Our daughter was recommended to Swedish Solutions several years ago. We were in town visiting when she needed an oil change. We dropped her off at work then took her car in. It was sprinkling and they offered to drive us back to her house. We were willing to walk, however, they felt it wasn’t necessary. Later in the afternoon, they picked us up in the car and we drove their mechanic back to the shop. We really appreciated their consideration. We feel that they also are watching out for our daughter by making sure she is aware of items that need service without upselling.Great company and we really trust their judgment!

The Battery on my 2016 Passat died. I brought the car in to see if they might squeeze me in yesterday afternoon. They found time for me, drove me home, then picked me up when the car was ready. I was able to make an 8 am doctors appointment the following morning. This place is great!

You might be able to find a shop to do your work cheaper, but I’ve found the high quality of their work actually makes their prices a bargain.

Swedish Solutions got my 17 year old XC70 back in tip top driving condition. Diagnosing and repairing issues other dealerships and shops never saw or didnt repair properly. I had briefly considered going new, but my confidence has been restored to push this Volvo another 5-10 years, thank you!

Poor service, extremely expensive, labor costs about 90% of parts. So if the parts cost $500, the cost of labor will be about $400. Everytime I take my car there, costs and issues end up costing more and the owner REFUSES to take any responsibility. Do NOT recommend for customer service or price value.

Ive taken my 2011 Volvo C30 here for several things now despite their shop is a bit out of my way. Which if Im honest I think everything in Cleveland Heights is a bit out of the way with no direct highways. Tires, custom camber adjustments, alignments, some miscellaneous repairs... Most recently the engine in my car skipped timing and cause the valves to get bent. They did a phenomenal job getting my car in and back on the road within a week. They kept me updated and I had them do a few extra preventative items while they had the head off. This was an expensive repair but I believe their pricing is fair. And owning a Volvo I know parts arent cheap. You get what you pay for. I really appreciate their hard work and honesty. The guys that work at the shop are all very nice and knowledgeable. They always have answers for my questions and theyre just nice to chat with. They appreciate the cars they work on - Especially knowing Im an enthusiast. Its nice knowing I can take my car to a place that has an understanding and appreciation for what my car means to me. I try to do my own work on my car when I can but I will continue to use them for big jobs I highly recommend you do to.

I’ve been going to Swedish Solutions for about 4 years. Usually I am terrified when I bring my car to a mechanic (trust issues) but the staff at the garage are amazing and friendly and so the best work. They explain everything that they are going to do, show pictures and do a lot of research before they work on whatever the problem may be. I am never disappointed, my car is well taken care of and they enjoy visits from my Newfoundland dog.

Engine Replacement -- The team was very vocal about what was going on, honest in answering the questions I asked and very enthusiastic about fixing my car. The team was super friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend as I will forever be taking my car, a 2006 Volvo, for repairs there until the car is a pile of rusted dust.

I had heard of Swedish Solutions, but I had never taken my Volvo to be serviced there. Id always gone to the dealership. I needed an oil change, but didnt feel like driving far. And I have been unhappy with my dealership as of late. I had received a coupon in the mail last week, so I decided to go. Everyone was super friendly, and in this crazy time, they were practicing social distancing and wiping down the chairs, counters, and doorknobs. As someone in health care, I appreciate that. Anyway, I also ended up having my tires rotated as well, and the price was very reasonable. They mentioned an issue with my vehicle that I will be back to have taken care of. My dealership said that there were some things on my vehicle that needed repair. Turns out that they dont. I appreciate the honesty of this business, and I dont feel that they are taking advantage of the fact that Im a female. They have a new customer! I raved to my husband about how pleased I am, and how I should have gone to Swedish Solutions sooner. He said that he is going to take his vehicle there too. I told him that he wont be disappointed!

Everyone Ive dealt with at this place is awesome. Great attitudes, and they do good work. This is the only shop I trust to touch my car. I recently had a pretty large repair done to my car here and it came back to me running better than it has in years. Highly recommended.

I have been using These guys since I moved to OH in 2012 and I love them. They are always up front with their pricing and the work is always top notch. It’s definitely worth the drive from my neck of the woods.

I had my car there in early 2020 for diagnosis work. Saab had no boost and no power with no cel! Car was there for about 3 days. They called to tell me that the turbo had blown in half. Was quoted 2500 for a new turbo and install. I drove the car home because I didnt think the turbo was bad. (No exhaust smoke and no burning oil) so I finally had the turbo replaced with a brand new turbo and the car is still running exactly the same! Swedish solutions misdiagnosed my vehicle. I called the shop to talk to the owner and he basically just laughed in my face told me his mechanics are the best and hung up the phone! So I dont recommend this shop!

Matt over at the dealership was amazing. He kept me up to date on the whole process of my car! Was exceptionally polite and got my car done super fast! This was my first time having my car work done here and I definitely will be a repeat customer! They treated me like family and really did their best to accommodate me, despite the current craziness! I highly recommend them!

I have been looking for a new place to get work done that wasnt the dealership, and I have heard of Swedish Solutions, but finally came after being recommended by a friend. Service was top notch, and the were speedy. The price was very fair and the staff (Matt was the one I interacted with most) were all friendly and transparent. I brought my Volvo in yesterday, and they arranged a ride to get me home, and picked me this morning when it was ready. Car feels great, and I will be back.

These guys care about personalized service.One important thing to mention is that they dont just work on Saabs and Volvos! I have had two Japanese cars and three German cars over the past few years and they have worked on all of them. They were relentless in pursuit of a solution to a complex and challenging engine-repair problems in my older Volvo. Ive relied on them for regular maintenance and repairs for two cars over the past ten years.

I got a rim swap out on my Audi TT 2002 alms edition, after further inspection my brand new 18” alzor rims were cut up along the actual outer rim. All the tires were mildly sliced up along the sealing points where rim meets tire. Rear driver side tire has a big air bubble bump where it looks like a future blow out will happen soon. I really hope they somehow make this rough job right because I really enjoyed talking to the guys that were knowledgeable and very friendly and easy to talk to while I waited. I normally do my own work on this rare car for reasons like this... all in all really, nice guys that I wish would have taken the care and to slow down, not to ruin brand new rims I saved up for and my tires with a lot of life left in them. Was expecting more from passionate foreign car guys!*****They are making it right 100% instantly contacted me about whatever they need to do to make this situation right! I called at 4pm when I discovered a dead battery and they got me in immediately (after I got my car going so I could get there!) and were very friendly and professional. I also was impressed with all the safety precautions they had in place because of COVID (wore masks, wiped down my car, had a protective cover on the steering wheel). I highly recommend this business (as did the friend who referred me!)

Buyers beware, they dont do transmissions, but will gladly take your $$$s to put a band aid on a transmission problem, not the only game in town, do your research before you have any work done! $1,000 and more into a transmission problem still not fixed, now they want to out source to a transmission repair shop, something I can do myself. They will gladly take your money with out following on problems or your concerns.

Fabulous experience every time. We’ve taken many foreign and domestic vehicles here for decades. You can’t do better anywhere else. They really know their stuff and are terrific to work with.

They were concerned about me receiving the best price for the part(s) that I needed and even did their own rooting around for the major part to see if it could be obtained for a cheaper cost. There was no charge to inspect my car and provide a temporary adjustment until the part could be found. And they also advised me that Id might continue to hear similar noise until it was permanently repaired. The staff were extremely professional and courteous. Not to mention that this all took place in the height of covid-19 and they had the appropriate practices in place. Overall, this place is a little known gem...at least it wad for me!

Swedish solution is the best and only place I will ever take my Subaru Impreza. They are incredibly fast and provide a loaner car when available if they can’t get the repair done while I wait. Their customer service is superb! They always, always answer the phone and take the time to answer all of my questions. The guys are Swedish are always incredibly friendly, helpful, and thorough throughout the whole process!

Had a pre-purchase inspection performed by them and their detail and presentation blew me away. I only ever spoke with Frank, but he was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to speak with. I would absolutely use this shop if I had any other car concerns.

I will say this, I drive over an hour to have my 08 XC90 serviced at Swedish Solutions. I couldnt be more happy with the friendly, knowledgeable employees and technicians who really take the time to address all your concerns and needs.They offer wonderful advice and expertise that, in my opinion, is what you should expect from an independent shop such as Swedish Solutions.Would I recommend that you have your Volvo, Saab, V-dub, Benz, BMW, Subaru or Porsche serviced there..... Excellent service and communication.

Very disappointed in the lack of response after a major repair was completed. It appeared that there was an issue when I questioned the “Misc” fees applied to the bill. Furthermore, my car was in service for almost a week. It wasn’t the insurance as told to me for I had continued communication with the insurance company unbeknownst to Swedish Solutions. And despite this, I needed another detail to be addressed and the call was NEVER returned.

My Mini Cooper was serviced at Swedish Solution and this is what I found:- Best customer service: Extremely nice guys! Genuine nice conversation that didnt feel like it was just to please a customer. Much nicer than any mechanic I have ever dealt with.- Quick turnaround time: I dropped off my car, they took a look at the breaks right away. They then UBERED me home (how nice!!!) and 6 hours later my car was ready for pick up.- Best price: Foreign cars like the Mini can be pretty expensive to maintain. I called 4 shops in the area that service foreign cars specifically, including the dealer, and Swedish Solution was the cheapest. I made sure that all quotes included exactly the same thing.I have never had a license plate frame on my car. I always thought they were ugly but I literally told them to put one on just because of how happy I was with this shop. I dont know anything about cars, so its very important to me that I feel comfortable when I have work done, and I can not recommend this place enough.
