Id give them a 3.75.I like the availability of there service...When most other places say they cant do it or let us call you back...Or just simply not answering calls...Kufner is usually available.BUT, they are INCREDIBLY EXPENSIVE.And they DONT budge on the prices, no matter how the circumstances play out.

Amazing, fast and friendly. Responded to my friends call for help when no one else in the Cleveland area could tow him. Even towed him to his home town for what I think is the most incredible price I’ve ever heard of in a long time. My experience is if it was over an hour away it seems they always start around one thousand dollars, with tax was less then half that amount. They were very professional when they showed up and my friend was totally rescued by the crew from Kufner Towing. James did an amazing job.

I contacted Kufner about a load we needed transported and the rep stated they had capacity to do it the following day. I questioned the availability since it was so quick but he assured me they would have capacity. We made all the arrangements on our end and were informed later that day that Kufner was no longer interested in the load and we would need to make alternate arrangements. Given the service we received and unwillingness to assist even for a higher rate I would advise anyone who has a definitive timeline to seek an alternate carrier.

I had a flat tire on the highway. I called my dealership and they sent Kufner to help me out. They asked the situation a deemed it an unsafe area to change my flat they took and my car to a safe area and within 10 minutes of their arrival to taking me to a safe location I was back on the road. I would highly recommend.

Had a rear tire blowout on my motorcycle. Packed down for a lengthy trip. Driver they sent took lots of care to ensure a good tie-down, kept a sharp eye on the bike, stopping twice to re-tie, knew how to correct why the bike was moving.Vey professional.

Roadside assistance sent a towing company that was unable to assist because of difficult circumstances. i called roadside back and explained difficult situation and a short time later Jerry from kufner arrived. he hopped out of his tow truck and without hesitation and 100% confidence he walked toward the problems and issues and 10 minutes later my problem was resolved and my car on the way to be serviced. jerry is an experienced professional that has probably seen it all. he gets the job done. thanks to kufner for employing such an excellent individual.

I know that most of the time, many people have bad experiences with tow companies because of illegal parking or traffic stops with police. However, on two occasions, I was able to call Kufner and for $75 or less get a vehicle towed to an auto shop from my apartment or from the street where the axel broke to my home and then to the auto shop. So my experiences with Kufner have been A1 during this tough Covid Pandemic.

Car was towed, maybe.... asked for someone to call(kid on phone was rude to my wife about it) when it was being picked and never got a call, but called several hours later and some rude **** answered and said yeah its done. As long as it got there will be nothing other than poor customer service.

Do not allow them to tow your car . $300 worth of shoes taken from my car and a cell phone. I been calling for three weeks trying to figure it out and all I received is the run around . Located about a half-mile from where I work, Mike arrived promptly and expertly towed my car about 25 miles to a repair shop in Twinsburg. He used a light-duty wheel lift tow truck, which in my case is the only way it would have worked. My front wheel drive Ford Fiesta would not start nor shift into neutral. A flatbed style tow truck, which is the most popular way of moving passenger cars, would not have done any good.For reasons that I wont go into, later that evening, I had to call Progressive Roadside Assistance two more times. In both cases, the drivers both brought flatbed style tow trucks, which were completely useless and wasted everybodys time. Even though I specified to Progressive customer service rep, No flatbed, it didnt make a difference.Im not posting a review about Progressive Roadside Assistance. My whole point is that it is really important for the local towing companies that respond to Progressive Roadside requests pay attention to the details specified in the email attachments. Kufner was, indeed the only towing company that took the time to solve a problem with the right equipment and common courtesy which made the entire experience worth leaving a 6-star review(Google only has room for 5).

Kufner towing was excellent to work with. Arranged for a long distance tow with dispatch, who was pleasant to talk with. Driver showed up quickly and assisted pushing a ford f250 out from behind my house to tow it. Price was reasonable and the driver was very professional and friendly. I highly recommend them and I will definitely be using Kufner towing for all of my future tows.

Terrible customer experience. I was towed for a snow ban in Lakewood at 330 am. Not only did I have to pay to get my car out and a ticket but they damaged the under carriage of my car and it’s been three days of trying of just trying to get the manager on the phone.If you have an option, stay as far away as possible from this company.

My niece had a flat tire she called her insurance company they sent kaufner towing out to get her vehicle fixed. they towe her off the road to a parking lot by her work .the tow truck operator could not change the tire because he said he could not get the spare off the vehicle, the short of it is she called me for help I went out and helped her got the spare tire off the vehicle yeah I would agree that it was not easy to do that but the tow truck operator should have been more than capable of changing her spare tire for her instead of just towing her to a parking lot and leaving her .very disappointed in service would not recommend if thats the way youre going to treat your customers

I needed to have my car towed from Ohio City to Lakewood on a Saturday morning. The dispatcher was very friendly and quoted me a price of $64 for the tow and within 25 minutes pickup. Within 10 minutes I recieved a call from the driver saying he was only two blocks away and he would be there shortly. Upon arriving he was very friendly and professional and treated my car with care. He accepted credit cards and even provided me an electronic receipt within minutes. I really likes that the drivers take a few photos of the car prior to even lifting the vehicle provides peace of mind and sense of ownership.

I was broke down with a flat tire, could not get spare tire lowered to install. kuffner was on site in 20 min!!!!!!! driver was extremely professional and knowledgeable. best tow company around.

Today I was traveling on Interstate 77 North bound when a large, Kufner semi tow truck was tailgating me. This was at 6:30 pm through Independence. The speed limit is 60 mph and I was traveling at 64 mph. This reckless driver pushed me to 75 mph and was still tailgating me so I moved over from the middle lane to the right lane. He blew by me at 85 - 90 mph. The driver could have passed in the left lane but he intentionally wanted to terrorize everyone on I-77. This jerk was tailgating numerous drivers at 85 - 90 mph. He was driving so reckless, Im surprised that he didnt kill someone. He was driving like he wanted to. From other reviews it appears that Im not the only one that has experienced dangerous drivers associated with this business.This business should be investigated.

Because the driver left without asking me for payment, Kufner called my phone 24 times within 11 minutes from 3 different phone numbers, and sent a text saying they were going to impound my car, even though the repair shop said they would pay the bill. A tow was arranged for the next day and they were given the vehicle, where it was (in a garage) and what was wrong. First, the driver showed up without the proper equipment but it was not a big deal. When the vehicle was loaded, the driver got into his truck and drove away without payment. I called the repair shop immediately and they said they would pay the bill. Before the driver talked to the shop he called me about the bill, I told him the shop would pay it. He asked me to hold on while he checked with the owner to confirm, and came back on the line and said okay. The shop owner had an account with Kufner and told the driver to bill them. Sometime after the driver left the shop apparently the driver called the office and told them and they said the bill had to be paid now and started calling me and the shop owner. The shop owner paid the bill with a credit card and 24 phone calls and 1 text message later they realized they were paid. I replied to the text asking for an apology and got nothing.

Extremely rude on the phone. I canceled the towing.

!!!WARNING!!! horrible customer service, rude staff, high prices and predatory towing are just some of the reasons to stay away from this company and why you must take your business to another towing company. Our rv was towed under some very questionable conditions ordered by Lakewood PD. After a week in impound the tow yard.fees were almost $1k and our RV is currently our home with all of our belongings which we werent allowed to access until the tow fees were n paid,>immoral(our family consists of my husband, me, our son &daughter... not to mention that Im 3-4 months pregnant) Our RV was also damaged during the tow and no one at Kufner has tried to help resolve the claim for damages and they havent even provided us with before and after pics for the tow.

By far the most progressive towing company around! McDonalds could learn a thing or two about customer service from this place. I parked in the seedy Lakewood neighborhood and when my car was not there I thought for sure that it had been stolen. To my relief, it was towed since I had parked illegally. When I picked up the car Sean took great care of me and made sure that all of my questions were answered.Kufner towing is the gold standard of professionalism and customer service. They are a pillar of the community and more businesses should strive to be like them.

I have unfortunately had to use the outstanding services of Kufner three times this year so far. I got nothing but great things to say about every one of those times. They are always friendly courteous and if you are like me and tend to get real anxious in these times just relax. The wonderful staff at Kufner have you covered they wont leave you stranded. I have never had to wait more than 40 minutes from the time of placing my call for them to come hook up and tow my vehicle away. They always have their drivers call as they leave the shop so you never have to feel forgotten. They tell you how long till they arrive very convenient and courteous. They really care about you as a person and not just as a customer. If needed they will give you a ride to their shop or wherever you are having your vehicle towed. Ive used a few different tow services but I feel best when I use Kufner. Big thanks to them keep up the good work Kufner you rock.
