Jasmine was wonderful! I knew my body was full of stress/tension, but she made me feel like a million bucks. I also really, really, really appreciate that she wore a mask without asking. That alone makes me want to be able to rate you higher than a 10.

Stylist Ava was awesome to deal with. She communicated clearly what she was going to do and listened to what I wanted. She used great techniques which resulted in a terrific cut and amazing color.

My hair stylist, Lillian is amazing. She is so friendly and welcoming. She makes me feel beautiful. She focus’ on really getting my hair the way I want it, while tying in her creativity. I also love all the ladies at Mitchell’s Salon. They are all so nice and great to be around.

First time in this branch. Did a maternity massage and Jasmine was amazing and very professional! Will definitely go back for massage. Staffs were nice but this branch is too small. Gave this 4 starts because the waiting area is too small that there’s not much room to wait, you’d have to stand up. Rooms were also close to each other that I could hear other people laughing from my massage room.

Everyone was very friendly! From the staff at the front reception desk to Brittney everyone made my first and second visits very pleasant. My first experience at another location left me feeling unwelcome. I still had a gift card to use and I knew I did not want to go back to that location. I’m glad I chose Hyde Park!

I had the Vitamin C Infused Anti-Aging Facial with Microcurrent treatment, which I have had before. It usually gets tingly and itchy while the solution is processing, but I felt absolutely nothing. Not even one single little tingle. So I didnt feel like I had gotten the treatment I paid for.

I have not had my spray tan appointment yet but I just wanted to say that I spoke with Mary who answered the phone and she was amazing. She gave me lots of informative information about tanning/spray tanning. I did make an appointment. She was very professional and very kind to me and took a lot of time to answer all of my many many questions

I got my hair highlighted by Bri and it turned out amazing! She asked lots of questions to be sure of what I wanted and delivered exactly that! I’ve never been more pleased with friendly service and amazing quality. Definitely will continue going here from now on!

I love Lorna and Ava! My eyebrows and hair looked a hot mess when I went in between COVID and my pregnancy I don’t get a lot of time out for myself. They made me feel comfortable, relaxed, amazing conversation, my hair and eyebrows looked amazing! I will definitely make this my Mitchell’s go to location!

I had a great massage and pedicure but the ambiance of the salon was lacking. It was not calm, relaxing, or inviting. The counter staff was not attentive when I had questions. The room for massage had a bright orange light, looked like a hospital room, and the music was high tempo.

Tamica my Masseuse was amazingly great. I had been working a lot in the past month and my shoulder is sore and She sent me to my own oasis, island retreat, she was quite engaging and friendly. My first time there and it was definitely a 10 out of 10 hands down, I don’t know how the other masseuses are but she was a dream

I’ve been to two different stylists here and they have both done a beautiful job lightening my hair into the blonde I love. I’ll never go to anyone else!

I immediately recommended her and Mitchells to my friends and family when I left because I was so impressed with her friendly personality, the service (loved the spa water), and the quick cut! My wife and I came here to get an hour message. We had Heather as our massage therapist. I cant stress enough how patient, helpful, understanding, and absolutely talented this woman is. I got off the bed feeling completely rejuvenated and my wife was already scheduling appointments in the future. Would highly recommend, though we did not use salon.

Samantha Newman is the down right amazing! I went in to get my haircut with her yesterday after getting a bad color job and she spent all day, even stayed after, to fix my hair and make sure I was happy. Her attention to detail is meticulous. I’ve trusted Sam with cutting my hair for ten years and now, I’ll never trust anyone but her for my color!

Martha is like a fairy godmother. I told her what I wanted and she went above and beyond! She taught me about the products she was using on my hair so I could recreate the same look. Ive been between stylists for a while but I found my stylist here with Martha and couldnt be happier.

Deep Tissue Massage with Jasmine

I got a hair cut today and unfortunately left super disappointed! I really wanted to love my cut and I normally love getting my hair done, but sadly this trip did not go the same. My appointment felt very rushed I was in and out of the salon in 15 minutes. My hair dresser asked if it was okay to cut my hair dry which I do not usually prefer but I agreed because I had no idea what was about to come. Once she “finished” blow drying my hair she asked me to stand where she was standing, she proceeded to take out men’s razor/buzzers to cut my hair as seen in sketchy Instagram videos(while still standing)! She then did little touch up with the scissors, and did not style my hair before I left, but I did leave with an uneven cut and the top of my hair still wet as well as the back of my shirt from when she washed my hair. I feel as though I was rushed and not taken seriously because I am a teenager. I left lacking confidence and frustrated. It’s hard to admit but I even cried over it later that evening because I felt so hopeless! I didn’t want to say anything to the hair dresser before I left because I am a people pleaser and I didn’t want to hurt her feelings or make the situation awkward. The goal of getting your hair done is to feel better when you come out than when you went in, but sadly, this was definitely not the case for me today.

My mom brought me for a massage. I know it was pricey but Jamie the therapist was excellent. Ill return & look forward to it

I go to Mitchells because there is a high bar for talent and professionalism ; I know it will be right and I have never been disappointed. The stylists dont waste time jabbering so I know they are focused on doing their best work to help me feel great about myself. My stylist is the bomb!

Massage was excellent however the room was small and far from luxurious. It felt like I was in a closet. The room definitely needed updating.

Mila cut my hair and she did a great job but for the price I guess I expected more. She listened to me and made my hair look good but I had a $20.00 dollar haircut at Bang Bang salon in Clifton that was way better.

I just had a 60 minute facial. My skin looks great and the products and treatment were nice... when I was actually being treated. Now I dont know if this is standard practice at Mitchells, but any other facial Ive ever had they are working on you the ENTIRE time. For some reason, in between each little thing she did there would be like a 2-4 minute gap where she wasnt doing anything on me and was just standing there. For example, I had she put a hydrating mask on my face and during that time I was supposed to be getting a foot massage. Well, she put the mask on...and then did nothing for a few minutes while I just laid there...then finally started rubbing my feet...and then again shed stop for a few minutes....and then come and take my mask off. I had something covering my eyes so I couldnt tell what she was doing, but I kept wondering if she was on her phone in between each little thing. At first I thought it might just happen at the beginning--like maybe she was getting situated--but it happened the whole time. Apply mask (2-4 minutes later), rub feet, (2-4 mintues later), remove mask, (2-4 minutes later) rub shoulders, (2-4 minutes later) apply second mask, (2-4 minutes later) massage hands... Instead of just standing around I should have had a longer foot massage, a longer shoulder massage, etc. I should have been enjoying something the whole time! Therefore a 60 minute facial, felt more like a 35 minute facial. And truthfully I was getting anxious and frustrated while laying there in between each thing, so it wasnt very relaxing. Of course I didnt want to say anything on the spot and confront her 1) because I shouldnt have to and 2) because then the facial would get REALLY awkward. Anyway, my face feels great and nice, but if this gap of time between each little service is common Im not coming back. I pay for an hour and I want to be pampered the entire hour. I would definitely appreciate being contacted by Mitchells for a follow up.

If rating Mitchells expensive experience I would give it a 4 due to the up sell practice but in rating my wifes hair stylist/colorist I have to give her a 5. She is kind, accomodating, quick from start to finish, funny, and just a master of her craft. Alas, she must remain anonymous or my wife would never be able to book a future appointment with her...then again....so her name is Ah, I cant do it. I can give a hint though: rumoured to be the stylist behind The Dalton.

For years now Ive been going to Toby for my wax and Kayla for hair (Hyde Park location). They are the absolute hands down best. I wish the music here wasnt so drab and lame I mean do they know who their clients are sheesh.

I love coming to Mitchells everyone is so nicehere but samantha usely dose my hair so good but unfortunately she was off this Friday and I was goin to an event so I wanted to be pretty an get my hair cutt an styled so I did just that an left crying because my hair just looks chopped an the style was awful I asked her to stack the back of my hair in layers but instead it jus looks like she chopped peaces out. she barely straighted or curled my hair I was hoping for so much more I wish I would have scheduled with samantha 😭😭😭😔😔

As a person with mixed textured hair, I was extremely nervous but my stylist did an amazing job and I was completely satisfied.

I impulsively stopped in for a OPI gel manicure, The receptionist was friendly and there was a appointment right away. I had Kim as my nail tech, although she was nice there was a strange vibe I couldnt place. There was leftover base coat left from the removal, that was glazed over but I didnt feel like the awkward Hey youre missing a spot, I figured in places like this detail was Included in the priceI finished my gel mani, and avoiding the up-selling ended up paying $53 dollars (excluding tip) for a shellac manicure and removal. I hate that feeling where it doesnt feel like a good deal, and this was one of those instances. For the spa ambiance without the stuffiness and personable staff try Paragon. Skip Mitchells unless someone else is paying.

I have been going to Mitchells for over 10 years

I had an appointment for a manicure at the Rookwood Pavilion Mitchells. It was supposed to be at 9:30. I paid for an Uber to get there. I got there around 9:15. I waited and waited until about 10:00 when they told me she hadnt shown up for work, and they couldnt get in touch with her. I was leaving the next morning for a trip, so I really needed my nails fixed before then. They couldnt work me in, so they did give me a gift card for the price of a manicure. However, it cost me the price of a manicure just to pay fory Uber there and back, not counting the fact that I had lost the morning of a very busy day. I hope the manicurist is OK, but this was one huge waste of time and expense.
