Unskilled and inattentive - I requested my hair be kept long as I was growing it out, no more than 0.5 of the top. Upon getting started, the barber immediately cut down the top of my head with buzzers leaving me with less than inch of hair. In retrospect, every guy I saw walking out of this place had close cropped hair, so i should have foreseen that they didnt know how to cut long hair. The day after, Im noticing that I have errant long hairs sticking out all over the sides of my head that the barber missed. Havent had a haircut this bad since a poor decision lead me to great clips a decade ago, but at least I only paid half the price then for that mistake.

Every haircut with Ryan turns out great. Whole shop has a fun & edgy feel to it. Prices are honestly lower than they should be, every barber seems to do great work. Highly recommend.

Every one in that place is great at what they do, Ive seen it from the chair as I get my hair cut. But my guy, is Joe. Ive been going to Joe for 2 years now? Ive gotten everything from high and tight to maintenance cuts as I grow my hair out. Half the time I barely know what to ask for and he reads my mind.Thanks Joe.

Great haircut but not what I wanted. I told my stylist more than once not to cut out my ears. The back is shorter than any male I know. Loved the atmosphere of the shop.

UPDATE:Was contacted by the owner and was offered to have everything cleaned up and corrected. Was impressed by the way it was handledBarber seemed rushed through the whole process, finished a 45 min appt in 30 minutes and didnt offer a razor cleanup on the back of my neck. I think this is the worst haircut Ive gotten in years (including quarantine from my girlfriend), would not recommend. Definitely will not be going back and am looking forward to the 35 minute drive to my old shop.

Been going here since they opened and used to use their services when they worked for someone else who will remain nameless.Their shop is great. You’re seen on time, the place is always clean and you get the cut you want at a competitive price.Best of all they’re good with their customers. They know you by name, remember what you like, and keep a great atmosphere which is why they’re usually packed.Sad they can’t cut beards during the reopen, but it’s out of their hands thanks to the virus precautions. I know they would if they could.Bottom line: trust them, make an appointment and get that quarantine mop fixed. Now.

The sharpest shop in the CLE. All the guys (and gals) are great. Always look forward to getting a cut here and listening to the banter - especially if you’re a music person. They offer more services, like straight razor shaves, than most in the area and do it with pride. You definitely need to come here if you live in Cleveland.

I’ve been going to Ryan for haircuts ever since I moved to Cleveland 6 years ago. He is hands down the best barber I’ve ever had and is an even better person. I’ve followed him from east side to west side to downtown now back to the west side because his cuts are unbeatable. I’ve recommended him to a number of friends/work colleagues, all of whom became regulars. Ive followed three of their barbers from a previous shop and love the environment theyve created. Its always a good time and theyre on top of their game. I go in for beard trims and occasional shaved head and theyre always on point.

They make me less ugly. Ryan is the only Barber I will go to since moving back from Chicago 5 years ago (besides needing a quick clean up from Pat or one of the minions now and then, great job from them too)

Leah took meticulous care of an undercut trim for me. It was nice to have attention paid to what often treated a mindless quick task by most stylists.Instead of shaving it down one length she took the time to fade it and make the haircut Ive had for ten years look better than it ever has.

Ive been coming to Pat for almost 2 and a half years. Not only is the guy personable and well-rounded, but hes also great at giving haircuts. The price has never changed even with him and Ryan opening Black Cat. If you cant get Pat, any of the other guys (Ryan, Dave, and Joe) give a great haircut as well and can talk if youre looking to. Until I move away from Cleveland, these guys have my business and if you get the chance to get your haircut here, youll probably become a lifetime customer too.
