My basement flooded 6/30 very late at night. Within minutes of calling Kyle, PM at Hays and Sons, he was on the way to help. Many members of upper management were involved that night and days after, and they showed obvious concern for my situation. The water technicians, Shane and Jason from Cincinnati and Kyle from Indianapolis, were very polite, professional, hard working, and attentive to what I asked. They checked in with me consistently to ensure I was happy with the progress. All 3 men worked all day long with a smile. I was very upset from the start of my water damage and each employee helped put me at ease. I have been very happy with everyone involved so far in this process, and so thankful for their tireless assistance. Highly recommend Hays and Sons and huge appreciation for their dedicated workers!

Joshua Anderson the project manager went above and beyond was very communicative and timely with correspondence as well as phone. Very respectful personable, and accommodating ! My neighbors raved about the speed at which my shingles were installed. Efficient and good quality work! I’m very happy with the look of the shingles. Joshua was very helpful in recommendations of type of shingle which aesthetically I’m very pleased with! Upon delivery of shingles they were placed in front of my one car garage making impossible for me to park car in garage. Joshua responded quickly and made it right within in the day! Matt Peterman the estimator did a very thorough inspection for the wind damage I filed a claim for.

Hays and Sons replaced our roof and siding as well as gutters after some storm damage. Every person we spoke with was pleasant and friendly and professional. I have recommended them many times since they worked on our house and I will continue to do so. They worked with our insurance and made the process extremely simple. I can honestly say I feel like they went above and beyond and earned everyone of the five stars Ive rated them.

Unfortunately we experienced a flooded basement which we thought we could handle. Oh how wrong we were! Hays and Sons were incredible. All staff, whether they worked in the office or in our home were professional, polite and supportive. They explained every step of every process which was more complicated than I expected. I would highly recommend this company.

We had a flood of water in our lower level. We used a remediation company suggested by our insurance. Almost as soon as they were done, we noticed dampness and a stale smell. Hays was working next door with a resident who had damage from the same event. I asked Hays employee Shane if he would come look at our situation. He very diplomatically identified deficiencies in the work performed, and took moisture readings which indicated elevated moisture levels in several locations. We immediately contacted our insurance company and engaged Hays, and asked specifically for Shane to do our work. Shane turned out to be as accommodating and professional as we first thought. And all of the Hays people we had contact with were great. The work was completed quickly and we now have a dry lower level. I highly recommend Hays + Sons. (And Shane if you can get him.)

Everything was explained so well and I was involved with the process every step of the way. I was more than thrilled with the job Hays and Sons did on my house after it was struck by a large tree during a bad storm.I contacted my insurance agent that next morning. Within hours, I received a call from Randy at Hays to schedule a time to come out later that day.The following day, they sent a crew out to tarp my damaged roof. They worked with my insurance company in a timely fashion.Eli, my job foreman, was a joy to deal with as well. He went off the grid to get the shingles I really wanted and was always texting giving me updates.I cannot recommend them enough. 1st Class Organization!!

Contracting, subcontracting and billing with homeowners insurance became a problem months after work was completed. Danielle Hays highly unprofessional and tried billing us personally for a subcontractor they did not include or pay. The issue is still unresolved. Collections have been threatened but our homeowners insurance has been informed and hopefully will not use them for further claims.

He was very helpful with giving us advice in a field we are unfamiliar with. He also did an excellent job in keeping us up to date on when certain projects would take place and where we were at on the schedule. The workers that showed up did an outstanding job! We are extremely satisfied with Hays & Sons!! We had been dealing with water leaking into our house for many years. The insurance company sent someone out initially, but they did not discover or resolve the issue. Hays & Sons not only fixed all the issues with excellent craftsmanship, but also worked with the insurance company and handled everything. I strongly recommend them!

They were here when they said they would be.Did a great job cleaning up the mess left from the septic tank back up.They were friendly and explained in detail what they were doing.I would recommend them.

I may alter my review later down the line, but at this point, I am unimpressed. On May 8th, contractor told our landlord that work would begin on Monday, May 11. Today is May 20th, only thing we have received are a few text messages and a phone call, each time giving excuses as to why things are not happening and with promises of people calling us to set up the work. No calls to set up work.

We have water damage that went under our flooring and under our house. The gentlemen who came out and dried out the floor and under the house were very friendly and professional. We are still in the beginning process of having our floor replaced, and unfortunately it seems to be taking a longer time than anticipated. We are still waiting for someone to come out and show us floor samples. Otherwise, we are very happy with the service we have received thus far.The flooring was completed on December 18. They did a wonderful job. I love the new floor, they were very polite and professional and kept me updated upon my request. Thank you!

We recently had a pipe freeze and burst. Our insurance company recommended Hays + Sons, and we are so glad they did! They came the same day to clean up the mess, and once the work was started, it was completed that week! Justin was our project manager, and he was so helpful with explaining the estimate and budget. When the work was completed, it felt like we were walking into a brand new house! 100% would recommend to anyone!

Horrible company!! They came out very quick to dry water up and tear my house apart!! Never returned a phone call until my insurance agent called the ... it was 1 and a half months later!! My husband officially fired them. But they never showed up or called when they said they would be here. Brian didn’t show up or call twice as promised!!

The repairs where only able to be done on weekends and they made arrangements to do so.The work was done fast as it had some complications that was not evident til repairs started, so the workers over came the problem and the repairs where completed. Then as the first repair was done another problem surfaced, where dry wall was coming loose and, they made another call and the next weekend the dry wall was repaired

I liked their 5 year warranty. I had a leak start after the roof was completed and found they dont stand behind their work. They wont even come out to see it for themselves, but did offer to give me a quote and come out to fix it in the spring. I cant imagine how much more damage will be caused by then. The initial job was pretty sloppy as well, they had to come back several times after completion to fix bad shingles, scratches on the metal valley, uncovered nail heads, ripped shingles, etc. One shingle was buckled up against the house and they fixed it by squirting a bunch of roof jack underneath it.

This was the second time my basement had flooded in 11 months. I had just finished up new carpeting and furniture and it happened again. The entire staff was sympathetic (which I was so surprised and impressed by) and attentive. I felt like I was dealing with family. I cant say enough about them and I would recommend them to anyone. Their price estimate was reasonable and fair, as opposed to the first restoration company I used. They made a bad situation that much more bearable.

Very thorough, responsive to your needs

I had water leak into my basement from the heavy rains we had back in the spring. I contacted Hays and Sons. They came out and dried up the basement. I had the foundation fixed by another company. Then I had Hayes and Sons come back to repair where the drywall and carpet areas were tore up from being wet. My basement looks exactly the same as it did before the water leak.

Professional, Nice. Kept in contact, responded to all my concerns.
