My healing journey began with Candice in the front office finding a time that worked for my schedule. She is a warm and welcoming person - which made me feel like I was off to a good start with Milestone!Geron put me at ease while learning more about me and my relationships. It was recommended that I work with Valarie.Valarie and I charted a course and hoped for outcomes. We met weekly and addressed all of my goals. Im so happy to say that Friday was my last session!My heartfelt thanks to this amazing counseling team for helping me achieve those goals and setting me on a path for healthier internal thought processes - and improved personal relationships.

My grandson goes to Milestone for behavioral therapy. He considers his counselor Mr. Morrell his special friend, and Milestone is his special place. We have seen great improvements in regards to his behavior. He has learned many helpful techniques in managing his anger. We are deeply appreciative to the wonderful staff, and the professional service Milestone provides to their clients.

The bad reviews of this place are extremely disappointing. My son has been coming here for a year, and we have seen progress with him. No, its not like night and day, but its better than it was before, and thats wonderful. Any progress is better than no progress. Although he has been with the same counselor, I have seen many of the other counselors in the office interacting with other clients and you can tell that they clearly all love their job and are here to help. They enjoy what they do and WANT to help. The counselors are also accommodating to your schedule as best as they can be. Some will see your child at school if you are unable to bring them in. There is a (free) parent support group every Saturday morning as well as a kids social group that runs alongside it where the kids can interact with each other. They accept insurances that not a lot of places around here take. Bottom line? Why do you think there is a waitlist to get in here? Not because its a 3-star facility.

We have been with Milestone since 2015. The professionalism of all therapist that work with our children has been above and beyond our expectations. I have gained a new perspective on parenting, especially, adopted children who have trauma related issues. I cant praise the entire staff enough for the difference they have made in the lives of my children.

My girls absolutely love coming here for play therapy. Not only do they have fun Mrs. Natalie and Mrs. Valerie are kind hearted people who truly care for them. They respond immediately to any situation that may trigger and always keep communication with me as the parent which always makes me feel involved and not a stranger to whats going on through therapy. Thank you!

I have been taking my children to Milestone Counseling since we moved to the area 4 years ago. My oldest son has always had a hard time opening up to anyone and within 3 months we started to notice a welcomed change in his attitude and personality. The entire staff at Milestones was extremely helpful thru many difficult times in our lives and we continue to see them. It is so helpful to just have someone to talk to and that can relate to your situation and give you the coping skills that are required to deal with lifes challenges. We are forever grateful to everyone and highly recommend them to anyone that is considering counseling.

My little one has been a patient of Mrs. Vals for 3 years and I am and have always been amazed and grateful at how much of a positive impact her sessions have made for my daughter. Most parents to ASD children can relate to how seemingly impossible it can be to find doctors or mental health professionals who provide a consistently positive experience for our children. We have tried other counseling centers in the area but none have compared to the steady growth my child has experienced with milestone counseling. The friendly and professional staff and welcoming and knowledgeable demeanor of ALL of milestones counseling professionals leave parents like myself feeling certain that the right choice has been made for the mental health and well being of our little ones. Thank you for everything you do!

If I could rate this with a Negative 5 I would. These people are crooks plain and simple. No I am not some disgruntled patient or parent of one. I was dissatisfied with the so called service they offer and ended my daughters counseling with them. I contacted my ins. company to file a grievance and after they looked into the matter, mile stone says my daughter had 10 sessions, no I am so sorry but we only ever visited this place 4 times! They are crooks, plain and simple. They offer nothing..my advice, find a REAL therapist!

My child has sensory issues and doesnt like new drs. But he was very happy to go play with his new friend here. Very nice establishment.

Avoid Geron Rogers. He refuses to listen to the parents of children he is supposedly counseling. If you provide a perspective that is different than his, he argues and does all he can to prove you, the parent, wrong. When we informed the office that we were going to seek services elsewhere we requested records related our childs visits. Geron told us he would not release any records at all. This is his way of holding patients hostage because he is only concerned about his wallet and his ego. Sometimes the client doesnt connect with the counselor, its not a big deal. Dont take it personal Geron.
