decreased price. Gave them their chance to make right...I called and got a faster internet speed and more channels than what they were offering for less money. Shame on spectrum. Im giving them 2 stars because I did not have a problem with outages, otherwise they would of gotten 1 star.

Know your billing cycle because when you cancel they dont tell you and if you cancel a day after the cycle ends like I did they charge you for a full month. Way to treat a customer of 8 years.

Internet was pretty goodThey asked us to return the box to one of their locations and had us wait in a long line for 2 hours outside and had to beg my boss for time off to sit there as I thought it was a simple drop off.Unbelievably bad return policy, regardless of the internet speed this left a terrible taste in my mouth.Do not recommend them at all

Since spectrum took over in the last year, my bill has almost doubled, speeds the same, and it goes down 4-6 times a month for an entire night... I loved Time Warner, but Spectrum is a joke. If any other internet company services your area, I recommend checking them out first

This location is usually jam packed. I have stood in line over an hour waiting to pay my bill. There have been occasions where customers have gotten close to fist fighting eachother or the employees of Spectrum. Also they had a sign in system where the customer enters their information on a computer screen which doesnt work properly 98% of the time. Or the customers are confused and dont understand how to follow the instructions. The only good point is that is located close to where I live.

Absolute worst cable provider in the Galaxy. Their products are terrible. Programs hardly record and those that do rarely play. Features frequently do not work. DVR, on demand, even the guide are hardly in operation.If you decide Spectrum is the best TV option for you, you will pay MORE for your service and features to NOT WORK . Then good luck trying to get service to help you or a refund for the plethora of issues you will encounter. Do yourself a favor... keep looking for another service provider.

Yes, maybe other countries have cheaper and faster internet, but this is by far the best internet provider Ive dealt with, and Ive had about 5 different providers over the years. I did have a problem for the first few days, but they sent someone out and fixed it with swiftness.Im from the east coast, and this internet is about 3 times faster than Comcast and Verizon. Ive gotten download speeds faster than I ever saw before.Thank the gods you dont have to deal with Comcast.

Thursday of last week I get an alert that our internet went out. I called Spectrum on Saturday to have someone come out and fix it. The technician no showed on Monday. I called again. Today the technician shows only to tell me “this issue is above my pay grade and I am going to need to send someone else out”. Still no internet. TimeWarner and Spectrum are the freaking worst. Never use them.

When it works its good... but if you like too pay a 150+ dollars per month too have a landline phone that you never use and too reset your own boxes every week by yourself because the guide wont show... and also have your internet suddenly drop then reconnect... well u will get what you were expecting... I had an outage 3 weeks a go... it was almost a full 7 days and 4 technicians visits before they figured out and fixed what was wrong....the technician destroyed one of my plants after i asked him if i could move it... he was so hyper he nearly dropped another 2 piece plant pot and on top of ALL that.... they left the keys to their van in my apartment....since then my internet is spotty and my cable even worse... im sick of being ripped off

My Uncle is 84 years old, he has spectrum. He only gets paid once a month having fought in Korea and Vietnam then coming home and working for 45 years. He was told that they can not make a payment arrangement because HE IS NOT DISABLED BUT RETIRED! How does this make sense now he is at home 84 years old NO PHONE, NO TV BEACAUSE YOU CANT EXTEND HIS SERVICE FOR 4 days until he gets his pension and social security check????
