Terrible place in NC to go get your phone fixed ,it took them almost a month to fix my phone and ended up getting it back not turning on & still have a broken chip on the Bottom right of the screen ,charging me $380 to fix the back glass & front & Replacing the battery ,I recommend everyone to go to apple to get it fixed by PROFESSIONAL not this over priced place

In August 2020. I contacted them about an all-in-one desktop because the screen was damaged. They said they could replace it & would need to order a screen. They said the screen should be in on about 7 days. I havent heard back from them. I was calling monthly, now its every 3-4 months. They keep assuring me that theyve ordered it & are still waiting in it. Last time I was told the prob I proudly talked to would ball me back the next day. That was 3 months ago. After reading other reviews, I guess its a good thing it hasnt come in, because it sounds like they wont repair it properly anyway. Everyone I talked to there seemed really nice, but they definitely havent follow-up with me about anything. Its now near the end of June 2021 & still nothing new from them.

Had my iPhone XS Max screen replaced a few months ago. Had no issues with the phone or screen prior to having the screen replaced. I had been using the phone just fine with cracks in the screen it was just getting on my nerves looking at a cracked screen. I chose this place because it was close to my home. Shortly after having the screen replaced maybe 3 weeks after my phone started doing the ghost touches and having issues with facial ID. I took it back and the gentleman said he fixed it. It worked right for 4 more weeks and now it has started doing the ghost touches again. It has gotten progressively worse everyday, it’s almost impossible to use and I’ve since decided to get a new phone instead of continually going back when I have problems with these screens. 300 is to much to pay for a poor quality screen that has ghost touches and is not responsive to touches about 60% of the time. Lesson learned on my part. People there were great and had no problem with them. However, I don’t think this screen was worth 300.

Brought my Galaxy S8 plus, the front and back glass case was cracked in many places, I showed the man working there what needed to be done, he ordered the parts and never called me I contacted him after I waited for 3 weeks he said that he had tried to call a week earlier but he did not leave a message nor did I see a missed call from the phone number listed for his business. After 3 weeks I had contacted him and set up a time to get it repaired it only took him one hour as he had told me however he only replaced the front of the phone case and the LCD, he left the badly cracked back of the phone and said he thought I only wanted the front repaired.now my phone seems to have some glitches the screen is just going dark on its own and I have to adjust the brightness constantly the touch screen is not working as well as it used to and sometimes my screen looks like an old fuzzy TV picture. This business is not well run and they do not do a good job with the repairs I would suggest finding somewhere else to take your business IO will never return to this place, Not even to fix the repairs that he did and did not make. They clearly are only interested in taking money and not doing quality work. As I said earlier he told me he thought I only wanted to have the front of my phone repaired when somebody gets something repaired dont they get the whole thing repaired isnt that the only thing that makes sense I never told him that I only wanted the front repaired I showed him the front and back of the phone and said I needed this repaired. My impression is that he is a cheapskate or con artist definitely not Good at repairing phones or a run quality business do not waste your money.

Had a bit of a glitching issue after getting my screen repaired, so I took it Digital Doc today and got it fixed for free under warranty. My new screen is working great! Staff is also good!

Not bad at all. Only deducting a star because communication could have been better. I had to call to check on a phone I dropped off 5 days prior. They said it was ready. Why would you not call when the repair is done? Other than that, no issues with the service itself

Smashed my iPhone screen on Monday… took it to DigitalDoc Tuesday morning, and had it back, good as new, in an hour!

They were awesome had my husbands iPad screen replaced in an hour. They were the only ones that had someone avail to do it. We called 4 places and no one was avail on Sunday. Digital Doc was great

Had my cellphone screen replaced at this location and they forgot to conect the antena. Not a great first time experience but the people where really helpful and solve the problem quick.

My daughter had dropped her Iphone and broke her screen. I booked an appointment online and went in they replace the screen in under an hour for $99 and it looks good as new. Its nice to know that we have some place in Clayton to get these kind of things done. They work on computers and sell some phones and computer equipment too. The location is very convenient they are near Lowes Foods in between ups and Little Caesars Pizza off of Shotwell. Jake Miller is the manager there. He is very professional cares about his customers. We will be back.

Theyve helped me with some laptop repairs. They arent pushy about additional work and have great diagnostic prices.

We dropped off a phone before Christmas, said he’d have it done in an hour and we could come back then. We said we could wait to pick up on Saturday if your open. Said they were open 10-1. Here it is 11am, we waited 10 minutes in the parking lot for them to get here and guess what... our phone is not done and they can’t fix it. Said the owner has to do it and he isn’t here. 😡. The guy in the store said he’d call they owner and get back with us. I have no faith at this point!

I don’t recommend this place at all, the glass that protects my cameras on my cellphone it broke so I went to replace it, even thou I thought that the price was considerable but when i got back to pick up my phone the camera was very blurry and it wasn’t like that before I took my device there... These folks are amazing! We run a small business where we use old, educational software for young children. They just dont make educational software like they used to and everything is now apps which often requires in-app purchases in order to complete an activity and we dont like this to use with young children as we think it can create complulsive behavior. So we have to rely on this old software. We also like to use laptops with the children so they get comfortable with using a computer (still the powerhouse of computing) and not just using mobile devices. Weve been using old laptops running older OS and of course those old laptops are hard to repair. Ryan has been so awesome in helping us to run this old software on newer laptops we recently purchased from them that runs Windows 10. They are so pleasant and helpful!! We will definitely be using them for all of our computer needs in the future. I cannot recommend them enough.

My experience was excellent.Simple problem, simple solution.  Broken iPhone 5s screens glass was repaired in less than one hour. Affordable no nonsense fee for service. Customer service was simple direct and polite. I appreciated their 4-walls marketing, albeit simple and very minimalistic.

Ive had a phone screen replaced on a Galaxy 8 and a battery replaced on a Pixel 1. They did both services same day. Very satisfied.

Really disappointed in the customer service. I had a great experience with one associate helping me. When bringing the device back the next day to finally trade the phone in for the offer I was given, a different employee was working. It was 30 minutes before closing, however he said he didn’t have time to evaluate my phone, although it was evaluated the day before and we were given an amount they would provide us for the phone. He stated I could leave the phone, but why would a customer do that knowing the store closes in 30 minutes? Would have rated this hirer if the second employee didn’t react the way he did. Pretty disappointing.

Im surprised to see negative reviews of this business. Ive dealt with them since they opened and have never had a bad experience. Theyre reasonably priced, have fixed everything Ive broken. Personally, I give them the highest recommendation.

Had a difficult problem with my computer. These guys took the time to make sure it was fixed right.

The guys here have great customer service. I stopped in a bit over a month ago now probably due to my phone not working properly. It was not booting up correctly and I could not get past the start screen. The technician took the back of my phone off for me and went into the circuitry and made sure there were no loose connections and diagnosed it as a software problem. He saved me time and although I had to end up getting a new phone I was surprised by this level of customer service as he did this for me free of charge and gave me advice on who to contact to get a replacement. I would go back if I have any needs in the future.

Had an iPhone repaired (broken screen and battery replacement). Went on vacation with my phone in a brand new life proof case. Phone got wet on a water slide. New battery swelled and home button connector corroded. Even with obvious water damage to the phone, the battery was replaced NO CHARGE and home button repaired.Lessons learned:Life Proof Cases are not really water tight.And....Digital Doc is a stand up organization who does right by their customers. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Awesome customer service. Will be going back for all of my future needs.Thanks Guys.

STAY AWAY!!!!! I called these guys and asked if they had the knowledge to fix my Asus ROG phone. They assured me they could do it. So i dropped it off. Two weeks later i had not heard anything, so i called and they said the replacement part they got was faulty, and they had to order another. Another week or two goes by still no contact on their behalf, and they say that the part they ordered came in broken and they were changing their supplier. Another week or two goes by, still no contact, I call again. They told me they were unable to fix the phone and i could pick it up free of charge. I didnt go to get it for another week or so because i was using a backup phone and I was unsure of what to do with it. When i arrived and asked them for it the guy told me it was not put back together... and i would need to wait 30 mins. When he handed me the phone back he apologized because he had to use the old adhesive and therefore the phone didnt seal properly.. The phone was handed back to me mangled, bent metal(not previously bent) glass broken which was also not damage from me, and lots of damage from improper use of prying tools... This is the worst experience i have ever had with any business...

My fiance went to digital doc tor repair his screen on a $650 cell phone hes had for 3 months He put new screen on. But then hes speaker was broken. He called owners son who said employee was wearing flip flops and tripped, broke his phone! We bought brand new phones but now Digital Doc will not even refund his money! They broke it. But wont do the right thing. So we are going to sue them to get the money. Why must one go to the extreme just to get a store to do the RIGHT thing!

Not only did they repair my iPhone quickly and for a decent price, they took time to show me functions on my phone I never knew about. I couldnt have asked for better customer service. I had no idea all of the things they repair - phones, tablets, computers, projectors, gaming devices, etc. They also have a selection of phones and accessories to purchase. I would much rather support local than going to these big chains that are so impersonal and all about the money. I will definitely be going back to Digital Doc again!

This was the worst experience I have ever had with regards to handling of computer equipment. I had to call them almost everyday and then wait days to get a response back as to what was going on with my computer. I eventually found out that they were not able to fix my laptop and instead of telling me so that I could get it to recover my data they never alerted me to this fact and simply disposed of my laptop hard drive and all. They were very careless throughout the entire process. The customer service was terrible.

First time using Digital Doc Clayton NC and it was a great experience.I had an XBOX 360 DVD drive that was stuck. I took the drive out of the console but I was unable to fix it myself without breaking something.So I took it in on a Saturday morning and it was fixed the next business day (Monday).They did what they said they would do at a fair price. You cant ask for much more than that.Great job!

I just wanted to share that I had a great experience at the Digital Doc this morning. My iPhone 5s screen was cracked/shattered badly and they had it fixed in 30 minutes at a reasonable price. The customer service was terrific and they gaurantee their work. I will be bringing our iPad in later in the week to have the screen replaced and then hopefully we wont need their services anymore BUT if I do have any issues or accidents with devices in the future I know where I will be taking them for repair! The only reason I am giving 1 start is because 0 is not an option. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DEVICE TO THIS BUSINESS. I took my macbook there to get the screen fixed (there were lines going down the right side and across the bottom). When I took in my computer, it was working fine (turned on, screen was working). The person helping me assured me that it was fixable and would be done within a few days but with a hurricane on its way, it may be a few extra than normal, they would give a call when done. A week and a half later I still hadnt received a call so I called them. I was told they had tried to call me a few days ago but I didnt answer and the voicemail box wasnt set up (I had no missed calls from their number and I do have a voicemail set up). Anyway, he said that he thinks my computer is dead because it wont turn on and they would like for me to bring my charger. Okay, fine... I take my charger over there and they plug it in but it still doesnt turn on. The same guy said maybe it was a faulty part and they would order a new one and it should come in and computer done in a few days. As I was leaving, I asked what number was on file since it was weird I didnt receive a call.. my number was wrong in the system (cool, mistakes happen). He changed the number and I had him call it just to make sure it worked and i told him that my voicemail is set up and to leave a message.Another week and a half goes by and no call from Digital Doc so I call them again. Again, they said they tried to call me but I didnt answer (didnt leave a voicemail and I dont have any missed calls from them). They said they dont know what is wrong with my computer and they arent able to fix it but they will try one more thing. It was going on a month without my macbook and I really needed it for my job so i asked to just come pick it up. The next day I go to pick it up (doesnt turn on at all). When I dropped it off it had a case on it and I asked where the case was and he said he didnt know but would ask the technician when he got in the next day and they would give me a call. NEVER got a call.I ended up taking the macbook to the apple store and he confirmed the computer wasnt turning on at all and it had not been put back together correctly. The digital doc technician broke my computer worse than it was in the first place. Apple sent it off and it was fixed in 3 days.I called Digital Doc one more time about my case sense I never heard anything back and the same guy I worked with every time answered and he said this was the first he was hearing of this and would, again, check with the technician in the morning and give me a call by noon. I told him that I havent been very happy with the service and just wanted something I had spent money on back. Didnt receive a call AGAIN.I will not EVER use this business again and will be telling anyone interested in taking their devices there to stay FAR away! Extremely disappointed with their lack of communication, lying, and ability to fix my macbook.

My daughter took her phone in to get repaired and left it. While driving back to get it she got lost, and of course, without a phone and at Digital Docs closing time (7:00) and it was then 7:15. My daughter stopped at a store and called me and asked me to contact them because she didnt have their number. Digital Docs tech had already left their store (now 7:15) so no one answered the phone. I sent them a message and immediately I had a reply and tech said they were heading back to the store. WOW.... what great customer service!!! They saved the day and my daughter from having a nervous breakdown/panic attach. She was heading out of town and needed her phone then.

I broke my LCD screen on my Galaxy S4. They fixed my screen in less than 30 minutes. I highly recommend this place if you break your screen.

They promised a 60 warranty when you purchase through them. When you need the same issue fixed within the 60 days, now the warranty doesn’t cover everything like promised. Stay away from this place and take your money elsewhere.

Brought my phone in at 11:45...they had replaced the screen by 12:30. Much faster turn around than I expected.

Dropped my iphone off because of it not powering up. Staff said drop it off and come back the next day. Came back and person repairing it was out of town, said they would call after they find the problem. Never heard from these people. I called 6 days later, staff could not find my phone. Staff would call me when they find it in back. I went by the next time and staff still couldnt find my phone. Still have not heard from them and still dont have my phone. That was July 2015. Can you say TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Finally just bought a new iphone.Everytime I went by (twice) they would take my office number and new cell number. No one ever called.Beware of dropping your property off at this place.

They had my work tablet for over a month, no phone calls on update. When I finally got it back almost two months later, the screen was fixed but now also had a busted case from improper removal and installation of the screen. Shoddy work done by what appear to be amateurs. Be wary of using Digital Doc.Edit: 7/31/2015Digital Doc is replacing my tablet after several visits and my program manager taking over the case.

Awesome little shop. Went there to get my phone repaired because the screen had cracked, thankfully the frame of the phone didnt dent when I dropped it. I definately recommend this place to get your phone repaired as they get it done fast and quick, I got my phone back with in 30 mins after they repaired it and did a rigerous test to make sure everything is working all right. There techs have a very quick turn around time when diagnosing issues as well. I will definately going back to this store for future issues with my devices.

My husband brought in my daughters iphone which is 2 years old and it was the first time the screen had shattered as the phone fell onto a gym floor without its otterbox case. For over 100 they put a new screen on. I bought a new otterbox case for her phone and she immediately put the case on the phone. A week later,with the new Otterbox case on, the phone dropped from below her knee to a carpeted floor-less than a foot. The screen shattered! My husband brought it back and was told there is no warranty. I am not sure what kind of cheap glass they are using or maybe it was put on incorrectly but the fact that Digital Doc took NO responsibility for a repair that cost $100+ dollars is horrible. It cost more than going to the apple store(who would not touch it after it had been touched by Digital Doc). I would not recommend them to anyone. Apple recommended another store that offers a 90 day warranty. Obviously the other store stands behind the kind of glass they use and their work.

This is the worst place to take your iPad to get a screen replaced. iPad was taken there to get a screen replaced in December of 2015. When the iPad was picked up the home button was broken, So we took it back and they replaced the screen. Picked it up again and the supposedly new screen had lines in it...it looked like notebook paper. So we took it back again and they once again replaced the screen. This time when we got it back the battery would not charge and the iPad wouldnt even come on. So we took it back again, and they stated that they had to send it off because they fried the mother board. So after about a month, of calling there was still no update on the iPad. So finally after going up there the iPad had arrived back from being repaired and was being put back together we were finally able to pick it back up. Well we get the iPad home, its all charged, screen looking decent finally, but guess what, you dont even have to touch the screen now....it pushes buttons, opens webpages, sends iMessages and facetimes all on its own....it took them from December to May and the iPad still didnt work .They are the worst ever

Same exact experience as Thomas Walls wrote about below and I wish I would have read his review before picking this location. We took our sons iPad in with cracked screen and after over a week to fix it comes back with ghost typing which occurs when the new screen is not replaced correctly. Took it in twice to get it fixed and after they stated it was fixed the issue only became worse. This IPad is used by our autistic son so we did not catch the issue until a few weeks after repair since he could not describe the issue in good detail since it was happening intermittently. After a few google searches I found the term ghosting typing which occurs with a faulty repair or poor repair parts. I would stay away from this business due to their lack of follow up and attention to detail. We now have to purchase a new IPad.

Terrible Service!I had to replace my ipad glass. the first time I picked it up the seal was sticking out all over the place and the glass was falling off after a couple days. the 2nd time i picked it up they broke the wifi antenna. the 3rd time i picked it up the glass was installed poorly again and the screen would push buttons on me. the 4th time i picked it up nothing improved and the manager told me not to come back!!!!You can absolutely find better service!**UPDATE** my glass broke again and I completely blame these guys. Instead of driving into Raleigh and pay again I decided to do it myself. In my first attempt I did a FAR BETTER job replacing my own ipad glass than these bums. a FAR better job! insane!

Didnt fix device correctly. When I dropped it off to be corrected, they messed it up even worse and wouldnt fix the phone. After I have spent 500 or more $$ at their shop.

Went to get my screen fixed after dropping it, and they fixed the screen. A few days later my screen starts hitting random numbers and now it wont let me type in my password, making the device completely unusable

Had phone screen replaced, new screen was raised instead of embedded as it should have been and they bent the phone between the volume buttons while replacing the screen.. should have just let apple fix it since they charged the same price.

Their ad is misleading they dont work on all electronic devices.
