Ive been living in Minneola about 4 years and I must say that Ive found some very wonderful pieces of furniture at great prices and excellent condition. Since our arrival the teams at this location have been changed various times. It seem that each team that arrives sets up the price differently. Overall a Great place to visit, the folks there are very pleasant and friendly.

Thats really unprofessional for a christian manager to tell someone what their intentions are. Like who are you lady? God? Who are you that you would know someone better then themselves. My friend did right by walking out. Noone needs to get torn down like that and told its all their fault. People may make mistakes but that doesnt mean they didnt do everything to prevent it and by the fact they were wrong by a supervisor and lied about and that lied to cover themselves up i would be upset to. You cant shove words in peoples mouth and tell them what their intentions were. You clearly need help being more professional. I would never reccomend a place that treats people like this. Christian is not a label. Its a life style and if you refuse to live that lifestyle out sincerely then dont even bother calling your self something your not. That is a christian my friend had been nothing but torn down and lied about all week and the First thing jeanette does is flip out and say its all her fault and we all know she is just defending the hope center. Two birds of a feather flock together. If the salt loses its flavor then its good for nothing. I was outraged when i found out how badly my friend was wronged at work in a church. I cant believe noone was even as upset about that as much as my friends car braking down three times in one week and told by jeanette its all her fault. She had no other choice but to get her car fixed. The worst part is anyone with spiritual disernment can clearly see this was a huge attack of the enemy coming against her. She woke up two weeks ago and heard the devil say he was going to hurt her. That same week he tried to take out her car and the devil used christians to tear her down and wrong her badly. Thank god she got prophesied over at church and God said the complete opposite over her and spoke such loving encouraging words over her. See how god is so good. He would never tear someone down like these morons did.

Do not waste your time donating anything to this place. My friend had 7 bags of womans clothes to donate and several bags were brand new with the tags still on it. New Beginnings is where she wanted to donate to. We live over 20 miles away so we called before we left and were told they were accepting donations until 3pm. When we arrived at 1:30 pm we went to the back and the man told us they were not accepting any donations today. (this was on tuesday) We explained to him that we called before coming and it fell on deaf ears. I pulled around the front and go inside to talk to the manager. I told him how far we drove and that we called before we came. He said there was nothing he could do. We left there and drove to another donation place and they were so thrilled to get so many bags of clothes. The guy said that it has been a while since they saw that many new clothes and were so thankful for the items. I will never go back to new beginnings ever again.

This is a thrift shop that actually prices and operates like a thrift shop, not a second-hand boutique. The manager and employees are super helpful and pleasant. Ill be back here regularly.

Had a great shopping trip here! They had so much of what we were looking for! The lady that was at the register, Colleen, did an amazing job fielding all of my questions and found me help to move the big items we purchased! Had a great experience! Even found some of the dishes I collect! Was so glad I came and spent money here, where it goes to benefit those trying to break free from homelessness!

My family loves thrifting, especially shopping at this store. The first time we went there, we bought enough merchandise to furnish our entire house when we moved to Groveland. We even liked it more after we found out the proceeds go to an empowering mission that overcomes the pain of poverty and the alienation of homelessness. New Beginnings also provides emergency food distribution at its Clermont Thrift Store for hungry neighbors in need. The value of the store went even higher as we were able to repurpose items helping the environment, and saving on our limited budget. They also put a free items table that you can just go and grab whatever you want with new items every day!

Little thrift store off the beaten path. Super cute with very nice stuff to sell. They have a little bit of everything; clothes, puts and pans, DVDs, plates, furniture, and more. Prices are fair and I love that this store keeps the money local to help the homeless 💞If youre looking for a place to donate and/or shop, I highly recommend giving this place a try!!

I had a situation and I needed to get help for a friend- New Beginnings did a great job at helping my friend. It felt like they took her by the hand and offered every tool she needed to dig herself out of the hole she was in. So grateful! The staff was amazing too, especially Tammy. She really cared and went the extra mile.

I called and got a phone interview before the initial interview and talked to a lady that i felt judged and criticized me before we even met. Im a pretty good judge of character and very glad i did not make this transition into trying to get my life together. There are plenty of places out there and based on the reviews on here and the conversation i had i hope whoever reads this dont make the decision to go there. If i wanted to be in jail id commit a crime and go.

After seven weeks of NO ASSISTANCE, NO GUIDANCE, NO REFERRALS social services it became evident they only concern for giving the appearance that they help people and they do so for social accolades.I DO NOT recommend this facility - they waste your time, what resources you may have and demonstrate no regard for your welfare. But they do like to tell you how they will pray for you.Perhaps they should re-read scripture wherein Jesus Christ commanded all Christians to feed, cloth and provide shelter for the disadvantaged - and another scripture wherein Christ said TO PAY ATTENTION TO WHOM YOU ELECT IN LEADERSHIP.If they did that, our Nation would not be shattering economical.

My daughter ended up there. She had been assaulted and sent by a hospital that assumed she was homeless. Their no contact policy meant she couldnt call home. She had to work in their thrift store to pay for her accommodation. After a week someone from their organization contacted us with the statement that if we were looking for her she was safe. No details on how to contact her or where she was. There was a statewide missing persons bulletin out for her and she was there without her glasses or contact lenses. She had none or her medications and this place was presumably relying on the power of prayer.I suspect they mean well but their execution is shoddy. The place she was living in was unhygienic and when we did get her back she had numerous bug bites all over her body as well as an untreated infection. The night before we got her she had gene unable to sleep because of grave fears and bad thoughts which in the past had led to issues. There was no phone or means of calling for help.If you aim to get help from New Beginnings be very wary, heck and verify what you expect and what you receive. In our daughters case they left her worse off emotionally than when she arrived. There was no liaison with missing persons or the police and their ability to provide theraputic services is nonexistent.
