I moved in just over a year ago. I renewed my lease because I love this place. The apartment is pretty spacious and because I live in the top floor I have vaulted ceiling’s. The location is perfect to get just about anywhere. Close to all the restaurants and shopping centers. The amenities are awesome. From the multiple gates throughout the complex to the gym 2 clubhouses and the 2 pools. Which I truly enjoy having around. They even have a car wash. But the one thing that absolutely sets this place apart from the others Ive looked at is the staff. The ladies in the office are incredible. Always there to help, answer any questions, and just make you feel at home. I would definitely recommend this place if your looking for a place to rent.

I lived at The Retreat for a little over 5 months. At first my experience was amazing! I felt safe and well taken care of while living there. I even had friends moving to the Cleveland area and I immediately told them that The Retreat was the only apartment option they should consider. My issue with this establishment happened after I moved out. MONTHS after I moved out. Try 8 months. I had an unpaid balance I was never made aware of. In fact the day I turned in my keys I asked “Is there anything else I need to do or pay for before I move back to West TN”. I was told no and that they enjoyed having me as a resident. After this I never heard a word from anyone at this establishment. No letter, email, phone call, or text. The next thing I know, 8 months later, I got a call from a collections agency saying I owed $500. $400 to The Retreat and $100 to the agency. My first reaction was that I was being scammed because I was told by The retreat 8 months earlier I owed nothing. On top of this, the payment that I “owed” wasn’t even half of what I paid a month to live there. I called The Retreat and was told by the woman working the desk that I had “been called multiple times”, “sent multiple letters” and “sent multiple emails”. None of these things were true. In fact, I asked her to repeat the number, email, and address that they used to try and contact me. None of this information was correct but it had been correct in the past. To say I was Furious is an understatement. In order to save my credit I paid the collections agency and asked for the The Retreat to call me the following Monday, so that they may correct the mistake they had made at my expense. One year later and still no word. This place is only concerned with screwing you over and taking your money. Don’t waste your time.

Moved in on Saturday and I am in love. Our room was in clean condition and the staff is always helpful! Maintenance requests are fixed in a timely manner. Definitely recommend to first time apartment renters and college students.

I have loved living at the retreat!! If we didn’t need to be closer to Chattanooga we would definitely stay longer. We haven’t had any issues with any of the staff, other residents, any building issues. They’re very good about keeping us updated if there is something we need to know. Our building did have little room for parking for everyone but this complex feels so safe, it isn’t even a huge bother to walk. I would definitely recommend living here!

This apartment complex is easily the best complex in east Tennessee! Absolutely wonderful maintenance crew, I would trust them in my home any time. Everything is extremely clean and we NEVER had a problem with bugs. Everyone picks up after their dogs, and we never had a noise issue. The complex is gated and very safe, their are a huge amount lights so we could take our dogs out no matter how late at night it was. The courtesy officer and on call maintenance after hours were always prompt to help. The office ladies were helpful but we did have a misunderstanding at the end of our lease that cost us quite a bit of money. Otherwise I am leaving a 5 star review because you cannot beat the quality of this apartment complex. Just READ everything in your lease and do not just take the word of the ladies in the complex for it.

Loving it here so far! The staff at the front office have always been super friendly and accommodating, and the facilities are beautiful! The inside of the apartments are spacious and clean as well.

I enjoy living at The Retreat at Spring Creek. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The office staff are receptive and the maintenance crew responds readily and all are extremely respectful. My home is spacious and comfortable, It is wonderful to spend less time taking care of a house and concentrate on living life. My neighbors are very friendly and I have made so many new friends and am enjoying meeting more people all the time! Even my pup, Bella, loves The Retreat! After 1 year here, I renewed for another 15 months. I would have renewed for 2 years, but this was the longest option they had!- Rating: 5.0 stars

We have had a wonderful experience moving in to the Retreat. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating! The office staff made this an easy and enjoyable move in.

We have lived here for over a year now and we love the community, the amenities are great the area is safe and its convenient to everything. The staff has been really great to us and we have always felt welcome here. if you are looking for a great place to live that is safe and very nice to live in I recommend this place without reservation. The only suggestion I have is I wish it were a little more kid-friendly and a little less pet-friendly they have play areas for dogs but no area for kids to play a playground would be a great addition.

I absolutely love it here! So far I havent gotten to take advantage of much amenities like the pool, gym, trail, clubhouse, ect. But when I do I will be head over heels 😍😍 Just being here in my apartment is the best feeling ever, looking out the window and lighting my amazing smelling candles and relaxing is enough for now.

This is the greatest place to live, staff is friendly and the maintenance crew gets things fixed fast. Love calling the Retreat home. Would recommend this community to everyone.

Just moved in here yesterday. So far I’m loving the amenities they have. Everyone seems nice so far. The only I do have a complaint about is how dusty and dirty our front door was and how I had to come in a start cleaning straight away. Also found a beer can in my outdoor closet space and old mail on top of the refrigerator. Just seems odd.

Living at The Retreat at Spring Creek was the best decision I made for my senior year at Lee University! The staff have been nothing but kind, helpful and welcoming. I feel safe and comfortable. The apartments are beautiful and I love having my own laundry machine right in my unit. Stay is worth the pay!

SO far its been amazing. Everyone is helpful and the complex is beautiful. The view from my apartment is so pretty. The apartment was clean and cool when I arrived. Very pleasant. Residents there seem so nice and the pool area is lovely. My boys love it there.

I have lived here for a couple of years and I absolutely love it. Maintenance comes quickly, and everyone in the front office is so kind. I had a package delivered a week early, and they offered to go get it and put it in the front office for me. I am thankful for this apartment complex!

The staff is super friendly and very helpful. There are some great apartments. One of the best parts about the location is the walking trail that goes right from the apartments down to Lee University. It makes for a great 3 mile walk.

The Retreat at Spring Creek is a Beautiful apartment complex. The people living there are very nice. I lived there for about 7 months. I had to move due to work. I am giving 4 stars because my experience there was good and bad. I first walked on the property on a Monday. I set up an appointment to view a 2 bedroom apartment in 2 days on Wednesday. When I showed up for my appointment, they informed me that the apartment had already been rented. A phone call or an email would have been nice. They said that because I hadn’t put in an application to rent the apartment, that I had not seen yet, that it was open for someone else to rent. The application is a non-refundable $200. They said another 2 bedroom would be available in a week and a half. They agreed to show me the one that was just rented. I saw it and liked it so I filled out the application. When I arrived to move in, the first thing I noticed was that the refrigerator was beat to hell. All dented up and scratched up. I ask what they were going to do about it and the girl showing me the apartment said “Nothing”. I said I want a different refrigerator and she said they don’t have one. I noticed other things that just didn’t seem right. When I went into the bathroom I saw a bench in the shower. I said what is this here for? She said that this was a handicap apartment. I said I want a different apartment. She said there was nothing she could do. I was getting frustrated. I went back to the office and asked to speak to who was in charge. Reanna Howard said that was her. I sat down with her and she listened to my concerns and what I expected. She immediately started moving things around and got me a great 2 bedroom apartment with a beautiful view. I was really impressed with her.I filled out my move in report of things that needed fixed. I waited a couple months as I kept asking when these repairs would be taken care of. I kept getting the run around. For instant, the gate that cars drive through is right off the side of my balcony. It started creaking really bad and it opens and closes constantly. I asked on a Thursday morning if they could lube the hinges. Friday afternoon I saw one of the office girls and asked if maintenance got the message? She said yeah, but that they had gone home for the weekend. I thought, they drive through this gate several times a day. It would take them a minute to spray the hinges. So I ran to the store, bought some PB Blaster Lube and sprayed the hinges myself. It took less than a minute to spray the and they remained silent ever since. Another example, my carpet to the kitchen and both bathrooms was peeling back. I let them know when I moved in. I told them that the carpet tacks were exposed. Sometimes I would step on them with bare feet or get my sock caught on them. 2 months later they still had not addressed this. I finally went to Reanna and she immediately took care of my issues. I guess you just have to go to the top. Reanna is really great at taking care of issues. They just need to get her some better help. I ended up putting threshold strips in to secure the carpet myself. Reanna did reimburse me for the cost. Over all the apartment complex is a really nice place with nice amenities. I do recommend this place as a place to live. It feels very safe and clean. If you have any issues, be sure to ask to speak to Reanna Howard. Ram Management needs to give her a Huge raise. They can’t afford to lose her.

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful with all of our needs. We feel so safe here and love the overall community. Would recommend it to anyone!

Amber and the staff there are just the greatest people. They all take personal pride in how well they have that place running. The staff have a genuine care and concern for all of the tenants. Its a great community and worth every penny.

Maintenance is so friendly and welcoming. They are diligent about having your request fixed as quickly as possible as well as keeping the grounds looking nice. The office staff is nice and willing to help in any way they can. Community group announcements are sometimes missed or not communicated well, so be willing to get clarification. Overall, enjoyable experience.

I lived here last year and have been reflecting on how it was an ideal living situation now that Ive moved. The management was incredibly friendly, any needed maintenance was taken care of within a reasonable time, appliances worked well, and it was very quiet. They have good rules that keep rowdy people out. I would not have lived anywhere else. The pools are very nice as well!It is also walking distance from Lee University (you can take the greenway).

We have been here since May and absolutely love this place! The ladies in the office are second to none! They literally treat you like family! The community is also second to none! Home sweet home!

Overall a great experience. Feels very safe. Leasing office is friendly and maintenance comes quickly. Everything is kept up super well! Every now and then, neighbors barking dogs are annoying but its mostly fine.

My yorkie Bentley and I love it here. Everyone here is friendly and courteous. The staff is great and are always willing to answer any questions you may have. The staff always let you know of any maintenance or upkeep to your apartment schedule, so that you know the dates and times of any that staff will be in your appartment. The grounds are kept beautiful and the apartment itself is beautiful. Conveniently located to shops, gas stations and restaurants. Great place to live!

I lived here for 2 years in college and it tore me apart moving away. Such a friendly staff, from front desks to maintenance. The apartments are amazing and so well maintained. Would recommend this highly to college students and even small families!

The facilities are nice and I love the staff they are awesome but we most likely wont be staying much longer both my apartment and my truck have been broken into along with 2 other residents vehicles thats just the ones I know of I have only lived here since January I wish I could stay but me and my wife no longer feel safe here.

I lived here like 2 years ago and I absolutely miss it. I honestly felt it to be my home all the maintenance staff and Reanna at the front office I miss this place because of them they made it feel like my home. I am currently trying to find a house to buy and live in at Cleveland, TN because I had such great memories there. If I could rate it a million stars I absolutely would.

I have lived here for about 9 months. Everything was good for the first 6. I have been parking my truck in the same spot for several months, and for some reason people wanna start complaining now. I park in this spot because I have a bigger truck an its out of the way. Im really glad I have less than 3 months till I can get out of here. Cant come fast enough.

Customer Service is great (that is why I gave it a one star). We had a roach infestation and our neighbor across the hallway saw black rats from time to time in the hallways. You have to ask maintenance to come spray your apartment and if the people around you dont get maintenance to spray every couple of months then you will have the same problem we had.

Dog Problem - I was attacked my a dog onsite a few months ago. Many people had complained about this dog being aggressive. Nothing was done. Now, another dog is consistently roaming free, making it unsafe for residents, their pets and their families. This is NOT luxury living.

Everything is amazing and above and beyond any expectation I had, except the abysmal parking.Parking aside wr have lived her going on our 2nd year and love it. It is by far one of the best appartment communities in Cleveland. The staff are friendly and polite. The maintenance crew is fast and knowledgeable. The pool is always clean. And the apartments themselves are nothing short of fantastic. I could see us being here for another year easy.

Reasonably priced apartments with a lot of amenities. They have a contract to do internet exclusively with AT&T though, so beware.

Not had one good experience visiting friends at this place. There is always some problem with parking or the security harassing for no reason other than they are bored I guess.And to add. I just left tonight from visiting my boyfriend and was harassed by the rude ppl that live there. Not one person has been nice to me any time Ive ever been there. This is a horrible plc to visit. I wouldnt want to have to be around those rude ppl everyday. Also nothing about this plc is luxury. Everything is the cheapest of the cheap. Dont ever move here!!!!!

This review is coming a bit late as Ive been moved out for a decent enough period now, but I feel the need to post it anyway. First thing I will say is this place is very overpriced. Lived here for a few months, due to issues with a family member passing right after the lease was signed we were unable to afford the place. Thats fine and all, not their fault, but we were strong armed, lied to and threatened during this process which made nothing easier.For the astronomically high (for the area at least) rent youd also expect better. Towel racks were loose and the bars barely fitted in, nearly every cabinet knob was loose and needed to be screwed in, the washer/dryer combo included was very dated equipment with minimal space inside. The dishwasher was horrid at getting dishes clean regardless of how it was used. Gnats and other bugs would also periodically get into the apartment despite it being kept very clean. Overall for the price, youre not getting a good value at these apartments. They wanted all dog owners to submit DNA samples at will at one point for feces testing, instead of just trying to have their employees monitor things and earn their paycheck.Overall, its a ritzy, overpriced place that is kind of janky and the employees dont give the slightest damn about you or any issues you face. They did absolutely nothing to try and work with us and the VERY DAY they were able to evict us, they did. Luckily we were already on our way out and had another apartment, but that didnt stop their outlandish threats.If you collect a big paycheck or salary and just want to give off the appearance of living in a classy area, all while not minding to fix and tweak little things that shouldnt be in that condition to begin with.. sure, live here. For the other 95% of the town, avoid this place at all costs. The worst part honestly was how we were treated by the staff, I never felt like I was talking to a human being, it constantly felt like I was speaking to the Retreat at SC employee manual.. and none of those girls working in there give a damn about you. The place also didnt seem to have very good insulation and overall the quality of pretty much everything just came off as far cheaper than a place of this rent cost should be. Though, all of this pales in comparison to the issues with the staff.We were also lied to at one point about being able to downgrade to a smaller one bedroom unit so we could try to afford it with one of the lease tenants deceased and all, but we found out later this unit was not even available until MONTHS on down the line, another one of their lies. They also, one several occasions, promised to get back in touch with us and never did when issues arose. Once they literally told us to call back in 30 minutes, with 30 minutes landing on a time five minutes after they closed. These people are snakes. Was also harassed by a neighbor at one point because of one of our cats meowing, despite it happening very infrequently.. and this lady had kids who constantly stomped around above us and left toys and bikes laying everywhere. Even in front of doors at times.These people are liars, and for that reason alone, you get one star. Dont bother trying to contact me to change or remove the review rating.. youre stuck with this and I hope people see it. I will not respond to any contact attempts, so dont even try.
