I just became loyal here as a customer, my service was phenomenal, Allen helped me get the parts I needed for my truck. Cracked jokes with me like there was no tomorrow but he knows his vehicles and parts. Allen got me in and out with no problems like other parts stores have given me. Allen Bell is the best! We pulled up with a bad battery, bought a new one along with washer fluid. We asked for help in installing it as we didn’t have tools or the ability to install it. He was kind courteous extremely helpful. He installed it so fast and also helped me to put fluid in my washer reservoir. Amazing! Auto Zone rocks!

I was leaking coolant fast and had a broken radiator hose clamp. I needed it fixed so I could get the 2 1/2 hrs home. Stopped here and Alans helpfulness was incredible. Charlie is the man! I came in Saturday morning to get items for my car, and my girlfriends 2011 vehicle. Charlie was helpful on the lug nut I needed for her vehicle, with a great conversation. Later on that day when my girlfriend got home, she told me the vehicle is a 2009. Not a 2011. By this time it was 4 PM and I had thrown away the receipt. I went back to AutoZone, and Charlie was still there. He was able to look up what I purchased and advise me on the correct lug nut. It was a simple transaction, but I was happy with the service. I came to this store with what was a horrible situation. My FCIM went out. My HEATER was running at full blast on 90 degrees. I have a medical problem with my leg. Very sensitive to climate.No one could find my fuse box to pull fuse.The store manager TONY looked until he could find it. Finally after 2 weeks, the HEAT went off.Tony, I will forever be grateful for your help. You were determined to find it. Of the three parts stores right here on 14 and Crooks this one is the best. Auto zone always has the best/most parts in stock, at least for my car. And their rewards program is miles better than oreillys and advance.

They issued a refund for 76.90 and my account had that money taken out. Did not get a refund and they said they refunded me so i disputed with my bank. Was then resolved though my bank after a few weeks. My statement is redacted, was an annoyong experience nontheless.

Every single morning when myself or my shop calls the commercial manager Eric is never there on time it’s always another manager to grab the phone such as Tony or Aaron they take of us and get us our parts swiftly typically don’t hear from Eric till around 930/10 even then he sounds extremely sluggish and dosen’t enjoy his job. Until issue is resolved will be taking my account to advanced auto.

I came in to get my car checked due to the engine light being on. I need a test ran. The guy handed me a plug and told me to turn my car on and stick it in. I asked him where does it go and he said in the car under the steering wheel. I have no clue about cars which is why I came to this place for help. After about 10 minutes I asked if he can at least show me where it goes and he said he couldn’t due to Covid. Trust me, as a frontline worker I totally get it but the lack of customer service and the feeling of just getting brushed off with no assistance is crazy. Definitely wouldn’t recommend coming here

Sent here from the store on Woodward after the clerk there broke our daughters rear windshield wiper. Tony, the manager, was awesome. He ordered us a new part (free) and replaced it when it came it. Will come here for all our auto needs now. Thanks Tony.

What a wonderful experience! 5 Star Service!! On Monday, September 28, 2020, I visited the AutoZone in Clawson Michigan on 14 mile. I was greeted by an employee, a young man named Tony who went over and beyond to help me solve a problem that I was having with my range rover windshield wipers.Tony listened to my concerns regarding the windshield wiper blades, still on my suv after I replaced the original windshield with a new one, which had left permanent scratch marks on the original windshield, that I recently replaced due to the scratches. Not only did he take the time to come out to my car In The RAIN, but he was also joined by another wonderful employee and young man by the name of Aaron, who also went above and beyond to help me solve the issue that I was having. Tony and Aaron assessed the issue I was having with the windshield wipers, looked up the appropriate windshield wipers in the AutoZone system in attempts to help me find replacement blades so that my new windshield would not be in danger of getting scratched. When they found that no blades were available for my SUV, Aaron suggested a water repellent for my windshield that would allow the rain to be off of the glass, involving less strenuous contact from my wiper blades on the windshield. I know that this was a long explanation but I just want to say I think God for Tony and Aaron because they really helped me today. I hope that when promotions and raises come about that these two young men are first in line to receive them both. Thank you ever so much Tony and Aaron!

Bought a set of wiper blades and they were installed by friendly helpful staff . Was great to walk in and leave with service done. A Good to Go experience was my first time there, and Ill go again.

The manager Aron, fellow United States Marine went above and beyond the call of duty early last week. I brought my BMW M6 in with a check engine light and he was kind enough to pull the code and explain what it meant. I had a misfire on cylinder 1, he explained that I should start by first taking the cheaper route which would be to change the spark plug, then the coil and then finally the fuel injector if the problem persisted. I did insist on taking a spark plug and coil that day, after calling my mechanic and dealer they were going to be closed for 3-4 weeks due to the current situations. While Aron processed the transaction we were talking and he had a BMW 3 series that he built the motor on, he explained that it was not in Autozones policy to change a spark plug let alone a coil especially on a BMW. He then explained if I could wait till he got off work about a hour later he could do it once he punched out. He could sense my frustration because the car was in limp mode and I could not drive faster than 15 MPH once he was off the clock he quickly gathered all the tools needed and it took him about 10 minutes to replace the plug which was completely burnt and replace the coil which had some melting. The car is running stronger than ever and Aron was able to take care of me in a way that I couldn’t believe from an Auto Parts store let alone a dealer rarely fixes the problem as quickly. Once it was all back together and I drove it around the parking lot the engine light went away and the car came out of limp mode, I then went over to him while he was putting the tools away and asked if I owed him anything or if I could pay him, he simply said no that I was taking care of a customer and trying to earn repeat business from myself I stood there in shock because the dealer would’ve charged upwards of 500$ for labor. Aron and Autozone have since then received more of my business and I wish every store had a employee like him. He sure as hell has great customer service and is extremely knowledgeable on cars but also foreign cars which are more complex in some situations. I am extremely grateful for him, and I would like to thank him for his service not only at Autozone but to our country as well, you can definitely tell her carries himself as a Marine. I use this place at least once a week, I am a lube tech for suburban and I personally always order parts from them and they have never steered me wrong. From the people up front such as Brandi who ALWAYS helps me out and gives me the real deal and recommends good products and steers me away from bad ones, to Eric in the back who is the manager I assume for ordering parts in the back. I had a coil issue and ordered the wrong one and he did everything in his power to get it right, had things specially done and even made a special trip to my store to help return some ones that wouldn’t fit. I have notbing but good things to say about this store and staff please support them they truly do deserve it.

My car was having some difficulties shifting and I was looking for a part that I thought I needed. I asked the guy if he had the part, which I honestly wasnt even sure if I really needed, and he walked out if the store and took a look at my car and gave me some advice. He also gave me a card of a place nearby that he said would be cheaper than my dealer and would be able to fix it. I still havent gotten around to fixing it being away at college and all, but I still remember him trying to help. Nice place

Staff is helpful and friendly and I felt like they went above and beyond to suggest solutions/products, then offer deals and coupons, so much better than other auto part stores in the area. THEN recently had to make a return (about $80 of a $250 purchase) and the associate was rude, didnt listen or offer alternate solutions. Left feeling screwed out of money from a coupon that had been applied.

Friendly staff, and knowledgeable service. Ive stopped in here a few times and if you need a part but you dont know much about it, they can look it up quickly. Only down side was that the lights were off here which made it hard to find things in the aisles.

Great experience. The associate helped me diagnose the error code in the vehicle, get the replacement part, provide tools to fit it and also said if it doesnt clear the code in a few days. Come back and well figure it out. What more can you ask for. Prices are usually okay but with deals can be great!

Im already kicking myself for forgetting his name but the tall, red haired gentleman whose name I think started with an A was so incredibly helpful. Not only did he find the lights I was searching for for me, he helped install them. Im not underestimating when I say my car is a downright b*tch to change the headlights on. After about 30 min in the freezing cold weather, he had done all the work for me which I had not expected. Incredibly friendly staff and insanely helpful. I cannot recommend them enough. 5/5

I picked up my vehicle from the dealership, which they had for a week, they said that my battery was not holding a charge, and I headed over to Autozone. Here Eric G. was extremely helpful and friendly. He recommended a battery, he installed it in the cold rain, he did an alternator and starter test, and he informed me with all the free services Autozone offers. My vehicle was ready to go within 30 minutes vs. the dealership, that took a week! The experience I felt from Eric was of genuine care vs. the disgusting, I need a shower feeling from the dealership. Update: another fantasy experience at auto zone Clawson. After being told from a local competitor that they could not install my headlight bulb I went accords the street to autozone. I purchased the items needed and Eric was kind enough to install my headlight bulb and brake light bulb. These guys understand the meaning of going above and beyond. Thanks Eric, I really appreciate it!Came to autozone in Clawson to have my battery tested for my 09 f150. Was greeted promptly by Brandon. He confirmed my battery was indeed bad. I purchased a new one. He also offered to install. We were having issues removing the old battery due to a rusted bracket that held the battery in place. Another associate named Carl came out to assist followed by store manager Tony. After several attempts Tony was able to remove the bracket. I am so pleased by the way this team attacked my situation. They genuinely cared about resolving the problem. I am grateful for their efforts. Nice job guys. Excellent customer service. Very pleased!!!
