Super quick and easy. My car looks great and the employees were very friendly and professional. I was told about a special they were running and while I did not purchase the special myself, it was a great deal for anyone who washes their car regularly! Internal issue with wheel guide. Especially when a vehicle hit breaks inside the car wash. We run memberships for our lawncare vehicles. Two days ago, a vehicle three vehicles in front of us decided to ride there breaks while INSIDE the car wash. Almost caused a five car accident/pile up for all of us behind them! Car wash was not shutdown…wheel guides keep pushing us forward toward each other. Caused vehicle behind us to be pushed into the back of our vehicle. Police involved. Very inconvenient. *The SUV who caused this JUST drove off. ***FIVE STAR RATING ASIDE FROM THIS ISSUE***

We were there last Sunday )yesterday) with my Flex.There is definitely lack of attention going onThey are feeding in the automobile to closeThere was a backup at the end because the person sat on the break. Almost a 3 car if not more pile upHonked on the horn as did the truck behind usThe person in front finally put the car in gear and went forwardThe system should have been shut down since they were having an issue. Not one attendant came over to see why cars were honking their horn. They use to be great, but now they really don’t care. And you can’t call and get a human. I am just hoping there was no damage to my car. We all of a sudden had some water in the drivers side that was not there before

I have a fantastic experience at Zips every time I go! Of all their locations, I personally prefer Clemmons. They are speedy and my car always looks good as new. Service is friendly and intentional. Its a little out of my way but I will make the trip to this location every time! If youre looking for attention to detail, awesome service, and a friendly atmosphere I highly recommend you stop by! They never let me down!

Vacuums work extremely well. Easy access to vacs from either side of the vehicle. Wash was affordable and did a fantastic job of cleaning the exterior.

Had to go in twice to get the car really clean.

I like the car wash.. But I am about to cancel my membership.. When I signed up for it was supposed to be $20 a month unlimited.. But my wife told me they are charging me $29 a month.. So I called their number to cancel my membership and impossible to get a hold of a live person.. If they refer you to their website and theres no possible way to cancel on the website either so I guess Im going to have to show up in person..

Self Service, professional wash from $12 to $20 , can purchase 1 wash for same price or unlimited car wash per month . Only catch they renew each month. ( cancel anytime) Example you buy a $16 wash ,you pay $16 a month for unlimited wash. You can pay cash for a 1 time wash. All self Service, vacuum is powerful, air hose to blow out dirt in cracks, clean towels ,window cleaners provided, Highly recommend if you can do little work.

Apparently, you are not allowed to use the vacuums if you dont also get your car washed. Just try to go straight to those vacuums and you will find your car stuck in a position that is hard to get back out of (unless you go forward and have it washed). In other words, the layout could be much better and the vacuums should be for rent by anyone, not just the wash customers. It is like that everywhere else.

One of the best zips Ive been to, because they include complimentary microfiber towels, detail spray and compressed air hose at the vacume station. Very clean wash, great tire shine rollers and also finish off with ceramic coating!

Even with a longer line, they were fast. Their cleaning stations were stocked and they had folks there ready to help if you needed it.

Constantly closes early. I paid for a membership and theyre always closed. It is 3pm on a Saturday and they closed unexpectedly. Dont buy a membership.

Very convenient, does a great job washing and blow drying and they have the good microfiber towels and glass cleaner at the detailing stations. I like the blow guns in addition to the vacuum hose. Great for blowing excess water from around the front fascia, valleys around the trunk and wheels.

Make a difference to your vechile. Hot wax is awsome. If attended does there job and spray the cars front, sides, back to loosen the grime instead of doing it bad would be better a better experience. That needs improvement.

Great value and quick service, hard to beat in this area. Staff is very professional and the washes and vacuums work well.

Wash is hit or miss. I always do the $20 clean with hot wax. Not consistent at all. One time it’ll clean really good and take couple mins to go through wash. Next will take maybe a minute and clean half a$$. Usually teens working that dont wanna work so that plays a factor. Cancelled membership and still being charged so there’s that too....

Not a very good experience none of the blowers working to blow under the seat to vacuum all the vacuums on one side were not working didnt really wash the car the way I wanted it I spent quite a bit of money and it didnt turn out right

Pre-wash service nor auto wash got the gunk , bugs, etc from the front of the car.If I have to do it myself, their service is not worth anything, let alone $20.

This has to be the worst Zips. The gate was malfunctioning and instead of them putting an attendant to operate it, everyone had to exit their vehicle to get the attendant. Do better Zips!!

I have had nothing but pleasant experiences at Zips car wash! The staff is always friendly and helpful and I have seen a level of patience from the manager when dealing with upset customers that I envy. The location is very convenient and my car has always come out sparkling. I highly recommend this location.

I enjoyed going to the one in Clemmons the most because the vacuums are the best theyre the one in Winston on Hanes Mall Boulevard the the vacuums have not work in such a long time I mean it defeats the purpose of getting the full service of what they offer the one on University Parkway you have to hit and miss one side of the vacuums work and its like every other vacuum works on the side that is operable so you have to take a chance and hope you get one that works but I overall I like the car wash

Best automated car wash EVER!

The last 3 times Ive been by there the car wash has been closed. Two times it was due to weather and the 3rd time was the equipment was down.I I am on the monthly plan and I would like to be able to use it whenever my car needs washing.

While convenience is becoming too easy, I would highly recommend NOT going to Zips Car Wash. Ive always been the type of person that hand washes a car with the double bucket method, but due to a recent relocation thought Id save 3-4 hours every weekend to spend more time with my family. However, after having my less than 2 month old vehicle damaged at this location I can say finding an alternative solution would be best. During my visit at this location, in Clemmons, I heard a large scrape approximately halfway through the car-wash. Upon exiting the car-wash to detail my wheels and vacuum the interior I found one large scratch and many smaller scratches (swirls) on the rear drivers side wheel.The manager, Josh, contacted me back for the damage claim three days later to say they were not going to cover any damages and that my claim had been denied. Josh stated there is nothing in their car-wash that would cause such damage to a wheel in the location that was damaged. As I said, my car is practically brand new.This only matches the many negative reviews I have since seen online for damages. BE WARNED!

This place is so easy. Its great to come here for a quick wash. Also they have free vacuums with every wash so you can get a good clean on your car for a good value. I recommend getting a monthly card so you can get unlimited washes that month, its a great value. This place is a little bit more expensive but I think its a better wash and worth the time and money. I would definitely recommend recommend.

Affordable and everything runs great

Very convenient location. Just wish they would take more pride of their business by picking up trash and maintain the premises. Vacuums were not working today, but I still had to pay full price for a carwash.

I bought the monthly subscription when they first opened. It is a great value especially in the spring with all the pollen. I wash my truck once a week and it looks better than ever. Some of the employees are more thorough when applying the Bug Prep and cleaning the wheels. But it is a great experience overall.

Great car wash for a great price.

Have visited several times...very disappointed that I spent $21.35 today on the Protect It! Car Wash. The attendant barely applied the Bug Prep...spent all of 10 seconds and didnt even touch any part of the right side of my vehicle. Towels wont be provided until phase 3 for what reason?

Not the best auto wash Ive seen. The rinse is to close to wash, soap spills back onto hood every time going through. Still not providing rags to wipe car down after wash. Charging the same but providing less services.

Like the convenience. Like the fact that car is dry at the end. But car didnt seem totally clean. Traces of bird droppings were still visible, which surprised me. Car wash up the road gets car cleaner looking overall, but doesnt get it totally dry.

Glad they are fully open with clean towels again!

Not as good as it started out to be. No cleaning solution in the bottles, towels were wet. Not much suds in the car wash itself. Oh well.

Not sure what has happened to this place. Went today and got the $12 wash, came out and my tires were not cleaned and my car was still dirty. Asked the workers does the tire shine not come with the $12 wash and they told me It was broken. Told me to go back through and they would give me the top wash free. Asked for some tire shine to spray since the one in the drive thru was broken and they said they were out. I just said “forget it” and left. The 3 minute car wash off peters creek is much better!

Its ok. At times I find myself using the window cleaner after the wash to wipe off things the machines failed to get off during the wash itself .

This is an addition to a review I made a year ago.I don’t understand why this location cannot consistently have a fully functional setup. My recent visit didn’t have any water/soap spraying the top of the vehicle, nor did the tire shine work. The grounds are covered in garbage and litter. The Hanes Mall Blvd location is much better than this location and I would recommend going there over the Clemmons location.[original]I used to really like this location. Lately it’s gone downhill. Tire shine hasn’t worked for months. I still have soap residue after going through the wash. Lastly, the rags used wipe windows leaves terrible streaks and a residue on the windshield.

This is an automatic car wash with free vacuums and air blowers to assist in drying your car. Prices are reasonable.

The car wash doesn’t clean the back of the vehicle. The manager did give me a refund and was very nice and knows that the wash doesn’t clear the entire vehicle. I will not return because it just does not clean the whole car.

Their vacuum cleaners are free to use an awesome on the suction. I didnt get the expensive wash but it may my car look amazing.

Impressed with the way they have glass cleaner and cloths that you can use there to clean your car.

At first, this place was nice and much more convenient than driving to Winston Salem’s Zip Car Wash. However in recent months the Clemmons location has went downhill. Even the employees seem not to care despite apologizing profusely. From the heavily diluted window cleaner to the cheap towels that leave globs of lint everywhere! I shouldn’t have to use my own towels and Windex; for that I can go to an old school do-it-yourself foam brush wash. Even their bathroom doesn’t work as the water comes on sparingly so you can’t flush nor wash your hands. I won’t be returning and will share these negative details with all of my coworkers, neighbors and friends! Another waste of real estate in Clemmons.

In the last 3 weeks my truck came out dirty almost like I went in the air quit working and today the tire shine didnt work but they didnt tell me until I went inside to beef about it. This place has really gone downhill and the manager walked away when I was explaining how bad things have gotten

This is an express carwash, not a detailing service. A lady was complaining that the employees there wouldnt clean the inside of the car for her, even though there was only 2 employees. If you want detailing this isnt for you but otherwise its a great service to quickly rinse your car and go.

Paid $20 for a car wash to see how it did since I am in the car wash business myself in south carolina. Car came out still dirty and the wheels looked worse coming out than going in. Tire shine was only on one side of the car and the bubblizer for hot wax looked like water. Soap hardly covered the car and could see wrap marks all over the car from where the dirt didnt come off. Sorry to say bad things on another car wash but they need better chemical or equipment or both.

Top of the line car wash experience. The best

NEVER I repeat NEVER use Zips carwash, I took my Cadillac through the one in Clemmons on Saturday January 26th. My factory installed mirror cover was blown off while in the wash tunnel. I pulled out of the wash and filed a damage report with the employee on duty. I was called on the following Monday by the manager who proceeded to tell me that my vehicle was at fault because it to old. They didnt have a problem taking my money for my old vehicle. It is a 2010 so not redicusiouly old. I asked to speak to his supervisor to which I am still awaiting that phone call.Edit: I also emailed via their website on Monday evening and have yet to get a response to that inquiry.1-31-19 updateUpdate, the district manager called today. Nice guy, he said get him 2 estimates and hell cut a check. I will update the review when repairs are completed.

Dont sign up for the monthly service! I signed up last month. This month I found TWO charges on my account for double last months price. They said its reoccurring and subject to price change until you physically go in and cancel the service. You can not call to cancel. No refunds even though I have not used the service.

This new car wash in Clemmons looks fantastic from the streetI and I was excited to visit the first time last week. I purchased the $20 wash- top of what they offer. The two young men working at the start of the wash were totally indifferent to providing service to customers- one was on his phone and the other begrudgingly applied soap to the front and rear bumper of my Mazda CX-9. The bug wash was not used (although I paid for it). My car came out looking no different that a $10 was at Sheetz. Bugs remained on the windshield and bumpers. I will NOT be back. Disappointing.
