I had geothermal put in 6 years ago by Sentry. I just want to express my gratitude and appreciation to Dave and Cory for a great job and their service throughout those years. They’re always prompt and professional. The whole system still works terrific. It’s quiet, efficient and distributes air lightly and evenly. No cold spots in the winter. Auxiliary heat doesn’t even kick in yet at 0°F. During the summer, a/c can actually get too chilly to where I have to turn up the thermostat. Two households next to me also use Sentry.

My house had poor air distribution in certain areas such that in the summer some rooms did not get enough cool air and were very hot. Chris and Dave made multiple visits to the house to assess different options for improving the air circulation. They determined the best option was to set up a zoned system. They installed a high efficiency furnace and high efficiency air conditioner and the zone controller and dampers. Their crew was very attentive to details, worked diligently, and cleaned up the work area. Now, I need to wait for hot weather to see how well the zones work.

Sentry replaced our two heat pumps with a new geothermal system. Dave and his crew have shown themselves to be very knowledgeable and professional, but what really separates Sentry is how they communicate. Status updates and responses to questions and concerns are always clear and prompt. With Dave you always feel like youre working together to get the best solution. Im recommending them at every opportunity.

We have been working to improve energy efficiency and reduce our carbon footprint, so we were excited to hear about the renewed federal tax credit for geothermal heat pump systems.After researching the technology and contacting several companies for quotes, we selected Sentry Heating & Air. Their price was very competitive, and I especially appreciated that Dave was willing to work with me to determine my needs, rather than to just prescribe the only solution.I will admit that I was a bit nervous about going with such a small company rather than a bigger name, but I neednt have been. Dave and Corey know their craft, and I really admired watching their teamwork as they brought the system to life. There were a couple small snafus (like the delivery date for the main unit), but Dave was extremely responsive and responsible, and everything was completed in the timeframe desired.The system has been working wonderfully through this hot summer, I am totally spoiled by the comfort of the new zone system, and our electric bills have been amazingly low.I would not hesitate to contact Sentry Heating & Air for further work.

Retrofitted my old house with Geothermal - since the house did not previous duct work, there is a lot of labor involved. But I dont mind, everyone who has been in my home has been so incredibly nice and patient with me and my dogs. Dave, Vincent and Corey have been fantastic throughout this project.

I wanted to say that having Sentry put in my geothermal system has been one of the best decisions Ive made. I use to have a heat pump with a propane backup. We used on an average of 800+ gallons of propane a year. Since weve put our geothermal system in, we now use 0 propane. This is remarkable considering a couple years ago how cold it was. I cannot be more happy with Dave and his crew. Weve had zero problems with it and this is our 4th year with it.
