My mother passed away this passed April. We live out of town, so on our quick visit to Cleveland we had to quickly move her possessions into storage so we could come back this summer to sort them out.The service in checking in was very helpful and courteous, though inadequate in checking out (more on this later).Since my mothers possessions included some valuable antiques and artwork, we were offered a storage locker that was climate-controlled, at a higher price, so that is what we signed up for.When we returned in July to close out the locker, we discovered that the climate control that we were paying for was not working, and that our locker was just as hot and humid as it was outside!I do not know if iStorage is responsible for any damages that occur to artwork due to broken air conditioning. However, when I went to the front desk to mention this, all I received was an apology and Were working on it. I think that the very least they should offer is a refund of the difference between a climate-controlled and a non-climate-controlled locker.A person who pays extra for a certain service should be able to trust that they are getting what they are paying for!

Rented a unit in April-they were extremely friendly & helpful.Discovered that I underestimated how much space I needed. Called to rent another space & got one. A week later, I call to ask them to leave the lock I purchased in my unit as we won’t make it there by 6. They discovered that I didn’t fill out my contract on the second unit & now it’s rented to someone else.Completely my mistake-but Demetrius went WAY above & beyond to help me out. I was blown away by his helpfulness & professionalism.Highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for self-storage. They are wonderful!!!

My friend and I went to sign the papers for her storage unit and were helped by a man named David. He said that’s not his usual location but we couldn’t tell. He was amazing. Customer service was excellent and he was wearing his mask, as well as his coworker. He was very helpful and had great conversation. If you ever see this David, thank you for all your help !

I’m so pleased with this storage facility. The grounds are always immaculate, and the staff is is awesome! So convenient and never any problems. I downsized a large home to a condo, so I rented the largest space (drive up - 10’x30’). I would recommend this facility to anyone in need of storage space, small or large.

My wife and I were hit by two losses in the family in less than six months that involved weeks of packing boxes, moving, and traveling. When we came in the first time, Demetrius was incredibly helpful in getting us into a unit right away. The units were clean and affordable and we were all set up and moved in in less than an hour the same day. When we came back four months later and needed to upgrade to a larger unit, Demetrius and Dylan were incredibly courteous and helpful. In less than a half hour we had all the paper work done and had moved from unit to the other. They were able to set us up with double the space for a very modest and reasonable difference in rent. Working with iStorage and the friendly and professional people who work here has been one of the easiest parts of an otherwise very stressful time in our lives. Thank you guys.

As a contractor, I rent storage spaces frequently. We needed storage for a project that we are doing in Cleveland Height and found iStorage Cleveland Heights on line.I must say that this is the cleanest, most well organized facility that I have seen. The staff was extremely friendly, efficient and professional. They made us feel that we welcome and were extreemly eager to help us in any what that the could.Dimitri, the manager, was extremely helpful and provided excellent service. He carefully explained our options and showed us the units, offering valuable suggestions. The rental process was quick, thourought and efficient. He carefully explained the guidelines to us and provided personalized service. We rented a 10 x 30 the interior of which was spotless.This was an excellent experience and I would recommend this facility to anyone who needs a storage space.

At least some things seem to finally be getting fixed and cleaned, but I cant give them more than two stars for the rent going up twice in 12 months. If that doesnt happen again, I might give them another star.

It was great to rent a unit at iStorage. I stored my stuff for two months and was clean and safe place as well. Easy to access to my unit , with wide hallways that can fit all kind of furniture.

IStorage has been great and very understanding of the chaos that ensues when you move out of state and need to store things at home until you can finally ship them back! Judy, the manager, is so nice and actually makes the moving process so much easier because of her pleasant and positive attitude! I lost my ID (eventually found in my truck) and she was generally concerned for me when she said no one had found it.We had a unit inside and it was enough to fit my 1 bedroom and probably then some (if we hadnt just thrown everything in there). Everything was dry, no bugs, no critters in sight! The hallways are huge and there are carts you can borrow from the front to help with your move. Also, there are doors everywhere so you can pretty much access the inside from any part of the building.I would give it 10 stars if I could!

Property was stored from May until October, came out covered in mold and mildew. Appeared to be repairs in the unit above, with glue seeping down the side of my unit. Purchased additional Cornerstone insurance offered by iStorage and was not reimbursed one cent, nor given funds for professional cleaning; I dont know what good the supplemental insurance is-dont waste your money. Set it aside to pay for new furniture like I had to do. Very dissatisfied with the conditions and worthless extra insurance.

I moved out of the country 2 months ago. My first auto payment to Simply Storage was declined during the transition and there was a delay in the mail forwarding. After one month of non-payment ($60) and without attempting my alternate contact methods they cut off my locks and threatened to sell my possessions on e-bay. I can no longer access my unit even though we are paid in full because theyve changed the padlock.

My move was so hectic because it was so quick but the staff here made the experience awesome. Couldn’t ask for an easier process.
