Lisa Rose is always a great place to go for anything from zipper replacements on book bags to garment alterations. They have also worked on our Masonic officer aprons which were in pretty bad shape, but now they look like new and we wont have to worry about them falling apart.Make sure to call for an appointment! Please do not walk in.

I recently used Lisa Rose Alterations for my first-ever alterations service; I went to them because I know my mother goes here and likes their work. I had three pieces I needed altered: two pairs of mens pants that needed hemmed, and one womens top whose straps were detaching (and one had completely detached). The first time I stopped by I was unable to be helped (due to COVID, I didnt realize you had to set up an appointment first over the phone), but I ended up setting an appointment for a few days ahead. I brought my things in and was asked if Id like to save 10% by paying upfront, which was a nice surprise. I said yes and got 10% off the service. She gave me a date for two weeks out, which I did think was a little lengthy for the work, but then again I am oblivious when it comes to alteration work since this was my first time using such a service. I wasnt on a time constraint, anyway. Lisa Rose Alterations ended up calling me a few days before my pick-up date letting me know my order was already done, so that was nice. She handed me my order and wished me a pleasant day, and I was on my way. Everything was mended well and correctly. The total cost was $30 and some change. Normally I wouldnt get alterations because most of the time its cheaper to buy new clothes, but these items were ones my husband and I wanted to keep. In the case that I need alterations done again, I wouldnt hesitate to use Lisa Rose Alterations. Their location in Cheviot seems iffy (parking in Cheviot can be awful), but they have a parking lot next to the building that always has spots available, so dont let the location deter you!

10/10 would come here again for future alterations. They were able to my bridesmaid dress, my daughters flower girl dress, and my husbands suit within 3 weeks for a destination wedding. Quality service and flawless work.

A very nice place for having your any sewing done. Easy to get in and out. Work was completed on time an the price was not bad.Owner was Easy to work with and did lesson to our needs for alterations. Will use this business in the future. Keep up good business

This is a 10 star business!! Getting a dress altered is very affordable and a fun experience because one size doesnt fit all. Tracy made me feel very comfortable with the tailoring and offered suggestions. If you think you cant afford custom work, think again, give them a try. Im very happy with the service, quality and detail that goes into every piece. You have a customer for life!!

They were rude Charge 150 to fix the dress ,the hem was uneven,and I still had to have it adjusted in the arms.Wouldnt recommend them.

Bought a pair of weight lifting gloves but the wrist support did not have enough Velcro patches in order for me to get a looser fit. Lisa Rose Alterations was able to add more velcro patches in order to give me the perfect fit.Lisa Rose Alterations is the valedictorian of seamstress shops.

Took my daughters wedding dress here for some alterations and the bustles. They did a horrible job!!! The bustles came unhooked every time she sat down and we noticed the day of the wedding the lace they added on the side of her dress did not match. Her dress is ivory and the lace they added was white. I’m upset with myself for not catching the lace difference but had no way to know the bustles wouldn’t stay up. Please look over all work they do before you pay.

This is Not a friendly place. This is the second time Ive tried this place and each time I get no smile, no hello, oh you must be new here welcome I get none of that. These people are just jerks. Not friendly at all I guess you have to live on the west side for years for them to say hello welcome and smile at you. Speaking of the West Side it SUCKS. People are not welcoming.

Was there 16 March to have a pair of pants hemmed. Was give that it will take 3 weeks and cost over $12 for this job. Seems a little long and a little “pricy” to me but I left them anyway. Cost over half as much to have hemmed as they cost to buy.Haven’t had any “sewing” done in 3-4 years maybe I am just out of touch .
