Mr. Eric was the service technician. He found the problem quickly and just as quickly had the unit repaired and up and running. He tested the equipment to ensure that it was working. He explained to me the process and details of the repair. The unit was repaired to my satisfaction.I received great service. And I will be calling them in the future for any type of air conditioner maintenance or repairs.

Three years ago we had a new ac unit and duck work put in our mobile home . It was a high cost . We thought we would be all set for a few years . We recently had to have vapor work done under our unit. All of the duck work that was done by advanced cooling was falling apart , on the ground , used the wrong materials , and was not connected correctly or at all . Now we have to have it done all over again at a lot of expensive . When we left the company a message we got no reponse. When it was done the crew that came to,d us we needed another 900.00 to do the duck work . When we made the deal that was included . Now we are wondering if it was ?

Our A/C stopped working on a Saturday night. We called Advanced Sunday morning. James was assigned as our repair tech. He had some stops to do since it had rained the day before but he took the time to walk my husband through a few steps to correct the problem to get our a/c working again without having to make an emergency service call. A/C is working great & we will f/u with a maintenance call during the week. Great experience with this company. I will work with them again on some duct work we need done!!

We’ve always had issues with our ac since we moved in to our home 10 years ago. We’ve Been swindled by a couple dishonest ac companies. Anyway, I was referred by a friend who had nothing but good things to say. Fast forward to another ac problem and I decided to give advanced cooling systems a call. They came out the same day, gave me an extremely reasonable quote and set up an install date. The installers were polite, efficient, professional, knowledgeable, and clean (which a lot of companies don’t clean up their messes). If I remember correctly, the techs that I’ve dealt with were Jim, Dave, Eric?, and one other. The secretary/scheduler was courteous and helpful. Without a doubt, I would recommend them anytime!

If you are looking to upgrade or just improve the comfort of your home, then look no further than Advanced Cooling Systems.

Asked for coil pull and clean. Tech tried to spray the acid wash on coil inside unit still, then vacuum out with shop vacuum. This was at over $300. Tech informed me that to actually pull the coil and clean like I asked would be $900. There competitor is $596 to pull in clean. If Acid is not sprayed out with water will continue to eat away at coil, causing unit to fail. This company will rep you off. Do not give them a penny of your money.

Great pricing, selection, & service. Jim was great in quoting a replacement AC system for us. Their prices were the best I had received, even for a premium Trane system. They were able to install in one day that week and we had cold AC again! The efficiency has been incredible, the AC has been colder and removes more humidity, but we have been saving hundreds on electricity each month, even over the summer so far. Could not be happier!

Advanced Cooling Systems installed our New Air Condition unit in our home just over 3 years ago. Since the installation the system been experiencing many issues. Just a few months after the installation the pan started leaking water into the guest room, we called Advanced Cooling Systems and a technician came and fixed it and assured me that it will not happen again. A few months after it started leaking again, they came out and fixed it yet again. And few after that again started leaking. I emphasized to them why they did not install a pump to pump out the water, they said I did not need one. I ask, because I had a new AC installed a few years ago in my last home in South Florida and the company did install pump. I mention I did not want to have the stress of a guest room having water all over the floor and furniture. They said they could install one, and it ended me costing me $200.00. During this time, we had a guest staying in the vacation rental studio where the Air Handler is located, and they decided to leave to another place. We refunded them their money thus us again losing money because of the AC Unit. Again a few months later the house was not getting any cold air coming from the AC unit. I called yet again, and they came out and said it was the coil in the air handler and it had a leak, therefore they had to bring out the handler and replace the coil. Just after those visits from Advanced Cooling Systems I noticed yellow looking spots in the ceiling in which I called a home Inspector and he mention that the AC installers were supposed to have the duck work lifted in straps so it will not create moisture built up, which Advanced Cooling Systems did not, but I called yet again they came out and corrected the ones they installed. Now this month July 2020 again there was no cold air coming from the AC unit. This was on a Saturday I spoke to one the Technicians he said it might be the capacitor and it will cost me $169.00, I said fine because outside the temperature over 100 Degrees and inside the house was almost 90 degrees. He came out said the capacitor was fine, but the Compressor was not working. So, although the AC Unit had only 3 years of installation labor warranty, and the coil has 10 years warranty same as the compressor. But he said that the labor had expired 1 month prior and they were going to charge me to replace the Compressor. I said okay but how much would an installation cost with Advanced Cooling Systems? The Technician Rick it will cost me with discounts about $1,300.00 At that time I was very unsatisfied because they installed the AC Unit and with so many issues after the installation, they still charged me $129.00 for just the visit. During this time yet another guest checked out early, and yet again we had to refund our guest and lost more money in the process. Meanwhile I got in touch with a friend of my wife’s coworker husband who is an AC HVAC certified technician and owns his own company in Miami, and he said the most they charge for exchanging a compressor is $650.00 with the warranty on the compressor. I had to wait until that Monday to speak with a Service Manager Dan at Advanced Cooling Systems, and he said that the technician had given me a great price. Dan was very short and rude with me on the phone did not want to consider a better price. I immediately reach out to Trane Consumer Relations and they sent me other dealers which offered me better prices than the Advance Cooling System. During this time Advanced Cooling Systems messaged me that I had to Accept their offer and Pre-pay so they can collect but still needed 3 or more days to install. I did not accept their offer and went with another 5 Star company and they charged hundreds of dollars less than Advanced Cooling Systems, and also corrected, and installed a few other mistakes they had done. I have lost so much money dealing with Advanced Cooling Systems. I’m very disappointed, dissatisfied, and most of all why are they credited with the BBB. I will only give one star and not recommend them to anyone else.

My A/C was not working and made the call to Advanced to check out the issue. Repairman responded, located the problem and repaired it. A/C is now working again. Did a good job.

Eric is the best A/C guy! He’s fast and very knowledgeable!! He takes the time to let you know what he’s doing and any fixes necessary. My 6.5yr old kept showing him things and Eric would listen to him and talk with him (showing genuine interest).

He took the time to explain what the issues were, showed me where the problems were and what I could do if it were to happen again and was very professional. My AC died on a Monday at 5pm so I called ACS and James was there in 30 mins! Unfortunately the unit couldnt be repaired. I got an appointment quickly on Friday.but of course it was the hottest week of the fall!The next day James brought over 2 room air conditioners so we could sleep at night. The customer service is amazing! The installers were efficient, very courteous and they cleaned up after the install. I would recommend this company to everyone.!!

In 2013 Jeff R sold me a unit. Since then, the unit has broken down at least twice each year.I had 2 different companies do repairs in the last 4 years and both told me that whoever installed this unit scammed me: the unit is TOO big for the size of my house, its consuming too much electricity and the installation work was bad. Ive paid thousands of dollars in repairs, replacement of parts and was just notified that I have to pay an additional $1,500 to fix the outside unit.Use another company unless you have $10,000 to throw away.

He explained the Trane unit and its features to me. We put together a quote for me ( which I found very competitive). The service mgr. Tony called me and we set up an installation date for a few days later. Then Malik and Brandon arrived on time and immediately started on the installation. When they were finished, Brandon explained the operation of new T-Stat,they cleaned up everything, Thanked me for my business and left. All completed in one day. Jack did a great job of explaining the options for a new a.c. system without causing me to feel pressured to make an on the spot decision. Not the most or least expensive, but offered the best system and warranties for my investment dollar.Installation went smoothly and the installers were all nice. They explained the things I needed to know, answered my questions and cleaned up everything in my condo when they were done.The reasons for the 4 star rating were that they didnt put my downstairs neighbors patio furniture back or clean up what had dropped on her patio, left a ladder and forgot to put my smoke detector back up.The cooling system has been wonderful but discovered there was no heat when the nights turned cold so I called Advanced. They had a tech here at a time convenient to my schedule and he diagnosed/corrected a thermostat glitch in no time flat. Thanks Dave for getting the heat working!!

Estimator Jack provided detailed breakdown of several options with ZERO sales pressure and even facilitated a product supply accommodation in our favor. I cant imagine a more competent Installation team than Malak and Eric; they just ... ROCKED!!! The entire process got off on the right foot w/ a very pleasant Call Taker setting the wheels in motion. Given that my HVAC system is right at 10 years old and this is the first time Ive had to do anything to it, I consider the brand and ACS installation to be great. I was concerned when she didnt book me and said she had to check something and would get back to me. Oh, oh, Im thinking. Theyre probably booked solid and wont get to me until next week. Within 3 minutes she called back and told me a tech was on his way. 5 minutes later Jim (the tech) called to give me his e.t.a. of 10 minutes.I was surprised when tech Jim arrived and remembered not only me but the other condo and work he did for me four months ago. Getting straight to work he had cold air blowing in about 15 minutes. Just like the previous service call, I was really impressed with his thorough post repair inspection and explanation of my unit and areas of concern.He did inform me that my system was on its last legs ( I already knew that) and we discussed a complete new system and pricing but I felt absolutely no selling pressure from him. I know enough about HVAC to know that he was spot on with his recommendations.I SAID IT BEFORE AND ILL SAY IT AGAIN.... There are to many A/C service companies in the Clearwater area to settle for less than stellar service. Advanced Cooling provided outstanding service and as a result theres no doubt in my mind that theyll be doing my new A/C this summer.

Advanced Cooling Systems has installed new acs and ducts in 4 of my homes. Their team shows up on time and gets the job done professionally and neatly. We have had no issues with final inspections and highly recommend this company. Their prices are fair and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.
