My wife was driving through town and was having issues with her car shaking on the highway and something rattling while driving. Dominic was kind enough to take a look, give it a test drive, repair the piece that was rattling, and give her reassurance that shed be able to make it home to get it thoroughly looked over. He also gave clear instructions on what to tell our mechanic once she got home. He ended up not even charging for his diagnostic. He was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. I would highly recommend this shop.

I am a 68 year old man with physical issues (back). At opening time I drove into the lot near the garage doors because my tire light kept coming on. Id done this in the past and always received kind, courteous, & professional assistance. The attendant said hed open the doors in couple minutes (he had to finish his cigarette). About 12 minutes later he opened the doors and threw the tire gage and air pump towards my car (it was drizzling). I asked him if he could help me. He kept grunting that he wasnt being paid to help me and it wasnt his job and he kept reminding me that he wasnt being paid to do this (he kept repeating and repeating this). I asked him who could help me so I could ask that person. He wouldnt answer (he never so much as looked at me throughout this awful exchange). I asked him if he could kindly show me how to use the air devise since he didnt want to help me as I didnt know how to use it. He kept repeating that it wasnt his job. I went to the front desk to ask who could assist me. The manager (?) was still opening up although he said that hed eventually come out to help me. When I went back to my car the angry attendant was just finishing check and filling my tires. As he walked away I called out to him asking if he could at least tell me the condition of the tires. He grumbled something back at me about my electrical system being off because the tires were fine. Again he wouldnt so much as look at me. I honestly cannot recall being so grossly mistreated in any type of service place---ever. I will inform AAA of this as I am a member and their name is associated with Bob Sumerel.

I am a AAA member so when my car malfunctioned on the highway, they recommended this place. I wish they had not. They told me I needed to replace the alternator on my car (a very expensive replacement, especially for a 4 year old car) but that didn’t fix everything and I had to take it to the dealership immediately after I picked it up today.I came in, paid and when I got to my car, NOTHING had improved from when I had it towed. I went back in immediately and the front desk man, Chris who I had been communicating all along with told me that none of the lights were on and my car was “totally fine” when he “drove it that morning.” Conveniently, a mechanic from the back came up and realized we were talking about my alternator job. He looked and Chris and said “did you charge her for an alternator?” As it turns out, I did NOT need a new alternator and should have not been charged AT ALL. This place did not have the equipment to fix it.Chris did not communicate with the mechanic nor read the paper work. If it was not for that mechanic, I would have been paying far too much money for a job that was never done. My single star goes to the man who corrected Chris’s mistakes and incorrect information.

On June 18th I took my car in because my low pressure tire light was on. They told me my tires were dry rotted and I needed four new tires. I told them I would think about it and I would just pick my car up for now. When I got there, I asked if they put air in the tire, they said no they arent low, they are dry rotted.The following Friday I took my car to my Mazda dealer and asked them to check my tires because I was told they were dry rotted. They told me my tires are fine and put air in my tires. My tires are still holding air.I dont know if the people at Bob Sumeral are incompetent or dishonest.And Im a AAA member

The company over charges for parts and resell your cores after for even more profit. The part I need was sold at amazon for $750. They wanted to charge $1400 for the parts and $400 for labor. DON’T GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS for any major repairs.

Purchased tires front passenger side has a slow leak. Been there 3 times in July. Going back tomorrow hope they fix the problem

September 14, 2020 a tire picked up a bolt and was completely flat. I limped into this Bob Sumerel Tire location as they were closing. The service rep at the desk said they could not repair the tire but to pull around back for some air. A technician greated me and realized the tire would not take air. He happily jacked up my car and put the donut spare on, making sure it was properly inflated. He also gave me a tire bag so I could put the wheel into the trunk. I was on the way to perform military honors at a Navy funeral and was not looking forward to getting dirty and sweaty. I wish to thank the staff for their kindness and help that allowed me to get to my appointment on time. Thank you.

We had a vehicle emergency traveling home to PA from Nashville late at night for Thanksgiving. We were able to exit and find a hotel. This service center was close by, was there at 7:30am, the published opening time and no one there. 20 minutes later, someone finally showed up, and just one person. Hard to imagine an entire service center of workers being late, but yep, that was the case.I decided I wasn’t entrusting the care of my vehicle to a business that operates like this. Went to Donovan’s Service Center, which was close by and they were awesome, helping us get back on the road by noon so we could get home for the holiday.

Tyrone !! You were an excellent Service Adviser. Thank you for bringing a positive attitude to work, and making sure the customer felt cared for and respected. I came here for tire issues and the whole staff was professional and timely. Tires I purchased are still working really well !

Great Service! Friendly Hosts!They will ask to fix things that arent necessarily needed right away.If you bought your vehicle to keep for life, they will stay on top of any and all service.Most of use are in a different vehicle every 4-7 years.

On June 6 I called Bob Sumerel AAA on Ridge to see about bringing my car in because it was having an issue with idling installing they told me to bring it in Friday morning is that they would try to work it in I bring them Friday morning when they opened at 7:30 and they told me that they would call me later that day I spoke to a gentleman by the name of Tom who is very rude non-helpful and just didn’t seem to care the few other times I brought it in for other issues I dealt with a gentleman by the name of Tyrone who was awesome took good care of me and it was always helpful but when I brought it into Tom he didn’t call me Friday I had to call him he didn’t seem to act like he really wanted to try to help me fix my car so Friday passes he said it wouldn’t be until Monday the weekend passes they won’t really open but by Monday you would think that any cars they didn’t get worked on from the weekend would’ve been pushed in front I didn’t hear anything it wasn’t until first thing today being Tuesday, June 11 that they actually took a look at it and to call me and tell me that they couldn’t try to fix it and the worst thing is they try to quote me thousands of dollars I took it to another shop they told me that the issue could be took an care of and for a lot less money the fact this man tried to say that I needed to pay thousands of dollars to possibly get my car fixed when it really didn’t cost that much was dishonest business and I don’t recommend anyone come there and do not ask for Tom

From Vermont to Dallas, I have been around the block when it comes to getting my tires serviced. In all the places I have been, there has been some sincere servicemen and women and there have been some who left much to be desired, accompanying a painful transaction, which leaves me wondering, why the hell did I just give them my hard-earned money? This afternoon, I hit a screw on an even more screwy road in good ole Cincinnati (cheers, Mark Twain), so I steered my limping jalopy over to Bob Sumerel in Pleasant Ridge, thinking with dread about the fact that closing time would be nigh in fifteen minutes. Seeing the packed lot and knowing the industry, I figured it would be a test to get some help in my dire hour.So there I stood at the service counter, counting my blessings and hoping for some minimal amount of assistance, maybe just a quick shot of air at the least. The service advisor, Mr. Tyrone Roberson wound his way to the counter from the back of the shop, smiling like a beam of sunshine cutting through a tremendous thunderhead. Mr. Tyrone heard my case, asked for my keys and like a savior, got my car onto a lift to take a look and plug that leak.Knowing the age of my tires and seeing that I was working with a good team, I asked Mr. Tyrone if he wouldnt mind checking inventory before plugging that tire, because I need to make a replacement request anyways. Of course, I wasnt going to get the tires done today, but if I could have them done before I go out of town next week, that would be wonderful, I mentioned. Tyrone made a quick check, found what I needed and got me a bid for the work to be done tomorrow! He then ensured my tire was filled and safe to drive back home, until I can get the replacement on.All I have to say is combined with his attitude, ease of conversation, and downright service-oriented focus, Bob Sumerel couldnt have a better rep. The service industry needs more Mr. Tyrone Roberson. The man has a vision and a modeling for the younger folks to grow with. My return business is guaranteed!

We were traveling through Ohio to reach family in Kentucky. Somehow we picked up a screwdriver extension bit. We called several places to have our tire fixed, they all said 4 or more hours. We finally called Bob Sumerel and thankfully reached Tyrone. I cannot even adequately express how kind and helpful Tyrone was to us. He said he didnt want is to have a long wait and miss family time this holiday weekend. He then proceeded to leave the desk and handle our tire disaster personally. ( Tire pressure was down to 17lbs by the time we limped in) . We were back on the in road in 15 minutes. Thanks to this wonderful person we wont miss our family dinner. Small things like this remind you that there are still incredible people out there. TYRONE YOU WERE OUR HERO TODAY.. anyone ever in the need of service, please stop in and pay it forward .

I trust this place over any other locations. Mr. Roger is excellent mechanic and has helped me with low tires and when I need tires or a battery they are only place I would go or recommend.

I was having trouble starting my Golf diesel and getting a lot of error messages so went to my closest AAA dealer. They read the codes for $85 and said I needed to go to the dealer. Called the dealer and they could not get me in for a week so in desperation went to Midas who read the codes for $15 and said I needed a new battery which I bought at Costco and put in myself. All errors disappeared and car is starting well again. I went back to Bob Sumerel to as for my $85 back - and was rudely told that they had done their job! Is it possible to give negative stars

Went to the location with a spare I put on my own car. Inquired about a replacement tire . I was given three different prices then the management suggested I get 4 new tires. I had just purchased 4 new tires previously from that location on Ridge . This was a substitute management . He was very nice and trying to get me to purchase a larger package then what I actually came into the location for . He had several other customers that come in and want the same type of servic However he took very long handling the telephone call . So customers call other locations and then left the store.

I went in because my tire keeps getting flat due to old rims on an old truck. They fix the problem and told me to have a great day. Thats the way you treat a a customer that will definitely be returning.

This is the worst place I could of took my car. They changed the transmission and had it an hour and had to have it towed back there because there saying something is wrong with the heating element. What kind of bull is that and now going on my 2 week and they still dont know what is wrong with it. Its all about the money and you know there not going to admit there faults. They make me sick. I want them to fix my car RIGHT SO I CAN BE DONE WITH THEM...... Thank youPS. You guys need to. Be shut down if you dont know what your doing!!!!!!

I get excellent service from Tom and his staff at Bob Sumerel. No matter how busy it is, they always find the time take care of me.

Excellent. As a AAA member I was able to get my tire pressure checked and corrected in a few minutes at no charge.

Good customer service. Today I bright my car in with a problem that was partly caused by a poor recommendation from one of their former employees. The person I was working with today corrected it by not charging me for the part that should not need to have been replaced. He also made me tea while I was waiting.

Had an appointment at 11 waited an hour. Asked for an ETA and was rudely told hed get me in as soon as he could and they were an hour and a half behind. Would of been nice to know they couldnt honor my appointment at the beginning.

I didnt have an appointment but these guys fit me in to fix my tire. All of the personnel here are super friendly and do a great job taking care of you as their customer.

Came to get an alignment which I scheduled 3days in advance to get here and be told theres no technician. Which I could have understood if the guy wasnt so rude will not be coming to this location.

Best price on 4 tires with balancing in my area. Had a AAA discount. I checked other businesses around. Referred my neighbor and she was happy there too.

These guys dont seem to be on the ball at least Tom doesnt. I need my car towed over to get a new battery so I called ahead and asked him to do an oil change as well and look at the four-wheel drive unit. the vehicle got over there at 1 by 5 in the afternoon nothing had been done and he forgot what he was supposed to do. Generally going through the motion type of response from Tom....

These guys are the best. Second time stopping in to get a flat repaired. In an out in under 30 minutes.

I am knowledgeable when it comes to cars, but you probably wouldnt know it to see me. I am also extremely aware of the importance of customer service. Tyrone was wonderful, squeezing me in for an oil change at the end of the day when I was overdue and in a time crunch. I thanked him profusely, and he said come back to us and thats all the thanks we need. Customer service and sales skills, always ask for the sale. I did come back.I had a frustrating exhaust leak in the flex pipe that made my car loud. Jeremy and Tyrone took care of it. They went the extra step to make sure it was fixed properly, and that the parts were correct. Apparently, at one point, it was not correctly fixed. They found another issue and took care of it and followed through. There was not an upsell, it was legitimate. They care.I will be going there tomorrow for an alignmemt.I trust they do a good job, they back up their work, and I know their pricing is fair. At no point did I feel condescended to (women, you know what I mean and how important that is). Their customer service is wonderful, and I believe they will take as good of care of you as they do I.

I have had horrible service several times from a particular employee, Jeremy. He has been very short as if I was interrupting his work when customers are his work. I will not go back to that location only because of him. All other employees there are very helpful and friendly.

Dropped off a flat tire and they repaired it for no charge since I was putting it back on the car myself. One of guys even offered to carry the tire to my car. Great experience and really nice guys.

DO NOT GO HERE!! I came here for a simple oil change. Next day I went to another place to get some other stuff done cheaper. They started checking the oil and when I said I just had it changed done the day before, they showed me NO OIL on the dipstick!! Had to go to a different Bob Sumerel I was nearby to have them put oil in and they didnt apologize or anything. These people are crooks and just want your money. They could care less. Lucky we found it before the engine blew up...

This is not a good place to go, one year ago, I purchased a tire and did the alignment, today I went to tire discounters, they showed me that the alignment was not right, so I need to change the same tire that I purchased from AAA. Moreover, when I called AAA back then they gave me a price and when I went to the shop gave different price, much higher, I dont know why.
