This company and the owner, Steve, are both incredible to work with. We had a very difficult concrete project that other concrete companies either wouldnt quite us for or would way over-quote us for. Steves price was fair, but his workmanship, professionalism, and knowledge were second to none. He dealt with a couple of problems that arose very well and was always kind and caring. He followed through on his word and I wouldnt recommend anyone else to work with. Give them a call with any of your needs and you can be assured of a high quality, professional job!

We hired Setzers Tree Service to remove a large tree in our backyard and also a large limb hanging off our neighbors tree that was leaning over our property. I couldnt be more pleased!When Steve came to give the estimate, I had a lot of questions. He was very patient with my questions and never rushed me to finish for the estimate.On the day they cut the trees they arrived in a timely manner of when we were told theyd arrive. The owner, Steve, and his workers were very professional and above and beyond kind. Cutting trees can be a messy job but they left our property SPOTLESS! They did an awesome job cleaning up the mess and doing just as we were told they would do for us. I couldnt be more pleased with the work they did for us and the professionalism and care they took to keep our yard clean and free of debris.I highly recommend this business for all your tree and lawn care needs and with their A rating on the BBB (under Setzers Lawncare & Landscaping) it is clear that others agree!

Theyve done a wonderful job for us on multiple occasions!

I started using Setzers Lawn Care service in spring 2017. The owner (Steve) started out very nice to work with. I was charged more because the width of my fence in my backyard only allowed a push mower through it. The yard is a small yard. After the first cut I noticed large round holes in the front lawn after each cutting. The lawnmower or the wheels were pulling the grass from the roots leaving a barren area. A standing riding mower was being used and it was leaving 1-3 of these areas, each being 12-24 in diameter after each mowing. When brought to his attention he stated that it was because the lawn was uneven and that it would take to long to mow the grass with a push mower even though my front lawn is not very big. The owner and employees arrived today to cut the grass and again I brought it to the owners attention that a bald area occurred with the last cutting. He became angry and said that if I could not live with the bald areas that resulted that I needed to get someone else to cut the grass. His anger was disproportionate to the discussion.Even though he had started cutting the grass and his employees had started working on the lawn he told his employees to stop and put the equipment up and that they were leaving. Totally unprofessional behavior. When asked why he was that angry he responded that it was because I kept bringing up the problem of the barren holes that were being left. I stated that as a professional he should finish the job then choose not to do any further business if he wished. I also suggested that rather than behaving inappropriately angry that as the owner he should have talked with me about what could be done to improve the situation to make his job easier for the following year. It was as though he was already in a bad mood before he arrived. He left the yard with partial cutting and trimming.His behavior was inappropriate. If you choose this business, which I do not recommend, keep in mind that if you bring an issue to his attention, he has a short fuse and he gets angry very quickly. He doesnt seem to know how to problem solve as a business owner nor to understand that doing this is a part of good customer service. As he was leaving he made comments that were intertwined with a condescending, judgmental, and biased tone.Ironically, his two employees were always respectful and professional. Its sad that his employees demonstrated a higher level of professional behavior and delivered better customer service than the owner! If you are looking for a professional business, this IS NOT the one for you. He does not receive feedback well, he has a short fuse, and he will walk off of the job if he becomes angry. He lacks the ability to follow through with a commitment. His anger is disproportionate to the problem and demonstrates anger management issues. Do yourself a favor and go with a different company. Also, his company is not a member of the BBB!
