My fiance and I both worked with Clayton Jewelers separately to design rings for each other. They were so great to work with and their work is incredible! Sara is always so helpful whenever we walk in, and the experience always feels so personal. They remember our names, our rings, and would ask about our wedding planning. Stephen did a custom wedding band to fit around my stone, and when I came in to pick it up, he made additional adjustments to it on the spot to ensure it aligned with my engagement ring. They truly care about their work and their customers.

Fantastic experience designing a custom ring! I primarily worked with Sara and she was so helpful, patient, proactive and kind while we worked together. I went in to the shop several times throughout the process in order to get comfortable with the design and to review diamonds to use in the setting. My mother has always wanted a birthstone ring (mothers ring as she called it) just like her mothers, but could never quite find one like it. When my grandma passed away last October, my siblings and I knew we had to recreate her mothers ring for my mom. I reached out to Clayton Jewelers on what I thought was a longshot, but to my surprise they were able to find a VERY similar, if not exactly the same, ring. Once everything was settled and we confirmed the details, the ring was done rather quickly and at a reasonable price. Its difficult to express how thankful I am for Clayton Jewelers. My fiancé and I had been looking at rings online, and he had a good idea of the style I liked. Even still, ring shopping was pretty overwhelming because he simply didnt know what he was looking for or how to evaluate if he had found the one. I had a tough time on my own trying to find out the right details and perfect place to get an engagement ring! They made it so easy! We were able to make an appointment and come in to try out different stones, bands, shapes, etc! They even offered an amazing payment plan that you can easily pay off in time. The sales pitches and insincerity made the times in those stores awkward and pressuring. When I went back to inform them of my decision to buy local from Clayton Jewelers, they wanted to match my price. I already knew CJ was offering a superior product, so the price wasn’t the whole issue, but then I thought about it. Match the offer?? Why didn’t they just give me their Best price up front? Because they were dishonest salespeople! I suppose jewelers don’t become national chains without cranking up their profit margins.I wish I could convince everyone I know to buy from CJ. Steve is an incredibly talented designer, and they’re both so, so kind.

Clayton Jewelers is a lovely shop with excellent ambiance to match the stellar workmanship provided by Steven and Shannon. I came here to get a signet ring engraved and could not be happier with the result! Steven was attentive throughout the process and stayed true to the original design while improving on it as well with his own artistic vision and skill. The ring was also ready before the estimated turnaround time, and Steven is one of only 2 remaining hand-engravers left in the entire city. 100% recommended

My wife and I were looking for a new setting for a diamond we already owned. They found us fantastic options and even ordered some in, but eventually, they helped us design, and beautifully executed a custom setting. I could not be happier with my experience at Clayton Jewelers. My fiance proposed to me but wanted to let me pick out my own ring. We went to a couple other jewelry stores and I wasnt happy with my experience - pushy sales people, not having what I wanted, etc. We went over to Clayton Jewelers and they were great! They ordered in several options for us to look at and I was able to design the ring of my dreams! They were so patient, accommodating, and helpful in the entire process.

Working with Steven was absolutely amazing! I came in with a diamond that I bought online which I thought I got a great deal on. Steven came back with 2 competitive options which were better quality and price than what I had. He was also able to custom design the perfect ring EXACTLY how I wanted it to be. He sent me a CAD design to approve and kept me updated along the way! He completed the project on time and BELOW budget!!! The picture doesnt even do justice to the skill required to pull off a project like this! I am truly lucky to have stumbled on his business and will ALWAYS come back to him for all of my jewelry needs even if I live outside St. Louis. THE BEST. Hands down. I’ve been going to Clayton Jewelers for a while now, and each time the service and experience is better than before (somehow that’s possible, it shouldn’t be). The quality is second to none- Steven is amazingly talented, he has created several custom pieces for us (engagement, wedding, earrings) and they exceed expectations every time. Shannon is extremely kind, patient, and very informative. I looked for the perfect diamonds for what seemed like forever, and she was instrumental in helping me find “the one”.They also have a fantastic selection of Omega watches, and Steven is very knowledgeable and helpful in guiding to make the right selection for you. I’m so excited with my watch!This shop is the whole package, excellent selection, excellent service, and excellent pricing. There is a reason I travel from out of state to work with Steven and Shannon. When you talk about getting engaged, every person you know has a “diamond guy” for you to go see. Don’t. If you think the picture of this ring is perfect, you should see it in person! When my fiancé proposed I was so blown away with the absolutely stunning and one of a kind design. This ring truly makes me feel like a queen. Every nook and cranny has beautiful detail that Shannon helped my fiancé create. I have been twice to have the ring sized and they were both timely and extremely professional. They listened to every detail I was saying about the fit.
