Body jewel saved my piercing. I got my conch pieced at a different shop about a little over a year after i came to them (this was back in February so i’m a little late on my review) and it was not healing well at ALL. i kept cleaning it and it just always hurt and always had a bump. So i came to them and asked for their advice and Aubree was very helpful on what I should do. I then got it switched out that day to a different, better material than my previous jewelry and it was fully healed about 3 months later. Would highly recommend.

I had an amazing experience with the front desk worker Teejay. He was extremely knowledgeable about all of the piercings and jewelry and was extremely helpful. He is definitely one of the best workers there and I would recommend him for anything.

There is always a long wait time and they only do walk ins. Also some of the staff is a bit rude. To be fair they do good work and offer a decent amount of body jewelry.

I have visited this location multiple times, and typically never had an issue. Most of the staff is friendly and informative.Until 9/12, I had a positive view of this business. TJ (an employee) is very unprofessional when dealing with certain situations. I brought my child to have his ear re-pierced after the hole closed due to some irritation and as expected, TJ asked for an ID. My kid is 16, thus I provided my ID. TJ assumed that I was not the parent (not sure if it was because I am an African American male and my child is caucasian) and told me it had to be his ID. TJ stated that a parent has to be present, and I advised him that I was the parent, hence why I provided my ID initially. He looked at me as if he was baffled and asked again if I was the parent. I reiterated that yes, I was. TJ then decided to place his hands on his hips, squint his eyes at me and tell me that he didnt believe me. Immediately following, I was told that Id have to provide some type of documentation to prove my claim. What parent carries their childs birth certificate around? To his dismay, I actually have my custody documents saved to my phone and I showed him, but at this point only to ensure that he knew he was in the wrong for the way he treated us. I advised him that he did not have to worry about anything else, as I would discuss his demeanor and choice of words with his manager, only to be told the manager was not there that day.I have been trying to reach someone in management since that day, and have yet to be contacted. I wanted to avoid leaving a review like this, as I was intending to just suggest sensitivity training, as I do not believe TJ realizes how much words can hurt, especially to blended families.It is important to note that not everyone of us walks the same path in life, and to remember not to judge people.

My sister and I visited today, her for a new piercing and me to reopen 2 older ones. We had a great experience with Snow and Aubree! They were so nice and fast and managed the crowd very well. They were on top of everything and overall just really awesome! Thanks Snow and Aubree for making our day :)

So I went with a friend to the Tri County location to get her piercings and my first thought walking in was how clean and well lit it was. The little succulents are a nice touch also lol i loved the overall vibe that was given off. The pricing is very well advertised and clear. The jewelry selection is very nice as well. I plan to return for any of my future piercings and to replace any of my jewelry. Because they just have a really great selection. Both employees that were present the day we went were super friendly and helpful!

Great selection, non judgemental staff. Will be back for all our jewelry needs. We got a flat back threadless labret for my 3.5 year old daughters lobes that had Swarovski crystals. Great quality, very pretty.

They were Super nice. They made sure that when I asked a question they made sure I understand what it was and how to prevent infection or anything.

It was an okay experience. I feel like the cashiers whenever I go speak to me as if theyre reading from a script, which isnt that big of a deal, especially considering they greet and check out people over and over every day. Everyone who works there is really nice, however. Pricing is fair, although I will say that when you tip, you tip the total price of your transaction, not just the service. So I paid around $200 for 2 piercings and their jewelry, and the 20% tip was $40, when it was $75 for service. It would make more sense to tip for the service instead of the jewelry too, so if I ever really spend a lot on jewelry upgrades, I do keep the tip low. They seem to care a lot about keeping the store clean which is nice. Try not to go there around 3-5ish if you can. Two times I came in and I had to wait another hour or so because the employees had to take their lunches, and was asked to come back after I filled out paperwork. Its absoultely okay for them to take their break, but for your own convenience, try to see if you can go earlier in the day!edit: Its been a few weeks and my piercing swelling has gone down, unfortunately the piercer pierced my cartilage crooked! I get it can be tricky with masks, but I dont think Ill be going back here anymore after this expensive mistake.

Got piercings done here back in February. Got my lobes and 2 helix piercings. I almost passed out and the piercer made sure I was ok before continuing. Plan to come here again in the future

I didnt get the name of my piercer but she was knowledgeable, friendly and overall amazing! They have a large selection of jewelry and the facility is sparkling clean. Note they do take lunch from 3-4p (I originally got there at 2:45p)

I really enjoy going here for any of my piercings. They are very knowledgeable and have a wide variety of jewelry. Snow is my favorite piercer so I always make sure she is there when I want a new piercing or jewelry changed.

I have bought jewelry from here before a hoop and a stud. The hoop came out in my sleep. And so did the stud. The only difference is I just bought the stud 2 days ago and literally it is gone now. Something told me to not get it because the L shaped hook was so short and small but the sales associate said it wouldn’t fall out 😐😐😐. But here we are ....I’m so annoyed. Because this one tiny stud was damn near $13 just for it to come out of my nose.

I would give 0 stars if i could. i called ahead of time to see if they could change a piece of jewelry for me and they said yes as long as i arrived by 3pm. i arrived at 2:30 and was told they couldn’t change my jewelry until after 4:30 by the same person i spoke to on the phone. i drove 30 minutes across town to come to this specific shop because they told me they could do it quickly and when i got there i was turned away, so a complete waste of time and gas. will not ever be getting anything pierced by them. ever. so unprofessional.

With covid and everything they are limited in what they csn pierce and how many people they can pierce. If you get there when they open you can definitely get pierced. Great place for jewelry too.

Got my first dermal done here. Super fast and easy. Didn’t hurt at all actually. I’m going to go back and get a 2nd one above it. Spider bite dermals. Have to wait another month tho. But super excited. Wish they did tattoos but everyone there is super clean and following all COVID guidelines. I can’t wait to go back for my 2nd then who knows. I’m a baby when it comes to piercings too and I have like 12 tattoos. Piercings are a different pain but I was shocked this didn’t hurt at all. She had to tell me we was done. I was jus on my phone like now. Never would have known. I may try my hips but those can reject and chest but I may try my hips or dimples lol idk maybe jus the 2 I’m waiting by my eye. We will see. Either way. Awesome clean friendly place and staff.

Went in on 11/1/20. There was a 90 minute wait- no problem. But the guy who we spoke to attempted to discourage us from getting our nose pierced. 1. COVID-19 we are not really doing those right now, 2. You will pull it out using your face mask 3. Longer healing time of 9 months because of face mask and moisture. 4. You can only go one at a time because of Covid.Naturally we went somewhere else that gave us no hassle and asked all the those concerns and were given puzzled looks.Lastly, the guy in Body Jewel serviced everyone, used the cash register, opened and closed the entry and exit ropes, adjusted his mask and handled jewelry with the SAME GLOVES!

My mom and I had a PERFECT experience thanks to Rhia at Tri-County! She was super sweet, very thorough walking us through each and every step of the process, and made sure we were comfortable during the piercings and knew what to do with aftercare! The staff was very friendly and it was very clean and they helped with what I needed but the jewelry itself that I bought, I got threaded nose studs, and they don’t even stay in. They are very loose and won’t stay tightened. Good looking quality jewelry but I paid a lot of money for something that doesn’t even work.

You won’t find a better place to get a piercing !! The people are amazing , kind , and very professional !! And if it counts for anything it doesn’t hurt at all when you get your piercings done here , very smooth

They always have new staff and piercers in and out of this place. They are pretty pricey and it just doesn’t feel as clean of an environment because it’s in a mall. I used to buy nose studs here 2 for $10. You can get a whole pack that they use for $10 on Amazon.

Body Jewel is a great place to go for piercings. This is not your typical mall piercing place. My daughter has many piercings and has been to Tattoo places in the past, but prefers Body Jewel. The piercers are top notch professionals. You cant beat the selection of jewelry either. I wish there was one in St. Petersburg, Fl since we are moving there.

I’ve gotten almost every piercing I’ve ever had at this place since I was 16 years old. Today I got my first and second lobes repierced. Everyone there is so nice and professional and they really make cleanliness and sterilization a priority. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Alexis pierced my belly button and did an awesome job! From the second I saw her confidence I knew everything was going to be fine. Nice place. I had my cartilage pierced there recently. So far it is healing nicely and the piercer was incredibly kind. It was busy but I still only had a 30 minute wait until I got my piercing.

Seems like a decent place. My wife went there for a piercing we had to wait awhile. I would consider them for switching out a piercing.

Snow did a fantastic job piercing my daughters cartilage. She was so helpful throughout the process and made sure we were both comfortable with what she was doing. Snow helped us find the best option for her, personally, and we will make sure to return to her in the future.

I cannot express enough how much I love this location. I have been going to the Tri-County Body Jewel for almost 10 years and I have not once had an incorrect piercing or awful experience!!! Recently, I’ve seen Sara and Debra for conch piercings, second and third ear lobes, and a forward helix. Ray and Aubrey in the front (may also be piercers?) are super welcoming, friendly, and very knowledgable! I saw Rhia around January for a nipple piercing and she was extraordinary making me feel comfortable (piercing was gorgeous as well!). I wish I had given a review for every single piercing (~14 over 10 years) I’ve gotten at this store. Every time is perfect and I’ve NEVER been disappointed, frustrated, or felt the staff wasn’t up to par.Please give them your business!!! They are an exceptional group of people who will take care of any questions or piercing needs!!!!!! Literally, the only reason I’d go to tri-county would be to visit this store! ❤️

So I really like the quality of work here. But one word of caution. Don’t assume they picked the right length for the piercing. Check it before you leave the store. Bought some new earring as and had them change them out for me. When I got home I realized that all four piercings the bars were too long and the earrings hung out to far from my ear. Went back three days later and they charged me the same amount to change out my bars and I did not even get net tops. So just make sure they size you right when you are there.

Had my nose and eyebrow done here, going back in tomorrow! It’s fairly cheap as far as piercings go and all the jewelry is very high quality. The staff that I’ve met are all super friendly and willing to calm down your nerves, and they’re very patient. The only reason I’d take off a star is because sometimes the wait is long and that can give you even more nerves (ah!) and when my nose was done I couldn’t get out my jewelry that they put in until it fell out one day about three months after it had been put in. But that was over two years ago and my eyebrow hasn’t had the same problem, so it’s not a huge deal!

My ears used to be a 7/16 but one day they got irritated so I had to take them out and they closed up to a very small size ... seen this place yesterday at the mall I went in To see if I could find a size captive rings for my ears ... the girl at the counter took a guess and said look like they might be size 4g so I took the chance and it was a perfect fit .. I love the rings very easy to put in and price was nice too ... store looked nice also was surprised they did body piercing also there ... I doubt I will go there for that but will most likely for back for more jewelry

I’ve had a total of 16 piercings done here and they are the best! They walk you through every piercing and know how to help you through the pain. There prices are fair and eveytime I go I always leave with 1 or more piercings because of there buy 1 get one %50 deal!!!

I got my doubles and triples here and it was great! but one day I call and ask which piercing are limited for certain people and they told me which ones which was industrial and bellybutton but then I asked if I could get my tongue done and then they asked to see my tongue and do all these things with it and they said no.. and i’m like... y’all said that tongue piercing aren’t limited but then when I went they said no.. so I went somewhere else and they didn’t ask me any questions and I got my tongue done and my tongue is healing properly and ya so... same with my industrial piercing...

I went in today looking to get my snug pierced and came out with a faux snug piercing—luckily my piercer, Mike, was really knowledgeable and knew regular snug piercings were difficult to heal. He ended up piercing my cartilage and my conch, placing the jewelry to look exactly like a snug piercing. Mike was really great at walking me through the piercings step by step, and they honestly didn’t even hurt. Mike also made sure I knew exactly how to take care of my piercings before I left. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a piercing to go to Mike!

I was a bit skeptical going to a place in a mall for a body piercing. I was afraid the place would turn out to be an adult version of Claires. Gladly, I was wrong. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. All packages were opened in front of me. Mike was great. He explained everything to keep my nerves at bay. Ive spent so much time (and money!!!) in this shop and I love it. There is nowhere else with this many options, and I love that its a physical store because you cant get a good feel for a product looking at it online. Everybody is really helpful and they put up with me asking to look at 9,000 different things before I make a decision. I hate spending money, but I agree with their prices and most things are buy one get one 50% off among similar items.

Love the great service, the quick and easy appointments. They made sure I was comfortable when getting my septum pierced and very clean. Due to lack of employees there sometimes waiting can be a problem. Also, to get them to put your piercing in for you in $10 and I know of places that are free or even $5.
