I dropped off my instruments for a tuneup. I was quoted $280 and I said of course! Never had a problem until I went to pick them up! Two individuals whom I’ve never seen before were at the counter. My instruments were sitting aside ready for pickup. I told the man who asked how much I was charged $280. He goes to the back, gets someone else and she never addresses me but questions him in obvious skepticism $280 for all of this? She proceeds to go in the back, as if she’s out of range of my hearing, to call the owner and verify if I was telling the truth. Why would I lie? $280 is not a little bit. Then she proceeds to say we just wanted to make sure because we weren’t told. I should have been able to come in with my tickets, ID, and money and pick up my instruments! Not have to wait because of whatever PREJUDICE these people feel! That exchange alone is why I’ll NEVER return here! I’ll pay whatever for my instruments.

I dont even know where to start...Walked in and owner Rick was singing, a customer was playing guitar and oh my God..that man has the most soulful incredible deep cutting voice Ive ever heard. He also has a lot of awesome guitars! I never ever buy something that costs $500 without fully investigating it first...but I trusted Rick and bought a Teton acoustic electric guitar, amp, and chord. He gave me a great deal. I was on vacation but couldnt handle not playing for another 4 days. The best part is that I got home today and compared this Teton to my Epiphone acoustic i have at home and the Teton absolutely destroys it. I found out that they are high end, solid built guitars. No laminates, all solid wood. Check them and Rick out!!Edit: forgot to tell, Rick asked me to jam with him and another person..Ive never done that so I was scared but he told me what to do and we jammed. Whatever it took to get him to sing! Plus I just read his reviews, wow, everyone loves this place. The hell with Disney, Im going to his music shop every time I visit Florida from now on.

Recently found a tube amp at the Music Store in Clermont. Their selection is impressive. The staff was helpful as soon as I entered the Store. Once I had heard the amp and negotiated an equitable deal the amp is now making my guitar sound the way its meant to heard. Ive enjoyed stopping by the store over the years and have seen the store grow.

I have been taking lessons at the Music Store for years and have always loved coming in and seeing what new stuff they have in stock. This is an amazing store with helpful and kind people who are always ready to help you find what you are looking for. I am becoming quiet a regular customer bought cbt powered speakers. The Service was warm and friendly. No hard sell but awesome advice. They also branching out into podcasting night give that a go very happy with the product

Long drive for nothing...called in advance to ask if they had what I was looking for available, “yeah, come in and check them out” is what I was told. I even looked online to see what was available. Got to the store and the music was Soo loud! The guy finally came over to help and actually had no real knowledge what so ever about the product he was trying to sell. I went out of my way to avoid a big box store and shop local..a MUSIC STORE and I knew more about the product from what I had scoured on google/Amazon.Ended up ordering something on Amazon as a shot in the dark at least it had data I could go off of.Would never suggest stopping in for any music needs. Sad.

I’ve been coming in and out of here since they were on montrose, I’ve purchased from them as well. The owners pricing is out of control, I’ve been in musical instruments, primarily guitars and amplifiers for 20 years. The things I see that tip me off are a epiphone with a bolt-on neck for almost 600 dollars, and if you know epiphone, bolt-on means the cheap line, no more than 300 new. As I looked through the parts, there were tuners for sale, in a all parts package, branded takamine, missing one of the tuning heads, for 70 dollars! A mid line Gibson SG w it h mini humubuckers for 1300! These instruments are all jacked up at at least 50 percent of the new price, let alone the used price. I wish the best for these guys, but I’m done with their store, they are taking advantage of people a with more limited understanding of the subject. I hope Rick can turn it around, and price things more accurately, but at this rate, I don’t really know...

The music store is a place you want to check out and get acquainted with if you are involved with music.I have been teaching voice and guitar at the music store for several years. I purchase equipment from the store as well. Over that time, I have come to know rick, the owner, very well. He is a good man. Honest, hardworking and eager to please the customer. I would recommend a store to anyone

I have been bring my son to The music store for lessons since he was 7 years old. He is now 12, He has taken lessons from a number of the instructors and they have all been great with him. The owner Rick is great, hes funny and really tries to engage his customers, no matter if its in conversation or educating them on facts about music education and the benefits of playing an instrument or learning music. I am at the store almost every Saturday and Im glad that such an awesome place is in my community.

Absolutely Awesome Music Store!!! With Absolutely Amazing People!!! LOVE IT!!!!!Store is well stocked with quality items. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly, warm, wonderful people. Lessons are given by amazingly qualified and educated working musicians. Recording Studio is under way and will be ready soon. Every First Saturday of the Month they put on an Awesome Outdoor OPEN MIC with Full Sound System, Full Band Set-Up, Drum Kit, etc... THIS PLACE IS GREAT!!!

We have shopped here a few times and every experience is both satisfying and personal. They try to take their time with each and every customer. I have been buying strings and the occasional accessory (capo, bridge pins, etc.) at The Music Store for years. Rick and his staff are always friendly and helpful. With the great selection, I would buy another guitar if I didnt have too many already!!!

We have been shopping and taking lessons here for years. LOVE the friendly atmosphere. My sons instructor is TOP notch. Their selection is terrific - a Fender dealer :) and their sales staff is very knowledgeable. Frequently there are customers trying out the equipment and small jam sessions spring up. They have an open mic the first Saturday of each month which is tons of fun.

This place is great of Rick dont have it he will find it for you. Plus the open mic jam attracts some great performers. Drums p.a., mics and amps are provided just bring your talent and guitars and of course your friends.

I am from out of town. LOVE stopping at music shops, like most of us do, as music is a passion/hobby. Ive PURCHASED 2 guitar pedals, a preamp, and a microphone from this guy before.... Always enjoyed chatting the few times Ive stopped in. Seemed nice. Assume he remembers me when I walk in, typically.I was in town again, so I stopped in to see what they had. Asked him a question about an expensive guitar out of curiosity and he said, Ah, well, the only people that would ask that are from another store. Then gave me a smug grin like.... as if: caught youSeriously?.. seriously?! Shove off. I WILL NOT be back, and Ill take my cash elsewhere. You dont offend customers by claiming they must be spies from other stores because they asked a question. Im not a SPY. Im not a Music Store traitor*?, criminal of sorts, as you insinuate. You must be insanely paranoid judging by that comment! This was not a joking tone or anything.Literally, I will NOT be back. I always carry a pocket full of cash into music stores in case I see something neat, as I love to collect. But I will NOT be back to this unsettling, SUSPECTING establishment whom thinks negatively of a guy patronizing their business.More time to hit up another store I havent been to I guess.

AMAZING customer service! They demonstrated all the amps I asked them to and made great recommendations. They adjusted the settings to get the best tone. If youre looking for new gear, I highly recommend this store.

Im taking lessons here and buying the things I need for my Music classes for about 3 years now and the owner, staffs and teachers are really nice, compassionate, kind, understanding and talented. I am recommending this store to everyone.

Rick was warm & friendly & it seems to have a nice stock of instruments. Tucked in the corner of the Staples building so its easy to drive right by without seeing it. Very little sheet music for vocalists so if thats what your looking for dont bother. They have an open mic night every 1st Saturday so I will come to one & see what its like.

Very friendly place, good people...family environment ..the open mike (music show) on the first Friday of every month is really cool to see their students perform..if the served beer and food they would get 10 points. hint! hint!

Fun and very enviting. We really love the Open Mic they have on the 1st Sat. Of the month especially because it is a very diverse crowd. Lots of different types of artists in a wonderfully mixed crowd. We have met so many awesome people there. We will definitely be there alot

I wish I could shop here, I try to come at night and there closed before posted hours. I try to come on a Thursday at 11am, still closed when posted they open at 10:30. Must not want business.
