Two pedicures for my daughter and I, I got the basic Peppermint which that was a joke and my daughter got the heavenly and we got acrylic on our toes. The girl that did my nails only spoke when she wanted me to get the more expensive pedicure and at check out never rang the sale up but wrote it in pencil and charged me 91.00. I couldn’t believe it when asked about why so high they said the charge 15.00 for the acrylic because they have to wrap it to take it off. I had acrylic when I walked in and all she did was use the machine to take it off. Never again will I go back to this place it was terrible andMy toes don’t even look nice. And a pedicure is to be relaxing which is was not. People beware very price, poor service and not ringing up a sale or offering a receipt is suspect for me.

The best nail salon Ive been to in Clearwater! Very thorough pedicures with a leg massage. Got a gel manicure this time and its super cute! No wait for walk-in manicures. Lots of colors to choose from. The best prices around. They do a great job.

The lady who did my nails was rude the whole time. Got charged 45$ not including tip just for coffin acrylics and she wouldn’t stop badgering me about getting gel, and who knows how much that would have been. My nail broke the next day when I was opening a bag of chips. So what did I pay over 50$ for?Oh and just now 2 more of my nails broke off opening my clothes drawer!!!!!!! I’ve never had 3 nails break off within 3 days of getting them done!!! I feel like I got SCAMMED!!!!!!

I’ve been going here for 5 yrs! Yen is awesome and my gel nails last 3-4 weeks every single time!! All the girls are friendly and I’ve always had a great experience.

They do beautiful nails, I absolutely love how mine came out. they also are priced fair and are friendly. however, I did not give 5 stars because their eyebrow wax was not good. they missed a lot of stray hairs that I had to pluck out myself when I got home.

After social distancing for months, the toes were in dire need of attention. For me this meant looking forward to a relaxing and rejuvenating pedicure... what I got was a hasty subpar pedicure. They are so eager to turn that chair instead of allowing a truly relaxing experience. Spa prices with lack luster results, just not what it should be.

Grew up in Clearwater and this is THE BEST place around in both quality and price. The girls treat everyone with respect and kindness (despite a previous recent review). I’ve seen them work with the elderly and disabled many times and they left happy customers. Don’t believe all exaggerated reviews on the web. Ask for Ann or Linda! They are amazing and the best!! 10/10 recommend!

I live around the corner from this place, they do a good job especially with the cheap prices they offer! Wish they would have a few more options for holographic powders, foils, chameleon chrome, and metallic colors, or any unique colors to go with the gel polish, I like to do unique things to my acrylic nails. But other than that they work hard and do a good job. I’ve gotten manicures and pedicures done many times there and they do a good job. I stopped getting acrylics only because of the few metallic/chrome/chameleon color options. If you want something specific done just ask and they will do it.

The owner of the salon has been doing my nails for over 10 years. I have followed her to three shops. She does outstanding work and they are so professional. I have seen her care for individuals from all walks and life and certainly individuals with disabilities. Im not sure what the other reviewer is talking about but as a long-term customer, for more than a decade, I can confidently say this is THE BEST nail salon in the county!

This is the best nail salon! I live in downtown Tampa and drive to Clearwater to get my nails done here. Linda has been doing my nails for years because she is the only person that can do it right. Everyone that works at the salon makes you feel welcomed and at home!

I have been having professional manicures and pedicures for over 15 years and Ocean Nails is the best! About 5 years ago I moved from Tampa Bay to the panhandle due to work. I never found anyone there that came close to the quality of work and professionalism that I have had with the staff at Ocean Nails. While I was in the panhandle, every time I returned to Tampa Bay for a visit I would schedule an appointment at Ocean Nails. When I moved back just over two years ago, I have never gone anywhere else. I have observed the entire staff as they have worked with elderly customers and people with disabilities and have never seen anyone treated with anything but the greatest respect. I fully trust them to only refuse to do a procedure for a customer if they believe it would not be in the best interest of the customer, not for their own satisfaction. I have referred many friends to Ocean Nails and they all have been as satisfied with the care, quality, and professionalism they have received at Ocean Nails.

Every service that is performed at Linda’s salon is excellent. All of her associates are excellent at what they do. She treats customers like family. I had eyelash extensions for the first time. It wasnt as scary as I imagined. I always go to Linda for my nails. She is very knowledgeable. Every one there makes you feel welcome.Update 2019I fell and shattered my shoulder. After getting out of the hospital my nails(fill) were one of my first priorities. (Vain I know) anyway Tammy helped me that day as Linda was on vacation. She squatted down to reach me and did everything by hand as I had such limited movements and maximum pain still. Linda followed up with her gentle and caring way as I struggled for months in therapy getting my range of motion back. All of the professionals who work in this shop have taken great care assisting me in and out of the pedicure chairs when needed. I highly recommend Ocean Nails as the best shop to meet your needs. Young and old.

I have been using Ocean Nails salon since the owner, Linda, bought it 5 years ago. I was with Linda 10 Years before that at her other salon. I always carry her cards with me because I always get compliments on my nails. I also brought my 90 year old mother here for the past 5 years. I was comfortable enough to leave my mother there while I ran errands. Linda and her staff would take care of my moms nails, sit her outside for a cigarette and then walk her over to Fantastic Sams for a hair cut. I am a regular every 3 week client and Linda and her staff have been nothing but caring, accommodating and patient with all their clients especially the elderly. When My mother could not travel anymore, Linda came to her ALF (as a favor to me) to do my moms nails.P.S. I wouldnt go to this place if it was the only place on Earth! Anyone who can treat a mother the way that woman did there with a disability doesnt deserve to have a business..any business.! There are plenty of nail salons in Clearwater so people do not use this one really bad one they need to apologize for what they did to that elderly woman who only wanted a polish!

Bad customer service. Should have been informed of expensive polish I picked out. The polish was almost more than the pedicure. Theyre just out for cash. Pedi was a rush job too.

Typically, I send my girlfriend to another spa. Since, this Spa is located closer to my house I bought her a gift certificate for this location. While she was getting her pedicure, the man was watching TV, not even paying attention to the removal or quality of job. The issue is nothing was done with the exception of cutting the nails and applying lotion. Its a shame, when I called to resolve the issue the lady, Manager, said that they did a bad job because my girlfriend didnt really know how she wanted to spend the Gift Certificate. Currently, her feet, still look the same with dead skin remaining around the heals and the only change I see is her nails were cut. Bottom Line, if a customer presents a Gift Certificate and is unsure on how to spend, I find it the Spa responsibility to explain what she is entitled to - not just do a lousy job and not care about the quality of job. Waist of money... The owner is to call me back, I shall ask for a refund then, and update the posting at that point. Everyone makes mistakes, its how they are resolved.UPDATE: The owner called me back and was very nice. He let me know he was going to correct the issue, however, did not offer a refund. Thats ok, his kindness and fact he called me back made my issue resolved.

They always recognize me and always a beautiful pedicure. I like to pamper myself once a month. If you havent been you should go in for the a/c and nail work. Wonderful group of men and women giving mani, pedis. Massage your legs and feet. And choices of what you might like in your experience. Try it. You wont regret it !

I when to get a fill in today and the lady Lisa did my nails last time told me to get the actual white tip nail instead of getting the white tip painted it would just cost more today I go in and Lisa says that it would be better to take off my nails because the it wouldnt look right with the rest of the nails because I would had to get two of my nails fixed I honestly feel like she just wanted to get money out of me the first time because if she knew that I wouldve had to take off all my nails for fill in she shouldve told me that the first time I got the actual white tip on my nails Im very disappointed in the store Ive been going here for almost a year and a half and this has never happened to me Im so over this place and I would never be back You just lost a used to be satisfied always customer

I was there a week ago as a walk in, the manicurist was very kind and I thought sheShe would also do my pedicure, but another lady did the pedi, I asked her that I wanted the regular pedi and she said that was what she would do, as she was working on my feet I notice she did not remove the dead skin from the bottom of my feet, her explanation was that I did not need it, I kept insisting that I did, but she did not do her job. The next day my feet were so so cracked and I am very very disappointed. I will never return for a pedi and I will call the manager tomorrow. I did not call the following day was because I was admitted to the hospital .

This was not a good experience. I got an ombré acrylic manicure and the quality was not good in the end. It would’ve been ok but when she did the clearcoat the nail polish s need to react and bubble weirdly and she tried to fix it when I pointed it out but it didn’t fix all the way and now the final clear coat looks bumpy and weird on a couple nails. She also cut the skin on my pinky finger when filing my nails. Aside from that I was ok. I want to back there again though.

I was extremely disappointed on two of my gel nail applications. They started to peel by third day. I just had them done last Thursday and one already cracked. Also they didn’t bring the color or do the gel up to the cuticle bear nail bed. I will not be going back there or recommend unless they give a complete free visit!!!

Okay.... lets start with the GOOD things.... The space was well-lit and clean. I have noticed in several nail salons Ive been to that theres a mildewy smell... that was not the case here. The decor was minimal, but I enjoyed the wall mural. The pedicure chairs were in good repair, as were the pedicure stations. They had televisions, but they were on mute with the closed captioning on, which meant you had the option to watch TV, but if you chose to read or be on your phone or relax, you were not forced to listen to it (this is a huge plus for me!) The technician who did my nails did a great job. She was efficient, cordial, and obviously knew what she was doing. The price was reasonable. While she tried to upsell me, she wasnt overbearing about it (I was in somewhat of a hurry, or I would have indulged in a more premium pedicure). They were busy, but not chaotic. I didnt feel rushed.Depending on what youre looking for in the interaction department... it was a mixed bag. My technician didnt talk much, but thats fine with me. However, if youre someone who wants to have a conversation with your technician, it may be hit or miss here.In the Needs improvement column.... my biggest issue was the availability of nail polish. Many of the bottles looked.... old. Not nasty or dried out, but the color had started to separate, so to get a good idea of the true color, you had to pick up the bottle and shake it. The color I picked was lighter than I would have liked, but thats my own fault, not the fault of the nail salon. Also, they dont own the blower that dries your nails, so my technician actually fanned my feet with the card that advertises the different pedicures in an effort to dry the polish quicker. This was not a problem for me, but had I needed to put on any shoes other than flip flops, it would have been. The basic pedicure cost was $20 which seems on par.

Wanted pedi & mani. Just hot pedi had 2 ingrown .Woman told me to let them alone. 20 min for $20 lotion put on my legs soon as absorbed pull my pant leg down. No Massage! Told her did not mani.changed my mind. Sat in front couple minutes asked if I wanted to pay . I said yes tipped her $2.50 i usually tip very well. Left with things between my toes. Toenails are cut is all I can say. Very stressful not relaxing one bit. It was the worst!

Wouldnt even give this place HALF A STAR!! Horrible, horrible place. I did write a review on facebook as well, as I did not want anyone to get ripped off of a bio seaweed gel set $40 like I did. One of the employees husband Louis Nyugen commented on my post and wrote some VERY inappropriate things and statements like all your people do is complain which I later had to delete because it was so embarrassing on their part..And still wondering who are my people that always complain. I was very disappointed that my bio seaweed set lasted only 3 days, by the 5th day my middle finger started chipping off. My regular nail salon was closed and this was my only choice sadly. Girl at desk #8 did a horrific job. I came back not even a week later to have her fix the nails, the girl at the desk first to the left was rude! This was my second time coming here, first time I did acrylics and the girl at the first desk did my nails she as well did a horrible job. Anyways, I explained to her I hadnt even had the gel for 5 days and they looked as if I had them on for at least 3 weeks! She insisted that it was due to my nails and how fast they grow which is not true, my nails usually grow very slow! I previously went to a nail salon in Countryside Mall near J.C. Penneys that my seaweed gel set lasted more than 3 weeks! I cant believe these people even have regulars coming in!!!

Im so disappointed in myself for coming back here after my first full set I received To start off I had a wonderful pedicure and while I was getting my pedicure the guy did my nails I did not get oiled after fill in like normal nor did I get to wash hand before paint and way to much acrylic on 3 nails that i had broke it was a rushed job and I would have like to get them done separately if they were not able to take there time they should have said they were busy and I would have rescheduled (I called before I came )now Im out of 40$ and walking around with 3 big nails I dont understand I explain that I didnt approve of it and you would of thought he would have said Ill take them off and redo them but they were in a rush so I suffered not him, he got paid and was satisfied not the customer
