Just as I was about to back up the photos and data onto a new hard drive (ironically) my external hard drive gave me the click of death. It had years and years of photos and data from my graduate school years on it. Thankfully Elliot walked me through everything, gave me a good estimate, and explained everything. I am so thankful that they have been able to retrieve all of my data. I dont know what I would have done if I had lost all of those photos.

Broke my flash drive and need the data off of it. Sent it to a different data recovery service who gave me a quote which said that the final price would not be more than quote ended up requoting at 6 times the number of days and 33% more in price due to problems with the drive. I placed an order back on September 1, 2020. I paid 1140. I never received my data. Was told by Ryan W and Elijah R. that it was shipped. It was never shipped. I never received it. After a plethora of emails and calls I asked to be refunded and they refused. At this point, I just want my money back. Very incompetent. I wouldnt dare refer this company to my friends and family. They also came off rude and nonchalant in regards to my issue. They took my money. I want a full refund. From 9/1/2020 till today!

I recently lost all my data off my phone. As a filmmaker, my ideas were on my notes, my pictures and videos were in my photos. I had kept my phone in mint condition. It crashed on me suddenly, and Apple blamed it on water damage- which it wasnt. I went to everywhere I could to find somewhere that could recover my data, all to no luck. I could not be more satisfied with the work of Secure Data Recovery in connection with my recent needs. My wifes iPhone simply quit working--couldnt charge it, Apple couldnt find it in recovery mode--nothing. Three years of LIFE was on it (graduation videos, pics, etc.). Had a WD external drive go corrupt overnight. After talking to a couple of places locally, it became apparent that the drive would have to be opened up and data physically recovered. Im writing this review based on numerous pandering requests that I write one. Buyer beware that if you use Secure Data, once your service has been completed, your sales representative will continuously ask you to write a review of them and the company until you actually do. Additionally, youll also get a QA call if you dont write a review to write a review on multiple social networks. I politely declined to the first two times I was asked and then the third time I told them never to contact me about writing a review again. Guess what happened... lo, and behold, another somewhat automated email outlined a service that was only provided because I asked for a lower price, not voluntarily offered, and again used language to almost guilt the customer in to writing one. Well, here it is: Hope youre happy SecureData, Im writing a review to advise people not to use this service if they want peace after the service has been provided. Use another company like SalvageData or, better yet, back up all your stuff on iDrive so that you never have to be out $1k+ to get your own data back.
