They can fix vintage gear. Restored my vintage turntable and repaired my receiver. They are not a discount shop, they pay a living wage to the techs who can bring life back to classic audio.

Just needed a piece of advice re: the type/size of a fuse. The lady at the counter was so sweet and reassuring and when she had to call the man working in back to do the volt/amp/current/fuse equation he was helpful too. Very helpful folks!

I had a great experience here. I took my fender super champ x2 since it was making some cracking and sizzling noises. The amp was under the 5 years warranty. They told me that the turnaround was 2 weeks and that it would cost me $95 if they didnt find any problem or fender considered the noise normal. I called the day before the 2 weeks passed and they told me that the amp was ready. I picked it up and went straight home to plug it. I played for a few hours and indeed the noises are gone. The gentleman at the shop explained what he did and they told me that if there was any problem I can take it back. Overall the lady and the gentleman I interacted with were very respectful, professional and straightforward. I would definitely recommend this place. Im very grateful and happy for their service.

I had them repair an old keyboard last year. It broke again after just a couple hours of use. If you deal with them, make sure youre very specific about what you want and that every detail is WRITTEN on the ticket. On the good side, they were able to find used parts for a keyboard that was 10 years out of manufacture. The company no longer builds keyboards of any type.

I don’t think this is an honest business. I took my 2 speakers there for repairs. I paid $85x2 ($170) for diagnosis. But this speakers were not checked at all. They just assumed that the amplifier of each speaker needs to be replaced. I looked all around the speakers I did not see any trace of screwing or unscrewing when I picked my speakers back.New speaker cost less than $500 each but you want me to pay $580 each for repairs.I remember the day I dropped the speakers, after paying $170 then the man told me they’ll get back to me in 2 weeks cos they busy. I wanted to change my mind and take my speakers back, but the old man convinced me and said when do I want it fixed, I told him in a week and then he said he’ll make my job a priority.Bottom line is, my speakers were not diagnosed, they just took my $170 for nothing. There was no diagnosis, nor any findings, no recommendations in the receipt that they gave to me which justify my claim that no job was performed on my speakers. My advice to you, be honest and people will keep patronizing your business

Super cool guys... Called for advice in my own repair project and they had no problem giving me some pointers! Would have been easy for them to say bring it in and pay for repairs but I got the feeling he wanted my synth to be repaired as quickly and easily as i did! I will definitely be back for anything beyond my repair expertise!!!

STAY AWAY!!! Took receiver in for diagnosis (which costs $85) and was told low voltage regulator was out and would cost $270 to fix. Receiver cost less than that so I took it back and then discovered it was covered under warranty Sent it to factory authorized dealer who discovered a wire was loose, fixed it in five minutes, and when I asked if low voltage regulator was out, technician said it was fine and obviously just a wire. When I called Rainbow to explain and ask what they could do, a woman who said she was the owner said theyve been in business 28 years and their technicians are very experienced. Enron was in business for more than 28 years too, and obviously she meant their technicians are very experienced at ripping people off. Read the reviews before you waste your time and money at this shoddy establishment.

Had my product for almost 2 months, cost to fix $400 so just had them replace 2 speaker wires. They said evaluation cost $85 up front would go twards work. Ended up charging me $85 for labor and $35 for parts for the same better wires i can get at Fryes for $20. Overcharged like hell, the arr overpriced and aragent. Will never use them again, i woek in the electronics industry and am going to be sure to tell everyone to never use these clowns ever!!!!
