We are grateful for Youth Counseling Services. Our whole family was helped. We were respected and heard and taught lessons we will apply for the rest of our lives. The support we received has made such a difference. We grew and we are in a much better place now than what we were in before we started counseling. Counseling is hard work, but it is so worth it. We have nothing but praise for our counselor, Lindsey, and the staff at Youth Counseling Services. They are wonderful and were there for us when we needed them. Eddie & Susan Jones

The childrens counselors were knowledgeable, skilled, and friendly, and instrumental in empowering my child to find techniques for dealing with anxiety. The office staff were efficient, and very patient when I needed to bring a younger child into the waiting area. Recommend for Cleveland residents looking to help their kids gain autonomy surrounding emotional skill.

This place is amazing. Dr Vinning and the counselors who work there are very supportive. They teach life lessons that my children will use from now on. They help the entire family get through the tough times they may be facing. My family went there for two years and are doing much better with the help we all received.

I have never in my life felt less cared about or met such an unorganized and uncaring organization. I made an appointment, and my hour session lasted 10 minutes, because they overbooked and were 15 minutes late for my appointment. After being told that since she didnt see me for the full time they wouldnt charge me the full amount, they still charged me. Then, I made a second appointment, and after waiting for thirty minutes I left. The third time I called they ended up canceling my appointment. I called today trying to give them one last chance thinking it could be human error. Instead of trying to book me or Caring about my situation at all I was told that I had a balance for my intake I never received. Then, after explaining all of this to the supervisor she said well maybe you should consider going somewhere else. Brenda who is in charge is uncaring, and treats people like they are a dime a dozen. Wow just wow.

I took my parenting classes here and have to say Im extremely pleased. Everyone there was very courteous the entire time. I learned so much from the sessions. Anything I had questions about they would answer, they always listened, but more importantly they cared. I would highly recommend this place, and thankful for all that I learned there!

My sister was trying to get her two older boys into this program, because not much is offered in our area, and we were referred by a friend, from her moment with this place she was treated horribly. Over the phone when making her intake appt, the lady never told her she could not bring the children. So, that day my sister checked her two older boys out of school, and along with the two younger boys, they went to their appt, the lady named Dianna was very, very rude to her, because she brought the children, and just made her feel really unwelcome. She decided to not base their company off of one bad apple. So, she returned for a second visit, where she had to bring her two younger boys, the baby is breastfeed, and she has a toddler that is 2. Seeing as how this place is income based you would think they would get that she can not afford to find a baby sitter to watch them, not to mention the baby is breast feeding and can not be away from her for long periods of time ( the appt was to take two hours) Dianna was once again rude to her, for no apparent reason. In one of the incidences a male counselor walked by and noticed my sister struggling to get her paperwork done, and offered to help her. He took her into a private room, and proceeded to help her where the two younger boys were able to play with toys. Dianna came into the room and said very rudely they can not be in there, because it was not age appropriate toys. I mean, really? Well, she still set another appt to speak with the dr, and today, the lady Dianna called her and told her they could not help her ( this is without them even meeting the children and figuring out what they needed help with) So, my sister demanded to speak with the director and apparent owner of the program, and the lady said you can not come up here, we had complaints on your children, from other clients. So, she asked to speak with him via telephone. The lady was so rude, and pretty much told her she couldnt be seen there, because she has kids, thats it. She said she would have the director call. My sister wanted a reason why, and the lady said they are a private business, and reserve the right to refuse anyone they see fit. And, that the director agreed to not seeing her. I am very upset about this whole situation, my 8 year old nephew, prays to god to kill him, my ten year old nephew acts out in anger and violence. These kids need help, and the last time I checked this was called YOUTH counseling center, how can you refuse to see someone, because of the fact that they have kids???? NO better reason?? Dianna even said our facility can not accommodate four children. What does that even mean? And, I called myself, because I wanted to know why. She was of course very nasty, and told me it is not my concern, yes my nephews are my concern. I demand something be done about this, and I will do whatever necessary to see that this be taken seriously, and I mean anything. You have messed with the wrong concerned auntie. Dianna is a despicable person, and should not be allowed to work in a field that is to help sick children.

The counseler would not pray for me because I go to a different church. I need one to pray for me and help me with my problems or I would not take time off work and pay a lot of money to get help.

Dianna should not be employed in an establishment, that is about helping people overcome mental health issues. She is very rude, crude, etc. Wouldnt recommend this place, period. And, the director is a joke, as well
