They’re more interested in talking your ear off for a tip instead of doing a good job. My lady did a bad job painting my nails. Disappointed and expected better from professionals

This shop is awesome. They have been doing my nails for years. The owner is very passionate about her job about her business and she loves what she does as well as everyone else that works there. My nails last for very long time. and I am always surprised and never disappointed. I can give an idea and they make it come alive. this is where I get my waxing and pedicures as well.

I had made an appointment for me and my little sister for 3:30 when i showed up they had every chair booked. so i waited for 30 mins for them to finish. once it was my turn i got sat in the chair w the older woman she then proceed to start my nails Complaining ab the last persons job, when she was finished she told me not to come back too much work me thinking she joking i ignored it ( i had only point out one thing I didn’t like she kept getting angry with me)just being rude when she was done i said thank you and she shook her head no and started to speaking herLanguage to her friend making me think she saying stuff ab me specifically since she had a attitude the whole time. Then i go to check my sisters nails out. They wereHorrendous they charged a extremely high amount ive never paid for simple short nails and gave her gel when we asked reg and she didnt know what gel was so she didnt stop her. Comes out to 120$ for terrible service. Then they decided to tip their selfs with my card. I will never return here don’t recommend

My go to place for about 4 or 5 years now. Ive read the other reviews and dont understand some of them. Yes, there may be a language barrier with some technicians, but Alex is great and can communicate with everyone. I love her straight to the point demeanor and the fact that they dont tell you to wait 5 more minutes when they know good and well its going to be another hour. They honor their appointments and are doing everything reasonable and a little beyond to keep everyone safe during Covid. Alex has done my nails perfectly for years. If you want to keep our great businesses open, be sure to support during the rough times as well as the good!

My coworker recommended this place to me and so i decided to try out this salon for the first time . honestly i would come back ! they were super nice , helpful , they match the colors and ask if you want it exactly the way it is in pictures , if you have any , as best as they could . tom was the one that did my nails and he did such a good job . a couple weeks ago i went to diamond nails for the first time as well (i posted my nails and review there if you want to check it out and they were TERRIBLE !) i can honestly say that was such a rip off considering the fact that i paid the same amount as i did here so if you need a place to go , i definitely recommend this place ! they’ll treat you with the care you need and is such a friendly environment .

Experience here will depend on your manicurist.I have tried 4 different people here and have had great experiences with two of the people and horrible experiences with the other two.A great experience will give you exactly what you want with a consistent price.My horrible experiences involved a lot of upsell, poor communication, the manicurist basically did what they wanted, and I ended up hating how my nails looked. I also ended up paying different prices for the same service and had times where the gel polish lifted within 3 days.The key to a great experience here is to book with the owner of the salon (I cant remember her name) or with Tammy. These are the two I can reccomend without any hesitation.I personally book with Tammy consistantly now. I have special requests and Tammy follows great direction. I have nailbeds that when layers are built up upon, can look a little fat. So I like my nails filled more on the side to give a skinnier look.They have a good variety of colors and while the salon might not lead the way for new innovative technique, style, and colors, they do a good job at keeping up with the trends.

Went here with my aunt for the first time for homecoming and she did a really good job! The manicure that I got was basic but pretty good, my gel acrylics turned out exactly how i wanted them. I would rate 4.5 but i doesnt let me do half stars. It isnt 5 stars because the price was a little more than what I am used to but cheaper than a lot of salons. I would say it is on the expensiver side so be prepared but its not expensive. Just look how gorgeous these nails are! Also the environment was nice and my pedicurist and manicurist had clear enough accents to where i could understand them ( in most salons i cant) and they were sweet and tried to talk to me but not have a lot of conversation which made me happy because i have social anxiety and hate small talk with strangers.

I love it here. The people are so friendly and they will try just about any design you can ask them to make. They work fast so their is hardly ever a wait if you call ahead of time.

Great service for me and my grandfather. His feet were in desperate need and they handled him well, just like they do Everytime he comes. For me, my nails are nicely done, shaped well. The only reason it is not a 5 out of 5 stars was because the lady did not speak any English and forgot me under the dryer. But, that said, excellent service!

I went on May 8, 2017. the man that works here did my nails, he seemed sweet but did a beyond terrible job. I went in around $pm, they dont close until 7 so there should have been no rush. I received a full set and he finished within a half and hour. He cut almost every single finger while grinding my nails down, he also kept hitting the top of my hand with the grinder as well. never apologized. My nails are filed all unevenly. the gel he placed on top is crooked and he missed parts on every finger. he only did one top coat and sent me on my way. there are tons of bubbles, he missed areas on my nails again. my hands are incredibly sore. He did a terrible job, dont go to him!!

Poor service all around. Expensive to start and they continued to heavily push up sells. Very little communication skills. They didnt ask what I wanted, but instead started to do it the way she wanted. I wish I could say only one manacurist was the problem, but 4 of us went and only 1 of us was satisfied.

They have a good selection of gel polish. However, if you are looking for regular nail polish be prepared to be disappointed. They do a good manicure or pedicure. I find the constant attempts to upsell annoying. The I can do this for just $5 or this for $10 more. However, the people are very nice, and the facilities are quite clean and pleasant.

The ladies here are absolutley amazing. They make you feel comfortable and get to know you. They dont rush through services and make sure you have an amazing experience every time. Their signature pedicure is THE BEST! And you cant forget about their awesome message chairs.

I get my eyebrows waxed here. Its affordable and they always do a good job! The staff is also very nice, so its east to want to come back.

My feet were dipped in wax bags and Ive never experienced so much pleasure in a pedicure before. Fairly priced too.

My experience here was horrible I whent in today 08/09/19 maybe a couple minutes before 5:50pm to get an under arm wax and upper lip wax and the service was horrible will never be back again. The lady that did my wax tried 2 times to wax my upper lip and then continued to do my under arms 2 times as well repetlly going over the site 2-4 times. After she stated she was done I checked on the mirror and all the hair on my upper lip were still there so I pointed it out to her and she did it for the 3rd time while I was standing up there looking at the mirror but still failed ( didnt even ask me to get it plugged). Then I checked my under arm and there was a huge bruise under my right under arm. At this point I was frustrated and decided to just leave so while walking out to pay I asked to speak to the manager and she was completlly unprofessional. I told her what happend and she stated that they could do it again and get the hairs removed and I refused because at this point I was hurting and told her that I didnt whant to get waxed anymore because they were just hurting me. She stated that they could tweeze all the left over hairs so I agreed so I asked for someone different. She stated I had to wait for her to be done putting nails on a customer that she had just started (I know she had just started because me and that customer got there at the same time and they took me back first before they took her cause she was working on another girls nails). I was not about to wait to 30-40 minutes more so I asked her to speak to someone above her and she said she was the only one available at during that shift. So I asked to speak to the owner and she refused she stated that the owners were not available. She informed me that all she could do is give me $2 off like really... I wouldnt of mind paying the full amount if the job would of been done rigth. I know sometimes its hard to get all the hairs off with wax (I do this every week and 1/2 or 2 weeks) all of the places I have ever gone to if there is any hair left they will remove it with tweezers but didnt get that offered until I spoke with manager. I paid for the poor service that was done and now I have a big bruise under my arm and tomorrow I will be going somewere else to get my lip waxed ( so I have to pay again).

They are wonderful here took me right away on friday night after another nail shop cancled me. This place is legit all leather chairs. everyone here is very friendly. I would 1000% recommend this place!

I got a pedicure and Ask for Calais remover And she told me she cant buff out my feet left my feet feeling really rough on the bottom Ive asked him nicely if they can buff out The roughness on the bottom of my feet she said she cant So I told them I am not going to pay for it and my daughter got a full set of nails and She cut my daughters finger with a scissors She wants to call the cops and so she did but guess who won me

Worst experience here, guy it all backwards, did not do all the scrubs, horrible paint job, washed my legs with hand soap he grabbed from the sink, didnt massage my legs or feet at all. Horrible nail shop. Do not waste your time or money here.

I got a set and the next day one broke and the other popped off. I went back to get them fixed and was charged $10 to fix the nails that broke the very next day. Now that I’m looking closely the acrylic wasn’t even applied right. I forsure wont be back.

Walked in. On a thur morning with one of my friends and her full set of nails where done way faster i was sitting there for almost 3 hours people that came in after me where leaving before me my nails are very un even and the acrylic is thicker on most of my nails then some there is a peice of dirt stuck in my acrylic went back on monday to have them fixed and they wanted to charge me an extra 20 dollars to have them fixed when i had paid 40 on thur for a fill said if i would have came back sooner they would have fixed them will never come back to this place i was looking for a place here in sac to get my nails done cause i live in fair oaks and normally get them done in lodi very upset about this place cause i did lile some of the stuff that they did offer as far as colors and stuff but they did not want to try and help fix my nails that they messed up

I am not even sure where to begin. This was my third attempt at this salon. The first time, I was a walk in, needed a simple polish change and got a mediocre job. The 2nd time, I scheduled an appointment, got there on time, 20 minutes later while I was still waiting, I gave up and left. I thought I would try again. HUGE mistake. I showed up on time, needing a simple polish change. I wanted them to look nice for the holiday. I asked for a manicure. After arguing with me at ever turn about what I wanted, she started hacking away at my cuticles without properly soaking and then used NO cuticle lotion. I had to continually tell her she was hurting me. She then sprayed rubbing alcohol on the open lesions that she had cut into my cuticles. As she was slopping on polish without finishing the manicure, she continues to argue with me that the manicure is done AFTER the polish or it wont stick. I have been doing my nails long before this woman had been born. I have lost all confidence in this womans capabilities and her unprofessionalism was second to none. I asked her to make sure the polish touches the skin as she was leaving those ugly nail lines and she argued with me again. I told her at that point that she and I were NOT a good fit, and she was not to continue. She demanded $20. I asked to see the pricing list as I would pay her for the little she had done. She refused to bring me one and I had to walk to the counter to read the one taped down. A full manicure was $13. To that point all she had done was hack up my cuticles, put on a base coat and was beginning the polish. There was no manicure. There was no price list that I could look . My two daughters were waiting patiently for me. I absolutely could NOT believe it. I have NEVER been argued with, spoken rudely too or had someone treat me like that at a nail salon. Her name is ALEX. I should have read the reviews. She scoffed at me as I left telling me to never return. I almost had to laugh. You could not pay me enough money to walk in there again. I left there, went to Salon dElegance on San Juan. They were courteous, polite, professional, and I came out with a GORGEOUS holiday pain job that was exactly what I had requested without being spoken down to or argued with. Save your time. Save your money. Save your frustration level.

I took my daughter to get her nails done for her birthday and I got mine done as well however the guy who did my nails didnt ask me throughout the process if I liked the way he was doing them and I ended up with nails that look like i have little tiny fans on each of my fingers I hate the way they look Im so disappointed and I will never go back there again.

The lady told me $25 on the phone for a fill & then after I got them done when I went to go pay the guy told me $40 ....

One of the worst nail salons I have ever been to its dirty the people that work there are very rude and racists there was cockroach on the counter after I seen the cockroach at the beginning they said my full set was 45 at the end they were asking for 65 I ask for coffin shape it looks more like stiletto shape none of them match the glue was all over my fingers not to mention she have cut me multiple times very nasty place would never go back even if it was free
