I just completed my first auction with 2Cents as the seller. The only reason I didn’t rate this a 1 is because it’s my own fault for not going ahead and looking at the items. Almost everything I picked up had some defect. Scratches, chips, dirty and moldy. I have a set of 10 collector plates which are trash because they have some sort of spotting baked into them. So here’s my issue. They must have taken the best photo of the best angle for each item and said nothing in the description. I got a watch box which looked clean noise but the corner was damaged, no mention and several pictures on line suspiciously avoiding the damage. Again it’s on me for not previewing but there’s just so much wrong that it should have been labeled fine collectibles all damaged sale. There was another buyer who was taking a small table home and you could here him and see him pointing out a big nick in the top he obviously didn’t expect. Very disappointed. BUYER BEWARE.

Saw many items that were very obvious broken, says it is just paint in the description, gemstones with cracked stones and no mention of the damage. Who describes item 2cents or seller? Never buy sight unseen, they unloaded tons of junk on unsuspecting buyers. Other post says they upbid for their retail shop so your a reseller you dont really get a deal. If you win the bid there is a reason you most likely paid too much. Thinking of them for an estate sale? If its a junk lot buyer just takes what they want and leaves the mess behind. If it is valuable they dont show great pictures of it so they can put in their resale shop they? They must resell themselves in there resell shop where the true value is known.

This is the best auction I have ever been to. I have been going to it for over 3.5 years. I was actually working at a thrift store that got a flyer from them and I decided to check it out. I havent missed many auctions since my 1st visit. I love the 53rd auction house although they host auctions at other locations. They always have clean, desirable items which makes the auction fun to preview online. Then we get to go on the auction day and bid on things. I highly recommend this place to anyone who just got a new home or just want new items in your home. I find the best furniture and home goods here. The staff is so friendly and seem to know everyone by name. They offer a delivery service which is great and they give you a few days after the auction to pick up your items. They are open rain or shine and always a positive environment. I have brought friends who cant believe the great deals. The auctioneer is speedy and sees and hears all bids. It is great.

These guys took good care of me. They sold my comic book collection for a lot more then I could have made on my own.

They sent me the wrong item. When I emailed them about their mistake they did not respond, but they did keep my money. Bad experience, I would not reccomend this auction site.

Exciting selection

We hired 2nd Cents for a complete house clean-out. Robert was very easy to work with and handled all of our special requests perfectly. The job was completed in a very timely manner, communication was excellent, and we were pleased with the results and value received. Highly recommend!

Beware! They have their workers bidding items up so they can put in their eBay store. Sure they are allowed to bid but since they get a percentage of the sale it costs them minimal at the end. If you are a reseller you probably wont go as high as them since you have to pay full price. Ill take my consignments elsewhere.

Ive been going to this auction house for about 2 years now. This is one of the best places Ive been to. What makes it the best are the rare finds and low prices. The auctioneer here will drop the auction down to $1 just to get something sold. I cant tell you how many times Ive bought things in auction for $1 or $2 that valued over at least $50 or more. I live an hour away from this location but its worth the drive. The furniture auctions are great!! Ive found so many nice solid wood high end items at this location. I also couldnt believe how clean everything is. What else Ive noticed is how honest the people are. Ive accidently left my purchases a couple of times and they were still there. Also, Ive witness other buyers ask the auctioneer to skip ahead because they needed to leave and the few times Ive witnessed that I alway heard him say the auction goes in numbered order. He doesnt play favorites which I think is great. The auction house has rummage sales every so often in the summer Ive been to those a couple of times and I found good deals. I also noticed the auction house does online bidding but I havent tried that out yet. I feel that the area is very safe too. Yes you can bring children here and make it a family event. My kids love finding cool things. Recently about 6 months ago they put in big TVs so everyone could see images of what is being auctioned. Lots of parking, lots of chairs and there is a food vendor outside.
