Took pride in their work and made sure I was good with everything they did inside my apartment. Even cleaned up after themselves and made sure I was able to connect my devices. I have been using Snip Internet for over a year now and the service has been great the whole time! Any outages are communicated quickly via email, and the service team is great about responding quickly to issues you are having. The price for 1GB speeds is the best in the area, and I actually get those speeds unlike other companies that advertise them. Also, they speak the truth about only charging a monthly fee. Starting service was unbelievably quick and easy. All employees I interfaced with were responsive and friendly.The only reason for knocking off one star is because the router that was supposed to be in my apartment when I moved in wasn’t there.Rance came out and installed a new router soon after though. When renovating an apartment building in Detroit for young professionals it was important to us to have the best of the best for technology on our site. Snip Internet (which at the time was RocketFiber) was a fantastic choice. Great experience. There was a time mixup (my fault) and the tech, Todd—who arrived exactly on time—had to wait around 20 minutes for me to arrive. I’ve used a variety of internet services throughout my brief time on this earth and Snip has been the BEST by far! Internet was reliable every minute of using their services. They also charge a reasonable affordable rate compared to the terrible competitors. Unfortunately when I moved I could not take them with me as my new place had a different building wifi contract. Dan was very helpful in assisting with cancelling my services and did so in a reasonable amount of time. I will surely miss the professional and reliable services of Snip.

Rocket fiber started off great. Twenty-four hour service. They were always there to help.And the staff was great. Very helpful and technical to really get things done.But when Snip took over the availability of service dropped to 9 to 5 about.At least the same great staff was there.Also, I was shocked that an internet company would send an email out with a hot link requesting to put in my personal credit card information.That is shameful. Please fix that.Even the non-internet companies dont do this.

Very poor customer service. They don’t respond to email. They don’t work on weekends, so if your wifi goes down Friday, it won’t be fixed until Monday night.

Seriously the worst internet provider I have ever had. Unreliable service that drops for days at a time. Since October 2020 - December 2020 I have had multiple outages that have lasted for days on end. They literally offer ZERO assistance past hours. So if the internet drops on Friday at 5:01pm. Expect to be without internet until 9:00 am Monday morning. They are honestly a joke of a service. A colander with some metal chopsticks pointed at a random satellite in the sky would provide more reliable service

Snips idea of having a technician over first thing in the morning apparently means no earlier than noon. This is the 2nd day consecutive day, because yesterdays troubleshoot didnt take. Meanwhile, we havent been able to connect to Wifi and work, watch tv or listen to music. Wish our building allowed another provider, but were stuck. Too expensive for this BS.

Ive had Snip Internet for the past three years and its been a great experience. When I moved in to my apartment, the unit had already been set up by my landlord and my account was ready to go, making it a seamless experience. Their local and personal customer service have been great to work with over the past three years when Ive had to update payment information etc. and I love not being locked into a 12 month contract. Great service, would recommend.

Because of this pandemic I have to work from home therefore I need the best possible WiFi available. I have had calls fail multiple times while on the phone with very important clients, making me look extremely unprofessional. For what I pay, you would think we would have the fastest and most reliable WiFi in the world but it’s less than subpar. I would have never chosen this company if it wasn’t for our apartment forcing us to use them. If you have a choice... RUN.

First they told me a time for an appointment multiple times but then gave that time out to someone else in the short amount of time it took to respond. Then they finally come after a couple weeks and say they can’t get a connection(in an apartment building that they service, and have it on their website). Terrible experience overall and a complete waste of time. HIGHLY suggest using any other internet services out there

Wifi goes in and out all the time. Speeds are much slower than advertised. Also, they NEVER pick up the phone.

The set up for snip was easy, however, their business hours are not accommodating to their clients.For an example: your average person works 9-5 or whatever. Their business hours are 9-5 and the last technician that can be sent out is at 2:30 PM.Why should someone have to leave their job because the internet is messed up on SNIPs end? Especially for the people who work hourly.. thats two + hours of lost working time or more.

Ive used SNIP for three years in my apartment, and am moving at the end of the month...my one wish is that I could take them with me! This company is EVERYTHING I want from a internet provider, and NONE of the stuff I dont! (No, AT&T, I dont want a landline, no I dont want cable, no I dont want cable internet or DSL!)Their staff is also great - super responsive to emails, professional, friendly, and actually knowledgable! Unlike the larger companies that will field your calls via randos in a call center with a script and zero technical knowledge or training, SNIP always connected me with people who could cover my questions, or would get me to someone who could. I never once had to explain anything to the person I was on a call with or sending emails to - they always knew the problem and how to troubleshoot and fix it.I honestly dont understand the one-star reviews - my experience with SNIP has been consistently phenomenal for the past 3 years! They quickly respond to emails, and return calls promptly. Most importantly to me, they proactively communicate any outage, and work to resolve it and return service so quickly that you sometimes do not even know it was out. And honestly, it almost never goes down. Unlike cable, satellite, and DSL, you dont have to worry about common outages during inclement weather.Market priced, fast, fiber-based internet with great staff to work with, and no one trying to upsell you on stuff you dont want or need! What more could I possibly wish for?
