First negative incident, was the runaround with which department would handle our service call.while waiting on the phone with the first person, she noticed that our warranty was going to expire on 8/05/21 and asked if we wanted to renew so we did. That was a mistake, now it seems we have no coverage until 8/25/21. The 3rd party repair technician couldn’t find the serial #, manufacturers # etc., and advised us to call sears to get the number sent to his company (RR Appliance). They advised they WOULD NOT repair our range without the number being on the range. Back to calling Sears, from 8:28 in the morning until about 6:30 in the evening, calling 1-800 number after the next with negative results. We tried again on Friday and still the 1-800 numbers run around again and our range and micro wave are still broken. Ironically, now the handle has broken on the dishwasher. We are still waiting for a resolution, and NO-ONE seems to have the decency or professionalism to help out. Very POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

The WORST DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE!!!Had tech come out to repair dryer...was informed of warranty and decide (stupidly) to accept!!!Our dryer is STILL BROKEN....come to find out I’m paying for a warranty that isn’t going to cover the dryer....the part needed to fix the dryer was on back order...waited 3 weeks and decided to order the part myself (got it 2 days later) and now we can’t get anyone to come out and fix it!!!WORST DECISION I EVER MADE!!!!!

Dishwasher had an issue draining, the technician showed up on time and was very friendly. Before he opened the dishwasher I had to sit through the 10 minute pitch selling me a home warranty. I declined...obviously...and he got right to work. By the time I looped back around the house he was in the middle of fixing the clogged drain and was selling me on some cleaner (fine) and casually mentioned the repair was $350. No prior warning - you can buy a new DW for $400 and a decent one for $600. I didnt want to fight so I paid and he left it running a cycle to clean it out during which he was re-leveling it and spilled buckets of water all over the floor. After he was gone and the cycle ended we tried to run it again and the door didnt latch correctly and it wouldnt start. They have a 90 day workmanship” warranty which I will not be using. Why have someone come back and do yet another poor job at repair wasting time. Cutting losses and buying a new machine (not from sears). Will never use these snake oil salesman again.

Poor customer service. on hold for 20 minutes never got through. No message for approximate hold time and no option for them to call you back. One would think that with Sears being in financial trouble they would treat their customers better.

Ice Maker Replacement went smoothly. Our repair technician Enrique, was professional and efficient, and super-nice. He called before arriving and was on time. Everything went perfectly!
